Three Weeks Until Battleground

"Hey beautiful," Seth Rollins wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, Daphne Anne, who was wearing her black, cat woman-like bodysuit that was exactly like the one that she wore for Money in the Bank. Daphne smirked as she kissed her boyfriend on the lips, "You look so beautiful tonight." he smirked as Daphne snickered.

"Thanks babe, you're looking hot in your outfit," she placed her hands on the neck of his smooth new ring attire that she couldn't get enough of. It hugged him in all the right places, "So, what's up with you?" she asked with a grin on her face as he saw Seth pull out his golden Money in the Bank briefcase, which inside, held the contract in which he can use to cash in on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for up to one year. Seth looked at it and smirked, before looking back at Daphne.

"You may have been knocked out cold, but you know that I am Mr. Money in the Bank," he informed her as Daphne nodded, not knowing why her boyfriend was giving her redundant information that even a two year old was able to comprehend with, "You know that I am going to be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion! That your boyfriend is going to be carrying a championship with him! But, I look at you…" he grabbed her by her hands and began to admire Daphne as she smiled at her charming boyfriend, "I see that you don't have a championship. That you're title less and you've defeated Divas like Brie Bella, Natalya, Nikki Bella, but yet, you're work is going unrecognized and that is an injustice of itself."

Daphne pretended to give a puppy dog face and nodded, "It's true. None of these people give a damn about their corrupt Divas Division. All they want is beautiful women, but who gives a damn if they don't get to show their abilities? I mean, we're just only for people to drool on." she placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head to the side. She awaited for her boyfriend to respond to the statement, in which she hoped that he didn't think like that. Man, if Seth were to think that Daphne was only nice to look at, then she had no problem connecting him with Bitch Cure on the spot.

"Nope, you're beautiful and a great wrestler. It's a shock that you're not Divas Champion because you're better than any of these so-called Divas backstage. I mean, what if there was someone that can make all of your wishes come true?" Seth gave a sinister smile, which made Daphne confused. She had everything that she could possible want with Seth, but why did she feel like something was missing?

"What are you going with this, Rollins? I've got everything that I want right here with you. I mean, we're one of the best power couples in the WWE. People have been comparing us to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Seth Rollins and Daphne Anne are going to take over this damn company eventually." Daphne stated as Seth nodded, but she wasn't getting the point at all. She was missing the point, actually. What Seth would like for her is to finally recapture the Divas Championship and take her place as the top Diva in the WWE.

"I know. I love this with us as well, but I talked to Triple H earlier and he has it under consideration to give you an opportunity at the Divas Championship," Seth stopped as Daphne was in shocked by the news. Seth went through all of that trouble just to see her become a champion again. She was speechless by his efforts to make her happy again, "I think you are ready to become a champion. The first time, you were not ready at all and you melted under the pressure. Now, you might get your second chance to redeem yourself. Finally, Daphne Anne can take her place on top!" he beamed of excitement as Daphne was giggling in happiness. She couldn't believe that Seth had done this for her. She was so fortunate to have him in her life.

Daphne connected her lips with Seth's for a slight moment. She was so overcome with emotion that she couldn't believe it. All of the hard work that she had been placing herself in will finally pay off, "Seth! You're the best boyfriend ever! Gosh! We're going to celebrate after RAW is done! Damn, I love it when you become a corporate badass. It's so sexy!" she formed a smirk on her face as she touched Seth's chest with her black nail polished hands.

"I know what I am capable of, Sweetheart." Seth nuzzled her neck as Daphne giggled, before transitioning to ringside.

"Stars in the Night" blasted throughout the arena as the crowd rose up to their feet to gave a warm welcome to the Divas Champion, Paige, who was successful in retaining her championship against Naomi two weeks ago at Money in the Bank, not only did she do that, but she was able to knock down Daphne Anne from a ladder, basically giving her a concussion. Okay, this wasn't Paige's most proud moment, but Daphne was asking for it. Paige did what no other Diva basically dared to do with the Ultimate Diva and that was knock her off that sellout pedestal and shut that bitch's mouth. When the Anti-Diva entered the ring, she grabbed the microphone and stood in the center of the ring with the Divas Championship on her shoulder.

"At NXT, I was one of the most dominate female wrestlers that ever graced a division full of Divas. There were people that never saw me become the first NXT Womens Champion and carry the championship for three hundred eight days. You don't see any other Diva holding a championship for that long. You never saw AJ Lee do that. You don't see Daphne Anne doing that. What I have proven ever since April is that I am a fighter. That I have earned my spot here and that if you all thought that I was a flash in the pan..." Paige showed the WWE Universe her shirt, which had the words "Think Again" on it, "Well, just like what it says on my shirt, think again!" Paige said in the most badass way possible as the WWE Universe cheered and applauded her, "I defeated Naomi at Money in the Bank, but I want more. I noticed Daphne Anne backstage trying to put everyone down and how she's been getting all of these amazing matches and I did what no other Diva has done. I knocked down that pedestal, where her boyfriend worshipped the ground that she walked on. I've proven that Daphne is all talk and that she is unworthy to become a Divas Champion. So Daphne, please come out here and plead your case on why you didn't get this title opportunity because of who you're dating." she stood there silently as "Sellouts" played throughout the arena in a sea of boos.

Daphne came out in her ring attire as she stood on the top of the ramp, "I'm guessing all of the hard work that I've done ever since WrestleMania was for nothing right? I could say the same about you, Paige. I mean, you waltz in from NXT and just got the title on your first night. What made you worthy of getting a championship opportunity at the spot? Unlike you, I've busted my ass off at NXT and on the main roster, I've busted my ass off even more and what for? So, just a bunch of generic Divas can take whatever I deserve. You're different, Paige. You're not a generic Diva. You're an Anti-Diva. You're not girlie and blonde and by the looks of things," Daphne walked to the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Paige, "I'm not that crap either. But, I think that you took an opportunity that should have belonged to me. It should have been me that humbled AJ Lee for the piece of New Jersey trash that she is. The success should have belonged to me, but don't worry. AJ is gone from the WWE, so it looks like I'll take that pretty, little title-"

"Let's Light It Up" all of a sudden played as Paige and Daphne, with the look of anger and disbelief looked at the ramp as AJ Lee was back in the WWE. The whole WWE Universe cheered for AJ. It was at that particular moment, where Daphne's heart fell to the floor. She thought that AJ was never going to come back and that she was going to be a wife for Punk. Apparently, Daphne is not good at keeping up to date with information because it looks like she had seen a ghost.

"AJ Lee is back!" Michael Cole exclaimed like he was a fan girl as it irritated Daphne a lot.

AJ entered the ring with a mic in her hand as the WWE Universe began a "this is awesome" chant. Three of the most talented Divas in the main roster were all in the same ring at the same time, "What the hell are you doing here?" Daphne snapped as she got close to AJ's face, who smiled at her in response. What Daphne didn't know was that AJ was going to be the good girl in this angle.

"Wow, Daphne! You sound so happy to see me, but I am not here to see you," AJ tried to be as nice as she can as she shoved Daphne out of the way as the Ultimate Diva was in shock of the response. AJ turned her focus into Paige, who took the title off of her in April, the night after WrestleMania, "I am here to see Paige," she waved at Paige, who was looking at Daphne in disbelief about the way that AJ was being, "Paige, I want to tell you that you gave me the slap back to reality. When I was champion, I was so obsessed with power and I did anything to get it. Even if it meant, trying to push people out of the way to get what I want. Now, I see things in a different way and I want to become a better person. I want to be a champion that fights for the people like you. So, what do you say? Let's have ourselves a rematch for the Divas Championship," she said as the WWE Universe cheered for that match. AJ then looked at Daphne, almost forgetting that she was in the room, "And if you want...Daphne can be involved to..."

Daphne grinned and shook her head no, "No! I am not going to stand being in the exact same ring as you AJ. I'm not going to cash in on that opportunity to become the next Divas Championship because I can't afford to do that to you because every single jerk in the WWE Universe knows that when you and I face each other in the ring, it's never pretty. I mean, I don't want you to be placed back on the shelf before you even made your return. So, you and," she thought for a moment and then beamed when she thought of something, "London Eye over here can compete, but mark my words to either of you women," she looked at AJ and Paige, "No matter who is champion, I'm going to win back the gold if it is the last thing that I do because everyone knows that I am the true champion and that my opportunity will come to show that to the world. So, break a leg ladies." Daphne winked as she walked up the ramp to backstage. There is no intentions of her fighting for the championship and she was not going to waste that opportunity on AJ Lee.

After Daphne had left, AJ looked at Paige, who was feeling hesitant about putting the title on the line, "Okay." the WWE Universe cheered as it seemed like the two Divas were finally going to have the match. The bell rang as Paige delivered a mean kick to AJ. Then, she picked up AJ and connected with a few clotheslines as she was showing some aggression that has not been seen before, "This is my house, AJ! This is my house!" she wanted to grab AJ by her face, but AJ slapped Paige and connected with a rollup as the referee counted to three.

AJ Lee was the new Divas Champion.

"What the hell just happened out there? She wasn't supposed to come back!" Daphne Consuelos was livid as she was never informed that April would be returning to the company. Next to her was Colby Lopez, who couldn't believe what his eyes was deceiving, "Colby," she spoke as he turned around to look at her in the eyes, "Did you know she was coming back? I was never told this! Why didn't Hunter tell me? Why was the match that short? I thought Saraya was being protected." Daphne was almost in tears as Colby wanted to comfort her. Sadly, he didn't know how he to answer the questions that she wanted answered. He looked into the eyes of his crush and knew that she was crushed in the most inflicting way possible.

Her opportunity was taken away from her.

"I think I can answer that, Daphne," Daphne looked at Hunter, who was now standing in front of her. Colby rested his hands on her shoulders, trying to give them a little rub to calm her down, but it seemed like she was about to give a big scream, "Kevin Dunn came to see me last week and he brought April with him. Dunn basically said that having you as champion was bad for business and that him and Vince really wanted April back in the picture. I had no other choice, but to pull you out and possibly scrape the face turn and championship match with Saraya at SummerSlam because that is what they wanted."

Daphne shed a tear down her cheek, "So you didn't fight for me?" she gave a dark chuckle as tears continued to multiple as they streamed down her cheeks, "I guess no one is looking out for me in this company," she placed her hands on her hips, "Don't worry, I'm used to people hating me and I actually thought you fight to keep me in this angle. I guess, I was wrong. Turns out I was always right." Daphne paused as Colby and Hunter both exchanged a look with each other.

"No, Daph. You're not that at all." Colby whispered to her, knowing what she thought about herself was not true at all.

"It is Colby," she looked him deeply in the eyes, the emotion almost taking control of her, "I'm always a second priority." she moved passed him as she stormed off the monitor room.

So, it seems like Daphne's angle has been scraped and her chances for the Divas Championship are now taken away from her.
