Triforce: Hey guys and welcome to Chapter 25 of- Wait a minute! *turns to Lavi* Lavi, why am I doing an A/N at the beginning of a "The Noah Curse" chapter?
Lavi: I wanted you to read this letter after you wake up from your insanity, and I thought, "Why not convince Triforce to do a A/N at the beginning of a chapter?"
Triforce: *sweat drop* Let me see the letter. *takes letter and reads it* Dear Triforce, We have kidnapped Allen after you lost your sanity. We are having a lot of fun with him, but if you want him back, come over at the Black Ark and we will release him. Sincerely, Road Camelot and Tyki Mikk.
Lavi: THOSE NOAH KIDNAPPED ALLEN DURING AN A/N WHEN I WAS PUTTING YOU TO BED?! THOSE BASTARDS!
Triforce: Well, should we go rescue Allen or sit around doing nothing?
Lavi: I vote "RESCUE ALLEN" because I don't like the idea of him being in the hands of the Noah Clan.
Triforce: So, why are we sitting around here for, LET'S GO! We're going to take the White Escape.
Lavi: White Escape?
Triforce: It's that white truck in my driveway. *points to it*
Lavi: Why can't we take that vehicle? *points at my dad's red T-Bird* We'll have fun, fun, fun in it!
Triforce: Yeah, until my dad takes it away! It's not insured yet and it's missing a steering wheel.
Lavi: Okay, but what about-
Triforce: LAVI, JUST GET IN THE ESCAPE! IT'S THE ONLY VEHICLE I CAN DRIVE! And besides, we can't stand in the cold all day, so let's get in. I'll let you watch YouTube video's on my laptop until we get there, while the readers can read Chapter 25 of "The Noah Curse"
Lavi: AWSOME! *gets in the passengers side of Escape*
Triforce: *gets in the driver side of Escape* Now before we go, Lavi, can you do the disclaimer before I give you my laptop?
Lavi: Triforce doesn't own DGM or the song "Fun Fun Fun" by Beach Boys. *receives my laptop*
Chapter 25 – Departure
Isaac and Katarina are sitting on the sofa in Komui's office with CROW members guarding them as Levierre is lecturing them.
"Sneaking into a restricted area, breaking into a prison cell and letting Allen Walker escape with the Noah is far beyond unacceptable!" he snaps, "You two should be ashamed of yourselves!"
Isaac and Katarina bow their heads down in shame.
"For all the errors you have done, you are both suspended from your exorcist privileges for a whole month." the inspector punishes, "You're not allowed to use your anti-akuma weapons or be assigned with any mission."
He turns to Komui, who is sitting at his desk and says, "That goes for Miss Lee, as well."
"WHAT?! YOU CAN'T PUNISH MY SWEET ADORABLE SISTER!" he retorts.
"She was involved in these crimes as well, so she must suffer the same fate as these two."
"I STILL WON'T ALLOW IT!"
"She would stay around longer and you wouldn't have to worry about her getting hurt on a mission."
Komui calms down and says, "Well, I can't argue with that. She still needs some time to recover."
After a split second, he starts freaking out again, knowing that his sister is hurt. Lenalee is currently in the infirmary, after Levierre and the CROW members found her, Isaac and Katarina in the prison area. Isaac worries about Lenalee. He wishes he was by her side when she was fighting Tyki Mikk after they ran out of Allen's cell, if it hadn't been for a brainwashed Katarina. He's happy that Katarina is back to normal, but now Lenalee is in a crisis. Her fight with Tyki could've been fatal and he wants to see if she's okay. Komui stops freaking out and sees Isaac's damage book.
"Isaac, what happen to your book?" he asks in a concern voice.
Isaac bows his head and stares at his book and replies, "It stopped working… I pushed myself too hard… Road did something to Katarina to control her mind… I had to do something to get Katarina back to normal, so I used my book to heal her mind when I pinned her down…"
"His innocence isn't destroyed," Katarina adds, "But it does look different than when I first saw it."
Komui comes up to Isaac and takes the book. He looks at the damages of it and states, "Hmm, there's nothing I could do about this. This book is getting ready to turn to dust."
He turns his attention to Katarina and asks, "So your saying Isaac's innocence is still living, but it wouldn't activate for him?"
Katarina nods her head. Komui shifts his gaze back to Isaac says, "I'll take this book to Hevalaska and I'm not going to return it until your punishment is over."
Isaac nods his head, understanding what his supervisor is saying. Levierre dismisses the two suspended exorcists as Isaac and Katarina leaves the room. Several Central Cardinals enters the office for the meeting.
"Chief Komui, what proposal are you planning for the sake of this meeting?" one of them asks.
"It's Allen Walker. We need him back here alive." Komui replies.
"And how are we going to do that?" another cardinal asks.
Komui grabs a headset and starts another announcement to the whole order.
"Attention all exorcists and CROW units, your mission is to capture Allen Walker!" he commands, "Don't worry about the other Noahs; our highest priority is to bring Allen Walker back alive! Search the premises if he's still here!"
Isaac and Katarina are walking down the halls after their punishment. The teal haired man still thinks about Lenalee and worries about her condition, so he decides to head to the infirmary to visit his friend.
"Isaac…" Katarina calls out softly, "Where are you going?"
Isaac turns to his red headed friend and says, "I'm going to see if Lenalee is recovering after her fight. Do you want to come?"
Katarina stares at him for a bit and replies, "Sure, I have nothing else better to do."
Isaac smiles and about to take her hand, but she shifts it away and says, "I said I'll come with you to visit Lenalee. Not to be escorted there."
Isaac sighs and heads to the direction where the infirmary is. Katarina follows him until they reach their destination. Once they get to the infirmary they meet up with the head nurse and ask her if they would see Lenalee.
"How long are you two going to visit her for?" the Nurse asks.
"About a couple minutes." Isaac replies.
The head nurse nods and escorts him and Katarina into the infirmary to see Lenalee. She tells them to use inside voices, so they can not disturb the other patients. The nurse leaves the two of them with Lenalee and both Isaac and Katarina look down at her. She is currently sleeping and there are bandages wrap around her forehead, torso, arms and legs. She begins to moan quietly as she slowly opens her eyes to see Isaac and Katarina standing above her. Isaac smiles warmly, happy to see she's waking up and she smiles back.
"Hi Lenalee, how are you feeling?" Isaac asks gently.
"I-I feel a little better… then I did before…" she softly replies.
Lenalee turns to see Katarina and say hi to her, as the red head did the same to her.
"So, Levierre has suspended our exorcist rights for a month for trespassing in the prison area." "Isaac notes to his green haired friend.
"A month…?" she asks quietly.
"We're suspended on going on missions and we can't use our anti-akuma weapons until further notice. But it's okay. You need the time to recover from your injuries."
Katarina looks at the condition Lenalee is in. She sees that the green haired woman's physical body is restoring slowly, the blood is flowing normally and she is breathing healthy, but seeing her on an infirmary bed reminds her of her older sister, Cianna. When she saw her sister lying in the hospital, the heart was slowing down; there were blood clots in her lungs, she was hardly breathing and there were other grotesque features Katarina didn't want to think about. That memory lingers in her mind like glue and she wishes she could forget about it, but why does seeing Lenalee in the infirmary remind her of Cianna if the conditions are different. Lenalee's state seems painful, but she does have a chance in living compare to her sister. Katarina couldn't get the thought out of her head. She wonders why she chose to follow Isaac in the infirmary if a horrible memory comes back in her head. Without realising it, she slowly grabs Isaac's hand and squeezes it tightly. After feeling Katarina's touch, Isaac takes a quick glace at her and his cheeks glow pink. He turns back to Lenalee, who looks sad and tears are peaking from her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Isaac asks in concern.
"A-Allen…" she says in a whisper, "I'm worried about him…"
Isaac nods his head as he gently touches Lenalee's hand.
"He'll be fine." he says, "Let's hope he didn't get captured again by the Noahs."
Lenalee smiles lightly and then she closes her eyes.
"I hope that's true…" she softly replies as she falls asleep.
Isaac let's go of her hand, noticing that Lenalee needs her rest. He turns to Katarina, who is now clinging onto his arm like a lost child, but she keeps her gaze onto Lenalee.
"It looks like our visiting time is over." Isaac says to Katarina, "Let's let her rest for now. She needs her energy."
She didn't take her eyes off of Lenalee, even when she is following Isaac out of the infirmary. She keeps thinking to herself, 'Lenalee's not going die. She's not like my sister.', but she didn't look away. As they walk out of the infirmary, Isaac looks back at Katarina and asks, "So, how long are you going to be hugging my arm for?"
She turns to him and notice she is embracing his arm. Her face glows in a bright red as she hesitantly lets go. Isaac chuckles a bit after seeing her reaction. She glares at him a little bit and then she turns away.
"What you saw was a mistake…" she quietly says in a low tone.
Isaac raises his eyebrow in question and asks, "Are you sure? You've been pretty clingy when we visited Lenalee."
Katarina didn't say a word. Isaac stares at the back of her head for a few minutes until she turns her head halfway.
"I have a hospital problem, that's all…" she replies quietly.
"You know you didn't have to come if you have a hospital problem." Isaac explains.
"Well, it was my fault for coming." she says as she starts walking down the halls.
Isaac tilts his head, watching his friend go.
'Sometimes I don't understand her.' he thinks to himself.
He turns the opposite direction and head that way he hear someone running behind him, touching his right shoulder.
"Is Lenalee going to be alright?" the voice belongs to Katarina, sounding very concern.
Isaac turns to her and stares at her worried crimson eyes.
"She reminds me of my older sister when she was in a hospital," Katarina explains, "But Lenalee's condition seems better then hers and I can't seem to stop comparing the two of them together. But why am I worrying about her if I know she is going to be okay?!"
Tears peak from Katarina's eyes with frustration and confusion. Isaac looks at her face, feeling bad about her as he places his hands on her shoulders.
"You never told me you had a sister." Isaac says, "Is that why you have hospital problems?"
She nods her head.
"Do you mind talking about her and see if it relieves the stress?" Isaac asks.
"How could talking about my dead sister solve anything?" Katarina retorts.
"You'll be surprised on how much stress it reduces."
She stares back at him with a little bit of frustration and then she sighs.
"I don't usually like talking about my past, but if you insist, I'll tell you about my sister." Katarina starts, "She was suffering from lung cancer. When I saw her in the hospital, I could see her condition. It wasn't just the outside I saw, but the inside as well."
Isaac's eyes widens as he hears the Katarina had seen the inside of her sister.
"Her heart is failing, she is breathing poorly and there were blood clots in her lungs, but there were more disgusting feature, which I don't want to bother explaining because it's too horrible to bare. I've seen her die after the pain and suffering is over and all I could ever do was cry."
Isaac looks at her with sympathy and says, "So that why your uncomfortable in-"
"After we left the hospital and went to my sister's funeral, my mother tried to resurrect her from the dead from the stranger named the Millennium Earl." Katarina interrupts as she keeps rambling on, "He summons a skeleton and my sister's name is engraved on it. It spoke in my sister's voice, blaming my mother for turning her into an akuma and…"
She trails off and bows her head, closing her eyes and then she whispers, "She killed her…"
"How long have you had those thoughts?" Isaac asks.
"Seven year…" Katarina replies, "Seven long years, and those memories never cease to haunt me."
Isaac eyes narrows to hers, as his face becomes serious and says, "I know losing your family is hard, but sometimes we have to push it aside. I know… It was hard for me when I lost my parents, but I manage to move on with my life and set those memories aside. I am sorry that you've lost your sister and your mother, but you need to let go. If you let those emotions engulf you, you wouldn't progress as much."
Isaac pulls her into a hug and whispers in her ear, "Please put those memories behind you. It with make you stronger and confident if you did."
Isaac pulls away as Katarina stares back at him. She then looks at her hand as she curls it into a fist and opens it again. She gazes back at Isaac and uncontrollably hugs him. He is confused with her action as his face reddens. Katarina releases him and then she runs further down the hallway. Isaac watches her go, still feeling a little puzzled about her sudden embrace. He knows Katarina's mood tends to switch, but that hug came from the blue.
'Does she 'like' me?" Isaac thinks to himself.
He shoves the thought aside as he wanders down the halls until he gets to his room.
Lavi is in the forest, searching for Allen, because Komui assigned all exorcists and CROW members to capture his white headed friend. He turns to his mentor, who also joins the search party and ask, "What if Allen already escaped."
"Now is not the time to ask questions, Lavi." Bookman says sternly, "Just keep your eyes peeled if you spot him."
Lavi turns away from his mentor and starts wondering off in the forest. He is tired and he wants to go to bed, but he is assigned to capture Allen. He didn't have a chance to see his friend after Isaac came back from his last mission, so he doesn't know if Komui removed Allen's collar or not. Lavi keeps running alone in the forest until he sees a familiar young man with white hair, wearing a white coil and there is a gateway in front of him.
"ALLEN!" Lavi calls his name.
Before the white haired boy enters through the gate, he turns around to see his friend, who activates his hammer and points it towards him.
"Big Hammer, Little Hammer, EXTEND!" Lavi commands his innocence as his hammer extends to get to Allen, but he dodges the attack and stares straight at his friend.
"Lavi, what are you doing?!" Allen exclaims.
Lavi looks closely at his friend's neck and notice there is no collar on him. He then looks at the gate and back to Allen and asks, "You're not planning on betraying us for the Noah, are you?"
"I wasn't planning on that." Allen says calmly, "But I can't stay here either if I'm only going to be treated like a prisoner."
"Then what are you planning Allen?!" Lavi yells, "What are you planning on doing if you leave the Order?"
Allen chuckles innocently and replies, "We're still on the same side, Lavi. Neah and I both have a common goal, and it is to take down the Millennium Earl."
"Neah?" Lavi asks, "You mean that Noah, who sometime takes control of you? Did he tell you fully why he wants to destroy the Millennium Earl?"
Allen shakes his head and says, "No, I don't exactly know why Neah wants to kill the Millennium Earl."
He thinks deeper in his head, thinking about the dreams that link to Neah, like how the Earl killed his mother in front of Mana.
"Never stop, keep walking."
Allen hears that quote in his head, but it wasn't from Mana, it was from Neah. He had a dream when his uncle was dying and Mana was by his side, begging him to stay alive, but all Neah could tell him was he should never stop and always keep walking until the day he dies. It's a similar situation when Allen lost Mana and he told him the same thing that Neah told him when he died. Allen looks back up at Lavi and finishes his reply by saying, "I think Neah is doing this for my foster father, Mana."
"Mana?" Lavi asks.
"They were brothers, Lavi." Allen notes, "Brothers who are really close to each other. If he is doing it for a loved one, then I trust him to fight the Millennium Earl."
Lavi still gives Allen a concern look and ask, "Are you sure we could trust him?"
Allen walks up to Lavi and replies, "Yes, I do trust him."
The red head still gives him a sceptical stare as Allen smiles warmly.
"I always loved the Order and all the friends I came to know, including you, Lenalee, Krory, Miranda, Komui, Bookman, everyone, especially Kanda. I'll miss having those awesome meals Jerry usually makes, I'll miss hanging out with you and Lenalee, heck I'll even miss hearing you call me bean sprout." the white head admits.
"You still are a bean sprout." Lavi teases.
"It's Allen you idiot." Allen says with less enthusiasm compare to how he usually says it as he walks over to his friend and gives him a hug.
"Please don't waste your time following me; because you'll only put yourself into trouble." the white head says, "This applies for everyone I care about in the Order… especially Lenalee."
He pulls back from Lavi and asks, "Please tell her not to worry about me, because I would be seeing her someday."
Allen walks away from his red headed friend, saying his final farewells to him as he walks through the Ark gate. Lavi calls after his friend, but it is too late. The gateway shatters after Allen left and the red head couldn't follow his friend to the Ark. He hears foot steps coming from behind him, so he turns around to see Krory and Miranda coming his way.
"Lavi, have you found Allen yet?" Miranda asks hesitantly.
Lavi looks down at the grass beneath his feet and tells them he got away. Miranda starts freaking out, worrying if Allen is going to cause disaster after hearing that her white headed friend is a Noah. Krory is crying in disbelief yelling, "THAT CAN'T BE TRUE! ALLEN CAN'T BETRAY US!"
"He's not going to betray us." Lavi says calmly, "He mentioned the Noah within him wants to take down the Earl as well, but he doesn't know the true reason why he wants to defeat the Earl."
"S-so Allen is still our friend?" Krory asks shakily.
"As far as I know he is…" Lavi replies.
"BUT WHY DID HE GO OFF ALONE?!" Miranda cries, "WHAT IF HE GETS HURT?!"
"Calm down, Miranda, I'm worried about him too." Lavi says as he touches Miranda's shoulders, "The poor kid hardly has anywhere to go. I hope he doesn't get captured again by the Noah family or get killed."
"Wh-what should we do now, Lavi?" Krory asks.
"We should return to the Order and tell Komui that Allen is nowhere to be found."
Triforce: Hey guys, thanks for reading. This is probably my least favourite chapter so far.
Lavi: Why is that?
Triforce: Well I was thinking about ideas about moving the story along, but I was kind of suffering from writer's block and couldn't come up with better ideas. Some parts look absurd to me, but I just want to progress through the story and maybe I can find better ideas. Anyway, we just arrived to the Black Ark, so let's go save Allen.
Lavi: Okay! Let's open the door, get on the floor, EVERYBODY DO THE-
Triforce: *slaps hand on Lavi's mouth* *whispers* Lavi, do you want the Earl to find us. *releases hand from his mouth*
Lavi: Well, the Noah are kinda expecting us.
Triforce: ...Good point. *walk into the Ark with Lavi and spots Tyki*
Lavi: *charges at Tyki and slams him to the wall* Alright Noah, WHERE'S ALLEN WALKER!
Triforce: *grabs triforce shuriken* Where is he, Tyki.
Tyki: Maybe you should ask Road that question.
Road: *skips towards us* Ask me what?
Triforce: I received a letter indicating that you have kidnapped Allen during the time I've lost my sanity. So where is Allen?
Road: I'll give you a hint. He is in a room where he can get shot. Some bullets are lethal and some are just fun, but he wouldn't be able to get shot because there are two missing items that are required for that job.
Triforce: Thanks Road, that helps a lot. (To Lavi) come on Lavi let's go.
Lavi: Right. *follows Triforce down the hallway*
Triforce: *singing* I think I know where Allen is, but I'm not going to say anything yet~ *grabs a door knob* *sings* Because I know two idiots, who are going to be- *slams open door and draws both of Jasdevi's guns* Dead!
Jasdevi: *screams* WHAT DO YOU WANT?! WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!
Triforce: Oh no? *points at a tied up Allen on the floor*
David: We were just having fun. We didn't do anything too serious to the pupil.
Jasdero: Yeah, hee, hee! Why would you think that?
Triforce: Because you two are messed up, *point guns at them* Now let Allen go or suffer the consequence.
Jasdevi: Ahh! *unties Allen* Okay, the apprentice is free! don't shoot us!
Triforce: *sighs* Allen, are you alright?
Allen: *nods*
Triforce: *hugs Allen* That's good. *pulls back* Please don't get kidnapped in an A/N again.
Allen: I didn't mean to get kidnapped.
Lavi: I'm sorry Allen, I didn't mean to leave you alone with the Noahs in the room. You could've came with me when I was putting Triforce in bed.
Allen: I guess I wasn't thinking straight.
Triforce: Well THINK STRAIGHTER NEXT TIME! (To Readers) This was a ridiculously long A/N. Anyway, I already confirmed I'm not putting yaoi in this story. If you're getting the wrong idea, that farewell at the end is not suppose to be Laven. I hope you guys already know that. I am already closing the poll for "What story I should make next." Yaoi wins with 5 points and everything else is tied last with 2 points. I am opening another poll for "What Yaoi story should I do" because I have a couple ideas I have in mind. I am getting close to the end and it might take 3 or more chapters for it to be finished. If you have any questions, ideas or requests.
Allen, Lavi and Jasdevi: Please Review!
Triforce: Also leave a fav or follow.
Another Disclaimer: I also don't own the Markiplier references, like the part when Lavi yells "WHERE'S ALLEN WALKER?!" which suppose to sound like "WHERE'S THE BLACKSMITH?!" or when Lavi attempt to sing, "EVERYBODY DO THE DINOSAUR!" or the singing part I sang, thinking I know where Allen is, which Markiplier sang a similar version in a prop hunt video, thinking he knows where Wade is.
