I am on the wiki as Hiyuusha, yes.
"I'm activating the effect of the card I just sent to the Graveyard." Frigg said. "Due to its ability, by returning one card from my hand to the top of my Deck, my Plaguespreader Zombie can revive itself from the Grave!"
She did just that after smiling for a moment, and seconds later, a large, purple being rose from the ground with a snarl.
Plaguespreader Zombie - (DARK/Zombie/Tuner) - LV2 - (400/200)
"That card...it's a Tuner monster...!" Konami noted, and Frigg smiled.
"Yes. And I'll be using it soon, but first, there a few more preparations to make. Preparations that will be sped along by the power of Instant Fusion!"
She revealed the card in her hand before placing it on her Duel Disk, prompting a larger hologram of it to appear on the Field.
"With this card, I can sacrifice One Thousand Life Points." Frigg explained. "Then, as its name implies, I can Special Summon one Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck, so long as that Fusion Monster's Level is not above Five! Now, please, give a warm welcome to...Reaper on the Nightmare!"
Spirit Reaper snarled angrily as he appeared on the Field, grasping the unholy reins of the infernal Nightmare Horse as if his life depended on it. Together as one, the two monsters roared at Konami and his dragon, prompting Mystletainn to growl back in response.
Reaper on the Nightmare - (DARK/Zombie/Fusion) - LV5 - (800/600)
"Of course, my fun doesn't end there." Frigg continued. "Before this Duel can truly get going, I need to increase one of my monster's Levels. Luckily, my Spell Card Synchro Boost will help me do just that! With it, my Plaguespreader Zombie will not only rise from a Level Two to a Level Three Tuner Monster, but it will gain an additional Five Hundred Attack Points as well!"
The purple zombie moaned as a glowing white aura overcame its form, and its body slowly began to grow, and its abilities grew with it.
Plaguespreader Zombie - (DARK/Zombie) - LV3 - (900/200)
"Now, the stage is set." Frigg said with a smirk. "It's time to show you...what my kind of duel is like! I'm tuning my Level Five Reaper on the Nightmare with my Level Three Plaguespreader Zombie!"
Konami watched with wary eyes as the familiar green sigils circled around Frigg's Fusion Monster. Slowly, the Reaper on the Nightmare faded into five shining stars, but as the sigils and stars collided, a sickly black aura was born - and with it, a dark chant.
"When the shadows are enveloped by even darker shadows, the curtain pulls back to reveal...a world without light!" Frigg chanted, raising a silver card high above her head as she spoke. "Synchro Summon! Dye this world black...Dark End Dragon!"
She slammed the card onto her Duel Disk, and the black aura erupted, taking on the form of a large black dragon. Despite already being intimidating, the powerful creature bore a second upon its chest, one whose appearance alone spoke volumes of the despair it wished to cause. The Dark End Dragon opened its fierce jaws and roared.
Dark End Dragon - (DARK/Dragon/Synchro) - LV8 - (2600/2100)
"Dark End Dragon's effect activates." Frigg said. "Once per turn, by decreasing its Attack and Defense Points by Five Hundred, I can send one monster you control to the Graveyard! Dark End Dragon, remove Mystletainn from my sight! Despair Eater!"
Roaring once again, the black dragon's second face began to open, unveiling the endless vacuum of darkness inside. A whirlwind suddenly swept out from within, and though Mystletainn tried to fight against it, Dark End Dragon was simply too powerful. With a single gulp Mystletainn was engulfed whole, and the second face closed, returning to its grinning demeanor.
"Augh! What the-? Mystletainn...!"
Dark End Dragon - (DARK/Dragon/Synchro) - LV8 - (2100/1600)
Frigg smirked a little. "You're defenseless now. Dark End Dragon, Armageddon Knight! Attack him directly!"
Konami's eyes went wide, and he glanced upward just in time to watch as the two monster's unleashed a powerful assault upon him. An explosion of black energy erupted around his form, and he cried out before staggering backward, unwilling to fall just yet.

"Do you see now?" Frigg inquired. "This is the difference between you and I. This is the difference...between one who has only just learned of Synchro Summoning, and one who has been using it nearly all her life!"
Konami clenched his hand, knowing that if he didn't do something soon, his chance at grasping victory, and getting Jaden help, would vanish into dust.

Arc Three - Chapter Five
Hope
"With this, my Turn is ended." Frigg said. "So, what will you do now, I wonder?"
"There's only one thing to do!" Konami exclaimed. "And that's draw, like my life depends on it!"
Frigg smiled softly. "Oh my. It would seem you really are as dramatic as Freyja claims. Very well. Give it your best shot. I'll take on your greatest strength with all of mine!"
"I wouldn't expect anything less from a fellow duelist." replied Konami. "But for my comrade, I definitely won't lose! My Turn! Draw!"
TURN FOUR - KONAMI - FOUR CARDS
"I'm activating the Spell Card Monster Reborn!" Konami shouted, revealing the card of resurrection before placing it upon the Field. A large hologram of a shining ankh appeared then, only to shatter seconds later and reveal a familiar form - that of Konami's Dragunity Arma - Mystletainn.
Dragunity Arma Mystletainn - (WIND/Dragon) - LV6 - (2100/1500)
"Hm...reviving your strongest monster then? You realize that its Attack Points are the same as my Dark End Dragon's?" Frigg asked.
"Yeah, but Mystletainn's only a stepping stone." Konami said. "You've shown me your version of Synchro Summoning. Now...it's time I showed you mine! I summon Dragunity Aklys to the Field in Attack Position!"
The long red dragon clad in silver scales hissed weakly as it appeared in a flash. It circled around Mystletainn wildly, before coming to stop to glare at Frigg's two monsters.
Dragunity Aklys - (WIND/Dragon/Tuner) - LV2 - (1000/800)
'I don't have any more monsters...' Konami thought as he glanced at his hand. 'No choice then! I'll go all-in!'
"I'm Tuning my Level Six Dragunity Arma Mystletainn with my Level Two Dragunity Aklys!" he shouted, prompting the two to create the same sigil and stars Frigg had produced one turn prior. Merging together, the star sigils transformed into a long, serpentine-like form, complete with a strange green aura. Konami chose that moment to speak.
"Rising winds become a raging torrent! Let the power of union bring you to victory! Synchro Summon! Spread your wings, Dragunity Knight - Barcha!"
The serpent-shaped aura shattered at that, and with a fierce roar, a large purple dragon clad in black and green scales appeared. It crashed upon the Field wildly, and allowed its rider, the skilled Angusticlavii, to arm his bow.
Dragunity Knight Barcha - (WIND/Dragon) - LV8 - (2000/1200)
"Hm? Now why would you go and do something like that?" Frigg asked. "Your new monster has even less Attack Points than your Mystletainn did!"
"Maybe, but it won't stay that way for long." Konami explained. "Like the other Dragunity Monsters you've seen so far, Barcha here has a special effect! When he's Synchro Summoned, I can equip as many Dragon-Type Dragunity Monsters in my Graveyard to him, and then he gains Three Hundred Attack Points for each one! I'm equipping my Dragunity Aklys, Dragunity Arma - Mystletainn, and Dragunity Darkspear to Barcha! That's three Dragon-Type monsters, which means that his Attack Points rise by Nine Hundred!"
The hulking green dragon roared as the three dragons reappeared behind him, each giving him even more power than before.
Dragunity Knight Barcha - (WIND/Dragon) - LV8 - (2900/1200)
"Now Barcha, attack her Armageddon Knight! Unity Stream!" Konami shouted, thrusting his hand forward in unison with his shout. His dragon responded to his feelings and released a swirling wave of green lightning from its jaws, easily engulfing Frigg's dark warrior and sending it to the Graveyard with a mighty blow.

FRIGG - 1500 LP
"Urk...!" Frigg hissed, shielding her eyes from the cloud of dust that followed the attack. "So that was your plan...but you've miscalculated! By attacking Armageddon Knight instead of my Dark End Dragon, I can just my monster's effect next turn to send your Barcha to the Graveyard!"
"Not quite! I still have another card to play - Heavy Storm!" Konami shouted, revealing the green Spell before sliding it into his Duel Disk to activate its effect.
"What?!" Frigg gasped, her eyes widening even as the brewing winds began to whip around the Field. "But why?! Using that, you'll only wind up destroying your own equip spells, no, even more than that - you'll weaken your own monster!"
"True, but if that's what it takes to destroy your Dark End Dragon, then so be it!" Konami replied. "Mystletainn and Darkspear may be destroyed along with him, but when he goes, my Dragunity Aklys' second effect will activate!"
"What?!"
"That's right." said Konami. "You see, when he's sent to the Graveyard while having been equipped to a monster, my Dragunity Aklys allows me to destroy one card on the Field, and I think we both know which one it'll be! Go Aklys! Take Dark End Dragon with you - Unity Spear!"
With a pained warcry, the tiny red dragon surged forward and pierced through Dark End's second face. The larger black dragon roared as a wide hole suddenly blew through its chest, and seconds later it shattered, joining Armageddon Knight in the Graveyard.
Frigg scowled at the sight. "My monsters, you destroyed them both in a single turn! But don't forget, with your Dragunity Monsters gone, your Dragunity Knight - Barcha returns to having only Two Thousand Attack Points!"
"A small price to pay to clear your Field." Konami replied. "I'll lay one card face-down, and end my Turn."
"My move. Draw!" Frigg shouted.
TURN FIVE - FRIGG - THREE CARDS
"I'm activating an effect from my hand!" she said. "Vice Dragon! When my opponent controls a monster while I do not, I can Special Summon it, but its Attack and Defense Points will be halved!"
The bulky gray dragon growled as it rose from the floor and flapped its wings. Its body was surprisingly small, but Konami supposed that was due to the latter half of its effect.
Vice Dragon - (DARK/Dragon) - LV5 - (1000/1200)
"Next, I'll Normal Summon my Dark Tinker in Attack Mode!" Frigg continued.
A small, multiple-armed figure appeared at her calling, and it grinned wildly in delight while swishing a pair of cleaved weapons through the air.
Dark Tinker - (DARK/Fiend/Tuner) - LV2 - (1000/1300)
Konami felt his teeth clench. "Another Tuner Monster...don't tell me you're planning on Synchro Summoning again?!"
Frigg's lips curled upward into a smirk. "That's right. What, were you not expecting it? I am a Synchro Duelist. Being able to summon high-power monsters in a single turn...is what I live for! Now, I'm Tuning my Level Five Vice Dragon with my Level Two Dark Tinker!"
Two green sigils appeared on the Field alongside four shining stars, and for a third time that duel, a Synchro Summon was performed.
"When shadows are not enough, the ruler of darkness appears! Come now, and from out of chaos! Synchro Summon! Appear, Chaos King Archfiend!"
A dark figure with burning hair slowly materialized in the center of the Field. Several boned figures protruded from its arms and back, and upon its face, a pair of gleaming eyes could be seen. Pillars of flame erupted around it violently, and it balled its fists, as if knowing that its time to fight would come soon.
Chaos King Archfiend - (DARK/Fiend) - LV7 - (2600/2600)
"Chaos King Archfiend's effect activates!" Frigg shouted. "When it declares an attack, the Attack and Defense Points of all face-up monsters you control are switched! Not that it matters. With this, my victory is assured! Chaos King Archfiend, attack Dragunity Knight Barcha!"
Konami grimaced at the command. He had known from the second the monster had appeared that it would attack. Its strength was already beyond that of Barcha's. Even without its strange effect, the damage dealt would have been more than enough to wipe out his Life Points. But then...that was why he'd laid that face-down.
"Sorry, but in attacking my Barcha, the only victory you've assured is mine!" Konami shouted in response. "I'm activating my face-down card - Magic Cylinder! This will not only negate your Chaos King Archfiend's attack, but inflict damage to you equal to your monster's Attack Points, which is more Life Points than you have to spare! Sorry, but it looks like this duel...is mine!"
"Don't be so sure." Frigg replied. A smug expression was on her face at the declaration, even as the Magic Cylinder's blinding wave rushed toward her. "You see Konami, I've dueled many people in my time. I've experienced all kinds of cards, and from those experiences, I've created a Deck best suited to me. But that doesn't mean that I didn't make sure to include cards that'd stop silly Staples like yours! You claim this duel is yours? Think again! I'm activating my Quick-Play Spell Card - Spell of Pain! With this, any effect damage I'd take will be redirected back to you, which means the Twenty Six Hundred Points of damage coming out of my Life Points...will be coming out of yours instead!"
"W-What?!" Konami exclaimed, unable to believe that one of his favorite Traps had such a counter. "That can't be!"
"You're finished! Spell of Pain, do your thing! Avada Kedavra!"
A sickly green light washed over the Field, and Konami cried out as his Life Points reached zero.
KONAMI - 0 LP
FRIGG - 1500 LP
The lights and holograms of the Duel Field faded, and Konami crashed his hand to his podium in defeat.
"Shit...Shit...! Despite it all...Jaden, I'm sorry..."
"There is no need to apologize." Frigg said, approaching whilst deactivating her Duel Disk. "Your loss today was a result of your inexperience, nothing more."
"Maybe...but because of that inexperience...Jaden's sight...ooh."
Staggering backward, Konami rubbed his forehead as his vision began to swim. It was too much. The pressure, the burden. It was only a matter of time until it overcame him, and finally, it seemed as though it had. With one last grumble of insatisfaction, he collapsed to the floor, unconscious.
-Scene Break-
He awoke some time later, in the comfort of a surprisingly large bed. His head was throbbing, perhaps from hitting it as he fell, but despite that, he still felt remarkably refreshed. It was as if everything was clear to him now, almost like...
...he had seen the light.
Just kidding.
Had you fooled for a second though, didn't I?
"Awake already? My, you certainly weren't out for very long, were you?" Frigg asked as she entered the room.
"What happened?" Konami asked with a frown. "Where's Jaden?"
"I sent your friend on his way. Though your sudden blackout did come as a surprise to me, our deal remained firm. Jaden Yuki will remain ignorant to the secrets of this store. That being said, I did not let him leave with nothing. His journey is now one with a clear destination, but it is one that he must make alone."
"...So what you're saying is...he ditched me." Konami grumbled. "Jeez, how long was I out for?"
"Only a couple of hours." Frigg said softly. "Before he left, Jaden wished for me to thank you for your help when you awoke. He seemed...most grateful."
"Yeah well, he shouldn't be." Konami grunted. "I failed him. He was counting on me, and I lost when it mattered most. I seem to be doing that a lot lately..."
"Best to make the mistakes now, while you're still young." Frigg replied.
"Best not to make the mistakes at all." Konami grimaced.
"Perhaps..." Frigg agreed. "However, if you make no mistakes, how will you grow as a person? It is both our failures and successes that make us who we are today."
"And if you don't like who you are?" Konami wondered.
Frigg smiled softly. "Then know that you have time to change yourself. You are young, after all. Better to realize your faults now, than when you're old and fragile. Alas, I didn't come here to discuss such things with you. I merely wished to inform you that those cards you used...Dragunities, they do not fit one such as you."
Konami's eyes narrowed in confusion. "And just what is that supposed to mean?"
"It's means that your Deck is not your own." Frigg explained. "Why Alina and Freyja allowed you to leave with it I do not know, but I am aware that you specialize in dragons as a whole. Why limit yourself to a single archetype, when you have access to so much more?"
"Because a new perspective on things was necessary. Evolution was necessary."
"Why?" Frigg asked.
"Because I'm a duelist. Evolving one's deck is what we are meant to do."
"Evolve, yes. But then, from what I've seen, you haven't evolved your Deck for quite some time." Frigg mused. "You've made many promises, Konami. If you truly wish to strengthen your dueling, then maybe, just maybe, it'd do you some good to see them through."
Konami blinked in confusion at the words. What was Frigg saying, he'd made many promises? Who in the world would he have made promises to-
Oh.
Oh.
Realizing what the woman meant, Konami frowned, and fixed her with a wary glare.
"Who are you? How do you know these things?"
"Go back to school, Konami." Frigg said instead, dodging the subject entirely. "Jaden will be fine. Right now, the ones left behind are the ones who need you most."
She stepped outside at that, leaving Konami to his thoughts.
