"Because no-one really knows what's going to happen your future, Gabriella." He told her.
"Neither do I know what's going to happen to me in the future." She stated him.
"The only person that would know..." He said, trailing off.
"Would be Alice." She said, finishing it of for him.
"So, do you ever wonder if you should do a funeral for Tommy?" He asked.
"Yes," she said. "but you could help me, if you want to."
"Of course I want to." He replied. "I just need to think first."
Then she giggled, a little.
"Ha, ha," he said. "very funny."
"Did you ever know that with you?" She said. "It's easier than it used to be."
"I do," he said, smiling. "I do know that it's easier than it used to be. Before I even met you, it was easier."
Mama, told me not to waste my life,

"I know." She said, grinningly.
"How's comes we were never together in the first place?" He questioned her.
"Probably, because you always admired my sister, Bella. After she died, even her daughter died." she answered him.
"Yeah," he said. "that is 'probably' why we were never together."
"But now, you got me." She stated him.
"You know when you first started your first day of school," he said. "I never apologised for I did to you that day."
"Edward," she said. "I forgave you for what you did that day." Then she stroked his hair.
"No-one could ever hurt you, Gabriella." He said, kissing her lips.
"I believe that no-one 'could' ever hurt me." she replied. "Because I've got you."
"And I swore to protect you." He added for her.
"I know," she said. "I did."
"Have you ever imagined how beautiful you are?" He asked and she nodded 'no'.
"No," she said. "not really."
"Well, to me," he said. "you are beautiful and, you light up the world like no-body else does."
"I didn't know that." She said, gratefully.

"Of course," he said. "you didn't."
"You know that day we met," she said, as he nodded his head. "Chad got Taylor in detention with him. But after those few days. They learnt to get along with each other, before they even hated each other. For doing the wrong things."
"That was before we came," he said. "and your just telling me this now?"
"Because I thought you already knew." She said, glumly.
"Well, I know that now." He said, as he kissed her fore-head and went to stand by the window.
"So, how did you learn how to get along with me?" She asked him, with a smile.
"Because I knew I was wrong," he said. "and I've tried going back down that road. Trying to get you back to safety and I guessed that you wouldn't have come back. It was almost going to appear like, you were just a dream to me."
"You loved from the moment we met?" She asked confused.
"Of course," he said. "I do."
"I wish we both were together from the start of the year." She said, getting up from the couch.
"Carlisle said that you shouldn't be standing up." He reminded her and she sat back down.
"Because I was dizzy," she said. "that's why he told you that I couldn't walk."

"We are worried about you more than ever," he replied. "even after your boyfriend died, by being murdered, by a criminal."
"I know," she said, "your worried about me. But why?"
"Because we saw you in Las Angeles." He replied. "But that probably doesn't even matter. Because your with us now and that's the way it should be."
"And it should be that way forever." She said.
Then, Alice came into the room to speak with Edward.
"Edward, can I talk to you in private?" She asked, as they both walked out into the hallway.
"Sure." he said. "What is it you wanted to tell me?"
"In the next few days," she told him. "Gabriella is going to die. But she could still become one of us."
"I know," he said. "she is."
"Do you know that once she's turned that she'll be one of us?" She asked.
"Of course I knew that she'll be one of us." He said, obviously he already knew that she 'was' going to be one of them forever.
"So, did you come up with an idea on how to keep her alive?" She asked him.
"No." he said. "But I'm thinking of a solution for her."
"A solution to keep her alive?" She questioned.
"Never mind, Alice." He said and saw Gabriella faster asleep on the couch, then decided to sit next to her.

"I think she's tired." Alice said.
"I know," he whispered, while she was asleep on the couch.
"Do think there is any time left for her?" A voice said, standing behind Alice.
"Maybe, Carlisle." she said. "But she must get some rest for the entire day."
"She must be so tired from waking up last night." He replied.
"How did you know?" She asked, confused.
"Because she told me that she had a dream about Tommy." he said. "But I must admit, she did really well today."
"That poor girl," he said, in surprise. "she must have screamed from it."
"Of course she screamed." He notified him. "But she seems to be alright now."
"You've been thinking of her, ever since she's got here," She said. "haven't you?"
"Of course I have." Edward said, amused by Alice's surprise.
"I truly was right." she said. "You have moved passed Bella swan, but why?"
"Because Gabriella discovered that I was always in love with her from the start," he replied to her. "But she truly always didn't know that Troy was already loving Sharpay Evans. Before she even came to East High."
"Why would he lie to her like that?" She asked.
"Because he truly didn't know what was going on at the time. But everyone always knew what was going on. Between the both of them." He said, in reply.
I'm not listening

Then all three of them, let out a sigh.
"Gabriella has always suffered because Sarah and Sled always wanted to kill her." Alice said. "But it never stopped her from dying. She lived because of you and Tommy, Edward. She trusts you more than ever."
"I know," he said. "she does."
"I have a feeling that it's going to be a long week for all of us." Carlisle said to Alice.
"Indeed it is." Alice said, in his surprise.
Later that day, Carlisle and Edward went to check up on Gabriella, who presumed to be faster asleep. "Did you actually know that day when I first realised that I loved her and that she was the right one for me, after she left for Las Angeles?"
"Yes," he said. "I truly did know that."
"Carlisle, how long is this going to go on?" He asked him.
"I don't know." he repeated. "I just don't know, Edward."
"If you don't know, then I'll just leave you to it." He said, leaving Carlisle on his own to deal with Gabriella.
'Now what am I going to do with you?' He thought to himself, as he checked on Gabriella's heart rate.
"Carlisle, Edward's gone on a hunt with Jasper and Emmet." Rosalie said, sitting down on a sofa across from Gabriella.
"Of course," he said. "He has."
"Does she ever think of watching the stars at night with Edward?" She asked, with a whisper.
"I bet she does." He said, sarcastically.
"Does she know that vampires have gifts?" She asked.

"I don't know," he said. "I haven't quite worked out the details yet."
"Oh, okay." She said and walked away, then she went to find Jasper, who was waiting for her.
"Dad, do you know where Esme is?" Edward asked, coming into the living room.
"I clearly and personally, don't know where she is." He said, standing up by the window, looking into the darkened forest.
"What do you mean 'you don't know'?" Edward asked and repeated.
"Because I think maybe, that she went out hunting for a while." He said, heading upstairs to his office.
'She's got to let her wings fly.' Edward thought to himself and went to join Rosalie.
"Edward, can you read her mind?" She asked, but she was just like her sister.
"No," he said. "I can't read her mind."
"Believe, me," she said. "I think she's got Bella's gift. But we mustn't tell her. After all, she is apart of this family now."
Of course she was part of their family now. But Gabriella had decided that it was time to move and forget Tommy. But she wouldn't do that to him. Because she knew that he would know that she's forgotten him forever.
"I know," he said. "she'll be apart of this from this day on."
"But must she know that you've got a gift?" She asked him.
