Chapter 25 - The Break
"You must be proud, bold, pleasant, resolute,
And now and then stab as occasion serves"
- Christopher Marlowe, Edward II
Bonnie had enough. Especially, Kai's antics had been the last straw. She was not here to hear him talk about switching dimensions as smooth as
changing his underwear. She'd listened to his bubbling in hopes she would get useful information. Some she got but at the cost of his creepy additions.
Apparently, this place was filled with illusions, including the people that wouldn't even talk, living the same day over and over again.
But apart from that Kai was spilling out random facts about food and drinking. Still, that didn't mean she'd get back to Kol's offer to torture it out of him.
That would definitely not work with this creep. She sighed. Time for surrender.
Bonnie eagerly freed Kai off his ties. She could feel his breath on her neck as she leaned to his chair. As threatening as a cold promise of murder.
At least her hair was covering her face in her movements which spared her a view of the demon guy's face.
Kol didn't make a sound. Bonnie knew he was judging her from afar while leaning against the counter of the shop. She didn't care. If obligingness meant Kai
would be cooperative she'd get over any bad vibes that guy was firing her with.
Kol wasn't actually surprised. It was clear she was trying to find a compromise. Hoping the lad would spit out whatever he was keeping from them.
Still, he should be beyond frustrated. He really should. But the former Original just couldn't take his eyes off her dancing curls. Bonnie was so focused on her task, her green eyes appearing dark. Her movements were cautious, almost serene.
To him, Bonnie Bennett was the walking definition of the word vixen. But to the outside world she was the unyielding witch. The one that would make Hades himself take a step back with the menace in her eyes. Kol chuckled inwardly. It gave him a dark satisfaction that he was the only one to know of her wanton layers.
Kai was talking to her again with his eyes dancing on her form. Kol clenched his fists. The only thing stopping him was his curiosity of Bonnie's plan.
And there was also that unfamiliar feeling. Trust. She was capable of surviving any apocalypse. She didn't need anyone. Yet she had accepted his ring. It seemed funny coming from a former-cynic. But he trusted that decision.
Kol also had the suspicion that Bonnie must have thought of sharing more than just a bed with him before he brought up his proposal. Maybe they weren't exactly thoughts of marriage but he was sure a few relationship ideas involving him had crossed her mind. Bonnie wasn't the type to agree to something like that overnight.
Kol Mikaelson narrowed his eyes as Kai leaned in to whisper in her ear.
Alright, it was tedious his plans with Bonnie got cut off this way. But as long as she was wearing that ring he couldn't care less about the rest.
That bastard was still glued to Bonnie's ear his eyes lidded in apparent laziness. She was merely frowning but her body seemed in alert.
Kol wasn't actually one to listen to the wishes of his captive. But he wouldn't interfere her plans now. Bonnie wasn't one to trust a new face like that. So there was nothing to worry about on his part. He'd just watch her treatment and mock her later. Kol smirked at that image. Her flushed face, her green eyes wild with anger.
It never failed to please him to see her lose it, drawn by her anger.
He loved it to be the one to push her buttons. Especially, when her soft skin did that jump as he touched her right before she gave in to his ministrations with a last frustrated sigh. He felt his own body tensing up at that thought. Her jerking body under his own flesh as he kept pumping into her. Each time, it appeared as if she was crawling away from him at the messy way they grinded into each other, her screams of pleasure a reminder that she didn't.
As fragile as her petite form seemed to be, Kol knew of her hidden strength underneath. She was fierce. And he was the lucky one that was allowed to feel her fierceness in every way possible. Fuck. It wasn't the right time to torture himself like that.
Kol saw Bonnie stepping aside, putting a safe distance to the chair. She seemed uncomfortable by Kai's proximity. Good. That bastard was looking at her like a prey. He would love to beat it out of him again as soon as Bonnie was done with him.
Bonnie jutted her chin as she watched Kai raise off the chair. The dark haired man rubbed his wrists dramatically letting out a sigh. Dried blood was covering his features. The same blood that Kol had beaten out of his mouth and nose not long ago.
Kai tilted his head squinting his eyes. "Are these like engagement rings that glow in the dark? What else can they do?"
Bonnie's finger grazed the gold ring as if protecting it from his evil gaze. Kai pursed his lips, a shadow of mockery flashing over his face.
"I'm sorry," he snorted followed by a sardonic chuckle. He shook his head with laughter. It seemed as sardonic as the teasing of a bored school boy.
But Bonnie knew he was far from innocent mockery. There was something off about him.
"It's just not my style, I guess," he sighed as his laughter died down. "That doesn't have to mean anything, though. I'm kind of still stuck in the 90's."
He winked at her before taking a glance at Kol.
"But here's the thing, Bonnie," he pursed his lips stepping closer, his head leaning in her face. "Witches and marriage? Bad idea."
Bonnie uncrossed her arms frowning. "Why would you think I'm a witch?"
She watched Kai's face suspiciously as he let out a chuckle.
"You don't have magic, I figured that. But you're still a Bennett, Bon. I can sense that from miles away."
He paused giving her a greedy look as he purred in a low voice. "Ever heard of the Gemini coven?"
Bonnie perked her eyebrows as he paused lingering once again in her personal space.
"I take that as a no," he whispered the last word dramatically against her face. "Well, it's the one I was born into. My dad being their leader and all. And he happens to have a lot of history with the Bennetts."
Bonnie shoved Kai at his chest regaining her personal space. Her stare fell on Kol who was glaring at him. Kol's eyes were in bewilderment in a 'See? Your playing-nice tactic isn't working' manner.
She calmed her senses taking a breath, her business mask flashing over her face. It didn't matter how intimate her relationship with Kol was. Their secret power play was still there. And she had to win this round.
"You said there was a reason you did it," her voice was calm as she jutted her chin, her green eyes serene. She didn't bother with details. He knew damn well she was referring to the way he had grabbed her arm earlier.
Kai frowned in concentration, his eyes focused on the ground. "I did?"
Alright. Now he was truly testing her patience.
"Look, Kai," she spat out his name as if it was a disease but kept her face. "Clearly, you're here because you need something. Magic, right? You figured my heritage and expected me to help you. And since I'm not a witch you're back to square one."
She crossed her arms perking up her eyebrows with a sassy smirk. Kai regarded her face pulling an impressed grimace. A mere smile was dancing on his lips.
But the smile faded when Bonnie let out a gasp clasping her belly.
Kol sped to her grabbing her hands.
Bonnie's gaze slid down in agony. She felt a familiar spark rushing through her. Like a sweet wake-up call streaming into her fingertips. It felt similar to the time Quetsiyah had provoked her magic out of her. Her wide, green gaze met Kol's troubled eyes. His grip was firm giving her strength. But there was a new edge to his touch. A hint of darkness, a fog lulling her senses. As ironic as it was, she had to voice it.
"She gave us our powers back," she whispered.
Kol closed his eyes, squeezing her hands to the point she had to hold back a gasp. The bloodlust rushed into him shaking his bones. He could even smell her skin, her hair from that distance and it hit him all at once. Kol frowned opening his eyes again.
"But Quetsiyah said-"
Kai cut him off with a chuckle. "She won't say anything for a while. Or better, there won't be anyone around to hear it. Thank god."
Bonnie almost jumped at the sudden proximity of the stranger's voice. The wheels in her head got back to full speed again.
She had no idea what Kai meant with that statement. But she didn't interfere as he continued.
"You're right," Kai shrugged. "I need magic. And with you being all magic-free, I figured you'd be useless. Well-"
He reached into the pocket of his jacket and took out an old device filled with cogs. He waved with it as if it was a trophy.
"I have the ascendant here and I could use your blood to break the spell Sheila Bennett put on this place. But without magic? No way."
Bonnie frowned at the mention of her Grams while he kept bubbling.
"And now it looks like you have it back," Kai sighed relieved.
From the way his dark eyes were sparkling Bonnie knew whatever it was he wanted to do, it was no good.
When Kai reached out for her the witch shoved Kol aside spatting out the word that would seal his fate.
"Motus!"
A scissor staked Kai from behind piercing through his ribcage. The grey eyes went empty, his body fell like a tree landing on the floor with a plump sound.
Kol let out a whistle, his glance wandering from the fallen body back to Bonnie. His brown eyes were cautious, piercing into her own. She blushed under his intense stare but made sure to hold it.
"He tried to touch me again," Bonnie shrugged. "And we obviously don't need him to get out."
Kol's smirk widened as she bit her lip sheepishly. He stepped around her crouching down to collect the device the nutter had called 'ascendant'.
Elijah eagerly buried the tiny bottle in his inner pockets.
"Alright, you got what you wanted," the dark haired woman huffed. "Is that my cue to leave this godforsaken place?"
The Original gave the witch a brief nod. "Thank you, Elizabeth."
When he turned around to study Whitemore's dim laboratory, she was gone. Elijah straightened his suit with a relieved sigh when he heard steps in the hall. His head snapped up listening to the livid voices passing the door.
"And I say, no," an angry voice echoed.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Hopkins but you don't have a say in this."
"Bonnie would never forgive me that!"
"We always stick to our end of the bargain. And we expect the same professionalism from you."
"This is NOT part of our bargain!"
"Oh, it is. Your daughter is off limits as you claimed. All we need is Elena Gilbert."
"You think Bonnie will just stand by and watch because I say so?"
"Dealing with her is your concern, Mr. Hopkins. We do our job and you do yours."
Elijah frowned when he heard Mr. Hopkin's angry growl ensued by a hollow sound and the other man's strained laugh.
"You just did a huge mistake, Mayor."
Not so far away from the quarrel, Elena opened her eyes taking in the blurry image of the familiar face.
"No," she shook her head in alarm. "No, you need to get out of here."
Tyler clenched his jaw ripping out the belts around her form. He picked her up bridal style under her weak protests.
"Not without you," he grumbled.
He would make sure to protect Elena from whatever crazy-lab fantasy these bastards had in store.
"E-elijah?" Katherine gulped trying to open her eyes. But all she could do was staring at him sleepily. Her head felt dizzy, her body drained.
"Could you just stay with me? I don't have much time."
Elijah studied her face kneeling down before her bedside. She watched him taking off the cork of a tiny bottle with a PLOP.
"I sought out old allies to find this," he grabbed her cheek stroking it with his thumb. "if it works out the way I hope it will, it'll rearrange your system." He leaned in his lips almost brushing hers. "And if it does, I want you to promise to never try that again."
Katherine gulped at the intense stare of his dark eyes. They appeared pitch-black in that light. "I promise," she whispered.
He supported her head while pouring the fluid into her mouth and Katherine gulped it down eagerly.
Kol watched Bonnie's struggles with the ascendant. It was almost impossible to fight the blood lust now. He crashed his knuckles against the table closing his eyes. It wouldn't be long until they would get back. He just needed to show some bloody composure.
Bonnie was deep in concentration her body embracing the familiar stream of magic. Kol focused on her face as she started chanting. Her stern face relaxed falling in the state of elation. But to Kol it was the face she made when he made her moan. Another reverie of her form lying on his sheets hit him. He could even hear her relieved giggles in the elation of the aftermath, her dark curls swaying with her as she turned away from his quests for another round.
"It's done," she murmured opening her eyes. "I fixed it."
Kol straightened himself speeding to her. She jumped before shaking her head with a smile. For a moment, it had slipped her mind that he was an Original again. Kol's hands sneaked around her waist in an instant. Bonnie felt his breath on her face as he tilted his head slowly leaning in. His lips were at her ear teasing it with a whisper.
"I miss you," he pressed her form against him. "All of you."
Bonnie shoved him at his chest her gaze on the ground. "Bad timing, Kol."
He narrowed his eyes at her cold voice.
"We'll have to figure out the spell now," she walked past him placing the device on the stand.
She was standing with her back to him and Kol had the suspicion she was back to hiding again. He used his vampire senses as he rushed to her side.
He caught Bonnie lowering her head, her fingers grazing the ring on her finger. Her face was stern and unreadable.
Kol took her left hand, his body hovering behind her frame. His fingers flashed over the engravings of her ring. Their golden glow disappeared and peaked out underneath his fingers again. Kol leaned in over her shoulder frowning at the absent look on her face. Finally, Bonnie surrendered facing him.
"Why-," she bit on her lip and paused. "Why did you want to marry me?"
Kol's eyes narrowed taking in a mysterious dark. "Are you still questioning my intentions?"
Bonnie blinked at the harshness of his voice. "It's just," she breathed out. "What if it'll be too much? What if – what if it doesn't work out? Would you just take it and let me go?"
Kol frowned. It felt like she had stabbed the questions right into his gut. "Only if you want me to."
Bonnie regarded the shadows on his features. She squeezed his hand staring down to their entwined touch.
"Do you regret it, Bonnie?" It was a hoarse whisper. The witch's gaze snapped up to his face unsure if she heard right.
"I never said that," she shook her head making her curls swirl around. His gaze was stern regarding her without blinking. Her green eyes widened at the sight.
"Kol," she cupped his chin with her free hand. "It's not about my decision. I want to be with you. I just never saw you as the marrying type." She took a deep breath. "A ring isn't a guarantee for 'forever'. And I think you know that. You're a thousand-and-something years old Original."
Kol let out a cold chuckle staring up at the ceiling. "I thought I made that clear, Bonnie."
He retreated his hand stepping in front of her. Bonnie narrowed her eyes watching him dumfounded.
"You think I care if it works out or not?" He perked up his eyebrows emphasizing each word that followed. "I don't, Bonnie. That means nothing. Hell, we don't even need each other. I mean, enlighten me, what is it we gain from all this?" He shouted the next words, his look poisonous. "Sweet fanny Adams." He regarded the irritation in her forehead and added with a growl as if explaining his words. "Jack squad."
Bonnie swallowed. Wasn't there the thing about people telling the truth when they were angry? Maybe, just maybe there were things he had kept from her. Things like feeling himself drawn to her out of boredom. Because there hadn't been anyone else around, anything else to do. With all the missions, there had been just Bonnie and Kol.
This would be the time his anger would make him spill it out. And she would hear him out in his moment of truth.
Bonnie never had the expression that Kol ever lied, though. Or had the need to. He didn't seem to be afraid of the truth. And why would he still stay with her after killing Silas anyway? Take her soul back from that alternate universe she was stuck in? Before she ever made a deal with Quetsiyah?
Kol paused ruffling through his hair. Yes, he was angry. It was such a peculiar thing to feel the anger without aiming it to the person that caused it. Besides, he had his doubts about the latter. If she still had her worries about their marriage it was on him. He had to tell her what he was. No matter how unromantic that would sound like. He had to lay it all out on the table now.
When he met her eyes the fire in his gaze was gone. As if it was absorbed by the wild dark-blonde hair now.
"You want to know why I want to marry you?" His voice was a whisper mirroring the longing in his brown orbs.
"Because taking you off your feet is not enough. I want to be the one you will always remember. I want to be the one you consider spending the rest of your life with. That is what will last."
He took a step further stopping a feet away from her.
"That thought alone, Bonnie. Not the bloody result of it. Us choosing to stick around each other. No matter if it works out or not."
She felt his fingers pushing aside the hair off her face. It had been a curtain of safety, hiding her watery eyes from him. Now all the expressions on her face were exposed. Kol tilted his head his honey-brown eyes troubled.
"Forever is just an overrated word, Jade. It's one of those projects people plan ahead and wonder why they turn out different."
He tilted his head, his nose brushing over hers. Kol's lips teased hers, her green eyes fighting to stay open with no success.
"Mark my words – if… you still consider to be my wife - no plans, no fore-shadowing. Just the pure act of our urges."
He gave her a deep kiss his thumbs stroking her cheekbones. She sighed against his skin. Kol pulled away staring into her eyes.
"I love you," she breathed out.
Kol smirked, his eyes darkened with lust.
Bonnie felt his hands on her body, his gaze now glued to her lips. In a flash, he dived back in, his lips moving on hers as if it was a last dance. A death sentence. A promise to suffocate her with his own mouth. He forced his tongue inside, his hands sliding down to grab her breasts.
"We need to get out of here," Bonnie gasped for air shoving him off her. Kol smiled as if boasting with his vampire abilities. Breathing was not an issue for him now.
"That can wait," he purred with a low voice his lips on her neck.
His fangs threatened to come into action reminding him of her sweet essence floating through her veins. No, he would not give into his blood thirst now.
Bonnie gasped at his needy grip on her ass. Hungrily, he crashed his mouth over hers to absorb it.
His touch sent a chant through her body. She didn't lose control as he nibbled on her lips and she was sucking in his tongue. Not even when his hands roamed her breasts squeezing them in sync. On the contrary. She'd felt in control. It was more of a choice to let lose. She embraced the cravings deep inside, her body, led by her lust, grinding against him, moving in his hold as if seducing him into her own rhythm. Despite the sudden tightness of his grip.
Her hands sneaked between them rubbing the covered bulge that had made her scream in ecstasy so many times. He smiled slightly staring into her eyes with dark, narrowed eyes. As if asking her for permission to rip off her clothes.
Bonnie forgot how to blink as he stared at her like that. A new confidence took over her hesitant hands gaining them a new sense of steadiness. She opened his belt with the same determination biting her bottom lip. Never losing eye contact, Bonnie kneeled down in front of him in a torturous slow pace while her fingers travelled down his body, sliding down his pants on her way. His erection popped out and she didn't waste time to taste the tip with a quick lick of her tongue.
Kol narrowed his eyes at the sight panting like a bull. Her hands cupped his length but didn't move. It was pure torture to feel her on him, see her face that near to his manhood. He jolted his hips into her hold, his erection grazing the corner of her mouth.
Bonnie frowned up at him smiling. "Someone's impatient."
Her eyes were screaming predator, her lips dipped in a snarky smile as she tugged her bottom lip under her teeth again. It was fucking sexy. Kol felt his pre-cum spilling into her hands. God. He needed to fuck the smirk off her face right now.
Bonnie licked the seed off her fingers watching Kol let out a struggled breath. She bit into her lip again and made a show of opening her mouth as it covered his cock like a glove.
"B-bonnie, you don't have to do this," Kol groaned through lidded eyes.
It gave her a new rush of ecstasy. Her head bobbed forward, making sure to slide more of him inside her mouth. Her one hand wandered to his ass kneading as the other slid back and forth squeezing his manhood.
He bucked his hips again and Bonnie felt his shaky hands on her shoulders forcing her back up.
"Playtimes over, Jade," he squinted his eyes. "I'm taking it from here."
Kol kissed her, his mouth demanding and harsh on hers. She heard the sound of a rip and figured along her struggles for breath that he had teared apart her jeans. The cloth fell on the ground as he shoved her on the ground his hand protecting her back from the impact with the floor. She sighed at the weight of his torso crushing into her, her legs falling apart automatically. It surprised Bonnie each time, how hungry she was to feel all of him on her. She dwelled on that feeling to have him glued to her with nothing to get between them.
Kol tugged at her panties sliding them down her legs, his lips sucking at her inner thighs. Bonnie closed her eyes, the tingling in her clit aching for him.
The Mikaelson crawled up to her face kissing her like they had all the time in the world. His hands rolled up her top, sneaking underneath her bra to capture her nipples between his index and thumb, turning and twisting. Bonnie gasped rubbing off the panties at her ankles with her shaky legs, freeing herself from the tiny piece of cloth. She grabbed his jaw as she kissed him back with the same fire, her mind anaesthetised. The smooching noises, their torturous moans seemed too familiar. Bonnie dwelled in the incoherent noises that escaped now and then between the gaps of their kisses.
As Kol moved to the corner of her mouth, Bonnie bit in his bottom lip. But he didn't stop his movements nibbling at her jawline and moving further down.
On his way down, there wasn't a part of her sking that was safe from his touch until he reached her clit blowing provokingly against it.
Kol's face was stern as if focusing on the finest remnants of an archaeologic record. Even when he grinded his nose against it.
Bonnie threw her head back to fight a moan.
Kol smirked. These were the perks of being a vampire. He had missed to make out her heartbeat or the delicious smells she had to offer.
Especially, the mouth-watering smell of her most private area. The one she was only allowing him to enter.
Kol's eyes carved into Bonnie's emerald gaze as his thumb brushed her clit tenderly. She let out a deep breath not breaking their stare contest of lust.
He pushed his thumb inside staring at her exposed clit as if dwelling in the moment. He tilted his head in awe, stroking her entrance with two other fingers in sync. Bonnie buried her hands in his brown hair, her knees wobbly.
Kol gave her a long lick enjoying her sighs. He loved to hear how she was letting go.
Watching her from afar, his mouth getting watery had been too much. Her form bending over as she released Kai, her curves and ass whispering to give them his special treatment. She had been teasing him without even trying. Now was the time for payback.
Bonnie bucked her hips but groaned as Kol forced them back down with his strong grip. He kept sucking her clit inside his mouth driving her to the edge. She felt her magic bursting out of her ensued by a howling. A breeze came up growing on dynamism as it reached a semi-storm. The door of the shop opened closing again, flyers dancing across the air.
"Make it quick, Kol," she growled.
"We-we," she moaned as he entered her with two other fingers, his tongue moving over her clit.
"don't have much time," she added in one breath. "my magic- is gone crazy."
He stared up at her between her legs with perked brows. The wind was blowing up his hazelnut hair, his eyes steady on her.
"Please," she sighed.
A wicked smirk flashed over Kol's lips. Bonnie never begged and he was sure part of it was her eagerness to get back to work.
He grabbed his length positioning himself in front of her entrance. The wind died down in the rush of her anticipation. Her magic had just given her back the lead.
"Ready?" Kol grinned.
Bonnie huffed her heels pushing at the cheeks of his ass. She hummed as her own force made his manhood slide inside, her walls squeezing it in excitement.
Kol leaned in to nibble at her lips pulling out of her again.
"That doesn't count," he frowned pushing inside with a thrust of his hips. Bonnie moaned tilting her head back.
"That does," he whispered in her ear capturing her earlobe to suck on it.
He thrust harder enjoying her shaky groans, his hands holding onto her breasts. He quickened his pace, using his vampire strength, her body trembling underneath him.
"Oh, shit, Kol," she cursed, her voice high-pitched.
Kol watched Bonnie's breasts arch into his hold and back to the ground, as if unsure how to take her orgasms.
Her walls kept milking his manhood and he growled at the thought he was allowed to give her all of him now. He would splash his seed inside her.
He'd make sure to give her a big load of it to make up for the lost time.
Kol's tongue slid in her mouth shoving hers awake. His lips were slippery as he pressed them on hers, smooching, nibbling, biting without spilling her blood.
The pumping sounds of his length dipping into her wetness filled the room as he was thrusting faster, caught in a trance. He threw one of her legs over his shoulder pressing his mouth against hers.
"Fuck, Bonnie," Kol growled as he felt more of his load rush to the tip of his cock.
He rammed into her with all his strength gritting his teeth. Bonnie's eyes rolled back, her mouth forming incoherent gasps. Bonnie was trashing like a fish glued to Kol, her fingers finding his nipples underneath his shirt. With a spark of magic, Kol's torso was free, the buttons of his shirt flying across the room, his shirt thrown aside by her powers.
Bonnie's hands travelled to his back. She held onto Kol with her nails, crashing into him, meeting his harsh thrusts. His movements grew more impatient at her touches, his hands holding at her waists to slam in her sensitive spot.
"Kol, Kol, Kol," she chanted her whole body shaking.
Kol groaned burying his head between her breasts. Fuck. Her voice was driving him nuts, splashing more of his load inside her. He stilled his movements licking the sweat on her skin there. Kol felt his fangs coming out as he squeezed her two breasts together to shove them inside his mouth at once. What the fuck was wrong with him? He was not some weak baby!vamp giving in into the bloodlust.
He thrust into her with all he got to get rid of that thirst. Kol felt her nails buried in his ass as she trembled once more. Bloody hell, he loved to feel her fingers on him. He pulled out of her stretching her leg up before pushing into her again. Bonnie mumbled his name shakily when her jerking slowed down before her body went still.
Kol gave her a few more thrusts his own muscles giving in to his climax. Spasms shook Kol's features, the last splashes of seed hitting Bonnie's walls. He rested his face on her belly grumbling as his shoulders went slack.
"I missed you, too, by the way," Bonnie laughed out her fingers playing with the messy strains of Kol's hair. "Even though we were going at it just hours ago."
Kol chuckled against her belly, his breath tickling her skin. "I'm rubbing off on you, Jade." He placed a kiss on her there, his lips lingering.
"You're as addicted to our sex marathons as I am."
Bonnie's hands wandered to his neck rubbing it with a sigh.
"Kol?"
She bit her lip as he stared up as if considering how to choose her words.
"I want you to drink from me."
Kol's eyes went wide for a tiny second before he narrowed them in his usual suspicious gaze.
"Are you sure, Bonnie?" He raised his torso as he crawled back up to her face.
Bonnie gave him a small smile shrugging.
"You look like you need it," she bit her lip sheepishly. "And I kind of enjoyed it the last time."
Kol raised his brows. He had tried his best to be gentle with her each time but he always thought she was agreeing to it because the situation asked for it.
A power charge for her magic, Sly's formula of blood exchange etc. etc. This was different.
He gave her lips a quick peck, tilting his head in amusement.
"What if I choose to drink from someone else instead?"
She jutted her chin, her features as calm as her voice. But her eyes were dipped in menace. Oh, how he loved to see her like that.
"I'd trap your ass and set it on fire this time," she shot back in a sing-sang voice.
Kol's lips slid down impressed. "Fair enough," he skimmed her neck with his lips breathing in.
Bonnie held to his neck as he grazed her skin with his teeth. She rested her head against his forehead, her heart racing. The touch pushed Kol to a new edge. Bonnie was not the prey that was his victim. She was counting on it, waiting for his bite with anticipation. Veins crossed his features, his fangs parting her skin. She sighed as he felt her warm fluid on his tongue.
Her essence reminded him of cinnamon with a taste of bittersweet caramel as it flooded his mouth. Kol gulped it down groaning. That taste was new and he guessed it was because she was no longer a reaper. The crimson fluid was screaming all Bennett witch now. He closed his eyes swallowing more of it lost in her warmth. Bonnie stroked his neck tilting her head further back. Kol groaned. He felt a part of him hardening again, turning into wood, thanks to that sight.
Kol pulled back studying her face. His fangs were dipped in blood, crimson all over his mouth. Bonnie regarded him in silence and Kol frowned listening.
He was sure the veins were still on his face but her heartbeat was steady. No trace of panic or disgust.
She raised her upper body to kiss him, her hands still holding to his neck. Kol bit in her bottom lip, lost in the moment of his boldness. But she didn't seem to mind grinning into the kiss. She pushed him up, her legs straddling him. Kol's hands squeezed her bottom.
"The Bonnie I knew was desperately against sex before work," he mumbled lazily.
Bonnie chuckled wrapping her arms around him. "Yeah but I figured we deserve some rest."
She grinded her breasts against him. Kol narrowed his eyes pushing her bottom to slam her further into him, making sure she'd feel his hard member.
Her hands snapped on his jaw her lips brushing his.
"Is it my turn yet, Bon," a new voice purred. "I'd even let you kill me again after the shag. Looks like it turns you on."
Bonnie's body stiffened as she turned to eye the smirk she had been sure to never see again.
Kai Fucking Parker was facing her, hands in his pockets as if it hadn't been him kicking the bucket not long ago.
A/N: Thank you all for the reviews! I also like the criticism of shydeep94. Last chapter not much has happened. So I definetly relate to the reader's statement.
