Chapter 25 Auditions
Tomas' POV
Ten Minutes Later
Rosa and I arrived in the park.
"Okay", I started. "What is so big that you came all the way here to tell me?"
"First", Rosa started. "I wanted to apologize for what I did. I was way to harsh in rejecting you."
"No kidding", I stated. "Why did you do that? You were really harsh, and that's not like you."
"Your confession took me by surprise", Rosa revealed. "I panicked. But after thinking about it for a bit...I realized that...I do like you." [Romeo and Juliet Extra: (does spit take) What?!]
This made me look at Rosa in shock.
"What", I said in shock. "You like me?"
"I do", Rosa replied. "And I was wondering...if you would give me another chance?"
"Another chance", I asked.
Rosa just nodded.
"I'll think about it."
Ten Minutes Later
Violetta's POV
Mejor, Cancion and I were waiting for Tomas.
"Where's Tomas", the former asked. "I'm about to go on!"
"I don't know", I replied.
And as if on cue...Tomas and Rosa came running in.
"There you are", Mejor said annoyed. "Where have you two been?"
"Talking", Tomas replied.
"And", Cancion asked.
"I'll tell you guys later."
Before I could say anything...Pablo came out and said this.
"Mejor Amigo?"
"That's my cue", Mejor stated. "Wish me luck guys!"
With that Mejor walked into the singing classroom.
"Hello Mejor", Pablo started. "What song will you be singing for us today?"
"I will be singing a rock rendition of Taylor Swift's Bad Blood." [Romeo and Juliet Extra: This is based on the cover Silence the City did.]
"Interesting choice", Pablo stated. "You May begin."
With that Mejor performed a great version of Bad Blood!
When it ended everybody cheered.
"Thank you", Mejor said bowing. "Thank you. I bid thee adieu."
With that Mejor walked out of the room.
"And that's how you do it", he stated.
Pablo then walked out of the room.
"Cancion Abalos", he asked.
"My turn", Cancion said. "Wish me luck."
With that Cancion walked into the singing classroom.
"Hello Cancion", Pablo greeted. "And what song will you be singing?"
"I will be singing a cover of 'In My Blood' by Shawn Mendes. [Romeo and Juliet Extra: It was originally was going to be Titanium by Sia. That was used in Chapter 7 of my Descendants fan fiction 'Saving Kingdoms.' #ShamelessPlug.]
"Very well then", Pablo started. "You May begin."
With that Cancion performed a great version of In My Blood!
When it ended everybody cheered before Cancion walked out of the room.
"Good job Cancion", I stated.
Pablo then walked out of the room again.
"Estrella Rodriguez!" [Romeo and Juliet Extra: (does spit take) What?!]
With thatI looked in shock as Estrella walked up to us.
She was wearing a black vest; black jeans; black gladiator high heels; and a black, sheer bat top.
Her hair was curly and loose.
She was wearing black eyeshadow; black mascara; black eyeliner on her eyelids with wing up tips and blood red lipstick.
Her nails were painted black.
"Why hello", Mejor said before walking up to Estrella. "The name's Mejor Amigo. May I ask your name?"
"I'm Estrella Rodriguez", said person replied.
"Estrella", I said in shock. "You're auditioning? But what about Art Rebel?"
"Yeah! What about Art Rebel!"
With that I turned around and saw...all the other Art Rebel students! [Romeo and Juliet Extra: Okay! Stop making me spit take!]
"What are you guys going here", I asked in shock.
"That doesn't matter", Gery stated. "What matters is that Estrella is betraying us!"
"I'm a star honey", Estrella stated. "And I can't shine in that little studio Gregorio thinks is going to go somewhere."
"You take that back", Diego demanded angrily.
"Can't", Estrella stated. "I have to go and nail my audition.
With that Estrella walked into the singing classroom.
"Hey", Austin started. "You're Estrella from my party!"
"That's right", Estrella said. "And I'm going to perform a song I wrote called Superstar." [Romeo and Juliet Extra: This song is from Make It Pop. You should read my Make It Pop fan fiction 'Make It Pop Season 3.' #ShamelessPlug.]
With that Estrella performed.
When she was done everybody cheered before she walked out of the classroom.
"I can't believe you did that", Lara stated. "I thought we were supposed to be a team?!"
"Oh come on now", Estrella said. "Did you really think I'd want to be on a team with you?"
"Well too bad", Lara stated. "'Cause here's what you're missing."
With that Gery grabbed a guitar, Clement grabbed a keyboard and Diego grabbed a drum kit.
"Hit it!"
With that everybody started playing their instruments and Lara started singing 'Beggin on Your Knees.'
when the song ended...everybody broke out into loud applause.
"You like that", Lara asked causing everybody to cheer. "Then come to Art Rebel for more!"
With that Gery, Clement and Diego started handing out flyers. [Romeo and Juliet Extra: So that's why they came.]
Milton then walked up to the group.
"Excuse me", he asked. "But who are you?"
"We're from a studio called Art Rebel", Lara revealed.
"Another studio", Milton asked in shock. "Well that won't do. Get out!"
Before anything else could happen...Diamond walked up to everybody.
"Watch what you say Milton", she said. "That's MY DAUGHTER you're talking to." [Romeo and Juliet Extra: (does spit take) What?!]
With that everybody got looks of shock on their faces.
"Wait a minute", Leon said in shock. "You're Diamond's daughter! And you didn't say anything?"
"I didn't anybody to treat me because of who my mother was", Lara replied before looking her friends. "Come on guys. Let's go."
With that Lara and her friends left.
"Okay", Pablo started. "Now that that's over with. Maton Grande is up next."
With that said person walked into the singing classroom.
"Hello Maton", Pablo greeted. "What will you be singing for us today?"
"I will be singing One Direction's Story of My Life."
With that Maton sang said song.
When it ended the teacher's cheered and Maton walked out of the classroom.
"Okay", Pablo started. "Up next is Rosa Corazon."
With that said person walked into the singing classroom.
"Hello Rosa", Pablo greeted. "And what song will you be singing for us?"
"I will be singing David Guetta's Without You."
With that Rosa sang her song...and she sang it to Tomas. [Romeo and Juliet Extra: Ooo.]
And hearing sing this song to him...it made me realize something. Something big. [Romeo and Juliet Extra: What?]
I still liked Tomas.
