ANOTHER QUICK ONE. sorry for the delay
"FUCK... ME!," she screamed in shock when the thunder 'woke' her.
She was soaked, dressed in her silk night clothes... inches from a rain cooled lava flow.
How had she gotten here? Where were the three women she was with?, the strange little girl?
Lara hugged her about the waist, desperate to keep her safe.
The head of security ran over to the two friends from a thicket of shrubs... what was she doing back there? was someone hurt?
Lara held her, and whispered gently,"Why not, my hearts racing, we're both wet. We'll stop by the pizza shop, get Doug... you certainly have gotten over your need for being cloistered."
The security head got in on it to, "Doug... he delivered last night? Nice choice... for a breeder."
"Real p.c.," Sam respond, trying not to get too spooked by her sleep...
She spotted her favorite twenty-first birthday present - all fifteen hundred horses under one crimson hood of it - twenty yards away... parked.
... driving. HOW?
Lara walked her over to the Bugatti Chiron, and climbed into the driver seat.
"You might wanna let me drive; apparently I'm able to do it... in my sleep." Sam said, laughing nervously
The Brit smiled at her friend, but was amazed by that perceived fact. Truth be told she wasn't entirely certain Sam was aware that she had done it; but wide awake, not asleep. She was worried her bff had manifestoed a second consciousness to deal with the trauma, and get on with her life, oblivious to this others existence. She played along, "What were you dreaming about? You never lost control of the car. We followed you from the compound. We were so excited for you... we also thought you were awake."
"I was following this little girl through a huge hedge maze, with three young hotties. Why do I get all the dreams YOU want?"
Lara grinned as she started the car.
Sam turned her head, and watched as the security chief climbed into a Land Rover, and followed. She closed her eyes for just a moment... that was all HE needed.

HE opened Sam's eyes, and gazed at Lara... grinning. Oh what fun this would be.
