Dear Readers,

This is a response to my earlier letter. I have thought long and hard about what I am going to say, and I think I have finally come to a conclusion (in Marilyn-style spirit).

First of all, I want to thank all of you that reviewed. Your input has greatly swayed me and impacted my decision-making in what I should decide for the future of Unexpected Relations. You all have my gratitude, and thank you for your input- whether or not you leaned towards no or yes.

Henceforth, I will move on to the issues I want to address here. There aren't many, but the ones that I do need to say (erm, write) are important.

Reviews for the rewrite were mixed. Some said that the story was good already (thank you), and that they'd enjoy a rewrite, while others leaned towards preserving the story. I think that I've come to a solution of sorts. I will rewrite the story, but it won't be the same one. It will include Marilyn, and Will's character, though his name will be different. It will have several components of the original story included, but will follow a different plot line.

Major differences are many. For one, the chapters will not be as long. They will be about 3-5k words, due to a review asking for shorter chapters. I will honor that request in the form of only posting one P.O.V. per chapter. As such, there will be many more chapters of shorter length. Some may be longer than others, but most will likely stay under 6k (no more 15k chapters, probably a godsend both for me and for you ;)).

Another difference is that Marilyn is being moved halfway across the country. She and Percy have had no real interaction, and as far as her experiences with monsters go... well, that's going to be a whole different story. This new version of Unexpected Relations will be much different, but it will hopefully contain many parts of the original story.

How is this a successful solution? You could argue that it's not. But in my eyes, I want to keep the original story for readers and still provide a newer, (hopefully) better written installment. I cannot possibly make all of you read my new story, but I encourage you to check it out. It's now posted, and will continue to be updated and hopefully be finished sometime by next year, as I am writing all three books in it.

Thanks go to all of you who have read this entire FanFic. Really. Thank you.
