Okay so I have updated~ yay~ ... uh, yes you are allowed to kill me for the extreme lateness... wel on the good side... IM NOT DEAD~!
(Matthew's POV)
As Gil and I walked towards the front desk of the orphanage, I could feel myself shaking. Memories seemed itching to flood back, but i pushed them down, I just couldn't collapse here.
Things seemed to blur together, I didn't hear all that Gil had said to the lady behind the desk. My reality failed for the short time period until I felt a hand shake me.
My eyes widened and I flinched back and looked up at Gil, the shaking had grown worse.
To my right a new lady had appeared. The shock started to wear off and I could register Gil's words.
"They are ready Birdie. I vill make sure you are safe, everything vill be fine. Just go vith her and settle in. I vill see you tomorrow."
Gil ruffled my hair and gestured to my side.
The lady had a sugary sweet smile on and 'wanted me to follow her'. I looked questionably at Gil who nodded and I began walking slowly behind the woman, dreading every step.
She could not stop talking. Things like, 'oh, you will love it here' and, 'we will find you a great home!'. The happiness in her voice unnerved me, but I felt nothing threatening from her.
"Oh!" He voice made me look up from my feet. "The rooms are divided into fours so you would have three roommates, but one was adopted yesterday so you have two. You will make a lot of friends while here!"
Roommates?
I am supposed to share a room with two strangers? My heartbeat sped up. Thoughts ran through my mind. Soon they halted.
"You missed lunch, so you will only have dinner for today. Dinner will be ready in 3 hours precisely, it will be announced then and everyone besides certain staff will gather in the dining area." She chirped on before stopping in front of a door. "The other boys are out in the yard while the girls are playing inside. You may set up your stuff for now and get acquainted with them at dinner."
I glanced around, feeling no threat present, very different from the usual atmosphere I was normally around.
The woman opened the door. "You get either a top or bottom bunk, it doesn't matter, any questions?" She smiled.
I shook my head, I had nothing to say. She walked away and I stepped into the room.
It is then that I had realized that I wasn't shaking. Bad, I told myself, I can't let my guard down. Yet, this place had a calm air, the quietness of it was strange. I hadn't felt this since I was little.
I set down my bag and took a seat on a lower bunk. I pulled my knees up to my chest and pressed my back to the wall. Kuma was gently squished on my lap and I dragged my eyes across the small room. Two bunk beds were pushed against the walls on wither side of the door with dressers at the ends of each one, a door lead to what I assumed was the bathroom. As I looked around I realized that no evil thoughts had come to mine, no haunting visions, as if they had all been blocked from my mind.
Lack of sleep began to take it's toll during this intermission in my mind. Soon I shut down, sleep taking over.

(Gilbert's POV)
I needed to talk to Alfred now. I had an idea and I needed him to help me.
Ludwig dropped me off at Alfred's house. I ran up to the door and knocked repeatedly, hearing Luddy drive off. Getting impatient after 5 seconds of knocking, I scolded the door for not opening to my awesomeness.
Soon though, the door opened.
"Sup dude, why are you here?" Alfred questioned, stepping aside and looking at me.
"Ve need to talk in person, I have an idea." I walked past him.
Alfred raised an eyebrow. "An idea? We are all doomed." He tried to joke but looked worn down, as much as he tried to hide it.
"Ya, I know." I breathed out. So many worries had started to compile. "This is about Maddehew."
In seconds, Alfred's demeanor shifted and he gestured for me to follow him.
"What about him?" Alfred sat down onto his bed.
I flopped down next to him. "Birdie is at the orphanage, I am vorried. Vho knows vhat vill happen if he stays in there too long, not to mention vhat vill happen if he is adopted by the vrong people again."
"Where are you going with this?" Alfred shifted, his body staying rigid.
"Is there any vay that Maddehew can live with you guys?"
Alfred looked down. "I already asked my mom, she had said no."
"Vho cares now?! Ve need to get Birdie out of there!" I sighed out in annoyance, things had to work out.
"I know dude, I know. Just... let me talk to them. I can already tell how important this is." Alfred looked me in the eyes, I knew he will be able to do this.

(Matthew's POV)
Voices. I heard voices. They shattered the dark, empty sleep that had been lulling me.
My eyes snapped open. I stared in front of me. Two boys stood there looking down at me.
