Thousand years has passed since the event of Dirge of Cerberus, leaving only Vincent alone. But then, an event turns up that requires his strength to join into the battle once again. Full summary in the Prologue chapter.

25. Chapter 24

Took me a lot of time to think some actions and events and some logical things in this chapter… it makes me want to do this due to my lack of ideas. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

I do not own Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Mahou Sensei Negima, and Kara no Kyoukai.

[Kotarou has lost his match to Colonel, but that was something that everyone has expected. Kotarou felt that he is weak and feared that the others might look down at him with disappointment face, so I starts lecturing at him to makes Kotarou learn his lesson, and he learned his lesson in the end. After this, my match is up, everyone knows about my opponent isn't something that can take it easily. Stepping up the stage to fight my opponent, Black Hood Jecht, has revealed himself a tall muscular middle age man after taking off his outfit. Eva and others knows that they cannot take on Jecht lightly. When the match almost start, something happen that I didn't expect, Chao changed the rules and the match becoming more exciting, allowing us to use any weapons including sharp weapons, the battle time extended, and there will be no countdown off the ring there. This is something that I didn't expect, but this gives me an advantage and disadvantage. I can go all out, but I cannot use any large scale attacks. Fighting Jecht isn't easy, for that he is one of the Chaos's elite warriors, way stronger than Weiss and others. While I was fighting Jecht in the half way, many monsters that are not from this world came out sudden interrupting our fight, and I have to quickly eliminate them. After eliminated those monsters, another one appeared out, and this one is dangerous, very dangerous.]

Chapter 24: Festival Act – The Tournament part 4

Outside Tatsumiya Shrine

Right after the first round's matches, the number of people is increasing after they have view the videos and forums on the internet. Everyone looked interested after viewing the results and highlights of the first matches, and there's another reason, most all the girls got attracted by Vincent's face without headband during in his first match facing Mana, mostly are his students, and especially 3-A girls. The girls got free time to go watch the tournament match, Zazie is helping them watch over their Haunted House.

"Seriously!? Is this really Vincent-sensei!?" Misa asked loudly as she held a laptop pointing at the screen showing Vincent's face with Mana. "My god! H-He's so hottttt! How come I never know about this?" Misa exclaimed.

"It is Vincent-sensei alright! And that is why we have to get inside there no matter what!" Madoka replied as she points her finger toward to entrance. "But…!" She looked at the entrance there, are crowded with many people that the girls are unable to enter through the gate. "We can't enter through the gate!" Madoka exclaimed, while they are seeing Ayaka ranting and struggling as she wanted to enter there to see her beloved Negi-sensei, while Sakurako holding her.

"Ah… the line isn't moving at all…" Ayaka said as she clenching her fist and yelling again after she has watched Negi's match. "Please back awaaay! Negi-sensei!" Ayaka is yelling while crying. "At this rate, Negi-sensei's gallant appearance will be missed…!"

"Damn! Vincent-sensei's second match is already started few minutes ago! Somehow we can't view any videos from the current match!" Misa exclaimed as she checked the table match.

"Curse it!" Madoka yelled. "We have to hurry!"

"Hm…" Makie was looking around, and then she got an idea as she looked at the roof there. '…Easy~' Makie thought as she smirked. Ako and Akira noticed.

"What is it, Makie?" Ako asked.

"Hm… he he he~" Makie turned around looked at both of them reply, "Well, today's the festival anyway~ Guess it'll be okay to do something bad for a little~" Makie told them and they are confused.

Stage

Right after Vincent has eliminated those unforeseen arrival of those monsters, another one appeared. But this one is different, a powerful spirit being appeared, Dark Yojimbo, now appeared on the stage to fight Vincent, seeing it draws out its katana. Now, things are not easy for Vincent as he standing there try not to make any unnecessary movements, one slightly movement and it will be a fatal. Ordinary humans couldn't feel its enormous presence. [Note: Yojimbo means Hired Bodyguard in Japanese]

"…Just… what in the world is that…?" Takane asked as she felts a powerful presence with unfriendly aura. "I-I don't think my puppets couldn't match against that…"

"S-Such an overwhelming presence…" Setsuna said as her hands trembling feared its presence.

"…Now that's incredible presence… I don't think I can win against that head on…" Colonel stated. "Even if I can, it will take a long time…"

"S-suddenly another one appeared out of nowhere! And this one seem like it's very unfriendly!" Kazumi shouted.

'…Vi-Vincent-sensei… Be careful… I scared of that thing…' Sayo thought as she scared due to its overwhelming aura.

"…Be careful, its swordsmanship is its specialty! Don't ever underestimate it!" Jecht said as he readied his stance to fight Vincent, he doesn't want any troubles come from Chaos as long if he's play under the palm.

"Yojimbo huh? Guess they sent a bodyguard to protect you, Jecht." Vincent said as he seemly joking a bit but still he cannot underestimate the Dark Yojimbo.

"Ha! Very funny…" Jecht said as he heard.

'Dark Aeon… for me it looks like a corrupted summon… What a killing intent coming from this aeon…' Vincent thought staring at Yojimbo with his menacing glare as he ready to face both of them. '…Got a feeling that this one got instant kill ability… I have to be careful.' Vincent seeing Yojimbo readied its stance after it brought out its katana, its eyes stares glowing red with killing intent glare. Suddenly it dashed toward to Vincent really fast, Vincent widen his eyes as he quickly raised his sword to block the attack from Yojimbo that appears in front of him. Vincent totally didn't expect that the Dark Yojimbo attack really fast that almost dropped Vincent's guard down. '…Fast…! This means I have to keep its pace!' Vincent thought as he struggling to push Dark Yojimbo's attack, he then pushed it back and began to fight back the Dark Yojimbo in incredible speed.

Then, Jecht had to make some moves as he leap toward and doing a thrust attack toward to Vincent, Vincent quickly blocks it. "Hey, keep your pace!" Jecht warns as he's about to attack Vincent without holding back, both of them rapidly attack Vincent incredibly fast and Vincent managed to keep up their pace with his speed without the help of the Haste magic. He doesn't know Dark Yojimbo's attack is powerful and fast, it's like fighting Sephiroth.

'Tsk…!' Vincent cursed struggling to defend against two of them. 'I'd never expect something like this could happen…'

"What is that thing… incredible presence…?" Mana asked as she felt a powerful being coming from Dark Yojimbo, much more powerful that she never felt before, she seeing Vincent is being pushed back under heavy pressure. "Vincent-kun… Please be careful…"

"…!" Chao surprised seeing a powerful unknown presence appeared that she wasn't predicted that Dark Yojimbo came, and fight against Vincent as she can see both of them are giving heavy pressure onto Vincent.

"Just… What in the world is that…?" Takahata asked from there he can felt its enormous presence.

"…From what I know… It's a spirit being, something like summon a mystical beast to fight alongside, but this is my first time felt this kind of pressure-ne…" Chao replied. "If Vincent-sensei gets a bit careless, he may lose-ne…" Takahata can notice Chao's tone has a bit concern. And Takahata started to get a bit understand of Chao's other objective.

'This Yojimbo… doesn't have any opening…!' Vincent thought blocking against two powerful beings while analyzing Dark Yojimbo, no luck so far. He then tries to increase his strength output to overcome the situation, and managed to push back Yojimbo and Jecht temporary.

The Dark Yojimbo stares down at Vincent after recovered within short time as it readying its stance, and so does with Jecht, "Not enough!" Jecht shouted as he taunting him before he jumped and brought down his sword to Vincent, Vincent had to jump away from the attack, he knew if he block the attack, the Dark Yojimbo will attack on him. He landed farther a bit away from them.

'Tsk… This is totally different from fighting against Weiss and Nero at the Cinema Town before… This one, its attack pressure is much way stronger…stronger than any of those I've fought before...' Vincent thought as he looked at Dark Yojimbo, glaring at Vincent menacingly. 'Dark Yojimbo, I don't know any of its abilities… I cannot get careless in this one… If this Yojimbo doesn't have any opening, I'll create one…' Vincent thought as he began to fight back, same goes to the opposite force.

Vincent dashed and jumped towards to both of them as both forces began exchanging slashes incredibly fast, they all seeing Vincent is capable to solo fight both of them despite he is still being pressed by them heavily as they are seeing Vincent is dancing with his swords against both of them with his agile and acrobatic movements.

"Contestant Vincent just dashed towards to them without hesitation and he is fighting like dancing with swords!" Kazumi thought as she amazed. "The time has already passed 15 minutes longer than the regular time limit!"

A moment Vincent managed to stagger Jecht with his sword block against Jecht's attack, he kicked Jecht farther away and clashed onto the pond there through the railing, passing below the spectators' seats, the spectators were surprised and shocked to see Vincent's kick is deadly, capable to send someone flew away, and now leaving Dark Yojimbo alone there as he is attempted to quickly eliminate the Dark Yojimbo fast, he jump towards and bring down his sword vertically at it, and Yojimbo raised its katana to going to thrust attack at the same time, causing the two attacks clashed on each other.

'…No choice…' Vincent then purposely make his sword slipped passed the katana as its katana is going to thrust at his head, Vincent moved his head away from the katana's path and it managed to cut his left cheek, while his sword on his right going down and managed to damage the Dark Yojimbo on its left chest.

The attack managed to stagger Dark Yojimbo a bit, and Vincent spun himself before landed on the ground beside the Dark Yojimbo, while the Dark Yojimbo staggered, Vincent going to use this chance to attempt to give a horizontal slash to its left side. But all not went well, for Jecht that he suddenly appeared above the Dark Yojimbo to interrupts Vincent's attack by coming down from above them, this cancelled his attack towards to the Dark Yojimbo as he quickly raised his sword and blocked the attack from Jecht, Vincent kicked Jecht's sword and jumped away from both of them, and the Dark Yojimbo recovered back from the stagger and ready to attack again.

'…Tsk… I have to be fast, I have to think a strategy…' Vincent thought glared at them menacingly as he thinks out some ways.

'…You're strong, Vincent. But those skills are still not enough, you'd better think some way to defeat us, or you'll be dead first.' Jecht thought as he glancing at Dark Yojimbo.

"Vincent-kun…" Chizuru muttered worrying seeing there are some bloods flowing down from the wound on his left cheek.

…

"It seems like c-contestant Vincent is having some difficulty against two of them! But his face still remained calm as usual!" Kazumi shouted through the mic, as a referee she wouldn't dare to interrupt the fight because she knows two against one is unfair, but Vincent told her not to interrupt no matter what happens on the stage. '…Be safe, Vincent-kun!' Kazumi thought as she concerns.

"…Vincent-nii is in trouble…!" Negi said as he seeing the situation.

"Bastard… How dare they do that to his face…?" Eva angered as she sees the cut wound on Vincent's cheek, bleeding. Then, they see Vincent is doing something.

'I couldn't use any of my skills that can cause large scale of destruction, otherwise this would be easy. Then I'll just focus on one small single target skills and more balance… Let me change weapon…' Vincent thought. "Metal, change my weapon." Vincent commanded his weapon, the weapon suddenly started to change its shape, it shines before it split into two, one on his left hand, and the other one on his right hand, together it becomes his sword and blue shield. 'Warrior of Light, I'm borrowing your strength.' Vincent readied his stance by imitating Warrior of Light's fighting stance.

"The contestant Vincent has changed his weapon into sword and shield!" Kazumi shouted.

"…Oh, that stance is that knight." Jecht started recognized the sword and the shield, some more the stance. Then, the Dark Yojimbo flew toward before Jecht as both of them are going to attack, Vincent dashed towards to fight them. The Dark Yojimbo drew back its katana to its left side before it brought out going to slash at Vincent, Vincent parried its attack using his sword to his right side, that moment Jecht swings his great sword toward to Vincent's left side, Vincent then brought up his shield to block it, then he returned back by pushing the sword back, then he jumped up before the Dark Yojimbo's sudden horizontal slash hit him. Vincent then gives Jecht a kick straight to his face, and once again sending him flying over the water, just flew below the spectators' seats.

While Jecht wasn't at there, Vincent then uses this chance, "I'm not done with you yet." Vincent said as he glanced at the Dark Yojimbo before he began to attack, he first throw his shield downward to the Dark Yojimbo, the Dark Yojimbo uses it katana to hit it away, but it didn't notice Vincent dashed toward to the Dark Yojimbo, making it caught off guard, Vincent then slashed on its left shoulder. The shield react as it suddenly returned back to his right arm, and Vincent attacks combining with his sword and shield as he can manipulate his shield freely, and then follow up as he brought his sword rising toward to the Dark Yojimbo, the Dark Yojimbo blocked it with its katana on its right hand, they could see Vincent's sword attack managed to push the Dark Yojimbo back a bit few centimeter. '…Its strength is strong.' Vincent thought as he couldn't push his sword toward.

Then, he didn't foresee Dark Yojimbo withdraws three small daggers (Kozukas) from inside of its coat on its left hand and threw it to Vincent, that moment Vincent already raised his shield and managed to deflected two of them, blocking two of its daggers managed to pushed him back, and one of daggers that didn't manage to block struck on the ground, causing the stage shaking, and they didn't expected of its destruction, the dagger penetrated the ground creating a hole there, the water coming out from the hole there.

Something caught their attentions, a person rushing towards to the stage running on the surface of the water, they seeing the contestant Jecht was that person, and then he jumped from that spot, leaving a large shockwave and creating a large water wave that can reach at the spectators' seats, the water reaches at their feet. The moment Jecht landed back on the stage there, he dashed forward and brought down his great sword to Vincent. Vincent raised his shield to defend himself, as the sword clashed onto the shield with Jecht's strength, forcing Vincent falls on his knee on the floor there, and both forces are pushing each other to see who win, so much chaotic.

"…Got any plan?" Jecht asked as he adding more pressure on his great sword. Vincent's feet sunk into the ground there in the middle of the burned area.

"…You really think…?" Vincent said back as he's struggling to push back the great sword using his shield. But then, they noticed the Dark Yojimbo readying an attack, as it suddenly withdraw back its katana, then its right hand reaches another hilt of a sword, Jecht recognized that attack. The sword that the Dark Yojimbo reached there is Wakizashi, a short katana. [Note: Wakizashi means side inserted sword, samurai usually carry more than one katana, and Wakizashi is one of them.]

Vincent felt a powerful attack that is straight aiming at him, behind him lies with spectators, he cannot dodge this attack, and he must block it or take the attack head on. The moment Dark Yojimbo draw out its Wakizashi, it slashes at the air, throwing an incoming air pressure slash towards to Vincent in incredible speed, Jecht and Vincent as both of them seeing incoming attack, "Damn!" Jecht cursed as he jumped away withdrawing his great sword. "Block it!" Jecht shouted at Vincent, knowing Vincent will take on that attack to avoid the attack hit on spectators.

Vincent widen his eyes as he bring forth his shield and jumped back to try to reduce the impact damage, the moment the attack landed on him, causing many cuts onto him as they are many small slashes applies on him by the wind, even with the shield couldn't defend himself from that attack for that it has no physical form, inflicting Vincent with more wounds as the bloods non-stop flowing out, staggering him as he fell on his knee placing his hand on the ground there preventing him fall on the ground. '…Ugh… What an attack…'

"…Erm… I know as an explainer of this tournament that I cannot say anything that butt in… but…" Explainer Goutokuji said as he nervous a bit.

"…Vincent-sensei…" Chachamaru muttered as she worried.

"Vincent…!" Shiki worried seeing the wound.

"Vincent-kun…!" Konoka worried.

"Is that… real blood…?" Haruna asked as she's a bit worried seeing the fight started to get real.

"Is sensei's going to be alright!?" Takane exclaimed as she worried.

"…He did that just to prevent that attack hit on us." Colonel stated as he noticed.

"Hey! Don't drop your guard just by that!" Jecht dashed forward right after Vincent kneeled down on the floor there and began to beat up Vincent with various attacks, punches, kicks and some blunt attacks. Vincent can hardly defend himself under those injuries, each of his attack is packed with power, and among the elite warriors of Chaos, Jecht's strength is considered the second highest among of Chaos's elite warriors, and also his devastating combo chains, making him the deadly frontal brutalizer, Vincent can only block few of his attacks that using the great sword using his shield, however he couldn't block Jecht's devastating punches and kicks.

"Tsk…" Vincent cursed.

"Take this!" Jecht swing his great sword to Vincent, Vincent then use this chance to gives a punch directly to knock down his great sword and crushed on the floor there, stopping his movement temporary.

Vincent then points his sword towards to the Dark Yojimbo there and cast out, "Fira" a large amount of fire suddenly engulfing Dark Yojimbo from beneath it, surrounding the Dark Yojimbo with a large twist of fire tornado and when the fire tornado converge into together, it exploded. This just to buy some time before the Dark Yojimbo make a move, the explosion makes Jecht dropped his guard down. Then, Vincent stabbed the sword and grabbed on Jecht's face and begins to use another one, "Thundara" Vincent casted out a lightning magic as the large lightning bolt suddenly came down from the cloud there and struck on both of them, destroying the stage almost entirely and both contestants are surrounded by smoke. Everyone got frightened by that sudden lightning bolt as the lightning bolt blast blew away the fire that engulfed the Dark Yojimbo is on its knee with some injuries.

"W-w-what just happened!? Suddenly a fire explosion occurred and another lightning bolt came down from the cloud, but the weather right now is still sunny!" Kazumi announced as she spectate, even though she knew that kind of attack, she had to say something. "And right now we couldn't see anything due to the thick smoke there!" Kazumi announcing to everyone as they are all seeing a cloud of thick smoke covering the center of the stage.

Inside the smoke, Vincent is breathing hardly a bit for taking the lightning damage along with Jecht, then, a voice came. "Hey, exhausted?" Jecht's voice makes Vincent widening his eyes right before his face suddenly being grabbed and slammed on the floor, causing a powerful ground shake, that attack literally blows away all the smoke, revealing them as Jecht is bleed from his head after taking that lightning attack.

"What-what just happened!? The smoke's been blown away suddenly and revealed the contestant Jecht is on the upper hand as the contestant Vincent is on the ground!" Kazumi shouted as she spectated. Then, they see Jecht lifted up his left foot and stomped onto Vincent's head into the ground very hard, a huge ground shake shaken the whole place, and for the stage, it's been damaged badly by that stomp, capable to create a large line of crack in the middle of the stage there, everyone was shocked to see the powerful stomp, and worried about the contestant Vincent as they seeing Vincent is embedded into the stage. "O-Oh my god! The contestant Vincent has been embedded into the stage by the contestant Jecht! Some more that stomp instantly cracked open the stage as well! What a terrifying sight!" Kazumi announced as she spectated the whole thing, seeing Vincent is in rubbles there motionless, Negi and others are worried seeing Vincent has been covered by rubbles. "And now the contestant Vincent is embedded in there motionlessly! I will start the countdown!"

Just two counts, the rubbles started trembling as something is awakening inside the rubbles there, seeing the rubbles been blown away by a kick, and as well with a boulder that is part of the stage there, being lifted by someone beneath it, seeing Vincent as he lifted the boulder with his strength, they can see the stage has been damaged very badly, the most terrible damage. Vincent got out from there and he let go the boulder, the boulder landed on the ground with a ground shake. They could see Vincent is suffered some injuries, bleeding badly, mostly from his head as the blood almost covered his face entirely, and as well with his unfriendly glare.

"It looks like contestant Vincent is alright in one piece! But suffered some heavily injuries!" Kazumi announced as she seeing Vincent stood still in his position, the blood dripping from his head to the ground there, a lot.

"Nice endurance you got there, Vincent. Even after you received a lot of my attacks that could crack open the mountain." Jecht stated as he surprised everyone with his statement.

"…" Vincent remained speechless before saying anything. "Try harder than that." Vincent said as he taunted again his opponent. Jecht smirked as he heard that before he charged at Vincent again, and Vincent readied his stance to fight again, the battle become fiercer than before, everyone were speechless and startled that they couldn't say anything, they can only watch the gruesome battle between two inhuman-like humans, blood spilled everywhere. But then, they glanced at the Dark Yojimbo as it stood up, and suddenly, it raised its right hand as it chanting something, Jecht recognized that pattern.

"T-That unknown thing has backed up from its knee! And it seems like that thing is doing something!" Kazumi shouted.

"…Crap… This time is serious, Vincent! The Dark Yojimbo is readying its Zanmato!" Jecht told as both of them stopped.

"…What's the Dark Yojimbo is summoning…?" Vincent asked as he seeing the Dark Yojimbo is readying to summon out something.

"Zanmato is a katana, only Yojimbo can use that technique! It's an ultimate attack that any living beings can be instantly killed, even immortals!" Jecht explained, and this somehow surprised Vincent. For this is his first time hearing a katana can instantly kill an immortal, he had a thought about that. He's been lived for over thousand years without aging due to his immortality, nothing can kill him.

"…" Vincent remained speechless seeing the Dark Yojimbo as it summoned out a Katana from a portal in the ground in front of the Dark Yojimbo. The Dark Yojimbo grabbed the katana with its left hand, holding the scabbard and they are seeing the Dark Yojimbo drawing out the katana from it. Vincent felt a malicious and fearsome aura coming out from the katana, Negi and others could felt it too. '…I don't think I can block that attack… even with the shield…' Vincent thought before he glanced behind him, many lives are there as Negi and others are stood there, along with the spectators also. '…Some more… I cannot dodge the attack… seems like I have to block it…' Vincent thought as he readied his stance by raising his shield.

"…I don't like this…" Colonel stated as he felt that katana is powerful, shrouded by enormous dark power.

"T-the pressure is… too overwhelm…" Chamo commented.

"…I have never felt this kind of killing intent that is this heavy…" Eva confessed as she felts powerful killing intent coming from Dark Yojimbo.

'Let me test it… setting the limitation of this technique…' Vincent thought as he going to perform a move, he first slightly stabs his sword on the floor there in order to reduce the power of the technique that he's going to release it out, and use a little bit of his strength to swing his sword to reduce the momentum of his sword, reducing the traveling distance of the technique, to avoid harming the spectators along its way, the weakened version Shining Wave. By sending a wave of light forward to the Dark Yojimbo, with the height of 10 meters tall, the wave of light charging to the Dark Yojimbo and as well it bombarding the floor also like a unstoppable bulldozer with the speed of 75 KM/H.

"W-wow! The contestant Vincent suddenly sent a wave of bright light toward to that thing!" Kazumi shouted as she covering her eyes from the bright light of the Wave of Light.

"…A holy-based attack!?" Eva surprised.

"…Just how many skills does Vincent-kun have?" Colonel wondered.

The Wave of Light charging towards to the Dark Yojimbo, then the Dark Yojimbo raised its Zanmato katana and blocked the charging wave of light, the attack managed to push the Dark Yojimbo back a bit. Then, the Dark Yojimbo slashed the wave of light in half horizontally, this gives Vincent a bit surprised as he predicted this will happen, Vincent want to see the Zanmato's strength with his own eyes.

'…Confirmed… that Zanmato isn't something like Sephiroth's skills… this one is lethal… very lethal…' Vincent thought while still remain his calm as he readied his stance. '…I'm going to use that technique… must get a good timing…' Vincent thought as he planned a way to counter the Zanmato, but he yet uncertain of the result whether is it one side or double edge.

"Hey Vincent, neither you want to block it, or dodge it. Your choice." Jecht gives an option to Vincent to choose. But he knew Vincent will not dare to dodge it, and that is the problem. Another problem is, he can simply summons forth a mystical beast to take the attack instead of him, but he couldn't, because all of his summons can come with a devastating result that could cause a large scale, he don't want others get involved.

Then, the Dark Yojimbo dashed toward to Vincent and ready to slice down Vincent, "Here it comes! Don't try to take on that one!" Jecht said as he didn't foresee Vincent dashed toward to avoid the others and raised his shield to block the attack. Jecht didn't predict Vincent is recklessly takes on the attack. Right at the moment when both force clashed each other, the katana landed on the rising shield to guard the attack, while the shield slammed onto the incoming downward katana to slice down.

That moment the katana landed on the shield, Vincent use that technique, his shield suddenly shine brightly as the shield is ready to release something, Shield of Light. An attack that helps the shield wielder to block the attack at the right timing, and also the shield unleash a short-ranged burst of light energy. The attack of the Shield of Light managed to damage the Dark Yojimbo as the attack sent the Dark Yojimbo away, they could see the Dark Yojimbo is fatally wounded as it on its knee, the katana that the Dark Yojimbo drawn out disappeared.

Eva is trembling with fear also, seeing Vincent is kneeling on the floor there struggling to stand up but unable. "That's it… I'm going in…" Eva said as she moved but being stopped by Colonel as his hand at her right shoulder. "Let go of me!" Eva shouted as she turns back facing at Colonel.

"Don't be hasty, Evangeline. Vincent-kun told us don't interfere his match no matter what, and right now you're still in weakened state, Evangeline, you won't be able to help much with that current level of yours." Colonel stated.

"…!" Eva angered a bit but she has to accept it because it's true.

"Don't forget that, the moment if we step on the stage, we'll be dead instantly by that thing." Colonel told as he stares at the Dark Yojimbo there, heavily wounded but still releasing menacing aura. "Some more… that contestant Jecht there, I don't think we can win against him." Colonel then stared at Jecht, standing there with his great sword stabbed on the floor there, watching at Vincent. Right now Jecht is waiting for the result, Jecht isn't a fighter that attacks as he wants, he won't attack any fighters that are on the ground there.

"…Tsk…!" Eva cursed for not able to do anything clenching her fist tightly worrying.

"…Have a faith, Evangeline." Colonel said.

"Vincent-sensei!" Little Setsuna exclaimed.

Everyone started shouting his name to try to cheer and support Vincent up, but their voices couldn't get through Vincent's ears, for now his mind is started to get cloudy after taking that attack, '…Must… remain… control…' Vincent right now is trying his best not to let his blood rage to take over his mind to try to prevent his Limit Breaks, trying his best not to let his transformations take place of him, if his rage took over his mind, he will be unable to control himself as the transformations begun, and it will be bloodbath everywhere.

At that moment he was starting to lose a bit hope for unable to move a bit, everything started to slow motion as his rage within him started to increase. Then, inside his mind there's a voice echoing in his mind there calling for him, a voice that he recognize.

Jecht was surprised to see Vincent is still alive even after taking Zanmato head on, this is his first time seeing someone is still alive even after taking Zanmato, though in his life he had faced many tough monsters in his journey together with his companions Lord Braska and Auron (Both of them from Final Fantasy 10) for Braska's pilgrimage to fight and defeat Sin (Boss from Final Fantasy 10), so far before he face Sin, he had faced many tough monsters, tough enemies, tough opponents, tough team in Blitzball, but the Dark Aeon is different.

The Dark Yojimbo's Zanmato, Jecht knew that he couldn't win against that attack, instead of taking head on the Zanmato, Lord Braska had to summon out an Aeon to take the damage, Humans cannot be revive back after death, but Aeon can resurrect back within some time, he had thought that human won't survive after taking the Zanmato head on, and that was what he think before. And now, Jecht never expected someone can be still alive after taking the Zanmato. The person is standing in front of him, Vincent.

"…Cosmos… You sure pick the most suitable warrior…" Jecht muttered as he smirked, for knowing there's a hope. "I am amazed by you, Cosmos." Jecht then lift up his great sword and put it on his shoulder.

"Vincent-kun!" Konoka shouted as she cried in joy.

"…*Sigh*…" Shiki sighed as she happily relieved to see Vincent stood back up, despite with those absurd injuries.

Jecht laughed a bit from his joke, for that he cannot do that, otherwise he betrays Chaos if he did that, he doesn't want the other warriors of Chaos come down here and slaughter everyone. "Honestly… I didn't expect that you can survive from Zanmato, you're the first person to survive that, you know?" Jecht commented.

"…I have a mission entrusted by Lady Cosmos, and I cannot afford to lose." Vincent told.

Vincent cursed as he felt pain when he blocks the attack while his left hand gripping his large wound, this makes him uneasy moving around spilling blood everywhere, and more pain emitted as he's guarding the attack as he struggling to push the great sword back away. '…I need to wait for some time to regenerate my wounds…' Vincent thought as his wounds causing his movements disobeying him that he couldn't move freely as he wants as his legs sluggish.

"Hey! Is that all you got!?" Jecht taunted.

"Tsk…" Vincent cursed a bit as he thought of a plan. 'I need to change weapon…' Vincent thought as he planned to change his weapon right after he escaped from within Jecht's attack range. "Metal, change my weapon." Vincent commanded his weapon, his sword and the broken shield shines brightly, the broken shield changed it shape then it went to the sword and become one of it, changing the shape and becomes his Fusion Sword once again. '…Once this big wound of mine regenerated back… I will go for the second belt…' Vincent thought as he readied his stance.

"Here I come!" Jecht shouted. Vincent seeing Jecht leap toward bringing down his great sword from behind him to Vincent, Vincent then bring his sword upward to block it, and he's on his knee unable to withstand the force of impact because of his wound there.

"Ugh…!" Vincent's pain is increasing.

Then, they all seeing Dark Yojimbo draw out its regular katana and ready to fight again, knowing Vincent is in critical condition, and some more adding one more monstrosity samurai-like monster, the Dark Yojimbo charged at Vincent, and Vincent quickly unleash the one of the Side Blades from Fusion Sword, a dagger-like sword and block the attack from his left side.

"It's been 30 minutes and right now it has become the most heart racing match!" Kazumi shouted through microphone as she can feels her heart is racing.

Blocking, dodging, deflecting, attacking, and parrying would only make his blood spilled everywhere, some more his movements become sluggish caused by Dark Yojimbo's Zanmato. Everyone are worried seeing their teacher is being pushed under those heavy pressure attacks by Jecht and Dark Yojimbo, some more he had to bear the pain from his wounds caused by the Zanmato.

Eva right now is biting her lower lip till bleed for her unable to do anything as she is gripping her hands as she could only stand there watching Vincent dying on the stage there. She then attempts to up to the stage forgetting about her consequence like she never cares about the tournament, but Colonel stopped her and he points his finger toward to Vincent's face, even under those heavy pressure attacks, his face still remained calm, despite that he's being overwhelmed by two incredibly strong foes.

"Have a faith in Vincent-kun, Evangeline." Colonel told Evangeline to stay calm. Eva looked up, and then she looked back to the stage.

"…" Eva remained silent.

"…He really is amazing." Colonel started, Eva looked up at Colonel. "Bearing such a huge burden behind his back all by himself, but yet he still continues to go on despite there are many strong foes in his way." Colonel said.

"…" Eva remained quiet listening to his statement staring at Colonel before she looked back to the stage.

"I'm sure that he has many good friends that has entrusted him or something." Colonel continued as he certain of something.

Vincent is battling while struggling against two of them for few minutes, while Kazumi keep on shouting non-stop spectating three of them fighting on the stage, and his wound has regenerated back within the time, and now he's finally able to move usually as he kicked at Jecht's sword, sending Jecht away.

'…Alright… Now I can do this…' Vincent thought as he planned to unleash the second belt after thinking of the consequence, the side effect of unleashing another belt less than an hour after he released his first belt, "…Jecht, be prepared…" Vincent told as he jumped away from them as he landed on the walkway between the contestants' seats and the stage, he stabbed his Fusion Sword and the Side Blade on the ground there, and use his right thumb to drip some blood from his wound, then he lifts up his left arm showing a belt there, then he cross the blood on the second belt and chant, "Second Sealing Belt, release." Vincent then unleashed his second sealing belt as the second belt unlocked, the fighters can feel that his power is increased tremendously, even Jecht.

"…!" Jecht widen his eyes for that he didn't foresee that.

"W-what is that sudden wind pressure!?" Kazumi shouted as she covers her eyes from the wind pressure.

"…!" Eva felt a massive surge of energy from Vincent.

"…That power… is enormous…" Colonel commented as he felt. "It just his second sealing belt that can release this much of power?"

"…W-what energy…" Setsuna commented.

"…It's not Ki de-gozaru…" Kaede said as she feels the energy that she never felt before.

"Nor magic…" Negi added in.

"…I couldn't believe it…" Takahata commented as he can felt Vincent's enormous power from that dark room.

"From what I know, those belts he released are the items that limit his power." Chao stated.

"…What?" Takahata surprised.

"Get ready for the worse, Jecht." Vincent said as he lifts up his Fusion Sword and Side Blade and point at Jecht and Dark Yojimbo with his Side Blade on his left hand.

"Heh! Bring it on!" Jecht shouted as he excited.

Right now Vincent is preparing to launch an attack onto both of them, Vincent jumped and landed back onto the stage there, and at that moment the Dark Yojimbo made a sudden move as it disappeared in front of everyone's eyes, and reappeared behind Vincent as it brought up its katana from its left side trying to slash his back, but Vincent can predict that easily as he turned back and blocked the attack with ease using his Side Blade, pushing down its katana and slammed it onto the floor there, seizing its katana.

"…!" The Dark Yojimbo startled as it didn't predict that.

Vincent then rammed the Dark Yojimbo with his right shoulder, staggering the Dark Yojimbo and then Vincent lifted up his Fusion Sword horizontally and stabbed onto the Dark Yojimbo on its wound caused by the Shield of Light attack.

"…!" The Dark Yojimbo felt pain.

"Disappear." Vincent said right before he let go of his Side Blade from his left hand and two handle the Fusion Sword's handle as he going to perform one of Cloud's signature moves, the Climhazzard, by jumps upwards running with his Fusion Sword vertically along the enemy and eliminates the Dark Yojimbo, finally defeated the Dark Yojimbo as it fell on its knee on the floor there.

The moment Vincent landed back on the ground there, suddenly the Dark Yojimbo started to disappear as many Pyreflies came out of Dark Yojimbo.

"S-something happened to that samurai-like thing! They are many fireflies flew out from that!" Kazumi shouted as she seeing many pyreflies that look like fireflies.

"…?" Vincent startled a bit seeing many pyreflies flew away to the sky.

"Those things won't harm." Jecht started. "Those are like… erm…" Jecht said as he scratching his head for recalling the name back. "Ah, pyrefly."

"Pyrefly?" Vincent asked.

"In other word, a soul. That's what I know." Jecht replied.

"…" Vincent remained silent staring at the Dark Yojimbo before it disappears from their sight.

"Ah! It seems like the defeated thing has disappeared right after Vincent gave a powerful blow!" Kazumi shouted as she seeing the Dark Yojimbo is faded away.

"…" Vincent remained speechless as he faced at Jecht and readied his stance to fight on Jecht. "Now Jecht, let's not waste the time." Vincent said as he combined back the Side Blade into the Fusion Sword.

"…" Jecht remained speechless as he think of something, "Before we fight, let me ask you something." Jecht said as he wants to ask a question.

"…?" Vincent wondered.

"Why are you holding back? The moment you released those two belts erm… it's like you're holding back your power, for what reason?" Jecht asked. "Why not just fight without holding back?"

Vincent looked at Jecht before replying, "…Don't ask such a silly question, Jecht. For that they are many people around here, I couldn't go all out that easily, that you have choose this place since in the beginning, and some more, I don't think they are any places around here that can allow us to battle as we wanted, one moment the explosion occurred and everyone running around panicking, I'm sure you know this." Vincent told.

"Ah…" Jecht responded.

"…Even if there are some places we can fight, I couldn't go further unleashing more belts. The more belts I unleash, the greater the risk, this is why I cannot do that recklessly because I have a mission I need to accomplish given by Lady Cosmos." Vincent continued.

"From what Lady Cosmos told me about you, you're a fighter that likes to fight the second most for self-satisfaction." Vincent said as he starts a lecture, everyone is listening to his words. "I understand that, Jecht." Vincent said that, causing Jecht a bit confused. "The reason that why you are fighting for power." Jecht widen his eyes. "Not just you, but everyone including me. No one here wants to fight just for self-satisfaction, Jecht, and I am sure that you are fighting for a reason," Vincent paused for a moment, and Jecht knows the answer as his expression changed. "You fight for your beloved ones."

"…" Jecht remained silent, and everyone remained silent to listen to his words.

"Everyone fights… because they want to protect their beloved ones." Vincent continues right before his expression changed into melancholy. "…Yeah, I have a beloved one that I want to protect… but… in the end… I failed to protect her." Vincent continues as he looked down at his opened left hand. "…That time…I was unable to protect her… she just… being snatched away from me… I couldn't save her, because I am powerless at that time…" Vincent continues as he remembers he confront Hojo the moment he heard about Lucrecia's condition, about Hojo injected both the pregnant Lucrecia and her fetus, Sephiroth, with the Jenova's cells, that action is totally unforgivable for Vincent.

Vincent confront Hojo after he heard about Lucrecia's condition, Hojo instantly shot at Vincent in the chest and killed him, and after that, Hojo used his half dead body as test subject for experiments that involves strengthening the endurance of the human body and also metamorphosis, enabling the body to transform into various monstrous forms, and this is how Vincent obtained his Limit Breaks.

"…This is my sin… This is my punishment…" Vincent said as he clenched his left fist. "I am regretting of myself being powerless at that time…" Vincent paused for a moment before he continues, "Everyone wants a power, a power to protect their beloved ones from something that will bring greater harms, even me. For I, have given a second chance, I will not fail again." Vincent said.

"…" Jecht remained speechless before he asks something. "What are you fighting for?" This question somehow makes Negi and others wondered.

"…" Vincent remained speechless before he replies, "I fight not for myself, but for others, their hope, and future." Vincent replied. "Everyone has their hope and there are better future awaiting them, and also… For my beloved ones…" Everyone got touched by his words. "…No one can change their past, everyone has lost their beloveds in their life… even I, had failed to protect my beloved… I have failed once… But…" Vincent paused for a moment as he wields his sword properly and readied his stance facing at Jecht. "This time, I will not fail again, I will not lose my beloveds again, no matter what happen or who my enemies are, I will not let them do what they want. For I, shall stand and fight to protect my beloveds for their hope and better future." Vincent finished his words as he confessed.

Everyone are touched by his statement, spectators, Negi and others as well, including Chao as she smiled listened to his words.

Negi listened to his words, and he remembers that he wants to protect the people he cared also.

Setsuna remembers that she wants to protect her dearest persons, her princess Konoka, and also someone that is right in front of her on the stage there.

Jecht, after he heard his words, this somehow makes Jecht remembers back that he decided to become Braska's final aeon, sacrificing himself and giving up of his dream going back to his original place to see his wife and his son Tidus in his homeland Zanarkand, knowing how much struggling he went, he will still unable to go back.

And also another one, the moment when the Cosmos summons him during the conflict of the war between two gods, Cosmos the Goddess of Harmony and the other one is Chaos the God of Discord, he sees his son was on the dark side of the Chaos. When his son Tidus is in the dying state after taking attack for Yuna (Final Fantasy 10) from the Emperor, he passes his light of Cosmos onto Tidus to save his son, sacrificing his own self giving himself into the Chaos's side. He had no interest in serving Chaos, but he cannot do any actions that betray the Chaos, and also he could fight only on the Emperor Mateus's words, saying that he and his son Tidus will be allowed to return home when the war ends. Jecht continues to follow his bidding, he then remembers Golbez once warns him about the Emperor was only using him, the Emperor had no intention to doing that so. Going back to his homeland is impossible for him, but he accepted that as his fate.

"…" Jecht remained speechless as he recalls back everything he could remember. "…Heh…" Jecht smirked as he readied his stance. "Alright Vincent, this is it. Time is short and we are going to end this, I am going to do this." Jecht told Vincent.

"…?" Vincent wondered, and then he realized that Jecht is going to use his trump card.

Then suddenly, Vincent felt a powerful energy surging from within Jecht as his power is increasing tremendously, a light shines brightly on him, everyone take cover their eyes to avoid being blinded, the moment the light dies down, his appearance is changing also as he is transforming into much more powerful version as a very powerful aura drawing out from him. Negi and others can feel his power is increased tremendously, and Jecht is not someone that they can win easily. Everyone was surprised, seeing Jecht suddenly transformed into something, his hair color turned into white, his whole skin becomes darken and thicker, and many spikes came out on his back and his expression changed into menacing.

"Let's finish this!" Jecht's voice becomes deeper as he taunted.

"W-w-what! The contestant Jecht's appearance suddenly changed into something else!" Kazumi shouted as she can felt a powerful aura.

"…Now that kind of power isn't joking…" Colonel stated as he can felt too, the power isn't something that they couldn't win.

"…" Shiki shocked as she can felt a powerful surge of energy coming from Jecht, even with her Mystic Eyes she couldn't even win, and this is like an ant trying to win an elephant. Now she felt herself a powerless being.

Vincent can felt Jecht's power is increasing and also, the most serious fight is about to start, both warriors readied their stance, and everyone is watching intently, even the judges. Both of them charged simultaneously and together with their left fist clashed onto each other's face, staggering each other before they recovers back and started exchanging attacks with swords, punches and kicks. Each attack can shake the whole place causing spectators can't stand well in their position as the whole place shaking up.

"W-w-w-w-wowww! Th-this is something amazing! The both forces are exchanging hits and it could cause the whole place trembling! L-like an inhuman battle!" Kazumi shouted as she trying to stand still from the ground shake, everyone is still standing in their own place as they are now watching a powerful and very intense fight right now.

"N-now that is way too awesome!" Kotarou exclaimed as the shockwave from each blow blew on them, Negi and others are covering themselves from the shockwave.

"The earlier fight was just a warm up, and right now this is the serious fight." Colonel stated as he covering his face using his sleeve of his cloak.

Both forces suddenly stopped and jumped away as they are exhausted bleeding with injuries of hits from punches and kicks, "…This is it, Vincent! I'm going to finish this in one shot!" Jecht shouted as he suddenly jumped up to the sky and readying his ultimate technique, the Ultimate Jecht Shot, and Vincent can predict that Jecht is preparing a powerful attack, not as much like Zanmato but it could bring a devastating result.

Something shocked them all, they could see Jecht lift up his right hand, Eva and others can feel something incredibly powerful and huge is coming down from the sky as she's sweating nervously. They seeing a meteor suddenly came out of the sky there coming down like a shot down airplane engulfed with fire, Jecht caught the meteor with his right hand and throw it up right before he jumped and spun himself before he kicks the meteor to increase the destructive power and its speed.

"O-o-o-o-oh my god! There's a meteor is coming down toward to the stage where the contestant Vincent is standing there! Some more this is a serious situation here! A meteor!" Kazumi shouted panicking.

"S-s-seriously!? A meteor!?" Kotarou exclaimed.

He is right now gathering his strength to his right leg, preparing to kick the incoming meteor, the moment the meteor coming approaches the stage, everyone was staring at the meteor with fear, Vincent then jumped toward to the incoming meteor with his Fusion Sword readied on his right hand, "I'm going to return this meteor back to you, Jecht!" Vincent shouted as he spun himself to increase the momentum power and kicked the meteor with his right leg with his might, sending back the meteor to Jecht.

"W-w-wow! The contestant Vincent sent back the meteor with a kick! This is something that I can hardly describe it out!" Kazumi shouted.

"What!?" Jecht didn't foresee this would happen seeing the meteor he just kicked that and now it's coming back toward to him. Vincent then jumped again heading toward where the meteor is heading. Jecht grabbed the meteor with his bare hand, but then, the meteor suddenly being cut and split into half, seeing Vincent was behind the meteor there readying his Fusion Sword as the Fusion Sword suddenly shines brightly from inside of his sword, and now he is going to perform Cloud's ultimate Limit Break, the Omnislash Version 5.

'…Cloud, I'm going to borrow your strength here…' Vincent thought as the Fusion Sword suddenly disassembled in an instant, the five auxiliary swords are ejected upwards from the main blade in a form of a circle around Jecht, and Jecht was startled by that. The main sword flew to float above Jecht as the other auxiliary swords circling around them. Vincent then flies forward and grabs one of the five auxiliary swords, as he grabbed it and dashed towards to Jecht and slice at him. After that, he repeated again by grabbing another auxiliary blade and continues it four times, slicing Jecht with each auxiliary sword, each slice create a shockwave, and also each time Vincent dashes to take hold of another sword, an energy created silhouette of himself is left in place holding the previous used sword.

And for the finishing blow, Vincent flies above Jecht as he takes hold of the main sword and descends for the final attack, right before the final strike connects, the other five silhouettes attack an extra time.

"This is the end, Jecht." Vincent said the final words to Jecht right before he gave Jecht the final blow, causing a large and powerful shockwave unleashed as the strike connects, trembling the sky and the ground at the same time.

Vincent landed down on the floor there unharmed despite that he's falling right from the sky around 200 meters from the ground, then the five auxiliary swords are landed around him together with the silhouettes holding the auxiliary swords forming a pentagon shape, right at the moment when Vincent grabbed the main sword that landed on his right hand, the silhouettes disappears as Vincent staring at the sky there. '…Now this is quite difficult to use…' Vincent thought of the usage difficulty of Omnislash technique.

Eva and others are awed and amazed by that move as they can felt that move is extremely powerful, such a small and for only a single target, but it was a very devastating and lethal attack.

Her voice echoing in Vincent's mind, others couldn't see or hear but him as he seeing Aerith as she turns around and walks away and disappeared. Vincent just stares at where Aerith disappeared, and he smiles.

A moment later, Jecht landed and crashed onto the stage just right beside him badly injured, as well his appearance returned back to usual.

"*Cough* *Cough*" Jecht coughed out some blood, and panting. "Huh… huh…" Jecht started to breathe hard. "Ha… ha ha… Seems like I have lost…" Jecht said as he knows the condition.

"T-The contestant Jecht is down right now! I will start a countdown now!" Kazumi announced as she starts to count.

"Vincent…" Jecht calls, Vincent looked back down at Jecht. "It seems like I have no more worry anymore about you and Cosmos, your capabilities have proved it… you're worth it to take on Chaos…" Vincent walks beside him kneeling down.

Jecht is taking out something from his pocket, and throw it to Vincent. "Here… take it." Jecht said as he threw something to Vincent, and Vincent caught the object from Jecht, Vincent looked at it and wondered.

"What is this?" Vincent asked.

"…It's a Sphere from my world…" Jecht answered. "It's a device that allow us to record down anything… created through taking water infused with pyreflies like what you see just now… *Cough* ah… what the heck… I don't know how to answer further…" Jecht lie down on the floor in his relaxed form, staring at the blue sky there.

"…" Vincent remained quiet staring at the Sphere that he received, and he put it into his inventory pocket.

Kazumi announced the winner of the match as she checks her watch, and everyone cheered at him loudly. Chao sighed relieved to see her teacher won the match.

"Vincent-nii-san! YEAH!" Kotarou shouted loudly.

"Vincent/-kun/-sensei!" The girls shouted loudly his name at him as they are glad to see Vincent won the hellish match.

"Now I can trust you for defeating the Chaos." Jecht said as he smirked before he coughs out some blood.

"…Need a hand?" Vincent asked as he offers his hand to Jecht, but then, he stopped his movement as he felt another powerful presence coming close by. "…!" Vincent alerted as he quickly look around his surroundings. Then, he looked back in front of him as he sensed the presence appeared near Jecht, seeing a tall imposing man in his dark blue and black armor with gold trimmings, a helmet with tall unparalleled horns, with a cape of red and blue linings, standing beside Jecht.

Everyone got jumped and shocked to see a person appeared sudden, Eva and others felt that being is powerful, much powerful. Vincent looked up at the mysterious presence, but then, he felt there's no hostility from that.

"…" Vincent remained silent as he feels he know the name of this man, "…You're Golbez, right?" Vincent asked as he confidently knows that this mysterious one is not going to have a fight at here.

"…Correct, and I guess… Cosmos told you about us." Golbez answered with his deep voice, and Vincent nodded.

"Ugh…" Jecht responded as he seeing Golbez drawn this close. "…Didn't notice you're nearby…" Jecht said.

"Hmph…" Golbez responded before he kneel down and carry Jecht and put him on his right shoulder. Golbez then looked at Vincent, "Vincent, right?" Golbez asked to confirm, and Vincent nodded. "You did some good amount of damage on him, seems like Cosmos has choose a strong and powerful warrior." Golbez commented, and he noticed Vincent has received the Sphere from Jecht. "And I can see that you have received the message, means Jecht trusted you."

"…Correct, he wants to test my strength, and I have proved it." Vincent replied.

"Vincent, seems like we have gathered here, this would be the chance for me to tell you something." Golbez stated something, and Vincent wondered as he going to listen. "Like what Cosmos told you about us, Jecht and I are not interested in Chaos's scheme, and also we have been labeled as the traitors." This caused Vincent surprised.

"…Traitors?" Vincent asked.

"They know that Jecht and I are going to help you secretly from shadow, and they have labeled us as the traitors for helping you." Golbez stated that the risk they took.

"…" Vincent remained silent.

"Do not worry about us, for they won't be able to find us easily for that I am the master of darkness that I can hide ourselves from their detections." Golbez continued. "And we will support you from the shadow."

"…I can see that, Vincent …" Lady Cosmos thanked Vincent for helping her of the causes. Vincent can notice that her voice that she is worried. He knows Lady Cosmos was watching his gruesome battle against Jecht and the Dark Yojimbo just now.

"Take some rest, Vincent. That you have unleashed the second belt in less than an hour."

"…Yeah… Best don't see me in that state when that happens, Lady Cosmos." The communication cuts off. Vincent doesn't want Lady Cosmos to see him in pain. "Come, Vincent-kun, you need to go to infirmary de-gozaru." Kaede said as she uses her shoulder to help Vincent stood up by placing his right hand onto her shoulder.

Vincent stood up as Kaede supporting her up, "…Sorry about this, Kaede…" Vincent apologized. They are walking slowly to the infirmary supporting Vincent, Takane and Mei seeing their teacher walks away toward to the infirmary with great injuries. Then, they all hear spectators are saying something to Vincent as well.

"Vincent-sensei! Your speech just now… that was nice!" They are touched after listening to his speech. His speech somehow motivated them a lot.

"Take care, Vincent-s-sensei." Nodoka said stuttered with care before she follows Yue, and Haruna went with them as three of them exit the infirmary.

"Vincent-kun, please take care." Chizuru said as she stood up from her seat.

"Thank you." Vincent thanked as Chizuru went to the door and exit the infirmary. After four of them went out, Vincent stated something as he went to the topic related to the magic. "With my regeneration, my wounds will be heal within some time, though as not as quick like Eva. But still I can feel the pains."

"You could just use your healing ability, nii-san." Kotarou said right before Shiki smack on his head. "Ouch! What was that for, Shiki-nee-san!?" Kotarou asked touching the bump on his head.

"No, Kotarou, what she did was right." Colonel stepped in. "He has some reasons that he couldn't use the healing ability." Colonel help explains.

"A-Asuna-san!" Negi cried like a child as he's being called an idiot.

"Negi." Vincent calls, and Negi looked at him. "Later will be your next match, right?" Vincent said, and Negi nodded. "Try not to use any magic skills, can you? Such as summoning many magic spheres on your side, that one."

"…Erm… why?" Negi wondered.

"Because I hear a lot of gossips and rumors about the magic that you and others used before, like Takahata's magic cannon punch, Colonel's recklessness assaults with gravity attacks, Kaede's unlimited clones, Kotarou's black hounds, Negi's spiral strikes, these sources are from the outside as I can hear through the internet." Vincent replied. "The rumors about the magic spreading in the internet, the whole situation will become bad if the magic managed to spread out to the entire world." I have no interest about the winning prize of 10 million yen, it serves me no purpose." Vincent continued.

Eva now realized that Colonel is wants to understand Vincent's capabilities by fighting him and understands Vincent's movement to installs everything about Vincent's capabilities into his artifact, allowing Albireo/Colonel to use his ability in future.

Shiki drawn out her knife and put it on her right shoulder there.

"…Just exactly… what do you think you're doing…?" Shiki asked with her menacing tone, as well with her Mystic Eyes. Everyone surprised seeing Shiki drawn her weapon toward to the most powerful vampire in the Mahora, with a knife.

Eva looked over her shoulder at Shiki, "…This is none of your business, girl." Eva replied as she ignores her menacing expression.

"…What?" Shiki angered. Then, the kids' fight started as they are step away from Vincent for don't want to disturb him. Asuna holding back Evangeline as Setsuna is holding back Shiki preventing both of them clashing each other, and the others just sweat-dropped seeing both side fighting.

"…" Vincent remained quiet while sleeping, he's fully aware of his surroundings, even in his sleep. Few minutes later, they all heard Kazumi announcing something.

"The stage has been fully repaired! For the round two, third match, we have contestant Negi Springfield versus contestant Takane D. Goodman! Contestants, please step up the stage!" Kazumi announced to everyone. Vincent opened up his eyes as he gets up from his bed.

"Vincent-kun, how's your resting?" Setsuna asked.

"Still alright, my wounds are started regenerating back." Vincent replied. "So, Negi's match is up. Shall we go watch?" Vincent asked.

"Alright, Vincent-nii-san!" Kotarou replied, and the others nodded as they follow.

Vincent and others are walking toward to the contestants' seats, Shiki and others are gone back to their seats. Along his way there are many spectators are cheering at Vincent for his spectacular performance on his match just now.

They see Takane calls at Negi with her hysterical laugh. "Negi-sensei!" Takane calls and Negi turns around, seeing Takane walking toward to him. "The time for me to punish you has finally come!" Takane said.

"T-Takane-san!?" Negi surprised, and he's worried what skills Takane will perform.

"…" Vincent noticed Takane's expression is serious and won't stop no matter what. '…Okay… now this is bad, she won't listen to what Negi said.' Then, Vincent noticed Takane looked at him and she walks toward to him, with a folded red cape on her hand.

"V-Vincent-sensei. Thank you for the cape from before." Takane thanked as she gave back his red cape to Vincent. Vincent received back his red cape from Takane.

"Thank you, Takane." Vincent thanked at Takane with a smile, causing Takane blushed before she looked back at Negi.

"Regarding to your match with Takahata-sensei, truthfully speaking, I was shocked by seeing your skills and unbending willpower…" Takane confessed as she was awed seeing Negi's match an hour ago. "But! That's that, and this is this!" Takane continued. "I, the Shadow User Takane, will bring out my most powerful close range battle mode, and confront you seriously!"

"Oh dear…" Colonel heard what Takane said.

"And also I will prove my strength to you to let me see how capable I am in order for me to help Vincent-sensei!" Takane continued as she clenched her fist, Vincent somehow didn't expect that kind of statement, and he feels glad that there are some people who can support him up, such as Takane right now.

"Y-Yes! At this rate, we'll be rounded up and turned into ermines as punishment for exposing magic…!" Negi added on as he can imagine that he, Mei and Takane will be turned into ermine like Chamo.

"Hawawawawa! W-what do we do!?" Mei panicked.

'…If that really happened… I could save them by casting Dispel magic… instantly nullify the hex magic…' Vincent thought.
