Natsu looked in the direction Gray was pointing. Both as surprised and scared than the other.

"Do you think..?"

"Yeah." Gray looked down sighing in response. They both looked down at what was there but none wanted to clarify or even move towards it.

"What are we gunner do? How should we tell the others?" Gray looked towards Natsu but was surprised at what he saw. Natsu was over down by what they had found and picked it up in his arms and was now walking past gray.

"We can't just stand here thinking about it."

"Natsu... Wha...!" Gray was shocked that Natsu was actually serious for once and to be honest it made him look cool and scary at the same time.

"Do you think they Lucy is OK?" Levy looked over towards the pub doors waiting for the four of them to walk in.

"I'm sure they're fine, I mean what's the worst that could happen? It's not like Juvia killed them all and the blonde brat." Gajeel was feeling cocky about himself and was smiling during the whole time they were waiting for Natsu and Gray to show up with Lucy and Layla showing that they both were ok. Everyone glared at Gajeel with a passion.

"Ha! I'm not the only one thinking it you all are thinking it. "What if she does get captured" that's what you are all thinking ISN'T IT?! AND YOU KNOW WHAT! YOU ARE ALL RIGHT! GEEHEEEE!"

"SHUT UP!" levy had shouted over Gajeel and his uncontrolled laughter. Now everyone was looking at the small blue haired girl.

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! She-she will –sniff- will come back-sniff-" after her little tantrum levy broke down into a million tears and Natsu and gray couldn't of picked the wrong moment to burst into the bar. All eyes fell upon them as they walked through the room; no one was interested in what state they were in all they could focus on was the limp figure that was dangling in Natsu's arms.

"Natsu? Gray?" Erza spoke first in all the tension, everyone was still uncertain of the situation. Was it all real? Was what they were seeing real?

"What did I say? Didn't I say that it was all true?" Gajeel was talking now but no one payed any attention. Natsu carefully placed the figure down and stared down at it.

"Oh wow! Now it's like a funeral in he-" Gajeel was cut off when something came in contact with his right cheek sending him flying towards the other side of the bar along with his chair.

"Hey what the hell!"

"You bastard! Don't you see what's going on here? Your little friend has taken Lucy..." Gajeel cut him up before he could finish,

"And what, you should be thanking me. Now you don't have that whiny brat holding you down." Gajeel was met with another punch in the face by Natsu. Natsu was now stalking over with his head down.

"Lucy is gone and Layla is DEAD! AND IT'S YOUR ENTIRE FAULT!" Natsu had tears rolling down his face as he fell to the floor landing on his knees then falling forward onto his hands.

"For all we know, Lucy could be dead as well. Don't you see, you and your comrades are killing innocent people; for what, money, pride or is it the joy of killing people."

"Actually..."

"Don't you dare answer that! I kicked your ass once and I can certainly and am happily to do again." Natsu had gotten to his knees and was now over flowing with rage and tears and it made everyone worry. On their faces was despair and fear. Natsu had never been like this before and now he's reacting like this? No one knows what to do or say.

"Grrr!"

"Gajeel Redfox, just remember who you are dealing with." Natsu stood up on his feet and glared down at Gajeel making him feel small and weak; once looking around Gajeel noticed everyone was looking at him in the same manner.

When Lucy opened her eyes she was surrounded by stone and she felt a pain in her heart but she didn't know why for any of them.

"Where am I?" She whispered to herself.

"You are in a secure place I assure you Lucy Heartfilia." Lucy looked around quickly to try and find the source of voice that was speaking to her.

"No need to worry my dear, soon everything will be fine and you will a beautiful family lifestyle once again and I will have riches beyond my dreams." The voice whispered that last part so only he could hear.

"Who are you? Show your face!" Lucy was turning her head in all direction to try and find the mysterious voice that was speaking to her from the shadows.

"My name is José Porla but you may call me Phantom Lord." A figure started to approach Lucy from in front; he was quite a tall a narrow figure.

"That's kind of a stupid name." Lucy tried to bite back a laugh that was crawling up her throat.

"You can judge now but we will be taking you home and you will live you happy little life and marry that... oh what was his name... Steve? Bing?"

"Sting?"

"Yes that's it!"

"You can never send me back there!" As Lucy was finishing what she was saying she noticed her mother wasn't with her.

"Wait! Where's my mum!? What have you done with her?! Keep you perverted self to yourself!?"

"Now, now my dear let's not rush to conclusions. My lovely assistant Juvia knows what happened. JUVIA!"

Coming from were José had approach from came the blue haired rain girl from before.

"I know you! You shot me!" Lucy fell back and started pointing at her.

"Yes. That was Juvia and she is really sorry for that but also Juvia has some bad news. You mother Layla is dead." Everything his Lucy like another bullet passed through her, her eyes widened and tears began to form.

"How? Who?"

"Juvia witnessed it all. The ones you called comrades killed her because it was part of their plan."

"No! I don't believe it! You are lying!"

"Juvia needs to finish. Juvia over heard that they were only getting close to you cause they knew you were a rich girl and by kidnapping you and your mother they could receive a large amount of money. But they knew you weren't going to be easy, so the planned that you would fall in love with one of them and gladly go along with them. Juvia also knows that once your father found out he tried to get you back by any means necessary," Flash backs kept coming to Lucy of all the time her father dragged her away from them.

"When just one person wasn't going to work getting you away they sent in another," Lucy thought of the time when Erza had come in Natsu's place,

"Juvia also knows that they wanted you in a city that they knew and were all the other plan making people were. That's why he took you to his home town."

"Wait then why did they come to me when I was engaged to Sting?"

"Juvia believes that was just a step back in their plan. And if you don't believe me here is a recording Juvia manage to get."

"So what are we going to do now?"

"I don't know but we have to act quickly. If she gets back then they will give her huge protection and that will be a problem to get the money." (Lucy knew those voices, they were Erza and Gray.)

"Don't worry. Right now Lucy is completely in love with me so even if she does get sent home it will only be a matter of days before she come running back or that I will save her as her prince in shining armour."

"Natsu" Lucy whispered to herself.

"So, you see my dear we were only trying to protect you from what those mean people were doing." Jose crouched down and wrapped an arm around Lucy to comfort her in the time of need.

"So they were tricking me and lying to me and also they killed my mother?!"

"Yes. Yes they did." Jose nodded in response. Lucy's face fell into her hands as she released all her tears and screams.
