Chapter 25: Shopping Spree!

"Good morning, Anna!" Finn chimed in Anna's ear. It was 06:00 and Anna knew that she had a big, important day ahead of her. However, she was unsure of how patient she would be. Anna rolled out of bed and threw on her rain boots. There was no rain in the sky, but she felt lazy that morning; antsy for the evening, but too lazy to work.

"You're going to go work on your ranch in your pajamas and boots?" Finn's eyebrow raised in disapproval.

"What about it?" Anna looked down at her attire. She wore a baggy black night shirt that touched her knees and bright yellow rain boots.

"Anna," Finn teased, "I hope that Wizard doesn't see you, especially if you look look like that you're not wearing any pants."

"Oh please..." Anna rolled her eyes, "I am just going to tend to Chuck and Bells first. I'll be back inside to change before I work on the garden."

Finn floated into the kitchen and pulled out a spoon and his favorite cereal. He continued to tease Anna, "I wonder what Wizard would think if he saw you in your pajamas?"

"Do my pajamas really bother you Finn?" Anna walked over to Finn and helped him poem out the colorful flakes onto his spoon.

"Well, you do need a outfit for tonight..." Finn hinted to Anna.

Anna slammed the box down on the counter next to Finn, and she placed her hands on her hips, "What else do I need, Finn?"

"Well..." Finn took a bite of his cereal and then flew to Anna's closet. He shuffled through Anna's clothes. Anna slowly followed after him and caught a glimpse of him moving her clothes off hangers.

Anna propped her hands on her hips again, "Are you trying to tell me that my whole wardrobe needs a new look?"

Finn turned around and nodded at Anna. He looked innocent and Anna knew that she could not be mad at him for being honest. Anna sighed and removed all of her clothes from her hangers and threw them on the floor. Finn grinned as Anna said, "Well, I better hurry with my chores and call some of the girls. Hopefully, they will have some advice on clothing shopping." Anna shuffled through mess and quickly changed, "Finn, can you bag these? I want to see if Candace, Shelly, or Luna could use this as material."

"All right! Just hurry! You have a big day today!"

"And I have an even bigger night." Anna winked at her friend and walked out of the room.

"Hey Kathy and Maya!" Anna waved hello to her two best friends.

"Long time no see Anna!" Kathy waved hello.

Maya ran up to Anna and hugged her, "Oh my goodness! Do we ever have so much to tell you!"

"Well, I am all ears, Maya!" Anna giggled and walked into the Tailoring Shop with two large bags in hand.

"Well, well!" Shelly smiled, "What do we have here?" Shelly moved around the counter and looked through Anna's bags.

"I need a new wardrobe and I thought that maybe you could use my old clothing for material" Anna placed her bags on the counter.

Shelly took the bags and placed them behind the counter. "Thank you, Anna! Pick out whatever clothing that you and your friends may find!"

"Thank you Shelly!" Kathy examined every item that was on display. Maya bounced through the aisles and grabbed whatever she thought that looked pretty. Anna followed Kathy's approach and looked more cautiously.

"Excuse me, Anna," Candace gently spoke, "If you need to have something altered, please do not be afraid to ask Luna or myself."

"Thank you, Candace." Anna smiled, "Actually, if you don't mind, I am also looking for something..." Anna blushed at the thought.

Candace giggled and took Anna's hands. "I think I know exactly what you're looking for." Candace eased Anna's worries. Then walked away to whisper something into her younger sister's, Luna's, ear. Luna nodded and Candace disappeared into the back room.

"What was that about?!" Maya pried into Anna's business.

Kathy laughed, "Well, I'll be!"

"What!?" Maya shouted. She was completely lost which made Kathy laugh even more.

"Little Miss Anna here has a crush on someone that we don't know about!" Kathy drilled a hole through Anna.

"Is it that obvious?" Anna blushed and looked down. She fiddled with her hands and thought about Wizard.

"It wasn't at first, but after your conversation with Candace, your face was readable like a book." Kathy pulled out her outfit choice, "And I think that this will make his jaw drop." Kathy held out a short red dress with gold floral print.

"Wow!" Anna gasped, "That is pretty!" Anna ran her fingers along the material, "And it's silk!"

"No!" Maya pouted, "He will love this dress!" Maya's pick was a yellow collared, green and orange dress. In the orange fabric one could see tiny white cross-stitched lines.

"Oh please..." Luna snorted, "You two obviously have no taste in today's fashion!" She held out a brown and black dress. The dress that Luna picked had an oval opening by the chest area and it was clamped together again at the neck.

"Oh wow!" Anna said in awe, "These are all beautiful dresses girls! I can't even decide which one I would want!"

"You don't have to choose, Anna," Candace's shy voice returned. Anna turned and saw her holding a red, black, and white dress with a red choker and black and white gloves.

"Oh my goodness!" Anna gasped in shock, "This is absolutely amazing Candace!"

"I made this awhile ago, but I was waiting for the right moment to put it on display." Candace's pale complexion pinked from Anna's compliment.

"Wow!" Kathy chimed in as well, "That is beautiful and it will suit you perfectly, Anna!"

"Where's my pretty dress, Candace?!" Maya teased.

"I'll take it!" Anna decided. "I'll have the other dresses as well!" Anna picked out some suitable work clothes and made her purchases. "Thank you all so much for helping me!"

"What are friends for?" Kathy smiled.

"I think you still owe us an explanation, Anna." Maya placed her hands on her hips and tapped her foot impatiently.

"I did promise that I would tell you..." Anna sighed with a smile, "The person that I like is differently from the other boys in town and I can relate very much to him."

"Who is he!" Maya whined.

Anna looked around at the room and noticed all of their eyes were on her. She did not like this much attention being drawn on her. Anna became suddenly nervous as she stammered out, "I... like... Wizard..."

Everyone shrieked.

"You like the wizard?" Kathy started the chain of questions.

"What is he like?" Candace was next.

Luna followed, "Have you two kissed yet?!"

"Does he like cookies!?" Maya ended the chain.

Anna blushed even more and tackled each question one by one.

Author's Note: Typical Maya... right? Anyway, I just realized that Finn being so blunt is not really like him... hmm... oh well! CHARACTER TWIST! =D Please continue to read and review! Since most of the readers are in school right now and stress levels are pretty high, I will post another chapter on Monday. It will not be a super long chapter, but it will turn your frowns upside down! I have faith that you all can do it because you all are amazing! Thank you again!
