I honestly have no idea what to write right here. Do I complain about all those annoying couples at school being all lovey dovey cause it's February? Or do I share my excitement about snapchatting my crush since the first grade until midnight? Eh, just read the chapter!
Chapter 25: Sabrina's POV
I woke up in a hospital bed, listening to a bunch of those annoying beeping machines.
I looked around and saw that the room was empty. I sat up and immediately noticed that something was wrong.
I screamed and held my flat stomach.
"Sabrina!" Mom came running in, with Dad closely at her heels.
They came and hugged me tightly.
I pushed them off of me. "Where's my baby?!" I yelled.
"Sabrina, calm down," Mom told me. "She's fine!"
"She is?" I asked.
Mom smiled and nodded.
"Two months early but perfectly fine," Dad answered.
"The doctors said it was as if she knew she was going to be born early and made sure to grow faster," Mom told me and her eyes sparkled.
"Well, she's still pretty tiny," Dad added and shrugged. "But you and Daphne were too so it's no surprise."
"Where is she?" I asked.
"In the nursery with Puck," Mom replied.
"Puck," I repeated and my memories suddenly came flying back at me so hard it hurt my head. "Daphne?! Red?!"
"They're fine!" Mom quickly assured me.
"They're playing with Basil," Dad told me. "He hasn't let them out of their sight since they came back."
I smiled and leaned back on my pillow.
"Do you want to see them?" Mom asked.
I nodded. "And my baby," I murmured.
Mom nodded and left to go find them.
Dad sat down in the chair next to my bed. He took one of my hands and sighed.
"Am I in trouble for going to Ferryport Landing without asking?" I asked.
Dad rolled his eyes. "Mom and I are still pretty mad about that but right now, we're just glad you're are okay," he admitted.
I grinned. "Does that mean I'm not grounded?" I asked.
"Hey, you're going to be spending a lot of time at home now anyway," Dad replied. "You have to take care of my beautiful granddaughter."
I rolled my eyes. "I love you, Dad," I told him.
Dad smiled and leaned over to kiss my cheek. "I love you too," he answered.
I smiled back.
"Sabrina, you make sure Puck helps you with the baby," Dad began. "Because I swear if he-"
"Dad," I interrupted and smirked. "Do you really think I'd let Puck get away with not taking care of her?"
Dad looked away from me. "I know he wouldn't do that anyway," he sighed, "Puck's a good guy, Brina, he'll take good care of you."
I felt my smile getting bigger and bigger on my face and I opened my mouth to answer.
"Sabrina!"
Daphne jumped onto the hospital bed and gave me a big hug.
Red stood at the side of the bed with Basil next to her.
"I was so scared!" Daphne wailed. "I thought you'd never wake up!"
"You were scared?!" I repeated. "You were missing for seven months! I was terrified that you were dead!"
Daphne shivered and hugged me even tighter.
I reached for Red to pull her into our hug.
"I missed you both so much," I whispered and shut my eyes so I wouldn't cry.
"Brina, I'm just glad you're okay," Red answered.
I smiled and looked at them through my teary eyes.
"I want a hug!"
We pulled away enough so we'd all be able to look at Basil.
I laughed. "Climb on up here too!" I told him.
Basil grinned and climbed up onto the bed. He crawled over into my lap and threw his arms around me before giving me a big, wet kiss on my cheek.
I grinned.
"Don't almost die again, okay?" Basil asked.
"Alright, Basil, I'll try not to," I replied.
"Ms. Grimm?"
I looked up at the doorway.
A nurse stood there with a little bundle in her arms.
"My baby," I whispered.
"I thought I was the baby," Basil commented.
"Don't worry, you'll always be my baby," Red told him and got off the bed before helping him off too.
Daphne climbed off too.
The nurse smiled and moved towards me.
Behind her, Puck and Mom followed.
The nurse gently placed my baby in my arms.
I gazed down at her and felt myself starting to tear up.
"She's beautiful," I murmured.
"Like her mother," Puck answered and sat down next to me.
"What'd you decided to name her?" I asked and looked up at him.
Puck smiled. "Haley," he replied. "Haley Adriana Goodfellow."
"That's beautiful," I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulder.
Puck wrapped an arm around my shoulders.
Mom began quietly ushering everyone out of the room.
I tried not to smirk.
Mom, your meddlesome ways are only sometimes appreciated, I thought.
When everyone was gone, Puck and I didn't say anything for awhile.
"I was so scared," Puck finally said.
I lifted my head to look at him.
Puck stared at Haley. "You collapsed and I thought I'd lost you both," he mumbled.
"Puck, I'm fine," I told him.
Puck looked at me. "I know that now," he answered. "But then, I didn't."
I kissed him.
Puck took a deep breath and smiled at me.
I smiled back at him.
Puck lifted my chin with his empty hand. "Sabrina Grimm, I love you."
My heart pounded so fast, I thought it'd jump out of my chest.
"Puck," my eyes started getting kind of watery again as I smiled at him, "I love you too."
Puck kissed me again and this one lasted a lot longer.
We stared at each other as we caught our breaths and Puck grinned.
"You realize you're stuck with me for the rest of eternity?" he asked.
I grinned back and shook my head. "What have I gotten myself into?" I wondered.
Puck kissed me again. "A life of awesomeness," he replied.
I rolled my eyes. "You're a dork," I told him.
Puck smirked. "But you love me anyway," he pointed out.
I smiled and shook my head. "Yeah, yeah, I'll always love you no matter what, Fairy Boy."
"Is that a promise?" Puck asked.
I pushed him away. "Oh my God!" I groaned.
Puck grinned. "I'm taking that as a yes," he answered.
"Take it as whatever you like."
"Okay, I will."
"You're a dork, Puck."
"I love you too, Grimm."
"You promise?"
Puck laughed. "Yeah, I promise."
Well, that's it. I'm done with this story. I can't believe it. I hope the ending is to your liking, it's certainly to mine.
It's been one heck of a ride, guys. Thank you to all of those awesome people who kept reviewing & just kept my positivity up. Love you all! :)
