Paul's POV

"Jared wake up man!" I yelled as soon as his body went limp and he stopped moving. I felt myself jump when a bitter scent flew past me. "Leech" I growled. I laid Jared on the forest floor and I scanned my area looking for a leech. It was the same scent Edward said belonged to Jane. I knew she had something to do with this. Only a bloodsucker with crazy powers could bring down a big strong Quilette shapeshifer.

"I know you're here," I yelled out. "I can smell your bitter rusty scent. Just come out already I'm waiting!" I screamed into the trees. Seconds later she jumped out in front of me from a branch.

"Well hello there mutt." She said all too casually.

"Sup," I said jokingly. I heard her laugh slightly then out of nowhere I heard a howl. It didn't sound good.

"I think your buddies will be needing you." She said as she kicked around some dirt. "But you won't be making it." she said before she jumped at me pushing me to the ground. I quickly phased and tried to strangle her with my teeth but before I had the chance she sent her agonizing pain into my body. I whimpered with pain and howled the loudest I could. I quickly heard thoughts run through my head. The first one I heard was 'Ave's gone' I whimpered and cried not from the pain of Jane's powers but from the fear that something had happened to my imprint.

Out of nowhere Seth, Embry and Quil were at my side. Jane was gone and so was Jared. I'd broken my back but I was already healing.

"where's Ave?" I thought. The guys just looked at each other with pained looks on their faces.

"Sorry Paul we don't know" Seth thought. I cried and phased back laying there naked in a curled up position. The guys phased back as well and carried me home.

Jacob's POV

"Guy's we need you back here now!" I yelled through my phone. "Brady found Ave's scent over by the beach. Even Carlos' scent too. I think hes keeping her one of the abandoned cabins not far from here."

"Sorry Jake but we might be a bit late. Paul's hurt and we can't find Jared. He's healing fast but he won't speak to us." Embry said over the phone.

"Damn, alright well one of you stay with him to figure out what happened and the others come back. We need as many people on this as possible. I've already got Eddie, Pixie and Blondie here helping us track Jane but its not enough. And if Jared's missing too then we're probably fucked." I said angrily. What could of happened to Jared? Wasn't he messing with Ave before I had to leave? I didn't smell a leech anywhere near the house.

"Seth's gonna stay, Quil and I are on our way. You might wanna get Alice to watch Jane's decisions. I think she's the one who has Jared." Embry said before we hung up.

I ran toward the pack who were now scouting the beach for clues. I explained to the guys and Leah that Jared was gone too. Alice jumped in and said she's seen a vision of him and Ave's being kept in one of the near by cabins like we suspected. Edward even said he could hear Jane's thoughts. They weren't too far away. We all raced in the direction of the only known cabin near the beach and we actually caught a strong scent. Jane's and Jared's. But no Ave. She wasn't here yet. The second Embry and Quil showed up they said they found Ave's scent. They even found a piece of her clothing torn up into pieces by the river. Apparently Carlos' had crossed the treaty line. We had Rosalie head back to her to place to track down Carlos and have the rest of her family help us out. But before she had a chance to get back Alice had another vision. It wasn't a good one. Jane had moved fast and so did Carlos, they were on their way to Emily and Sam's.

Jared's POV

"Shit where the hell am I?" I said to myself as I looked around the empty dirty cabin. Well I thought it was empty. I heard something rustling around in the corner. "Hello?" I called out. I know its stupid. Kinda like calling out to the murderer in the movies, like hes even gonna answer.

The rustling sound stopped and all I heard was groaning. I got up from the floor and walked closer to the sound. The closer I got the more I could see what it was. It was a slumped over figure on the floor. Damn no lights. This place must be old.

"Hello?" I asked again. The figure moved and thats when I saw her face. It was Ave, I quickly ran to her side freaked out at how we both got here.

"Wake up Ave." I said lightly shaking her. She moaned and pushed my hand away.

"Leave me alone..." She said turning her head away from me.

"No you gotta wake up, if you haven't noticed we aren't home Ave." I said sitting next to her waiting for her reaction. She opened her eyes and quickly shot up from the floor.

"Where the hell are we?" She asked scared. I got up from the floor and looked out the window.

"We my friend are in a cabin." I said to her.

"How did we get here?" She asked.

"Uhh that I don't know. I just woke up here. I don't remember anything after running around with your shoes outside." I said to her.

"Weird me too." She said "What are we gonna do?" She asked

"Get out of here is what we're gonna do." I said as I tried looking for the door. "Shit, I can't see crap." I said angrily.

"Maybe we can break a window and jump out from there." she said walking over to the nearest window.

"Sure but let me do it, Paul would kill me if you got hurt." I said walked backwards getting ready to jump through the window. I ran as fast as I could and slammed myself through the window til it broke. I was on the other side and covered in broken glass and blood.

"Jared are you ok?" Ave asked as she poked her head out the window.

"I'm fine," I said getting up brushing off the glass. "here let me help you out." I said as I helped her slip through the window. I jumped back in shock when she outside. Her sweater was missing. "Hey didn't you have a sweater earlier?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I don't know what happened to it." She said confused. "I still don't have my shoes either." She said with a laugh.

"Yeah sorry about that. I think I might of dropped them in the back yard." I said as we walked our way around the cabin. "Maybe we should head home, everyone's probably worried about where we are." I said to her. She just nodded. "It'll be faster if I run, you can ride on my back." I said

Seth's POV

Shit I wonder whats going on. Jared's missing, Ave's missing, Jane and Carlos are probably out there killing them slowly while laughing like the evil villains they are. Gosh Jacob better call soon with some good news. Paul's getting worse. Sure his back healed but his hearts breaking he thinks Ave's gone missing because of him. I still don't understand what they were doing that they had to leave Ave alone.

"Paul?" I heard a voice call from the backyard.

"He's in here." I yelled back. Then Ave and Jared appeared in the doorway. I freaked out and quickly ran to them pulling them both into a hug. "Where were you?" I asked them as I put them down.

"We were stuck in some weird cabin." Ave said as she sat on the couch next to Paul who was starting to wake up.

"Yeah and I got us out." Jared said proudly.

"well now that you're here we need to call Jacob." I said excitedly. I grabbed the house phone and dialed Jacob's number. No answer. I frowned then dialed Embrys number. Same thing no answer. I dialed Edwards number. He actually answered.

"Hey edward, where are the guys? They arren't answering my calls." I said to him.

"Well they are occupied at the moment. So was I but I knew it was important so I answered the call. Something wrongg?" He asked

"No just wanted to tell you guys Ave and Jared were back. They said they were in a cabin." I told him.

"Well since Jareds back send him over to Emily's we need some help here." He said loudly as I heard a few crashes.

"Alright bye." I said as I hung up. "Jared they need you at Emily's, and hurry." I said to him. He quickly ran out the door in the direction of Emily's house.

"Whats going on at Emilys?" Ave asked.

"Uh I don't know he didn't say." I answered honestly. I looked over to Paul and he seemed to be getting better. I guess being near his imprint helped him feel better.

"Maybe it's something important, should we head over there?" She asked curiously.

"No, I think its best we stay here." I said as I paced around the room.

End of this chapter. you see I just can't end them right anymore :( ugh! whatever. The story seems to be getting too boring... theres drama but its not good enough.
