Chapter Twenty-Five: Surprise Help
Stampy wasn't the slightest bit happy when he realized HitTheTarget had fled. He murmured 'Murphy' under his breath. Scientists to this day have still been arguing with each other, trying to figure out why Stampy decided to murmur 'Murphy', and not something like 'Dennis' instead.
This didn't matter though. What mattered was the fact that they were getting overrun by skeletons. Squid shot yet another arrow at a skeleton that was seconds before, pulling back his bow and preparing to shoot Stampy. Stampy said thank you by stealing Squid's spare bow and a few arrows. He used these to ping a few enemies. The problem was; they just kept on coming. The two friends eventually ran out of arrows, and Sqaishey, Amy, Lee, and Ash were getting cornered with nothing to do.
"Stop!" yelled a voice.
Everyone did as they were told turned to see who said stop. HitTheTarget stood on a platform in the corner of the room. He seemed angry. He jumped down off the platform - cape swaying and all - took out his bow and walked towards the group who were all huddled for protection.
The villain scowled at them as he walked, slowly but surely, towards them.
"You have survived all of my attacks. Very good," he said. "But now, I finally think your time is up."
He pulled back his bow and pointed it at Stampy personally, as his skeletons aimed at the others.
HitTheTarget chuckled. "Bet you never saw this coming."
But moments before letting the arrow fly, the wall to the left of him blew open and a diamond blue oval-shaped spaceship flew through it, and crashed into the ground taking HitTheTarget with it.
The windshield of the ship opened to reveal a man wearing a black jacket, blue undershirt, blue pants, golden knee and elbow pads, and a pair of blue goggles.
"Dan?" Stampy asked bewildered.
Sqaishey sighed dreamily looking at Dan in his heroic pose, making Stampy feel uneasy. He shook away the thought and decided to work on fighting HitTheTarget, who was at the moment crawling out from underneath Dan's ship.
"Come 'ere you punk." Dan said pulling out his diamond sword and jumping down to the floor.
HitTheTarget skittered away making his way towards the exit. Stampy and the others didn't agree on Target's plan, so they ran past the fainting-in-bewilderment skeletons and cornered him at the wall of the too-high-to-reach-that-you-are-supposed-to-be-able-to-reach-but-can't doors. The gang was winning.
Before Stampy could say something witty and clever that you're supposed to say before you catch you arch nemesis, a familiar roar was heard. Well, familiar to Stampy and Sqaishey.
The ceiling collapsed under the weight of massive dark feet.
The ground thumped as the feet landed.
The shelves and bookcases in the room were destroyed by giant outstretched wings.
The checkered floor tiles were watered by drooling purple saliva.
The walls were cracked by the swinging black tail.
The fear was given by evil purple eyes.
The skeletons ears were broken by the enormous cackling roar.
The Ender Dragon walked forward, ready for supper.
