Well, now that Babe Ruth came to Bart in his dream and gave him advice, it's time that he shall fight back against Fergus and get that baseball back! I've also came up with a plan to wrap this story up soon like I did with the first one. It's most likely going to land somewhere between 25 and 30. I hope you guys enjoy this 25th chapter and let the battle begin! Oh, boy! I'm so excited! *rings the bell three times*

Chapter 25

Bartman vs. Fergus

The next morning, as soon as I woke up, I looked at my Krusty the Clown clock and it was 8:00a.m. Then, I saw my purple mask along with the cape.

Less than one minute later, I was dressed into Bartman. Then, I ran out of my room, slid on the stair rail, but once more, I crashed down to the floor and landed on my head.

"Aw, damn it!" I murmured, looking all agitated. "Not again!"

I pushed myself up and began looking for Todd.

It wasn't long before I found Todd sleeping on the couch in the living room. I quickly went over to him and began to shake him gently.

"Todd, Todd, wake up, man." I said softly, as I shook Todd gently.

"Huh? What?" Todd murmured sleepily. "What's going on here?"

"I had a dream. Get dressed." I explained in a rushed voice. "We're going to the baseball field."

"Like, now? Are you sure?" said Todd.

"I'll explain to you on the way, now come on." I said quickly.

"Ok, wait. Let me put my baseball uniform on." he replied.

A half hour later, we got everyone together except for Lisa.

"Why the hell are we here?" asked Nelson impatiently.

"Because I had a dream last night and I decided to do it." I explained.

"Oh-no, don't tell me you're gonna go over the fence and try to get that frigging baseball back from Fergus." Allison said nervously.

"Are you out of your mind, Bart?!" Sherri cried in horror.

"That's committing yourself suicide!" shouted Terri in horror.

"Wait, wait!" we heard a voice holler that sounded like Lisa.

We turned around and we saw Lisa running towards us.

Once she came to a stop, she took her hat off to wipe the sweat off of her forehead before putting it back on.

"Well, look who's here!" jeered Milhouse madly. "If it isn't Coach Lisa who's gonna yell at us some more!"

"Guys, I just want to say that I'm really sorry for being such a horrible baseball coach."

"Well, it's a little too late for an apology now." scoffed Janey, as she turned away.

"Yeah, and we're not falling for it!" agreed Ralph angrily, as he turned away too.

"Guys, please…" Lisa begged.

"No!" everyone shouted but me and Todd.

Lisa sighed and sincerely said, "I'm very sorry. I guess I really am such a horrible baseball coach. I shouldn't have taken the cookies away from you and forced you to eat celery, creamed corn and spinach. I was wrong."

Everyone kept their backs turned, listening to her apology.

"I didn't mean to lose my patience." said Lisa glumly, as she blinked back the tears that were coming to her eyes. "I just wanted to become a great baseball coach and become manager of the year. But I guess I'm not ready for it yet."

All of a sudden, everyone slowly looked at Lisa and then, Martin said cheerfully, "Coach Lisa, I forgive you. Although, you were pretty rough with us."

Lisa smiled at Martin and said, "Thanks, Martin."

"Coach Lisa, if we repair the dugout, will you please give us back our cookies?" asked Milhouse.

"Alright, you got yourself a deal." she chuckled happily.

Before one of us could celebrate, I carefully climbed on the fence.

"Bart, what do you think you're doing?!" asked Lisa worriedly.

I ignored her as I reached to the edge of the fence.

"Bart, wait." Todd called.

I stopped and looked at Lisa and all of my friends.

"It's okay. It was my fault. You don't have to do this." said Todd seriously.

"Yeah. Come on, man. You don't have to do it." Nelson begged. "Forget about it."

"Yeah, don't do it, Bart." begged Terri.

"That's all we're saying." Sherri said in agreement.

I stared at everyone for a moment before I replied, "Yeah, I do. I have to do this or my name is not Bartman."

I took a deep breath and jumped over the fence and into Fergus' yard.

"Don't do it, Bartman!" wailed Milhouse. "We love you!"

With a loud thud, I stood up and looked all around the yard. I didn't see Fergus anywhere, nor the ball.

As soon as I took out my slingshot from the back of my shorts pocket, I called, "Alright, Fergus! Come on out and fight! You don't scare me!"

Suddenly, there were two angry looking eyes coming from the doghouse. My eyes widened, so I knew Fergus was in there.

I was about to take a step forward but then stopped when the dog snarled.

At last, Fergus walked out slowly with the baseball in his mouth. I stared at him and nervously gulped.

You can't kill me, Fergus. I thought bravely.

All of a sudden, Fergus walked forward a little and dropped the baseball from his mouth and then it rolled away from him.

I looked away from Fergus and I stared at the baseball now covered with drool.

"Ay caramba." I said quietly to myself.

I moved one step forward, but Fergus barked at me as I stepped back. I wasn't ready to surrender so I cracked my fingers, got a grip of myself and with all the boost I had, I ran for the baseball as I ignored the dog growling.

I then grabbed the baseball by making a swift move and got up just as Fergus ran straight towards me! Fortunately, I was able to leap over the fence.

"Whoa!" I exclaimed.

I fell on my back, but I was able to get up just as everyone started cheering for me.

"You did it, Bartman!" cheered Lisa proudly. "That's my brother!"

As soon as Todd came over to me, I gave him the baseball.

"Thank you, Bart! I'm saved! I'm saved!" said Todd happily.

He began to do a dance. "This is great! I got my daddy's baseball back and…"

Suddenly, Todd's eyes widened in fear. He hollered, "He's coming home today!"

"Who's coming home today, Todd?" asked Janey curiously.

"My daddy and I don't even have enough time to clean up his baseball!" Todd explained worriedly. "He is so gonna ground me when he gets home!"

"Forget that for now, Todd! Look!" exclaimed Lisa, as she pointed to the fence.

All of our eyes widened in fear. We looked up at the fence and saw Fergus!

"Holy crap!" cried Ralph.

"No way!" hollered Nelson.

"Oh, sugar honey iced tea!" I screamed.

I made a run for it once I grabbed my skateboard. Lisa, Todd and the rest of the gang saw Fergus jump over the fence and ran after me.

"Come on! What are we waiting for?!" shouted Todd. "Follow that dog!"

Without answering, Lisa and everyone else started running.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who?

Once I got on my skateboard, I started riding away as fast as I could go with only one foot down.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Fergus ran right after me as he barked ferociously.

"You'll never take me alive, Fergus!" I hollered bravely.

Well, the party was nice, the party was pumping

Suddenly, I lifted my skateboard up as I came to a cart that was filled with fruit. Fergus leapt over and knocked it down, but that didn't stop him.

And everybody having a ball

Yippee yi yo

I came into an in crowd and shouted, "Hot stuff! Coming through!"

Until the fellas started howling

Yippee yi yo

"Oh!" one of the women cried.

Everyone stepped aside when Fergus was running past them.

And the girls respond to the call

Lisa and everyone else also ran past the in crowd looking for me and Fergus.

"Excuse us!" panted Lisa.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

I felt sweat running down my back as I kept on riding away on my skateboard.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

I made a quick turn on the next block, but Fergus was still behind me.

I see de dance people had a ball

'Coz she really want to skip town

Get back, Gruffy, back, Scruffy

Get back, you flea infested mongrel

Lisa and everyone else came to a stop, panting.

"Which way did Bart go?" panted Todd.

Suddenly, they saw Fergus chasing me up the next block.

"This way!" Lisa exclaimed. "Come on!"

Gonna tell myself, "Hey, man, no get angry"

I rode past by a man carrying groceries and dodged him just in time.

To any girls calling them canine

"Watch it, bub!" the man yelled, looking all agitated.

But they tell me, "Hey, man, it's part of the party?"

Yippee yi yo

You put a woman in front and her man behind

I heard a woman shout out

Suddenly, without warning, Fergus knocked the man down to the ground and kept on running.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Lisa and my friends ran past the man and tried to catch up with me and Fergus.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

As I rode on my skateboard, I took out my slingshot and began firing rocks at Fergus.

"Eat my shorts!" I shouted, as I fired a rock from my slingshot.

Say, a doggy is nothing if he don't have a bone

Unfortunately, Fergus dodged through the rocks I fired, but I would not give up.

Oh, doggy hold your bone, oh, doggy hold it

The more I sped up on my skateboard, Fergus kept on running.

A doggy is nothing if he don't have a bone

Oh, doggy hold your bone, oh, doggy hold it

Lisa and my friends came to a stop once more, still panting.

"Now which way did he go?" Ralph panted.

Suddenly, they saw Fergus chasing me near the Aztec Theater and showed no signs of stopping.

"That way!" cried Todd. "Let's go!"

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Fergus' barking got louder and louder which made me sweat even harder. But I had to keep on going because I did not want to become dog food for Fergus.

I gotta get away. I thought nervously.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

"Out of the way, people!" I announced, as I came by to another in crowd.

I see de dance people had a ball

'Coz she really want to skip town

Get back, Gruffy, back, Scruffy

Get back, you flea infested mongrel

Suddenly, I began running into a lot of people as I rode really fast on my skateboard while Lisa and my friends tried to catch up with me and Fergus.

Well, if I am a dog, the party is on

I gotta get my groove 'cause my mind done gone

Do you see the rays coming from my eye

Walking through the place that Digi-man is breaking it down?

Me and my white short shorts

And I can't see color, any color will do

I'll stick on you, that's why they call me 'Pit bull'

'Cause I'm the man of the land

"Incoming! Look out!" I screamed.

Fergus got even angrier as he kept on barking and ran faster.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

"Gangway!" shouted Todd.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

"Runaway dog!" hollered Janey.

"There's no stopping now!" Milhouse said.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who? (Yippee yi yo)

"It's some kind of an emergency!" Allison yelled.

Everyone stepped aside as they watched Lisa and my friends run without stopping.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who? (Yippee yi yo)

"I think I gotta pee so badly!" Terri whimpered.

"You can hold it, Terri! This is absolutely no time for bathroom breaks!" said Sherri sternly.

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who? (Yippee yi yo)

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

Who let the dogs out?

Who, who, who, who, who?

After a while, I found myself riding straight to the Springfield Park. Lots of people were there. I looked up a banner and it was a neighborhood picnic. I dodged some people out of the way and then lifted my skateboard in the air and landed onto a table, but I kept on pedaling away.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" a picnicker woman exclaimed, looking all agitated.

Without warning, all of the picnickers saw Fergus jumped onto the table and kept on running.

"Who let this dog in here?!"a picnicker cried in frustration.

"I'm sorry! Excuse me!" I called. "Coming through!"

As I kept on trying to speed up, I saw two chefs carrying a huge cake.

"Watch out! Aaahh!" I screamed, as I jumped over the cake.

Ay caramba. That was lucky. If I crashed right into the chefs, then the cake would be in ruins.

Suddenly, the chefs saw Fergus running and quickly dodged out of the way, still holding the cake. Then, the dog ran past through a tall guy with stilts on as he began to lose his balance.

Lisa and my other friends came by as they ran.

"Hey, hey, hey, kids!" the first chef shouted.

"Why don't you watch where you're going?!" the second chef bellowed.

Ralph quickly stopped and took a dab of frosting from the cake.

"Yummy!" he exclaimed happily.

"Put it down." the first chef said cautiously.

"Careful, careful." the second chef also said cautiously.

The two chefs carefully put the cake down on the table and didn't notice that Ralph was eating the frosting.

"Come on, Ralph!" cried Lisa, as she grabbed Ralph by the back of his baseball uniform.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" the tall man cried.

Next thing what happened was the tall man crashing right into the table which caused the cake to fly in the air and then it landed right on top of the chefs as they stared at each other.

I rode my skateboard down to the Springfield Public Pool with Fergus still behind me.

"Mommy, Mommy, look. A doggy!" a little boy cried, as he tapped on his mother's shoulder.

All the people started screaming as they saw Fergus barking ferociously.

"Ooh, a big doggy." the little boy said, before his mother pulled him away to safety.

I made my way around them so I wouldn't bump into anyone without hurting them or myself. Then, I made a sharp turn and headed to the exit.

Once I made it out, I saw Lisa and my friends.

"Back to the baseball field!" I yelled, as I rode past them.

"This way! Shortcut, you guys! Let's go!" Martin shouted.

"Can I at least go to the bathroom?" moaned Terri in a higher pitched voice, as her legs moved up and down. "I can't hold it in anymore!"

"Not now, Terri!" shouted Sherri.

They took the short cut to the baseball field while I took the longer route.

Lisa and my friends ran and ran until they finally made it to the baseball field.

"Where is he?" Nelson asked, panting. "Does anyone see him?"

They were all panting as sweat came to them. It was hot and Lisa even took her hat off.

"I don't see him." she said.

"Neither do I." replied Milhouse.

All of a sudden, Todd was the first one to see me running.

"There he is!" shouted Todd.

I finally reached the baseball field. Looking behind over me, Fergus was getting closer and closer.

Without warning, my skateboard tripped over a rock and I screamed as I fell off!

"No, Bart!" shouted Lisa.

I crashed face down on the ground near the baseball diamond.

"Oh-no." Janey said nervously.

I pushed myself up, but I couldn't run anymore. My heart was beating really fast. I saw Fergus running right towards me, as he barked ferociously.

"No!" I screamed, as I shielded my face.

Could this be the end of me? Was I about to become dog food for Fergus and never come back?

Before Fergus could pounce on me, he felt someone grab him back by his tail. I unshielded my face and I saw Todd!

"No more Mr. Nice Flanders!" Todd announced triumphantly.

"Todd?" I said nervously.

"Run, Bartman! Run!" shouted Todd.

Without answering, I quickly pushed myself up and began to run. Fergus snarled and began chasing after me as he dragged Todd in the air.

Todd got back on the ground and pulled Fergus back by his tail as hard as he could.

"You won't be hurting my best friend now, Fergus!" yelled Todd angrily.

All of a sudden, without warning, Fergus turned around and ripped off a part of Todd's baseball uniform.

But this made Todd even angrier and he bellowed, "Justice!"

Then, he kicked the dog right in the face and he ran.

"Go, Todd! Go!" Lisa cheered happily.

Fergus began running towards Todd as he barked ferociously.

As Todd kept on running, he climbed over the fence and held on. He even saw Fergus running to the fence and he crashed his head right into it.

Suddenly, the fence began to fall!

"Todd, look out!" I shouted.

But it was too late. The fence collapsed to the ground and kicked up a lot of dust.

We quickly dodged out of the way in time, but the dust was so thick, we couldn't even see a thing.

A/N: Wow! I can't believe Bart got the baseball back and tried to pickle Fergus! It was also very heroic and Todd tried to save Bart from Fergus. Don't you think? Anyway, the song that I used when Fergus was chasing Bart all over town was "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by the Baha Men which is my most, favorite song. I also hope that you enjoyed this chapter and please review! Be also sure to look out for chapter 26 coming sometime soon!
