Notes: I went to a house show today and there's nothing like seeing Dean Ambrose live. He has this amazing presence that screams he owns the ring. Of course the house show did confirm how much I hate Roman Reigns. Anyway I started this fic before I really liked the Shield and this idea came to me.
Chris Hero sighed as he and Daniel Bryan entered the room that they agreed to meet in. "Bryan you know this is a bad idea. This could be a trap. We shoulda brought others with us."
"They said they needed to talk to us alone," Bryan reminded him. "I don't trust them anymore than you do but Seth Rollins was almost begging me."
"Even more of a sign that this is nothing but a trap. You said Seth didn't mention Ambrose."
"Yeah," Bryan said as he opened the door. When they entered they found Roman and Seth sitting at a table. Roman was drinking a cup of coffee while Seth texted someone.
Seth looked up quickly when he heard the door open. "Oh good you guys came. You want some coffee or…"
"Let's cut to the chase. What do you want Rollins," Chris asked.
Seth sighed. "It's about Dean."
"What about him?" Bryan asked.
"I'm sure you guys know what happened to Punk or at least some kind of idea. Well we did help with it at Joe Louis Arena. I mean I'm the one who agreed first. Whoa Hero," Seth said upon seeing Chris' raised fist. "I didn't like it but it made sense."
"You better start getting to the point," Chris said, "before I knock your head off."
"Hunter's going to do it to Dean." Roman finally spoke up.
Bryan and Chris exchanged looks.
"We overheard Hunter talking to someone about it. Dean doesn't know about it and we really don't want him to know. Hunter's always considered him expendable. Making veiled threats about how he can get rid of him if he doesn't do exactly what he says. This time he was on the phone with them."
"What do you want us to do about it?" Chris asked.
"We want to help you take Hunter down."
