Chapter 25: Someone Like You

The spot where her husband had laid felt warm as she stretched out her arm to feel him muttering his name but at las he was not laying next to her which meant he must have left not too long ago from their bed.
A groan escaped her mouth as she slowly sat up holding the thick duvet over her chest hiding her naked form from the morning breeze that filled their room.
As she looked around the room his shirt was still laying on the floor nor did she hear the water running from the shower to indicate that the silver haired male was getting ready to leave to the Association headquarters.
When she heard someone ringing the bell of their home Kanna moved to grab her husband white shirt off of the floor and button the piece of clothing onto the form. Her feet moved lightly as she walked towards the front door stopping by the stairs corner wall feeling Kaname's presence in their home.
She was listening to the conversation as her husband spoke ordering the male pureblood Kuran to leave their home. Kanna knew Kaname would retaliate since her male pureblood friend was not keen on staying home with his younger sister since her disloyalty with him.
She felt guilty for sleeping with Zero now that Kaname was being so loyal to her since they found out about her pregnancy.
But as she heard the words that came out of the purebloods mouth towards Zero she felt angered and betrayed once more.
"Of course I will return the woman who is carrying my child is staying in this home" His voice was filled with confidence and pride as he spoke those words to Zero.
What had Kaname to gain to tell the male hunter such lie about the child she was carrying what purpose?
Her eyes narrowed as she thought more about the comment the male pureblood made to the man she started to become fond of, her affections even growing to something she did not want to admit to. Kanna was to afraid that if she finally admitted the feelings she harbored for Zero that it would all fall apart and he would leave just like Isaya did when she confessed her feelings to him.
She would have intervene before Kaname would make things worse for both herself and Zero.
Kaname was the head of the senate and her husband the hunter association president anger and conflict between the leaders meant that both war and conflict would arise between the two races that was something she did not want not over anything and most importantly not over herself.
"Ohayo Kaname" She smiled as she pulled down the white shirt she was wearing that belonged to her husband as she walked down the stairs of her home.
As she reached beside her husband she greeted him as well, "Ohayo my love"
She could see that her husband was taken aback by the public affection in front of the male pureblood while Kaname had a distained look on his face.
She placed a gentle had on her husband's back before informing him of the time, "You will be late you should get ready"

It was about a good five minutes since the silver haired hunter had left the home. Kaname Kuran sat quietly by the kitchen island starring at the black cup of coffee that Kanna had served him just few moments ago before going upstairs to change into a more appropriate outfit.
My love?...was she joking it was only last night that she telling him of how much the hunter angered her. How much he had betrayed her.
He left for one night and finds his woman in that bastards arms calling him my love. Kaname had to take a deep breath before the building would come crashing down and as he heard kanna coming down the stairs with a pair of grey jeans and a black v neck shirt he found his anger calming down but his excitement rising when he realized they would be alone together.
She looked so utterly beautiful, so ravishing with her hair tips wet from taking a quick shower. Her thick dark lock tied into a messy bun while the water dropped onto her bare neck how ravishing she looked so delicious something he wanted devour until he would be satisfied.
As Kanna took a seat opposite of him after pouring herself a cup of coffee with milk well in her case it was milk with coffee the female pureblood had such sweet tooth she reminded him of a child.
"Kaname" her voice was not one that contained kindness and fondness she usually had when speaking to him.
Kaname for once in all of their years of friendship was being addressed as an enemy.
"What is your intention saying those words to Zero?"
The room was silently the noise of their breathing could not even be heard but the noise from the hustle and bustle from outside of the home entered the ears of the vampires.
"My intention?" Kaname laughed lightly as he took a sip of his coffee.
"Do not play with me Kaname, I am not your ignorant sister." Kanna's voice dripped with venom as she spoke aggressively towards the male Kuran.
As his red eyes bore into her own she knew she was stepping on dangerous grounds Kaname Kuran was no ordinary pureblood and was much stronger then her being of the Kuran line. Not only did he have Kuran blood running through his vines the man sitting across from her was an ancestor one of the first of their kind someone who could control even her kill even her. She would have no chance if they fought each other.
She was many things but stupid was not one of them.
"Kanna" the brunette haired male stood up from his seat making the other pureblood in the room tense up as he approached her.
She did not move as his hand moved one of wet strands behind her ear moving his lips close her cheek whispering something she truly feared.
"Even you cannot deny me Kanna" and as she tried to move her hand to push the man away trying to make distance he had already said it.
"Do not move" he had enchanted her words that vampire used to seduce their prey to make them do whatever they wanted.
A power like this would not have affected her if the man that was starring at her with those bloody red eyes was a normal pureblood vampire but instead he was an ancestor her body had no other choice but to obey his command of their owner.
His lips moved gently against her cheek laying a light kiss upon it as his moved towards her stomach.
The baby
Kanna felt fear run through her vines as the thought entered her mind of the child she was carrying would be harmed.
"I want you Kanna, all of it." As his lips moved to her neck as the pink muscle dared out to lick and lay a kiss upon it he continued.
"You will do as I command you too. You will leave Zero when I tell you too and stand beside me and become my bride."
She wanted to say something and he could see it within her eyes so he released the command that he had laid upon her waiting for her to speak.
"If I do not do as you wish what will happen?"
She knew the moment that infamous smirk formed upon his lips what would befall her if she denied him of his wishes.
Her hand fisted together in her lap and she spoke to him of her condition.
"I understand but…please let me have this child…let me stay by him a bit longer." Her eyes dripped with hurt and sorrow being so afraid to lose the man she started to love now she was being pulled away from him with no other choice.
"I will not accept that Kanna"
Her hands reached out grasping the front of his trench coat her face facing the floor as the white tile was being drenched in her tears.
"Please Kaname I beg of you..I will love you for eternity." Kaname moved his hands taking her face between his fingers making her look up at him as he spoke.
"You will give me children, heirs to call my own" she nodded fervently saying 'as many as you want'
"very well I shall agree to your conditions..but.." as he moved her face closer to his own he whispered another condition for her to keep her child in the womb. "You shall not lay with him again, do you understand?"
She waited before answering it felt like eternity but in reality it was less than second before she answered the male Kuran.
"Yes" his lips came crashing down onto her own not hiding the passion he was containing for her.
