Chapter 25: Respite
It was more than enough cause to whisper and gossip when the princess returned, looking haggard and exhausted, and red hair slightly ruffled from the day's exploits. Beside her, Elsa remained close in case the redhead needed a shoulder to lean on if she became too tired to walk any further. The citizens of Arendelle watched as the two passed by, the dragon in her human guise and dressed in a lovely icy-blue dress. She kept her eyes on Anna the entire time as the princess stumbled slightly on her way back to the castle.
After the excitement had left her system, fatigue had finally caught up to the feisty princess once Elsa had landed and she dismounted. She now wanted nothing more to rest in a comfortable bed, and perhaps rest her body in a warm bath.
"Lokalaat…" Elsa said, her voice mixing a light growl of concern.
"I'm fine Elsa. Just tired… I really could use a nice hot bath." Anna shook her head and sighed tiredly, running a hand through her ruffled hair. She paused for a moment, remembering that her red locks no longer held the odd white streak she had grown so used to since she had been a young child. Strange how at first she felt it so odd and out of place, but now she felt that she missed it.
Noticing her mate's silence, the blonde stopped and looked at her. "Anna, do you want me to carry you?"
"What? No, I'm fine. Just thinking. Come on, let's go." Anna continued on and Elsa followed close behind.
As the princess expected, the moment she and Elsa were at the gates, Kai and Gerda rushed to her side. Elsa kept a respectable distance, however she remained close enough to assist Anna if ever she needed it. The disguised dragon tilted slightly as she watched the scene. Her mate was loved and cared for not only due to her title but because she was simply Anna.
Elsa was beginning to understand what really drew her to the redhead. Ironic; to think she wanted to be rid of her when they first met and now she could not leave the princess alone.
"I need a bath…" Anna said tiredly with a sheepish smile as Kai and Gerda gave her concerned and disapproving expressions. They then looked at the disguised dragon and Elsa looked away. "Nothing was Elsa's fault, so don't get upset with her. I told her to take me along."
"And just right after your mother and father had you back!" Gerda scolded.
Anna just gave them a tired grin and waved a hand at them. "I know… You can lecture me later…" She said and Elsa sighed before finally picking her mate up in her arms despite the redhead's protests.
"I'll bring her to her room. She asked for a bath, right?" Elsa said and Gerda just yelped a bit and nodded before slumping in defeat as the blonde woman made her way into the castle.
"Elsa, I can walk on my own…!" Anna protested tiredly, frowning at her beloved.
The disguised dragon ignored her and merely traced her steps over to where Anna's room was. Her mate was in no condition to continue running about now. She had spent much of her energy in their last battle against the dark servant; by now the rush that was flowing through the princess's body would have worn off.
Elsa entered the redhead's bedroom and placed her down on the bed. But as she began to back away, Anna kept her arms around her neck. "Lokalaat…you're in your room now. You can let go."
"I don't feel like it." Anna gave her blonde lover a cheeky expression, keeping her arms wrapped around Elsa's neck. When the blonde tried moving away, Anna just went along, never loosening her grip.
"Let go, Anna."
"Why?"
"Because you need to rest."
The redhead stared up at the icy woman. "I am resting. I'm just taking you with me while I do so."
Elsa let out a deep sigh. The fatigue must have finally gotten to her. "Did nearly losing your breathing from flying too high make you lose some of your senses?"
"So cruel…" Anna smirked and pressed her lips to the blonde's. "I'm just finally relieved to be back home. And resting. Again. We've been doing a lot of that, have you noticed? Resting…" By now she was rambling again.
Icy blue eyes just stared into warm, slightly hazed-over teal ones. "We probably would not be doing so if you didn't insist on going head-on into battle like you do."
To the blonde's surprise, Anna just chuckled and settled down against her pillows. "You worry about me too much… Not that I don't like it. But…you know you won't lose me."
"Will you please just rest now and avoid any 'adventures' while you're back in your own home?" Elsa asked, a low growl rumbling behind her human voice. It made shivers run along the redhead's body whenever she heard Elsa's voice mix between her true and human sounds; it was quite enchanting.
Just then, Gerda entered the room and paused. She took note of the rather awkward and compromising position the princess was in; with her arms around Elsa's neck and the disguised dragon half on the bed just so the princess would not have to reach too far. The blonde stared at the lady servant blankly while Anna had a sheepish grin on her face. Gerda cleared her throat. "Princess…your bath is ready."
Anna slid her arms off her lover and stumbled out of bed. "Thanks, Gerda." She said as she headed out, Elsa following close behind, unwilling to leave her mate alone out of worry that the princes might collapse on the way or fall asleep in the bathroom.
The excitement had most definitely worn off and Anna felt it. She sluggishly undressed herself once she was inside of the bathroom and made her way to the tub. Elsa stood nearby in case she was needed; her eyes watched her human beloved as she moved about before slipping into the warm water.
"Care to join me?" The princess asked, glancing at the disguised dragon. Elsa merely stared at her and Anna rolled her eyes and reached a hand out to her. "Come here."
Unsure how else to response, the blonde stepped forward and placed her hand in the redhead's. She was then slowly pulled down towards her mate until their lips met. A happy hum escaped Anna and Elsa allowed herself to purr lightly as a sign of appreciation before pulling away, earning a pout in return.
"Do I stink that bad?" The redhead joked lightly.
Elsa huffed and licked her mate's forehead in reassurance. "I just want you to rest, and not fall on your face on the way with how worn out you are."
"I'll rest. If you join me," Anna insisted gently, tugging at Elsa's hand.
Grumbling in defeat, the blonde stepped into the tub and sat in the warm water, clothing and all. The princess laughed lightly and slid over and leaned against Elsa, her back pressed against the icy woman's chest. She could feel her lover relax and heard the small purr. If anyone saw them at the moment, the sight would be quite odd with the naked princess lounging in the water, while her dragon lover was still fully dressed and holding the redhead in her arms.
"Feeling better, Elsa?"
"I should be asking you that."
They had been sitting in silence for a few moments and Anna needed to break it. She moved away from Elsa's arms and began to wash herself. As usual, the disguised dragon watched over her beloved mate. Every movement Anna made was oddly enchanting and just so…smooth. As if everything the princess did, even if she tended to be clumsy at times, was quite fluid.
The blonde shook her head. Her own feelings had ruined her; now even the silliest, simplest, and clumsiest things Anna did was enough to put her in a trance! How far had she fallen?
"What's wrong?" Anna asked softly, turning to look over her shoulder at the icy woman.
Elsa caught her off guard by suddenly wrapping her arms around her human beloved, resting her chin on Anna's shoulder. "You make me feel weak. Too strange…"
If she had not known Elsa as much as she did now, Anna would have felt disheartened by the words, but instead she smiled, understanding what the stoic Azure Dragon was trying to say. She lifted a hand to cup Elsa's chin before sliding it up a bit to touch her cheek. In response, Elsa nuzzled against her palm and let out a rumbling purr.
Anna giggled and pressed her cheek against the blonde's. "You're a sweetheart, Elsa."
"Hmm…" The icy woman responded and licked her mate's cheek. She then leaned back to let the princess get back to washing herself. Elsa continued to watch and noticed the little yawns her mate would try to cover up as she bathed.
When she finally, left the tub, Elsa not far behind, Anna reached for a towel and wiped herself dry, only to yelp when she felt something warm and wet against her bare shoulder. She glanced over to see Elsa licking the water droplets from her skin, drying her human mate off the way a dragon would.
She did not have the heart to deny the disguised dragon this moment; she knew Elsa wanted to provide protection and comfort and it was in her nature to show her strength even if in a small way.
Anna leaned her head back slightly, allowing her lover more access and Elsa did not hesitate as she continue to groom and dry her human mate with her tongue, lapping up every water droplet she could. She felt the princess lift a hand and the disguised dragon purred when she felt those skillful fingers in her hair.
"You're an amazing dragon…" At the compliment, Elsa's purr became a little louder and the princess grinned. A dragon's show of pride could be quite adorable. She caressed the blonde's chin, only to be rewarded by a gentle nip on the ear. It seemed that dragons liked to have their ego stroked. Elsa nuzzled her before stepping back to shake herself, sending water droplets flying while Anna shielded herself with a second towel, though the redhead could not contain her laugh.
Once the princess was dressed in fresh clothes, she stepped out of the bathroom and sighed to herself as she wandered the halls with her lover close at her side, still keeping an eye on her. While things seemed to be at peace for the moment, she grew concerned. While her parents and all of Arendelle held out well until she and Elsa returned, by now she knew their enemy was someone who would keep trying until he eventually succeeded.
"I don't plan on letting that bastard remain in this world, Lokalaat. I've already lost too much before, I won't lost everything again," Elsa said suddenly.
Anna stopped and looked at her, and placed a hand against her cheek. The blonde seemed to relax slightly, but the redhead could tell that the Azure Dragon was serious. This icy beast had no intention of allowing a threat to roam free to threaten the new life she had. "You're not alone this time. Don't forget that, Elsa."
"All the more reason to rid this world of Einon, and his bastard of a son."
Anna could see Elsa's true form slowly slip through her human disguise; black slit pupils, teeth sharpened slightly, and her expression was that of a beast that was looking to hunt and kill its prey without any mercy. At the same time, the princess could see the hidden pain in those cold blue eyes, the same pain Elsa still suffered from losing her beloved son. It was heartbreaking to see her like this, as if she were giving in to the feral side of her nature and it was clear the Azure Dragon's mind was going into a dark place.
Elsa looked at her human mate with those draconic eyes and Anna pressed her lips to hers. The blonde remained still before lowering her head. Her Anna was doing her best comfort her again; a beast of legend. "I don't want to lose you like I lost him."
Anna had to chuckle. "We're a team, Elsa. I'm not going to just drop dead! Don't forget that I want to protect you too. You're important to me, no matter what you think of yourself."
"I…" Elsa began to shake a bit, realizing she had been slowly sinking back into a mad and enraged state. This was something she had been trying to avoid and now here she was, returning to that dreaded state of mind.
"It's all right. We all get angry and upset." Anna said reassuringly but the blonde shook her head, looking rather rueful.
Her own anger and potential still frightened Elsa, though she would die first before she admitted that she feared something even though Anna already saw her during one of her worst moments. But now her biggest fear and worry was if she had allowed herself to get carried away again and with Anna nearby. It immediately calmed the dragon down; she never wished to unleash her wrath again, especially when there was a chance her mate might get hurt in the process.
"Listen to me, Elsa. Look at me." Anna cupped her cheeks and the blonde's icy-blue eyes glanced her way. "I'll protect you Elsa, even from yourself. I'll always stay by your side, so don't be scared."
Elsa's eyes shone with emotion. "You could have turned away from me after you learned the truth, why do you still stay?"
Anna smiled sweetly and rested her forehead against her lover's. "Did you forget? Then let me remind you; I love you."
"I'd like to request for the security of Arendelle. Our soldiers must all be on guard and prepared to protect the citizens in case of anymore invasions. I want more guards patrolling, and not just around the castle." Adgar said, looking at Bjarne sternly.
The captain of the guard nodded and bowed. "Of course, Majesty. I will send my men off to their posts immediately." He straightened and looked at the king again, "What of the princess's dragon?"
The ruler of Arendelle raised an eyebrow. "What of Elsa?"
Bjarne frowned slightly. "Should we not also keep watch on her? If she really is as the princess says, then shouldn't we make sure the dragon doesn't decide to turn against us? Against the princess? Against the kingdom?"
The king sighed. "I…understand your concern Bjarne. As king and as a father, I do worry for my daughter frequently. But Anna is a young woman… True she can be reckless at times, but I have never seen such a fire in her eyes before when it comes to Elsa. I still wonder what more that dragon wishes of her, but I know my daughter would not be able to bear it if we just ostracize Elsa like that. Anna would most certainly want to join her."
Bjarne opened his mouth to protest but thought better of it. For now, the main concern was getting his men spread out to guard every point of the kingdom as he could. "Understood, Sire. I will take my leave and speak to my soldiers."
Adgar watched as the captain of the guard walked out of the room. A small chuckle left the king's lips. "Oh Anna… If only you knew how much of my hair I pull out from worry over you." He laughed to himself and returned to his desk.
"It looks like Papa had Arendelle's security tightened." Anna said as she looked down at Arendelle as the waterfall rushed down on either side of them.
The pair stood on a ledge that overlooked Arendelle and the activities going on. With Elsa's sharper vision, she could see more guards moving along while the citizens put on a brave face and continued with their daily lives.
"How can you tell?" The disguised dragon asked, knowing Anna could not have been able to see it that well.
"I see the little dots moving around a bit and they all look like the same color. Like the uniforms the soldiers wear." The princess said.
Elsa laughed, quite impressed since she knew a human's eyes were not as sharp as a dragon's. "You're not wrong. I can see them moving around; they're scattering around Arendelle. Almost every point they could cover now has a soldier stationed there."
Anna nodded knowingly. "I thought so. Papa's concerned and I don't blame him. Einon's been throwing mess after mess at us. It's only natural he'd make sure the kingdom has more eyes watching over it."
The Azure Dragon sat back on her haunches and huffed. Her body straightened and Anna thought she looked very majestic and regal; her wings were folded against her back, her tail curled around her back and front paws, and she was still as she watched the ongoing activity in Arendelle. Her ice-shard-like horns and spikes glimmered a bit in what light it was caught in.
While the blue beast began licking one of her paws, cleaning her scales off, Anna leaned against her large arm, also staring at the view below. She wondered what it would be like to see the world through the eyes of a dragon. She loved flying with Elsa, it made her feeling so free. But how did a dragon see and feel the world? She was certain it was much different than how humans, and perhaps even other creatures, saw things.
Anna suddenly found herself stumbling sideways and falling down onto the ground, right under Elsa's body. The Azure Dragon smirked as she licked her other paw, the one that had lifted and caused Anna's little tumble, clean.
"That was a rotten thing to do!" Anna yelled up at the dragon, unable to hide the laugh in her tone. Elsa leaned her head down and the princess reached up to touch her lover's snout. The dragon's eyes reminded Anna of the most beautiful blue gems; she'd read books describing the majesty of precious stones but seeing Elsa's eyes was more than enough proof that such beauty existed.
"Hi los dii umriid, dii lokalaat," Elsa said in her deep, booming voice. Hearing that mixture of Elsa's lovely voice and dragon's growl yet again made the princess shiver. The icy beast seemed to have noticed as well and seemed to be smirking again.
"Whatever you're thining… Don't!" Anna warned playfully.
The Azure Dragon chuckled. "Or else what, human?"
This time, Anna smirked and leaned up slightly to press a kiss to the dragon's snout and lips. Elsa's eyes widened at the simple, warm touch of the princess's lips against her own cold, scaled ones. She stared at her human mate and purred, letting her know that she appreciated the affection.
The princess pulled away from the kiss and smiled up at the beast, lifting a hand to stroke her muzzle. "You know…this is sort of romantic. Having me under you under the darkening sky. If we stay like this a bit longer, we might have the moon over us."
Elsa stepped back a bit then sat down. "Funny. Be careful; I don't want you falling asleep on this ledge. You should be in your room now. Resting."
Anna pouted at the sky before rolling onto her side and getting back up. She dusted herself off with a defeated sigh. "Fine. But you have to admit that this place is amazing, and the view! I really want to see every bit these lands have to offer. Not just within the walls of the kingdom and castle."
"Another time, Lokalaat." Elsa said gently, and nudged her mate with her snout before lowering her head. Anna climbed up the dragon's head before slipping down the back of her neck and onto the icy beast's back. Elsa spread her wings and took flight, the rushing water touching her wings as she rose upward.
"How many more failures must we endure?" Einon growled as his son leaned against the wall nonchalantly. "Griffin… It is time we begin our planned preparations."
"You're finally seeing some sense?" The younger man asked, a slight condescending tone in his voice.
Einon glared at him warning. "Do as I say, boy. And yes. We shall have everything in place before we strike again. At least it will give our pray a fair chance since we will not be holding back any longer. That dragon has evaded me for far too long, and that damn wench from Arendelle is beginning to irritate me even more to no end."
"Why not make use of the wench?" Griffin questioned.
"We have no use of pointless wastes of flesh! The Azure Dragon will bend to my will whether it likes it or not! Keeping the princess alive will only serve to distract the beast and I cannot afford any disgusting weaknesses! If I am to take what I am due, then I want it all in perfect condition without anything to ruin it all in the slightest!" The cruel hunter of dragons snarled.
The son crossed his arms. "Pity. The men would have enjoyed a new toy; they have been too deprived."
"Hah!" Einon laughed darkly. "Perhaps. Well then if you wish for it so badly, my son, then go ahead. Once we have captured the Azure Dragon, throw the Arendelle wench to the men and when she had outlived her usefulness in entertaining the troops, and then feed her to our beastly servants. I am sure they would not mind sharing some fresh meat with the dragons we have in our collection…"
Griffin grinned. "Well then, Father… You have earned a little bit more respect from me."
"Never say that I never give my boy only the best sorts of rewards," Einon said with a smirk before he headed off. Griffin followed close behind.
They headed to the battlements where they watched over the brutal training of their troops as well as the taming of their servant beasts. The sounds of whips cracking and yelling, mixed with the roaring and outcries were music to the ears of both father and son. Only the weak would show gentleness to an army meant for power and destined to conquer.
"Shame we had to lose a few of the talented dark mages we had in our service, Father. They were so devoted." Griffin commented.
Einon scoffed. "Hmph. Not entirely; their essence only serves to feed mine until I finally have the true power. And you, my son will inherit all I have and all that I will conquer. Once I obtain this power, I will teach you all you desire and more. And you shall be my sole and perfect successor."
The ruthless son clenched his fist. "I look forward to it! I want nothing more than to crush all who oppose me!"
"Patience, Griffin! First we prepare and then strike; no more fooling about and no more testing our foes' strength! It is clear we need to use our full force on them, make it an overkill if we must! Only then will it be more than enough to hold our prey down! I am not taking any more chances after all of these failures!"
"In the meantime, we allow our enemies to recuperate?" Griffin frowned.
Eion waved his son's concern away. "Who's to say we cannot have a bit of fun in the meantime while we make our preparations…"
"Good I don't want to get bored while doing so," Griffin said darkly.
"I thought you said you wanted me to rest in my room?" Anna cooed as she laid on her stomach on the soft warm furs upon the icy bed.
Elsa licked the back of her mate's neck tenderly and lovingly. "I didn't lie; this is your room and this is a castle still…" The blonde nipped Anna's neck and a small, soft draconic growl escaped her. She nudged her nose against the collar of the redhead's shirt to reach more of that soft delectable skin.
Anna shivered in pleasure at the simple yet intimate touches and gestures being showered upon her by the disguised dragon behind her, in bed. Elsa had been adamant about the princess resting but the dragon herself wanted to fix the palace back into its proper condition after the fight she had against those shadow creatures, though Anna insisted her lover rest with her. With some hesitance, Elsa had given in to her mate's request and now here they lay.
"Don't worry so much, Elsa. The palace is still in very good condition, considering. Besides it's only a few broken bits here and there I'm sure you could easily fix." Anna said, reaching behind her to slip her fingers into those silver-blonde locks.
The icy woman huffed in irritation as she thought about the damage those damn abominations did to the ice palace. This place was practically sacred as it was a place she created for her beloved mate; a present to express her devotion to the spirited princess who somehow managed to capture her cold dragon heart.
"Really Elsa, its fine." Anna said, as if she knew what her lover was thinking. "I'm not upset about the palace's damage. It can always be fixed, right? So there's nothing to worry about. Besides, I was more concerned about you when you stayed back to fight those things."
"Well as you saw, I was perfectly fine. I even caught up to you and that mage." Elsa said, nuzzling her face against Anna's palm. The disguise dragon continued to run her tongue along the princess's neck, and surprisingly, it did manage to sooth the feisty young woman.
A lazy smirk made its way to Anna's lips. "What if I don't want to rest just yet?"
"I won't let you up." Elsa growled playfully, pinning Anna down gently and continued to lick in a grooming manner. It would look quite provocative and to anyone else, especially if they had no idea of what Elsa really was. Still, the disguised dragon was not at all bothered and continued to shower little bits of affection upon her mate.
It still amazed her that she, a dragon, had chosen a human of all beings to be her life partner. Of course when she thought about it once again, she thought of what made Anna so special in the first place, starting with their very first meeting. There had nothing 'romantic', as humans would call it, about their meeting. In fact she wanted nothing more than to toss the irritating human off her mountain, but she kept coming but something in Elsa prevented her from actually tossing Anna off the edge.
And then, she finally saw why. The way Anna remained at her side, the way she would be clumsy but at the same time she was strong of heart and mind; proving she was more than some girl who dreamt of romantic tales and acted like a reckless fool. Anna was simply an amazing person that even a proud beast like Elsa could not help but be drawn in. And what a blessing it was when the princess returned the Azure Dragon's affections.
Anna had noticed that the blonde had stopped in her little grooming and was not staring at nothing, seeming to be lost in thought. Slowly, she shifted and adjusted herself so that she was lying on her back again. She looked at Elsa and the icy woman still seemed not to realize that Anna had moved. The redhead stroked her lover's cheek and leaned forward until their lips touched.
Elsa blinked when she felt the kiss and pulled away slowly. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine. What were you thinking about?" Anna asked, pushing Elsa back down on the furs and resting her head on the blonde's chest.
Elsa placed an arm around her mate. "About how we became…like this. How it all came to this."
A silence followed and the princess was the first to speak after a long moment, "How have you been feeling? After you saw your book in the Chronicler's library? I mean… You know, now that you remember your life before."
"I…recall some things now. But other memories are still a bit foggy…" Elsa admitted. She could have read more of her book but she never thought of it, especially after she regained her memories of Ahkrin.
"Like what? I'd…like to know more. Maybe even a little bit about Ahkrin as well…?" Anna looked up at the blonde, gauging her reaction to the question. Hopefully she did not overstep a line.
With a sigh, Elsa slid her arm off Anna and sat up. "About Ahkrin… Well, he was…adventurous, feisty. He was always curious about everything and would try to leave the den earlier than he would normally be allowed. I think…when he first hatched, he tried to pounce on me." A small nostalgic smile crept onto the disguised dragon's lips as she lifted a hand and touched her nose as she got lost in thought again.
Anna giggled as she understood the implications. She imagined a newly-hatched dragon attacking his much larger and powerful mother's snout.
"He was…a bit like you." Elsa said softly.
Recalling her mother's words, Anna's cheeks flamed up; she cleared her throat awkwardly and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm sure I would have loved to meet him."
Elsa moved her head under Anna's chin and nudged upwards gently, nuzzling her chosen mate. Her eyes gazed down at the pendant she had given the princess; another token of devotion and a way she had tried to communicate her desire to court.
Suddenly, a thought came to her and she moved away from Anna. Her eyes widened in sudden realization at something she could not believe she had neglected.
"Elsa? What's wrong?" Anna asked worriedly upon seeing the expression on her companion's face. The icy woman looked like she had made a terrible discovery.
"I…" Elsa was not sure what to say. How would Anna react to it? The blonde groaned at herself and buried her face in her hands. She may have had been able to show her power, strength and capabilities, and express her affections to her mate throughout their journey, but she neglected to properly court Anna after making her intentions known. Aside her gifts, being the ice palace and pendant, she had been unable to seal their courtship properly and yet she had already mated with the princess. When Elsa told Anna about this concern, to her surprise, the princess laughed.
"Lokalaat…!" Elsa growled warningly.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Elsa. It's just… I just can't believe that is what you're so concerned about. It's…adorable." Anna chuckled.
The disguised dragon's face turned bright red and her expression was that of a bemused one. She could not imagine what the princess found so amusing. What did she even say that was worth laughing over?
Knowing what the icy woman was thinking, Anna pushed her back down on the bed again and positioned herself above the disguised dragon. "Elsa, I think we're long past that stage. My parents already met you and I think they pretty much approve despite some differences between us. You've already given me so much. Like…" She touched her pendant then looked up at the icy walls of the bedroom before she returned her gaze to Elsa, "You've already shown me how you feel in more ways than one. Besides, given our circumstance then and now… I think you can be forgiven for not…'courting properly'."
Elsa looked away growled in embarrassment. The blush on her face was not helping matters.
"Elsa, look at me please." Anna said gently. She touched her lover's cheek, making the blonde look at her. "Elsa, I love you and you don't need do some intricate courtship dance or something just to make things work between us. If you ask me, it's been going well so far, right?"
The disguised dragon's tensed shoulders began to relax slightly and she sighed in defeat.
"But you know… I would be lying if I said I wasn't curious. If it makes you feel any better… After all this is over, you can show me." Anna added and pecked her lover's lips.
"Afterwards, then." Elsa agreed and calmed herself.
The princess laid her body down on her lover's and ran her hands along the front of Elsa's clothes. The blonde kept still while her mate did as she wished, and of course Anna took full advantage of it. She slid the blonde's shirt off and slowly ran a hand along her torso, admiring the smooth, pale skin of her lover. She traced the few scars she could find on Elsa and was rewarded with a purr in return.
"But…you can still show me how much of a dragon you are." Anna said. It was an offer, an invitation and Elsa knew it. The disguised dragon could practically smell it.
Feeling bold, the redhead moved her lips to Elsa's neck and nipped her skin. She felt Elsa tense up slightly and Anna shifted, nudging her head against Elsa's until she was able to clamp down on the back of the blonde's neck.
Instantly, the dragon's instinct took over and Elsa began to snarl at the princess's move of dominance. Dragons disliked being dominated by a being they know is not as powerful as them and this moment was no exception. However, Elsa made no move to strike at her mate but she continue to snarl, and some of her features were returning to its draconic state; her eyes sharpened and her pupils turned into black slits. Her teeth sharpened as well.
Anna nibbled on her neck and pulled away a bit, stroking and kissing her lover's face. "Shhh… It's all right, Elsa. It's okay, I won't hurt you. I got you…" She whispered comfortingly, her gentle tone and touches calmed the dragon and Elsa's snarls grew quieter as the princess continued to ravish her.
The blonde huffed and growled; the sounds were not human and were dragon instead. She nudged her head against Anna's while her hands grabbed at the redhead's waist. Her instincts and need to claim returned in full force, only growing more anxious and impatient with Anna's teasing.
When Anna's teeth finally released the back of Elsa's neck, she found herself being pounced on and the disguised dragon placed herself above her. Seeing those slit pupils made Anna's heart skip a beat as they gazed down at her.
Elsa exhaled and light frost blew in the princess's face. Anna glared at her playfully and the icy woman smirked before she bit down on the collar of Anna's shirt and tugged impatiently, growling again to express how unhappy she was with the obstruction. The princess hummed and ran her fingers through the silver-blonde hair of her beloved before gently pushing her back a bit to undress herself. Elsa huffed and roughly nuzzled her.
Nothing she did ever hurt Anna, nor were they meant to. She was a dragon and always would be no matter what, and so she expressed her devotion for her mate the way a dragon would but for the sake of her beloved companion, she still did her best to hold back just enough to avoid bringing any harm to her. In her human form it seemed to be a little bit easier, or perhaps it was because Anna knew this very well that Elsa did not have to worry if her physical affections were being understood and so the princess returned the wild affections.
Once Anna was undressed, she began to pull Elsa's breeches off and the blonde stopped her, shaking her head. Anna watched as her lover snapped her fingers and the last bit of clothing seemed to disintegrate into nothing. "I don't know if I should feel like I have been cheated or glad that you have such a convenient trick." Anna admitted and Elsa laughed at her mate's reaction.
"Now show me…" Anna said seriously, looking at those blue eyes.
Elsa knew what she was saying. Still the dragon was a bit unsure. "I don't want to hurt you, even if it's by accident."
The princess wrapped her arms around the blonde, kissing her deeply to soothe her worries. "You're a dragon, Elsa. I know that. So love me as a dragon would."
A low growl emerged from the back of the stoic woman's throat. Her mate was giving her permission, allowing her to unleash even more of what she had to offer. But Anna was still human; no matter how sturdy she was, if Elsa allowed herself to become passionately feral…
"Don't think, Elsa. Just feel." Anna said, bringing the dark thoughts out of her lover's mind. "Please. I'm not afraid. I promise to let you know if anything is wrong." With light whimper, Elsa nuzzled her beloved's chest before pushing her down again and taking Anna's lips. The princess moaned and pulled Elsa closer.
Soon icy bedroom grew warm and was filled with the sounds of passion from both princess and dragon.
Anna gripped and buried her face in the furs that covered the bed as Elsa pinned her body from behind. Slightly sharpened teeth dug into the back of her neck; it was to hold the princess down and to also show that the Azure Dragon had claimed and is claiming her.
Elsa's hands slid around her human mate's body and between her legs. Anna gasped as she felt her lover's touch at her warmth. She wanted to touch Elsa as well but the dragon kept her down, however she could feel everything Elsa was doing to her. The azure beast wanted to please her, to put Anna first and demonstrate the passions of a dragon as requested.
The princess cried out the dragon's name and Elsa thrust her hips forward, keeping her hold on her mate. Their heated desires touched and rubbed against together while Anna reached back to grip at Elsa's hair which had been loosened from its usual braid. In response, she felt the icy woman thrust against her a little more roughly. Their hips continued to meet, making Anna curse as she was lost in this white hot passionate state her lover was keeping her in for as long as possible.
Elsa growled against her mate's neck, sensing Anna was close to her limit now, and so she loosened her hold, allowing the princess to have her turn.
Anna turned to look at her and ran a hand down Elsa's chest, then back up to knead her breasts. She was rewarded with a pleasured growl as Elsa pulled their bodies together and slipped a hand between the redhead's legs, savoring how hot and willing she was.
Not want to be the only one to feel it all, Anna followed suit and her fingers thrust into Elsa. The disguised dragon released a screeching roar at the sudden pulse of desire within her. The azure beast recognized the desire she was feeling but it was as if the heat had grown even more intense than the last time she and Anna had mated.
Elsa was urged to lie on her back while her human companion slid down between her legs. The icy blonde arched her back and pawed at the furs as Anna's tongue licked and thrust into her, tasting the disguised dragon's essence. Anna wanted her to feel the same flames she felt inside of her chest.
Before she lost control, the disguised dragon pulled her mate up and brought her into a deep kiss. Their tongues met and Anna returned her fingers into Elsa's wet heat. The blonde grunted and did the same as well, mimicking her mate's movements.
Unable to hold back any longer, princess and dragon let out a cry and a roar. They felt the room spin and perhaps shake a bit from the icy beast's loud roar. Anna collapsed down onto the furs and Elsa laid beside her, placing an arm over her waist and licking the back of her neck, running her tongue over the marks she left while holding the princess down.
The heat settled and Anna sighed in content as Elsa licked her neck, then her shoulder and chest. She nestled back on the furs whilst she enjoyed the Azure Dragon's aftercare. Elsa's actions were slow and tender, and loving. She made sure her human mate was comfortable and had no damage to her. She nuzzled and kissed Anna, running her hands along her hip and abdomen.
"Lokalaat… Are you alright?" Elsa panted slightly, still feeling the aftermath of the explosive release she and Anna shared.
"More than alright." Anna chuckled sheepishly as she watched her beloved tended to her body. She felt a little coldness from Elsa's tongue and shivered as her draconic lover cooled her down with soft licks before going back to licking the marks left on her neck, as if she was still apologizing for it. "I have to say it… Dragons are amazing in bed."
Elsa lifted her head and smirked at Anna smugly. She stuck out her chest slightly, in a gesture of pride. The redhead laughed at the reaction and embraced her.
"Will you rest now, my Lokalaat?" The blonde asked softly, her eyes shining with love and concern.
"I can't really say no when you look at me like that." The princess said tiredly. "You also wore me out…" Her eyelids were growing heavy and Elsa noticed. The disguised dragon held her close, stroking the fiery-red locks that that also been released from their braids.
Anna kissed the blonde's lips and moaned at the warmth she was still feeling. If she had her way, she and Elsa would be staying in bed all day the next day. But this was more than enough, and she was glad that Elsa allowed herself to show more of her passions. She knew how careful the dragon was being and she understood. She appreciated it but she also wanted Elsa to feel as much as Anna felt. Finally, the feisty young woman yawned and after she did, her lover opened her mouth wide and a deep yawn of her own, making Anna chuckle before she nestled close to her.
Both princess and dragon allowed sleep to take them as they basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking.
It has been a while since I did some writing in general. So forgive me if my rusty-ness is showing. I feel like some parts went a little repetitive; my mind has been disoriented lately and I am doing my best to multi-task and I have been feeling the urge to get back into the story and writing in general. Here's a little tidbit; the spot Anna and Elsa were standing with the waterfall is the area during Love is an Open Door in Frozen. But the ledge of course is now big enough to accommodate a Skyrim dragon-sized dragon!
What shall happen next? We will see! But for now, enjoy this respite (and for however long they will have it) with our heroines.
Thanks for all the love and support for Drage Hjerte, you readers are all amazing and I am glad to be doing what I love, which is writing. Stay awesome!
Until then…
