This is the last official chapter of 'The Tail of Meliera Kane'. Actually, this is more of an epilogue. The sequel, which is going up tomorrow, is called "On a Matter of Twins". Should you be scared? Probably.
Three years after the Tenrou Island incident, in the middle of a forest somewhere in Friore, there was an explosion. After the smoke cleared, the wildlife could see a young girl, no older than fourteen.
"Ow…" she complained. Then she looked up. "Where in Earth-Land am I?" she wondered, and a thought occurred to her. "When am I? Gah! I hate time-travel!" She struggled to her feet, taking in the burning forest around her. "Aw, man. Dang it. I'm acting like I'm four again. Setting forests on fire. Come on, girl, you can do better than that. Now then. Where and when am I? I'm gonna have to find a town. Ugh. I hate walking." I hope I'm in the right time. Time travel is exhausting. Another thought hit her. What if I crossed his timeline wrong? He could be fifteen years older than me right now. Oh, boy. I'm going to have to find out the date as soon as possible. The girl stared into the distance determinedly. I'll find you, she vowed. Nothing will stop me, and I won't ever stop looking for you. I promise.
