"Come on, Chiara. Wake up." Kol was gently pushing Chiara. She was still sleeping and it did not look as if she intended to wake up. Kol smiled as she grabbed the glass of water beside Chiara. "Last chance, Chiara." He smirked.
She did not move and Kol emptied the glass above her. She rushed up to a sitting position and yelled, "you bastard!"
"I gave you a last chance."
"It is nine in the morning. Why are you waking me up?"
"I found her." He said as we walked out.
Chiara rushed after him, "you found Angie?"
"We need to go now. I don't how long she will stay there."
Chiara rushed in her room to get ready, and Kol smiled like a school boy as he observed her excitement. She rushed out and grabbed the car keys but threw them to Kol, "Well come on, Soft boy!"
"Are we friends now?" Kol smirked as he walked after her.
"Don't push it."
"So how come you give me the keys?"
"It is much faster this way. But do me a favour; Remember that if we die, only one of us will return."
Kol smirked as he rushed toward her in a high speed and grabbed her hand. He pulled her in his embrace and kissed her. It was brief but passionately, "well of course, I would not do that. I am finally getting to you." He let her go and walked on.
"You are not getting to me."
"of course I am. Otherwise your lips would burn me. Poetic, isn't it?"
"I had to get ready quickly?"
"And you trusted that I wouldn't do anything."
"No, I just forgot."
"You are losing it, darling."
Chiara followed him but she suddenly became aware that she was not ready to fight again Kol if it was necessary. But she continued. In the car, Kol glanced at her a couple of time. "Are you mad at me again?"
"I don't trust you."
Keep telling yourself that, Darling."
"As long as you understand it."
The rest of the drive was spent in silence until they reached an old building which was clearly abandoned. "We are here."
They both walked out of the car but Chiara let Kol walked first as she followed him suspiciously. They went in and the silence was deadly. The wind was loud inside there, and Chiara felt how her blood was rushing through her vain but more than that she felt an instinct. She moved closer to Kol, "does this place turn you on?"
"You are disgusting."
"You love me, and you know it."
Chiara decided not the answer him. Suddenly, she felt the urge to not say anything but to only listen. There was a new sound. The floor above them made a weird sound, and Kol looked back and pulled her closer to him. He grabbed her hands and walked slowly toward the elevator. The sound continued. When they stood in the elevator, Kol whispered, "stay near me at all time!"
The elevator moved up and the doors opened, but nothing was out there. Slowly, they walked out and Kol walked first. He looked around and pulled Chiara closed to him. He never let go of her hand as he looked around in the room. He held her hand tighter and tighter, "you are hurting me."
"It is nothing compared to be death. Trust me I know."
"You are being paranoid."
"You would be too if you could hear someone breathe"
"what?"
Suddenly, Kol stood in front of her as a large piece of wood drilled through his back. He fell down on his knees.
"Kol!" She cried
She bent down but something pulled her up and pushed her toward the wall. It took a while but she recognized the girl holding her throat. "Angie? Angie stop! IT is me! Let me go!" Chiara yelled. But Angie just kept pushing hard. Her expression remained cold, and she held tighter around her neck. "Angie!" Chiara cried.
