A/N - *Dodges trash, and other various items being thrown in my direction* I'm really sorry, this update should not have taken this long. I have no excuse, I just sucked at the whole time thing. For my readers who haven't given up, thanks guy, I love your faces. Here's the update, and I really hope you guy enjoy it. Since it's been a little while, some of you might wanna' like read the last chapter or something. Just a friendly suggestion :-)

"Rachel...can you please just slow down for a minute?"

"Fuck off, Quinn."

She was very angrily making her way out of the bar. Her girlfriend was trying to grab onto her so they could talk, but she wanted nothing to do with the blond at that moment.

"Please just talk to me", she snapped, desperatley."Stop being such a brat, and talk to me!"

Rachel finally stopped once she was standing in front of the party bus doors. She turned to face her girlfriend." Who the fuck are you right now?"

Quinn's buzz was slowly going away, and she could almost feel the adrenalin from her wrestling match and performance, leave her body. It was a feeling she'd never felt before, and she decided that she didn't like it." Can you just let me explain?"

"No, you know what, I think you should just stop now, Quinn! It seems like every single damn time you've opened your mouth tonight, you've managed to piss me off! So excuse me for not wanting to hear anything else from you right now!"

"Oh, and you going and flirting your way around the bar wasn't meant to piss me off?"

"I was not flirting my way around the...no. No, I'm not doing this with you right now." She was getting more and more frustrated with the blond, and herself. She needed time to clear her head. She turned around, and walked onto the bus." Do not follow me, Quinn Fabray. I will scream."

"Oh my God", she mumbled. She could feel the tears coming, and decided to just go back inside. After she changed back into her dress and sweater, she was on the prowl for some more alcohol. Since the wrestling was over for the night, the crowd had thinned out a bit. So it didn't take much time for her to reach the bar. Once she finally got to the bar, she took a seat without really paying attention to who was next to her.

"Bartender", said Puck, as he spun around." Get this chick whatever she wants, on my tab."

"Puck, shut up...you have no tab, ass hole", laughed the male bartender." She can have a drink on the house, since she kicked Gina's ass though. So what can I get for you?"

"Vodka...on the rocks."

"Whoa", laughed Puck, as the bartender got busy." That's pretty bold, even for you. What the Hell is going on with you and Rach?"

"Even if I could answer that, I wouldn't talk to you about it."

"Ouch...that hurt. Why are you being so bitchy?"

"Leave me alone", she said, with a roll of her eyes." I'm sorry, I'm just...not in the mood right now."

"You know where she is", asked Puck, as he picked up his beer, and stood up.

"Party bus."

Without another word, Puck walked towards the exit. Once Quinn, had her drink, she started looking around for Santana or Brittany. She wanted to know how much longer they were planning on staying. It took a few minutes, but she spotted Brittany standing close the stage by herself. She made her way over, and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Quinn, there you are! I loved your singing, you're so talented, that was great!"

She smiled at the taller blond." Thank you, Britts."

"I had no idea you could sing at all, much less like that! I loved it so so much!"

"You're sweet", she smiled.

It was then that Jade appeared, and smiled." I'm back, sorry that took so long."

"Oh, you cleaned off all the Jello already", said Brittany, with a small laugh.

"No, I just put another uniform on. Speaking of which, Lion Quinn...where did you leave yours?"

"I gave it to Lilly."

"Oh, okays. That's perfect", she answered, as she squinted a little at the woman. Brittany was giving her the same look. So, naturally, it only freaked Quinn out more when they both said the exact same thing, at the exact same time.

"You look sad."

"Alright, that was just creepy", she breathed."Anyways, I'm not sad, I'm annoyed, and I'm more than just a little ready to call it a night."

"No, it's early", whined Brittany.

"It's like one o'clock in the morning, Britts."

"Fair enough, but come on, Quinn. You can't go. You need some cheering up, which means we gotta' stay a little longer."

"Wait, are you guys friends", asked Jade, who was obviously confused." I didn't know that...".

"Yeah, yeah, we came in the same group. Quinn works with Sanny, and she's dating one of my best friends", explained the dancer."Hey, where is Rachel anyways?"

"Awwww, I guess it's just like the song says, right? It's a small world after all", said the darker woman.

"Very true, but to answer your question, Brittany, Rach is on the party bus with Puck...I'm not allowed on", she sighed.

"Is that why you're so down right now, are you guys still mad at each other?"

"Look, I messed up. I said things, she did things...it's a mess, but it's my fault."

"Aye", said Lexie, as she walked by the trio, tray of empty shot glasses balanced on one hand." Jade...go put some shoes on, please? People have been breaking glasses all night."

"Yeah, alright", said Jade, slightly embarrassed.

The red head was gone, just as quick as she had appeared, and the attention was back on Quinn.

"Quinn, what happened", asked Brittany.

"Okay, long story short, she wanted to...for lack of a better term...get laid. I tried...I did, but I can't get passed what happened to her. It's just stuck inside of my head. So, I told her the truth, she got really upset, we got into a fight, she came inside and started flirting with somebody. She knew I was watching, so that pissed me off, which of course was why I put on the little show that I did."

"I thought you said what happened wasn't gonna' change anything", asked Brittany, sadly.

"Like I said, everything is my fault...look, Britts, can you go check on her? She's made it abundantly clear that she wants nothing to do with me right now."

"Yeah, no problem", said the dancer, giving Quinn a hug." I'll be back."

She hurried off, and left Quinn, standing with Jade. She felt bad for the bartender. She was clearly confused, and felt left out of the conversation." I'm sorry."

"For what", she asked, sweetly.

"For all the damn drama", she sighed." This isn't the place for it."

"No, sometimes it is. It's a bar, and our regulars can get pretty crazy sauce at times. Don't be sorry. Do you...need to talk?"

"Oh...no, no...I'm alright", she smiled, as she finished what was left of her drink." You don't really know what's going on, so it might be awkward, you know?"

"Okays. Well, if you do need to talk, I'll listen. Even if I don't really understand what's happening between you and your girlfriend."

"You're very nice", stated Quinn." I can see why Brittany and Santana like you so much."

"Awww, no...don't say that", giggled Jade.

"It's true. I mean, I trusted you from the moment I met you. That doesn't happen very often", she rambled." Honestly, I just...I'm frustrated, Jade. I'm very frustrated, and I feel like no matter what I do or say, I can't fix things, you know?" She wasn't sure why she couldn't stop talking, but it didn't matter. Somebody was listening." She got hurt, and it was before we ever even knew each other, and I...I broke a promise tonight. I managed to hurt her more with the same situation...and...that kills me. It does."

Jade smiled sadly, and stepped directly in front of the blond women." Come on...let's go in my office." She reached forward, and wiped some tears away from Quinn's face. Quinn, who hadn't even realized that she had started crying.

"Oh...God...", she mumbled.

"It's alright, come on."

She didn't even protest when Jade grabbed her hand, and pulled her towards the back hallway. Once they were in the office, Quinn sat on the couch. Jade sat down at her desk.

"Don't you have to be out there to work?"

The dark skinned woman smiled, warmly." It's okays, I can be away for a few minutes. The employees will understand. When we have a special event, I'm never usually behind the bar very much."

"Alright...I mean, if you're sure."

"I'm sure", she nodded." Besides, I really wanna' know why you're so upset. Like...I feel bad, because I know it probably seems like I'm being super sauce nosey, but at the same time-"

"No", said Quinn, cutting her off." You're not being nosey, I honestly appreciate your concern."

"It just sucks, because...when you were on stage, you were confident in a huge way. Now, you look so defeated. That doesn't seem fair."

"What doesn't seem fair?"

"Well, that your mood changed so drastically, and it went from good to bad."

Quinn smiled." I like you, Jade."

"Awwe, thanks, I like you too", she smiled." You can talk to me about what's wrong if you want."

The blond took a deep breath." My girlfriend was...attacked. She was hurt in a very disturbing way a long time ago. Way before we even met, but I just found out about it a little over a week ago." A very sad, yet understanding expression made it's way across Jade's face, but she didn't say anything. So, Quinn went on." She was going through some things, and it got to be too much for her, you know? So, she's been taking a mental break. Not working or anything, she got some help. She seems better now...and I know that she is better. I just can't bring myself to...touch her like that."

"I understand", said Jade.

"I promised her that I wouldn't make things weird after she told me what happened. Now, I can barely kiss her", she said, her voice breaking." What kind of person fucks up this badly?"

The darker woman felt bad, and wheeled her desk chair forward until she was directly in front of Quinn." It's way too easy to make a promise that's already broken. Especially to somebody that you love, so please...don't beat yourself up too much."

"When I made the promise, I meant it. I never ever intended on-"

"Trust me, I totally understand. You made a mistake, and we all do that."

"I know, but this time...I don't think that I can fix it."

Jade sighed." You know, when a person gets hurt in that way, it does change things, but it's different for everybody."

"What do you mean?"

"It does seem a little weird that after being violated in such a way, that...doing certain things would be okay. That's true for some people. Some choose to avoid...others...well, they wanna' feel good, and they want somebody that they love to make them feel good. They know that there isn't any reason to be scared with the one they love."

Quinn nodded, before asking something that she wasn't sure she should ask." Are you...speaking from experience? I'm only asking, because...I didn't even tell you what happened to Rachel, but you seem to know already...".

"Look", said Jade, deflecting." From what I understand, your girlfriend just wants to be loved by you, Quinn. You have every right to be freaked out, but I think you can trust her when she tells you that you don't have to be. Just love her. Love her like you know how. Love her like she's used to. She's craving that."

Quinn loved what the bartender was saying to her. Deep down, she was sure she had already known most of what was being said. Only, hearing it out loud was making all the difference in the world." Thank you."

"Oh...don't even worry about it, I like to help when I think I can. Seeing people upset kinda' bugs me. Any time you need to talk, I'll be around...Lion Quinn." Quinn just giggled a little, as Jade's cell phone went off. She looked at it, and rolled her eyes." See, it could be worse. Your Ex could be texting you, reminding you to put shoes on for the sixth time."

"That Scottish woman is your Ex?"

"Yeah, but we're still close, so she likes to lovingly nag me sometimes", she laughed." I don't mind though."

Meanwhile, on the bus, Rachel was in a full on rant, while Brittany and Puck both sat and listened with drinks in their hands.

"I don't even know what to do anymore, she's clearly lost her mind. Not even just because of her little performance, she was acting like a crazy ass before that too. I thought I did the right thing by telling her, but I was wrong. I never ever should have said a word. Everything would have been fine."

"Well, no...Rachel, I still think it was a good thing that you told her", argued Brittany, gently." Think about how bad you would feel if she found out like years from now."

"Years from now", asked Puck, laughing a little." You really think they'll last that long?"

"Puck", snapped Brittany, a hint of warning in her tone." Why would you say something like that? That was mean. Rachel is really going through something right now."

He stared blankly at the blond, before looking over at Rachel, who was looking at him like she wanted slap him as hard as she could." Well, come on! You fight every other damn week!"

"How the Hell would you know, Noah? You haven't even been around", snapped the tiny woman." You don't even know why we're fighting, so why don't you just keep your damn mouth shut!"

"Yeah, I don't know what's going on, because you won't fucking tell me!"

"It's none of your damn concern, ass hole!"

"Fine...fuck it", he laughed, as he stood up." How the Hell am I supposed to be here for you, if you won't even tell me what's going on?"

"Puck, it's super personal...don't get mad at her", defended Brittany.

"Britt, do you know what's going on", he asked.

"Well yeah…..but-"

"Exactly", he laughed." Look Rachel, I love you, but I'm out. Obviously, I can't do anything for you right now." He hugged her quickly, and left the bus before anything else was said.

"He's being kinda' mean", pouted the dancer.

"No, he's right. He can't help if he doesn't know, and right now...I'd rather have him in the dark about the whole thing."

"Why?"

"It happened right after I hung out with him the same night. He'll just get pissed off, and think that it's his fault", she breathed, as she stood up, and walked towards the cooler." Enough people know as it is."

"I guess so", said Brittany, not totally sure of her own words.

"Brit, what's the matter", asked Rachel, as she got busy making herself a drink.

"Nothing", she said, plainly.

Rachel was silently thanking God that they had made the choice to have their own bar aboard the bus. There was more drama going on than she would have liked. The only thing making it easier was the alcohol." Come on, sweetie. I know this is really bothering you. Even though it shouldn't be, because it's my mess."

"See that's just it, right there, Rach. We're supposed to be a family, but it seems the opposite now."

"Awwww, we're still a family."

"That's not true. Puck's been gone, now things between him and Santana are just really weird. I think they made up at some point tonight...but I know Sanny..and I know Puck. It's not that simple."

"Yeah, I know", giggled Rachel." He's gonna' need to do some major ass kissing to get back in her good graces."

"True...but, he's gonna' be all stubborn about it", the dancer whined." It's so obvious that he wants to come back...".

"It is, but he isn't about to give up his new career. They're gonna' need to do some real compromising." She put the finishing touches on her drink, and put everything back in the coolor."Brittany, I know everything seems weird now. With Puck being gone, Sunshine passing, and...Tina still missing. I know that, but you have to know, we're still a family."

"What about you?"

"Me?"

"Yes, you and Quinn. Puck was mean about it, but...he wasn't wrong. You guys do fight a lot."

"Couples fight...".

"I know they do, me and San, we fight too, but...with you and her...it's different." Brittany was being herself in the most beautiful way possible. It was making Rachel sad, but she couldn't help but smile a little. Her friend's demeanor amused her in a small way. It was as if she was sorry that she had to be honest, but it didn't matter how honest she was about anything. She never came off as mean as she believed she was being.

"How is it different", she asked, as she went, and sat next to the blond.

Brittany finished the drink that she was holding, and set the empty cup down beside her." I shouldn't say. It's gonna' make me sound like...a crazy person."

"Come on...you can tell me."

"It's just that...when you and Quinn got together...like officially...I was so happy. Part of it was because you guys are so cute together, but it had a lot to do with when she first came in. Rach, I saw how she looked at your catalog picture. I was there."

Rachel was suddenly intrigued." Were you?"

"Yeah...and the way her eyes lit up when she was looking through the pictures...I just knew that she was looking at you. I knew it before she even showed us who she wanted. Don't you get it, Rach?"

"I guess I don't, sweetie...I'm sorry", she said, guilt in her tone.

The blond sighed, and looked her friend right in the eyes." This was supposed to happen, you and her...you guys are totally meant to be. So, it's confusing to me why you guys keep fighting. I don't like it, and I know it's not really about how I feel. I know that, but...I just want everything with you and her to be good."

Rachel understood what Brittany was saying, and she didn't disagree. The fact was, she believed it to be true, only at that point, she was just as confused as the blond was. She smiled warmly, and gently ran her hand down her friend's arm." Don't worry, Britts. Everything will be alright. I just...need some time to cool off. I'm sure Quinn needs some time too. She's still inside right?"

"Yeah, she's with Jade."

"Oh yeah, Jade. You know, I really wanted to meet her face to face. I still do, because you and Santana have been going on and on about her."

"Yeah, you gotta' meet her", smiled Brittany.

"I will, but I don't think it should be tonight. I'm sorry, but I just...I'd rather meet your friend when I'm not in such a overly bitchy mood. You understand, right?"

"Of course I do. You can meet her any time", she answered, as she stood up." I'm guessing you're ready to go home?"

"I am", nodded the tiny woman, swishing her drink around in her cup." That's probably not good, I'm sure that I'm the only one who's ready to go."

"No, actually...Quinn was talking about leaving too."

Rachel laughed a little." Of course. Look, go inside, have a good time. It was fun while it lasted, but I think I'll just catch a cab back towards The Playground."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah...I'm sure", breathed Rachel, as she stood up." Just do me a favor, when you see Quinn...maybe tell her that it's best she goes home tonight."

A few minutes later, Brittany found Santana and Puck inside the bar. They were drunkenly arguing back and forth. She was slightly confused upon approaching them. She hadn't heard the entire argument, or even what had triggered it. She figured it was something big, given the look in Santana's eyes. She was fired up in a way that only happened when she felt passionate towards something. The two of them had been together long enough for the dancer to understand, that Santana glaring at a person didn't always mean she hated them. There were times when her hateful stare meant the exact opposite.

"You're a fucking loser", the Latina spat, placing her hand on the bar counter, so that she could stand up stright."Do you...ha-have any idea how much time...I've wasted worrying about you, ass hole?"

"Yeah, probably about as much time as I've wasted missing that fucking prison...the prison tha...that you call a playground", he drunkenly spat back." I don't...I don't really even know why I bothered trying...to talk to you about shit considering how much of a fucking bitch you are!"

"No. No no no no! You're the bitch", she spat back, not even realizing that her girlfriend was there, or that the two of them had gained a small group of people as an audience." You left me! You left all of us for a dead end, stupid mother fucking career as a scum bag! Congratulations, Puck! You're a fucking drug lord!"

"Stop calling me that!"

"Oh, what's the matter, Puckerman...are you ashamed of your bullshit? Good! You fucking should be!"

"Okay, alright, that is enough", said Brittany, stepping in between them." San, come on...it's time to go."

"Yeah, get her outta' my face", said Puck." I'm fucking done, I didn't need this!"

"Neither did she", said the blond, sharply. She turned to look at him." This sucks. This whole situation is breaking my heart, and hers. You're only making it worse."

Puck laughed a little, and shook his head."Yeah, it's all my fault, right? She won't be blamed because she's Santana?"

"Fuck you", Santana snapped." Just...fuck you!"

"Puck...just let it go, please", asked Brittany." It's been a long night...just stop."

"Whatever", he mumbled, as he strolled away.

It was another fifteen minutes before Brittany managed to get Santana and Kurt onto the bus. The driver didn't bother questioning why they were two passengers short. He knew better. His client was Santana, after all, and he knew it had been a long night for his passengers. It was just after three o'clock in the morning by the time they had gotten back to the playground. Kurt went straight to his room, while Santana and her girlfriend collapsed into bed, and passed out in minutes.

The next afternoon was busy. Not just for the Boss Lady, or her perfection, and love of her life. The night before had been a collective night off for the entire Playground community. It wasn't going to be a cake walk for everybody to get back into the swing of things, but it would happen. Santana was going to make sure that it did happen.

It was two o'clock when she knocked on Rachel's door. Her head was pounding, and her stomach didn't feel great, but it didn't matter. She had a job to do, and a friend to check on. It took a few minutes, but the door eventually opened.

"God...", the tiny woman yawned." What time is it?"

"Time to get in gear...", said Santana, as she walked inside and closed the door." I feel like shit twice ran over, I have no idea how I'm gonna' make it through the rest of this day."

"I don't feel too bad, I'm just exhausted." Rachel sat down on her bed, and took her phone off the charger." It's already after two?"

"Yeah."

"I'm guessing the lounge is swamped?"

"Yeah, everybody's eating. There's already been two fights over the fucking microwave. If you're hungry, just come to the suite" said Santana, with a yawn.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I don't care. Kurt's already up there...that princess."

"Of course he is", laughed Rachel." Where's Brit?"

"She's busy making sure everybody made it back, and checking to see if there were any problems last night. She'll come tell me everything when she's done."

A few minutes later, the two of them were sitting at the kitchen table in the couple's suite. Rachel was munching on a muffin, while Santana was sipping on a Bloody Mary. Kurt had just finished his sandwich, and was messing around on his phone." You guys are looking rather special this afternoon."

"Shut up, Porcelain...just because you can get outta' bed looking like a damn fashion model, doesn't mean we all can", said Santana.

"I know that was supposed to be an insult, but trust me...it didn't work out that way", he laughed." I guess hung-over isn't really a great look for you ladies."

Rachel looked up at him, and shook her head."Yeah, and obviously bright eyed and bitchy tailed is your personality choice this after noon. Will you shut your mouth? God...".

He just laughed, and went back to his phone.

"So...what the Hell went down with you and Quinn last night" asked Santana.

"Nooooo...now why did I know you were gonna' ask me that?"

"Well...because you never told me last night. You might as well just tell me, because I'll find out either way", she laughed.

"Can we not talk about this", whined Rachel." It's really not all that important."

"Excuse you", asked, the only male in the room." You spent half the night flirting with that Riley chick, and you left the bar before the rest of us."

"Yeah that, and Quinn went home", said Santana." So obviously, it was pretty heavy stuff." Rachel just looked down, and picked at her muffin."Rach, I'm not asking to be a nosey bitch, I swear."

"I appreciate it, Santana...I really do, but I just don't feel like talking about it."

"Fine...I tried. Don't worry, your woman won't tell me either."

Rachel couldn't help but let out an exasperated little laugh." That's probably because she feels like an ass hole."

Santana was aggravated. She didn't just want to know what was happening with her friends, she wanted to help. Not that she could blame any of the people in her life for not wanting to share things with her. Before she could say anything else about it, Brittany was walking into the kitchen, holding her tablet." There's my perfection."

"Hey", she breathed, tiredly.

"Ouch, what's wrong", asked Kurt, setting his phone on the table.

The blond sat down at the table, and looked at her tablet." Sam has a black eye. Apparently he got in a fight with some guys that were bothering Rory. Tiffany has a new tattoo...and...it's facial. Xavier's missing a tooth. Paisley and Paris both got new piercing...below the waist, and nobody knows where Weston is."

"Holy shit", said Santana." You have got be fucking kidding me. Did everybody like...drop acid last night or something?"

"Sounds like it", said Rachel." Although, Xavier missing a tooth, that doesn't surprise me, he talks a lot of shit, and isn't always able to back it up."

"That's already being dealt with, I sent him to a dentist that Sue recommended", explained Brittany." He'll have a fake tooth by the time we open tonight."

"Thank God for that", breathed her annoyed girlfriend.

"If I would have known about all the epic life changing mistakes everybody made last night...I wouldn't have gone with you guys to Smashed", laughed Kurt.

"Really", asked Rachel." You're so full of it, Kurt. Two words. Ref Joey."

"Touché...", he smiled.

"Britts, talk about the ink and the piercings, babe." Santana was dreading the details, but there was no getting out of it for the Boss Lady.

"Alright", she said, cautiously." Well...you know how sometimes, people get things tattooed on their bodies, like...so they don't have to do the who upkeep thing?"

"Uh-oh", said Rachel.

"Yeah..", said Santana and Kurt, in unison.

"Tiffany kinda'...shaved her eyebrows off, and got them tattooed on...".

While Kurt and Rachel burst into laughter, Santana felt like punching something or somebody." You have got to be fucking kidding me."

"I wish I was, but...Sanny...to be honest, it really doesn't look that bad", defended the blond.

"Why do I doubt that", laughed Kurt, as he stood up." Is she in her room, because I need to go see this."

"No, she's in the lounge...but Kurt, please don't pick on her. She's getting enough from everybody else. Be nice."

"I'll be as nice and I possibly can be, Britt. I swear."

"God damn it", groaned Santana." Kurt, seriously...don't be a bitch to her, and tell her that she will be meeting me in my office at some point before we open…."

"Yes, Miss Santana", he laughed, as he exited the suite.

Brittany looked over and her girlfriend, worry plastered across her face." Honestly, it will look so much better once the redness goes away. It's not that bad, Sanny."

"She's getting them removed. It's simple as that."

Rachel, who had stopped her giggling, looked at the Latina." That's a bit drastic, don't you think?"

"No, I don't think. That's not classy at all, I'm already dreading the thought of having to see them", she spat.

"Sanny", whined Brittany.

"Babe...she tattooed her eyebrows on...".

"I know, but…"

"Fine", she sighed." I'll think about it…."

The dancer smiled." That's better. Thank you."

"So...Sam's black eye can be taken care of. We'll just throw some make up on him. But...what the Hell did the twins get pierced?"

"San...she said below the waist...",smiled Rachel." What do you think they had pierced?"

Santana looked at her girlfriend, who nodded to confirm it." Son of a bitch...".

"The thing is...Paisley wanted to get it done...and you how that works, Sanny. When Paisley does something...".

"Paris has to fucking to do it too", she snapped." I never got that. Is there some unwritten bullshit rule that twins have to do the exact same mother fucking thing at all times? Or is Paris just bat shit crazy...".

"Relax, do you really think that you're gonna' loose clients over two clit piercing, Santana", asked Rachel." I mean, there are already people upset that they won't do anything sexual with each other. I don't think it gets much more disappointing than that."

Santana wasn't amused by her friends sarcasm, and she simply rolled her eyes.

"Ew...Rach...", said the blond, scrunching up her nose in disgust.

"Okay relax,I was joking...".

"It's not funny, Rachel. When you get that kind of piercing, you have to wait up to like two or three weeks for sex", said Santana." I mean you don't have to, but it's the safe thing to do."

"You're not gonna' fire them, are you Sanny?"

"Baby, I might have to. It's in the contract. All piercing or body alterations have to be cleared in advance."

"It says the same for tattoos", argued Rachel." If you fire the twins, you'd have to fire Tiffany too...".

Santana stood up from the table, letting out an annoyed growl." You know what...Emma is really gonna' hear it from me later, this is so fucked up! It was supposed to be a good thing for everybody to have the night off!"

"Well, look on the bright side, Sanny...it's only a few people that...that..um...".

"Just say it, Britts. That I have to get rid of because they decided to get drunk and bold."

"Wait, we're getting rid of people?" They all turned as Quinn entered the room." Would that have anything to do with why I saw Kurt get slapped by Tiffany on my way up here?"

"Oh...shit...hey", said Santana." I totally forgot you were on your way." She nervously looked at Rachel out of the corner of her eye. "My bad…."

"Gee, that says a lot for our friendship", said Quinn. She glanced at the occupants of the kitchen table."Hey Brittany. Rachel...".

"Hi Quinn", smiled Brittany.

"I wasn't expecting to see you here today", said Rachel, without looking at her girlfriend. She was busy pretending to be busy by way of her cell phone.

"Wasn't expecting to, or didn't want to", she asked, as she sat down at the table. She didn't even notice when the other couple exchanged awkward looks with each other, because her eyes were glued to Rachel." I see your phone still works. I was concerned that it might have been broken."

"Oh my God", laughed Rachel, as she stood up from the table." Is that your clever way of bitching that I didn't answer you when you texted me?"

"I didn't just text you, Rachel. I called a few times, and left voicemails."

"You say that it's supposed to fix all of this!"

"I know it's not supposed to fix anything, but at least I made an effort", she snapped." Three calls, two voicemails, seven texts."

"Yes, all within a forty-five minute window, very impressive, Quinn."

Santana was over the confrontation at that point." Okay. Done, and done...Rachel...go about your day, we have shit to take care of." She sat back down at the table." Just go."

"Wait, why can't I stay?"

"If you guys weren't having this stupid fucking fight, one that I know nothing about...you could stay. Right now, I need Quinn more than I need you, so please...go."

Rachel and Quinn locked eyes, but neither of them wanted to say anything more to each other. At least not when other people were around.

"Fine", breathed the tiny woman." I'm gone. Have fun."

Once she was gone, Santana turned to Quinn." Okay, enough with this shit. Tell me what the fuck is going on!"

"We got in a fight because I wouldn't have sex with her last night! Okay? Now you know! Can you leave me alone about it?"

"Whoa...excuse me", asked the Latina, with a laugh." You wouldn't have sex with her?"

"It's not funny, San", warned the dancer." She's freaked out because of-"

"Yeah, I get that", she cut in." I know that's not funny. The reason why I'm laughing is because I didn't think this bitch, of all bitches, would actually let something like that get in the way of a relationship."

Quinn couldn't help but look at her friend, confusion splashed all over her face." What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means...she was attacked. Yeah, it's a horrible, fucked up thing that shouldn't of happened, but it wasn't you who did it. So, suck it up, crush that thought, and be there for her in every way possible."

Brittany wanted to soften the blow, but not even she could find the nicer words to counter her girlfriend's straight forward ones.

"Well there it is", breathed Quinn." I've heard it from all sides now, it's official I guess. Britts very sweetly, and probably accidentally made me feel guilty, Jade managed to help me look at it from Rachel's point of you, and now I've got you, San. Slapping me in the face with the harsh truth of it all."

"Yeah, well what the Hell else do you need at this point? Fix the problem!"

"Look, I already know that most of this is my fault, so you don't have to be so bitchy to me right now."

"Look who you're talking to", giggled Brittany." No offense, Sanny."

"None taken, babe", she said, with a wink." Seriously though, Quinn...she wants to be intimate, right?"

"Yes...".

"Case closed, cut the shit."

Quinn sat back in her chair, and sighed." I know. It's time to be a big girl, I realize that."

"So, why are you guys still fighting", asked Brittany.

"Easy, we're both stubborn brats who can't admit when we're wrong", was her quick and simple answer.

"So true", laughed Santana." Only...you're the one who-"

"Santana", the photographer snapped." I know, I know, I know! I'll fix it, just stop!"

There had been just a little more conversation on Quinn and Rachel's spat, before the three woman had gotten down to Playground business. An hour later, choices had been made, and Santana was even more pissed off than she had been prior to the discussion.

"I just don't see any other way around it. Britts, I know you feel bad babe, but they fucked up."

"You can't just fire them though", she whined." That's so horrible. Everybody makes dumb choices when they drink at least once or twice in their lifetime."

"Brittany, I understand where you're coming from", started Quinn." I really do, but this is tough. They went against the contract, and they're drunken decisions will end up effecting their job and the reputation of this place."

"I get that, but it just...it sucks. I'm sorry, but it really sucks", she said, putting her tablet down." And now, I'm gonna' have to be the one to tell them."

Santana felt horrible, but it had to be done. Things with the Playground hadn't been in complete control for a while. She was desperate to get things back on track, and if that meant getting rid of some people, she would do it." No, you won't be telling them. I will, because a few things need to be explained."

Quinn thought for a few moments before speaking up." There is one thing we have to keep in mind, San."

"Yeah, what's that?"

"With letting them go, we're running the risk of having them open their mouths to the wrong people. This is a demanding job, with a lot of money and a certain lifestyle attached to it. It's not like they can add this onto their resume, go out and snag another job like this one", she explained.

"You say that like I didn't already know it", scoffed the Latina." It's a risk I've taken before, and I'll have to take it again."

"Isn't that a bit scary?"

"Yes", answered the dancer, before her girlfriend had gotten the chance.

"Okay, yeah it's scary. That's why when I do let people go, I put it in their heads that if they do anything to mess with my lively hood, they will regret it."

"That works", the shorter blond questioned, with one eyebrow raised.

"Not one of my former employees has ever tried a damn thing...so, you tell me. Does it work?"

"I mean, you do tend to slap them around sometimes...that scares them enough when they do still work here", said Brittany, casually.

"Jesus...babe, you make it sound like I do the pimp reach back and slap hoes on a daily basis...".

"Well...it's just...you know what I mean, Sanny."

Quinn thought for a few moments again." I think I've got an idea. Now, bare with me...don't get negative about it right away...".

"I'm listening", breathed Santana." What do you got?"

"Why don't you just suspend them? They don't have to be fired, or kicked out...they won't be able to work. I mean, even if the twins take their new piercings out, they still won't be able to have any kind of sexual contact for some time. Why not just give them that time to heal?"

Brittany's eyes went wide, as she looked over to her girlfriend." That's not bad idea...".

"Yeah...", Quinn went on." With Tiffany...there really isn't much of a situation. I seriously doubt that her clients will be too upset by the fact that her eyebrows aren't real. If they are, they should probably seriously think about their lives, I'm just saying."

"Yeah, Sanny...she makes a good point. Can we just do that?"

Santana was annoyed as Hell. She didn't hate Quinn's idea, but like many times before, she was upset that she wasn't the one to think of it first." I'll admit, that's a good way to go about it. It might prevent a lot of drama, but one thing. Tiffany is on probation. She still works, but when she's not working the lounges or with her clients, she's bar bitch. It's punishment, and it will solve our issues with the bar service for a little while."

"Yeah, I think that will make everybody happy", said Brittany. "They're all getting pretty sick of the bar bitch rotation. Now, we can just have a select designated few but…mainly Tiffany."

"Sounds perfect", smiled Quinn. "Remind me, what's Tiffany's nickname again?"

Brittany started giggling, and Santana rolled her eyes before saying; "The reason why everybody pretty much sticks to her real name, is because her nickname is just….awkward."

"Really…?"

"Tell her, Britts."

"Her nickname is thunder clit….", she laughed.

"Oh God", smirked Quinn, laughing a little herself. "That's the worst. Did she loose a bet?"

"No, I did", said Santana. "She wanted the name, and I said fuck no….but we bet push ups on it, and I went down first. The bitch cheated."

The shorter blond couldn't help giggle the entire time the story was being told. "Well, wait a minute….how did she cheat?"

"She never told me that her Dad's in the service. She's a damn Army brat, of course she'd beat my ass at push ups!"

"Thunder clit….I don't even wanna' know why that's what she picked."

"Love it", said Brittany, shaking her head.

"Whatever….it's all settled then. Now, where are we with Weston, Britts?"

"Oh yeah! Azimio texted me, Weston turned up about a twenty minutes ago, and he's fine."

"Alright, good, because I really didn't feel like calling Detective Hayes for something that small, ya' know?"

"Did you guys happen to find out how Xavier lost the tooth", asked Quinn.

"He doesn't remember, and neither does anybody that was with him", said Brittany." Which really kinda' sucks, because I'd like to know."

"I know, right", laughed Santana.

After a while, Santana had to boss up, and head to her office to deal with the drama of the night before. Brittany went with her for moral support, while Quinn headed to Rachel's room.

She was nervous as ever yet eager to make up with her girlfriend. She knew she had been unfair, and was willing to look passed Rachel's random flirting from the night before. Her fault was heavier, and she wasn't about to loose her. Not after everything they had been through. Sure, there was more to come, but she had fallen for the woman so fast, and so hard, that giving up and moving on wasn't going to be an option. Not for her. As she approached Rachel's door, she went to knock, but stopped herself. Why, she wasn't sure, but she couldn't yet. She sighed sadly, and relaxed her body, before leaning up against the door. Just walking into the room wasn't an option. She had a keycard to the room, but she just couldn't do it. She couldn't even take it from her pocket. She pressed her right ear against the door, and listened. There only music at first, but it didn't take long for a voice to join it. It made her smile when she realized it was Rachel who was singing.

Steal my heart, and hold my tongue.

I feel my time, my time has come.

Let me in, unlock the door.

I never felt this way before.

And the wheels just keep on turning.

The drummer begins to drum,

I don't know which way I'm going,

I don't know which way I've come.

Her voice sounded perfect to Quinn. Sure, she had heard the woman sing before, but this was different. The song was different, and she couldn't help but know it was meant for her. They were listening to it in the car on a rainy night, and it was the first time Rachel had ever heard the song. Quinn knew by standing there listening, that she had learned all of the words since that night.

Hold my head, inside your hands.

I need someone, who understands.

I need someone, someone who hears.

For you I've waited all these years.

It was a that point Quinn felt she was ready. She wanted to be in that room. She needed to be. She pulled her keycard out, slid it through the slot, and walked inside. Rachel spun looked up from what she was doing, but never got the chance to say anything, because Quinn was looking right at her, and singing the next part of the song.

For you, I'd wait 'till kingdom come.

Until my day, my day is done.

And say, you'll come and set me free.

Just say, you'll wait, you'll wait for me.

It took Rachel a moment before she went to her laptop, and stopped the music from playing. Another moment before she could actually look at her girlfriend." Quinn...I was just-"

"I'm sorry", she blurted out." Rachel, I'm sorry."

"Wait, let me-"

"No, you wait." She wasn't about to let anything get in the way of her apology." I broke your trust. I made you a promise, and I broke it."

"I forgive you...".

"Yeah?"

"Yeah...I honestly forgive you, baby...".

"As much as I love that...as much as I love you...I probably won't ever forgive myself. Or….at least not for a while."

"Quinn...".

"No, it wasn't just any old promise. It was a big one, and I messed up so badly by getting scared and insecure about it all. I never really considered your feelings...".

"That's not true", said Rachel, taking a few steps foward."You did consider my feelings...you just...assumed I had certain feelings. Ones that weren't there."

Quinn smiled." Leave it to you to correct assumptions that I had."

The shorter woman couldn't help but smile a little." I had to."

"I know...and that's okay", she said, moving a little closer to her." I tried to justify it, I did...but in the end, I was wrong. I was only thinking about how it would be for me, plus I didn't wanna' hurt you. But, I wasn't taking your point of view into-"

"Stop. You don't have to do this, Quinn. I get it. I understood from the beginning. I just...went to my irrational place."

"I have that place too you know...".

"Yeah, you do", she smiled." I knew that about you from the start, but I think I get to that place a little faster than you do. I don't mean to, it just happens...".

"That doesn't matter." She hadn't meant to sound so harsh, or final word on the matter. Hearing her girlfriend take any sort of blame in the situation wasn't sitting well with her. The truth was, she as more than willing to go to her own irrational place at the moment. Especially if it meant any of the blame resting on Rachel." I was wrong. In so many ways, I was wrong...and I'm ready to own up to it. I'm ready to make up for it...".

Rachel smiled." What does that mean exactly?" Quinn stepped as close as she could to the shorter woman, and caressed her cheek. Rachel pressed her face into her palm, and placed her hand over the top of Quinn's." Does that mean you're ready to love me?"

"When am I not ready to love you?"

"Well...last night would be a perfect example", she giggled.

"Yeah, well...that was last night." That being said, Quinn was kissing her. Deeply, with as much passion as she could. She took time to appreciate the softness of her lover's lips. The fullness and how good she tasted. As she kissed her, she slowly moved her hands underneath her shirt, and felt the skin beneath her hands. When she heard the soft whimper, she took it further, gently pushing Rachel towards the bed, and laying her down. Once the shorter woman was on her back, Quinn straightened up, and removed her shirt.

"Quinn...a-are you sure that you can do this?"

She answered with nothing, but a smile. Not bothering to unhook her bra, she pulled it off over her head, and threw it onto the ground. She reached down, grabbed her lover's shirt from the bottom, and got it off of her as quickly as she could. All Rachel could do was breathe. She didn't know what to say, or even what to do. She was sighed contently, as her girlfriend climbed on top of her, and kissed her again. Their tongues connected instantly. It was almost like they were kissing for the first time again. Their lips melted together in a way that either of them ever thought possible. It wasn't too long before the blond moved her lips down.

Onto her lover's ear lobe and neck. Down to her collar bone, and shoulder's. Listening to the sweet sounds of her name being moaned. Further down she traveled, to her chest, softly sucking on her nipples, giving each one it's on separate pleasure. She moved passed her breasts, down her stomach, and belly button. Once she had slipped her pants off, she smiled. She had almost forgotten that Rachel didn't wear underwear very often. It only made it easier for her to keep going, and she did. Appreciating every whimper, every arch of her back and body. Kissing and licking just above her sweet spot. Reaching up, and pinching her nipples with her fingers as she went on to stroke and lick her love's clit.

"Mmmm...oh God...Quinn", she moaned, as she felt the lips and tongue surround her center, and gently love it. She couldn't stop her hips from canting forward into the blonde's mouth, and moan at the feeling of two fingers entering her. She happily embraced the feeling of Quinn's fingers pumping hard yet slowly, in and out of her, and embrace the feeling of her tongue moving it's way around her swollen bundle." Baby...please don't stop...please...". She didn't get an answer, but it was fine by her. She grasped the blanket on her bed in her hands as tightly as she could as wave upon wave of pure pleasure moved through her body."Oh my God...oh my God...Quinn baby oh my GOD...", she panted out, as the finger's inside of her moved faster and faster.

She held onto it as long as she possible could, and wish it could have been longer. Her body defeated her, and she gave Quinn one of the sweetest releases the blond had ever received.

Ten minutes later, Quinn was laying on the bed, holding Rachel in her arms. They were face to face, and couldn't stop smiling if they tried.

"See", asked Rachel, gently, with a small smile. "You didn't hurt me…not even a little bit."

"Do you swear?"

"Yes, I swear. Baby...that was...simply put...the best."

"Oh, so you're putting it simply", the blond teased." Thanks...".

"Okay, the fucking best, is that better?"

"A little, we can try again later."

"Whatever, I'm just happy this happened before my first night back."

"That's right….I almost forgot. Who's your first client?"

Rachel gave her girlfriend an all knowing look. "Do you really have to ask?"

"Fuck….it's Cassie, isn't it?"

"Yeah, she had me booked the minute it was made known I was back. Not for one session either, the whole night."

"I really hate her. I'm sorry, but she makes my blood boil. Every single time she's around you, and she knows I'm watching, she goes out of her way to touch you a lot. Just so I see it…".

"Well, than I guess you should stop watching. I get it, baby….I really do, but she's a raging bitch, and she knows it. She thrives on it. So, if seeing me around her makes you that angry…".

"Yeah, fine. Point taken", she pouted.

Rachel smiled. "You're such a brat." She stuck her tongue out at her.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you….".

"Why not?"

"It's been a week...do you really have to ask why me seeing your tongue is a little dangerous right now?"

"Feeling a little pent up are we", questioned the tiny woman.

"Pent up doesn't do me justice, baby. Maybe you didn't notice...I came too, and you weren't even touching me...".

Rachel smirked." You're right. I didn't notice...but now that I know that, I kinda' feel like I should repay you in a pretty big way."

"Now who's feeling pent up?"

That being said, Rachel moved from the blonde's arms, and crawled on top of her." Me."

An hour later, Quinn was leaving her girlfriend's room with a smile on her face. A big smile, and she was feeling better than she had in days. She was in a good place for the time being, and she wasn't about to ignore it. She didn't want to leave Rachel, but she knew she should. It was her first night back on the job after all, so she needed to get ready. Given that she would be busy for a while, Quinn decided to check on Playground matters with Santana before she headed to her mother's for dinner. As she made her way to the Boss Lady's office, she noticed Kurt coming at her from the other direction."Hey...".

"Hey there, Goldie Locks", he smirked." Look at you...".

"Look at me?"

"Yes. I mean, why wouldn't you be shimmering like a beauty queen? You did just get laid for the first time in a while...".

"Kurt...", she warned.

"Please. I walked by the room a while ago. I did the creepy Brittany thing, and pressed my ear against the door. I know you got some."

"Seriously", she asked , a smile full of embarrassment appearing on her face." Why would you even-"

"Oh, come on, it's me. Would you really expect anything less?"

"I guess not", she laughed." By the way, I meant to ask you...have you talked to Blaine at all since-"

"Nope. I haven't, and I'm moving the Hell on already. If he wants to be stubborn, whatever, I'm not gonna' beg for his forgiveness anymore."

Quinn heard Kurt loud and clear, but she didn't believe him. At least not about moving on." Trust me, I know how stubborn he can be. Not just because I've been his friend for so long, but also because, he still hasn't really spoken to me. Although...when he does get this way, he usually tends to feel really guilty eventually...".

"Don't even try to defend his bullshit behavior. He's being an ass hole, and I get it, I messed up. But, this is a man who could never truly own up to being in a relationship with me. I shouldn't have slept with Sam, but according to Blaine's logic, he was single anyways. So, was what I did really so wrong?"

Quinn nodded a little, and smiled." Gay panic is a strange, funny thing, isn't it?"

"What?"

"Sorry, I'm just remembering...when I first came out to Blaine...he went into this whole thing about gay panic. I've even heard Santana say something about it before, but the way he put it...I understood it a lot better, so even after Santana talked about it...what Blaine said still stuck in my mind."

Kurt wanted didn't want to care about what Blaine said, but he did. He wanted to pretend to not to care, but he couldn't even bring himself to that." What do you mean?"

"He pretty much lectured me about how it is when you finally accept yourself as who you are. He went into this whole thing about how you have to move passed your own insecurities before you're able to take on what everybody else in your life will think about your orientation. The thing is...while he was talking about that, I paid more attention to his behavior than I did to what he was saying. I could tell that he wasn't talking about a feeling he knew. He was talking about something that he wanted to feel. Ever since I had that talk with him, I've known. There is somebody, maybe even more than one person in his life...that he's worried about coming out to. Whoever that may be...they are keeping him from being true to himself. Since he can't do that yet, it's prevents him from just admitting to even people that already know."

"Wait...alright...so, what are you saying, Quinn? Are you seriously trying to tell me that this is a can't practice what you preach thing?"

"I'm saying that it's not about you. It's him. He can preach all he wants, he can be as proud as ever. It just won't change anything. I don't think he really realizes that, not yet." She could tell Kurt was actually listening to what she had to say, so she went on." Maybe you shouldn't have slept with Sam, and yeah it does suck that he's so insecure about what he has with you. But, there's reason behind it. He's being irrational, but that's just how some of us are. Don't give up on him, because in a very sad way, he's already given up on himself. He needs you. Even if he doesn't wanna' admit it. He loves you, and he needs you."

Kurt smiled." Thank you for saying what he has with me...and not what he had. That, and everything else you're saying means more to me than you know."

"Just trying to help", she said, with a small smirk.

When she finally made it to Santana's office, she knocked, and waited for the door to unlock. She was confused, given that she had a camera outside the door, she usually would unlocked the door right away." Hold on", was hollered from the inside. After half a minute, the door finally unlock, and she walked inside. Brittany was sitting on the edge of the desk, while Santana was taking a seat behind it.

"Hey guys...".

"Hello", bubbled the taller blond." What's up?"

Quinn glanced at the couch as she walked by, and noticed that it wasn't straight up against the wall like it usually was. It was sitting at a slight angle, as if it had slid forward."Oooooohhhh...", she laughed." That's why it took so long for you to-"

"Shut it, Barbie", said Santana." I can only assume by the way you look, that you and the Tiny Terror were just doing the same damn thing."

A guilty smile appeared on her face, as she took a seat.

"Was everything...I mean...is everything alright now", asked Brittany, shyly.

"Yes. Thank you for asking."

"Good. Great, feud over. Can we move on with life now", asked the Latina.

"Of course we can. How did the meeting go?"

"Oh swimmingly", she said, sarcastically." Everybody is pissed off."

"Yeah...they aren't happy", said the dancer." The twins aren't as pissed off, because they know they have to heal up. Tiffany...she really doesn't wanna' be a bar bitch, and she wasn't exactly shy about how much she hates the idea...".

"Oh no...", laughed Quinn.

"That little bitch had the nerve to say...and I quote...you are a crazy cunt on a power trip and if you didn't pay me so much I would kick you in the vagina", Santana stated. She was clearly amused. "Are all Army brats that fucking nasty?"

"Wow.…", said Quinn. "And you haven't been arrested for murder?"

"Trust me, I'm just as surprised as you are."

"Muffin punch", said Brittany, casually.

"What did you say, babe?"

"Well, muffin kick really...but if she would have threatened to punch you there, it would be a muffin punch."

"Jesus", laughed her girlfriend." Where in the Hell did you hear that from?"

"From Jade. She's so funny...".

"Oh...yeah, speaking of Jade. She's a pretty helpful person", said Quinn." Last night, we talked about things, and she really helped me to see the light a little bit."

"When", asked Santana." When you were on stage?"

"No, it was in her office. She kinda' sensed that I was upset, and opened her ears for me. She gave some really good advice. I like her."

"Isn't she adorable", asked Brittany, with a smile." Her Ex was pretty nice too."

"Her Ex", asked a very confused Santana." When did you meet her Ex?"

"Sanny, I told you about her, don't you remember? She was the host...Lexie."

"Shit...you did tell me that. God, I'm sorry...but to be fair we all drank like...a lot last night."

"We did", agreed Quinn, with a look of disgust on her face." I felt like Hell this morning."

"Wait...", said Brittany." Sanny...do you remember anything that we talked about on the way back?"

"Ummm...babe, I wanna' say yes...but...".

"She can't", smiled Quinn.

"Shut up, Quinn."

"Please tell me that you remember what I said about Puck...".

"I don't...and thank God, because I do redeemer him being a prick before we left, and talking all kinds of stupid shit."

Brittany looked over at Quinn." Will you be a witness if she kills me?"

"The star witness."

Santana knew it was news she wouldn't be thrilled about." Babe...it's alright. Just remind me...I won't kill you."

The dancer stood from her spot on the desk, and turned towards her girlfriend." Well...it's just...I was talking to you about maybe sitting down with him and...working things out. You said you wanted to...so I texted him earlier...and...he's coming in tonight...".

Santana took a deep breath, and leaned back in her chair." I'm gonna' kill you...".

"Santana...come on...", said Quinn.

"I'm sorry, Sanny...".

"No, no...I'm joking. I'm not mad at you. If you said we talked about it, we must have. It's alright."

"I mean, he agreed to come, so that's good right", asked Brittany." Plus, I warned him that he can't start anything."

"What if Santana starts something", asked Quinn, with an all knowing smirk on her face.

"Well...Sanny is Sanny...it's expected, and she can get away with it."

Santana let out a loud laugh, and looked at her friend." Thatis why I love this beautiful Goddess standing before me."

Quinn giggled, and nodded." I do see why you love her so much. Although...I have to admit...I am somewhat worried about Puck showing his face around here. What if causes a stir? You know, like it gets people's hopes up that he's back, and you two fight, and he ends up disappearing into thin air once again."

The Latina shrugged."Yeah, it could happen."

"But", said Brittany, wish as much authority as she could muster up." You'll do your best not to let that happen...right San?"

"Of course...yeah. I'll do my best...".

"Well that was reassuring...", scoffed Quinn.

"Would you shut up?"

"No, because...to be honest I just don't see this ending well."

Santana gave the woman a dirty look, before smiling a little." In that case, I guess you better be here for the meeting."

"I can't. I told you earlier...I've got dinner with my Mother."

"She'll understand if you cancel."

"Excuse me? You've met my Mother...dinners are her thing. Plus, she's wanting to show me the remodel, I still haven't been over to see it."

"Tough shit, Barbie. If you're so concerned about how things are gonna' go, you can come baby-sit."

Quinn was pissed, as anybody in her position would be. Yet, in a way she was happy. She saw it as an opportunity. She thought about much the Boss Lady had pissed her off the night before, when she kicked her out of the party bus so she could talk with Puck alone. She felt as though it was a violation of the trust they had seemingly gained for one another. So, she was gonna' play some hardball." Fine", she smirked." I'll be here."

After Quinn had left he Playground, she was headed for home. She hadn't planned on it, and wasn't exactly pleased with having to blow Judy off, but she was doing it nonetheless. As she drove down the busy, traffic infested streets, she grabbed her phone, and dialed her Mother. She took a few deep breathes, knowing the ear full she would get for breaking the plans that were made.

"Hello dear", the older woman answered." Are you on your way? Dinner will be done shortly."

"Hey Mom."

"Uh-oh. I know that tone...you're not coming, are you?"

"I am so sorry, but no...I'm not. There's good reason, I swear."

"Quinny, please don't do this. I've been looking forward to seeing you all day long. I made one of your favorites. Bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops, with Flounder and a nice salad."

"Okay wow...my mouth is watering like you wouldn't believe right now." She wasn't even lying." Mom, I'm sorry, it's just a work thing. It's nothing personal."

"It never is", sighed Judy." I really wish you would just take a rain check on that, and come by. The new floors, they look great, and Laine's bedroom looks fantastic, she's head over heels in love with her new personal space. She's excited for you to see it as well."

"Trust me, I wish I could take a rain check on this, but I can't. I'm really sorry. Can I take a rain check with you?"

"I'm your Mother, that shouldn't even have to be a question for you to ask, young lady."

"Mom, stop...you're making me feel really bad right now, you know?"

"Well, good. I'm glad, because you should feel bad", the woman pouted.

Quinn couldn't help but smile a little. She could just picture the pout on Judy's face in head." What about tomorrow?"

"I suppose that could work, but the amount of love I put into this dinner will most likely decrease by tomorrow. That's a fair warning...".

"I know, and that's okay with me. I really am sorry about this."

"It's alright. Laine has invited Mia over for dinner, so we'll still have some company."

"See, that's good. At least you'll be entertaining one person...".

"Well, alright. I should go, I need to put the finishing touches on things. I'll see you tomorrow, Quinny."

"I love you, Mom."

"I love you too, sweetheart."

Once she got off the phone with Judy, she dialed Kitty.

"Hey Boss Lady...", she said, upon answering.

"Whoa, what did you call me?"

"Sorry, was that not okay?"

Quinn could sense the panic in her assistant's tone, and dialed back her shock a bit." No...no, it was fine...I just...I've never been called that before."

"I can just stick with Quinn, if you'd prefer that."

"Actually, I would, but don't feel bad about the nickname. I just wasn't expecting it. Anyways...how's my schedule for this upcoming week? I know I've got a meeting with Holly Holiday first thing Monday morning...".

"Yes, you do. Monday afternoon, you've got something with people from Vogue. That evening you've got dinner with a Director of Photography, some guy from Sony Pictures."

"Shit, I totally forgot about that."

"Would you like me to call and cancel?"

"No, I've blown it off twice already, I can't do it again. I'll go."

"That's fine, but...that's not the end of your Monday. You've got a night shoot for Ebony Vivacious, you'll have to go from dinner straight there. The timing is perfect in the most annoying way possible."

"That's not on Tuesday?"

"No...Tuesday is the shoot for People Magazine, and that's gonna' take up your entire day."

Quinn wanted to cry. She was used to being busy, but Rachel and the Playground had been distracting her." Holy shit...".

"I know, it's a crazy start to a busy week, but you can handle. I know you can."

"You're right, I'll push through it. Well, I guess I'll see you on Monday. Do me a favor, please make sure all of my equipment is in order for Monday night. I can't forget anything, its only the second time I've worked for Roz Washington, and I kinda' owe her."

"Alright, I'm on it. Anything else?"

"Actually...yeah, one more thing. Can you have some roses delivered to my place in the next couple of hours?"

Later that night, when Quinn got back to the Playground, she was carrying a bouquet of roses. Six white, and six yellow. She knew Rachel received gifts from her clients all the time, but this would mean more to her. Especially after the rollercoaster of drama they had just been through.

"Hey Barbie", greeted Lauren, as the blond stepped off the elevator." Those for me?"

"No", smiled Quinn." But, this is." She pulled a one hundred dollar bill from her jacket pocket, and handed it to her." I know you guys got overtime pay for last night, but I think we both know a little more couldn't hurt."

"Wow", she smiled." Thanks. Just so you know, I'll be expecting this every single time you walk off that elevator now", she joked.

Quinn smiled. You know what? It's a deal."

"Seriously?"

"Maybe not every single time. I have to keep the element of surprise in mind, you know?"

"Hell yeah, sounds like a plan to me, but...only you're gonna' have to let Jacob in on it too now...".

"Why?"

"Because", came his voice from the intercom." I just saw and heard the deal. You can leave my cash with Lauren, Boss Lady number two...".

Quinn just giggled and laughed. After she had left another one hundred dollar bill with Lauren, she headed inside. She was loving the buzz in the foyer. It hadn't even been a long break. It was literally one night, but that didn't matter. Quinn could tell just by the vibe, that the Playground had missed the members just as much as the members had probably missed it. She made her way into the bar, and took in the scene.

Santana was sitting at the bar with Sue, Emma, and Bethany.

Blaine was at the other end of the bar with Sam, and Kurt was sitting just a few seats over, looking at the two of them.

Rachel was at the center of the bar with Cassie. She looked happy. As if she missed her, but Quinn knew better at that point. It was all part of the game. She sighed and shook her head." This is gonna' be a long night...".

"My thoughts exactly", said Puck, as he walked up behind her." Let's get this shit over with, shall we? You can buy my first drink."

I really hope you guys liked it. I'll try to be quicker next time, I promise. Reviews are love, and I love my readers! Again, those of you who have been patient, THANK YOU.
