Naomi had returned home after speaking with Jack on the phone despite Tyler and Courtney's wishes. It would be just too obvious that something was going on if she refused to come home for her romantic night with Jack. After all, she had been with him as long as she had without incident, so she failed to see what one more night would hurt.

Upon hearing Jack pull up in the driveway, Naomi forced on a smile and made her way outside to greet him with a longing kiss. Jack groaned into her mouth, wrapping his arms around her waist possessively. "You ready to go?"

Naomi's brows knit together in confusion and she pulled back somewhat. "Go? Go where?"

Jack reached up and tucked her hair behind her ear. "You are beautiful, I've got something planned specially for you."

Naomi smiled, "Where are we going?"

Jack smiled the smile that initially won him her heart. He then pulled out a black piece of fabric from his pocket. "Put this on now." He handed it to her. "I want it to be a surprise."

Naomi studied the black fabric, finding it to be a blind fold. "You want me to put this on?"

He laughed, the smile reaching his eyes and kissed her sweetly. "Yes, now go on babe, you're going to love this, I promise."

Hesitantly, Naomi slipped the blindfold into herself. "Ok, it's on. I feel like I should've done this after I got in the car."

"Nope, I've got this all planned out." He reached into the car and Naomi could hear him shuffling through it. Finally, he spoke again. "Put your arms out together and towards me."

"Jack." Naomi started to protest, wondering what had gotten into him. "What are you trying to do?"

"Just trust me babe, you'll love where we're going. I've got it all set up for you and I'm prepared to give you the best mind blowing sex you've ever had."

Naomi closed her eyes tightly behind her blindfold before extending her arms out to him and allowing him to fasten the cool metal of his handcuffs around her wrists. "I'm trusting you Jack."

Jack leaned forward and pressed a kiss to her lips. "I'll make it worth your while." He gently grabbed her wrist and led her around to the other side of the car, helping her into the passengers seat before claiming the drivers seat as well. He looked over at the vulnerable girl as he backed out of the driveway slowly and set his jaw, he really wished that she hadn't betrayed him like she had.

Their footsteps echoed, that was the first thing Naomi noticed upon Jack directing her into the building. The atmosphere felt tense as nothing could be heard but the sound of their feet against the hard floor and the sound of them breathing. Jack kept his hand on her arm, not allowing her to stray from him. "Jack?" She broke the silence. "Where are we?"

Jack drew in a deep, heavy breath. "You'll see, love." After a moment, Naomi heard the sound of a chair dragging against the ground. "Sit." He pressed on her shoulders lightly.

Naomi did as told, met with the uncomfortable wooden chair. "Now you stay there." Jack cackled. "You're going to love this, love." Carefully, he pulled her blindfold from her face.

What Naomi saw, was nothing that Jack had promised. There she sat in an old rusty chair in the middle of an enormous room with dripping pipes and hundreds of wooden boxes. She made eye contact with Jack. "What is this? What are we doing here? J- Jack... I donut understand."

Jack chuckled as he paced back and forth. "My dear Naomi, uh-" he licked his lips. "Do you understand that you betrayed me?"

Naomi's face screwed up in confusion, "Betrayed you? I never cheated on you, Jack."

He leaned back dramatically and looked over his shoulder at her. "I never said that you cheated. There are other ways to betray someone."

Naomi swallowed against the lump in her throat. "What are you talking about? You aren't making any sense."

He laughed maniacly. "I'm not making sense?" He turned towards her suddenly and clicked his tongue disapprovingly, "You're not too convincing, my love... though I've gotta say, nothing you can say, no amount of acting you can do, can convince me." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small device which Naomi could hardly make out. "I've got you on tape."

Naomi's eyes widened and she stood up quickly. "You bugged my house?!"

Almost instantly he had his knife drawn, "I suggest you sit back down."

Naomi's heart pounded against her chest so violently it felt as if it would break through. She sat back down, having no other option.

Jack smiled, seeing her obey. "See? That wasn't so hard, was it? I don't want to have to tie you to your seat. So, uh-" he waved his knife at her, "Don't make me." He smiled at her newfound silence and approached, stroking his fingers through her hair in mock affection. "Why don't we discuss what it was I heard."

Naomi just stared at him, tears of both fear and heartache in her eyes as he spoke. "After you decided to get nosy regarding what I do for the mob, I decided to get nosy with what you have to say about me when I'm not around." He screwed up his face in anger before chucking the small device he held at the ground. "I didn't like it." He raised a hand to Naomi as if he were going to his her, making her flinch but then spun away from her at the last second, cackling. "I know you went to Tyler's tonight with Courtney and discussed the dirt they had on me."

Naomi shifted nervously, "It really wasn't anything, Jack... they had a few suspicions but nothing serious."

He feigned a look of deep thought. "How stupid do you think I am?" He tilted his head to the side slightly in question. "You go over there to dig up all the juicy details on me and then you conveniently try to stay the night with your friend rather than come home to me?" He laughed again. "You've never forgotten any of our plans before, never." He smiled dangerously. "You were scared to come home after they told you what they told you, weren't you?"

Naomi kept her gaze fixed on the ground, not finding within herself to look at the boy who she used to think was worth loving. She closed her eyes when he came closer to her and lifted her chin in attempt to make her look at him. "Open your eyes."

Naomi shivered at the venom in his tone and attempted to pull away from him. "Open your eyes Naomi, before I carve them from your skull."

Naomi opened her eyes at that, revealing to him that they were full of tears. Jack had threatened her, actually threatened her and based on his current state of mind, Naomi couldn't be sure that the threat was entirely empty. "Why are you being like this?"

Jack kissed her messily, forcing her to kiss him back by putting pressure on the back of her head. He pulled away suddenly and jumped to his feet from his crouching position. "Because I love you, babe!" He beamed threateningly, his words almost coming out as a growl. "Now, tell me what you found out."

Naomi took a deep breath and shifted in the uncomfortable chair. She made eye contact with him, her own face becoming emotionless. "I found out you never enrolled in the military."

Jack laughed. "Duh babe! Took you long enough." He waved his knife excitedly and leaned forwards. "What else did you find out?" Jack pursed his lips but held up his hand when Naomi opened her mouth to speak. "That I threatened the life of your buddy Tyler and his family? That I enjoyed killing my dad? That I was in Juvie for attempted murder at a young age?" He sighed heavily and sat on the ground next to Naomi's chair. "That I burned that family's house to the ground with them inside it?" Jack shrugged and looked over at Naomi with a smirk. "What can I say, babe? I'm serious about my inventory and that man had stolen 25 pounds of my cocaine supply. You think I'm going to just let that slide?"

Naomi sat in the chair staring straight ahead. Everything he was saying burying itself into her heart. She knew she would be devastated later but at that very moment, she felt nothing. She wasn't scared, wasn't heartbroken, the veil finally dropped from her eyes and she was seeing Jack Napier for the boy he truly was. When she spoke, she did so matter of factly, emotionlessly. "You're a monster."

Jack jumped to his feet gracefully. "Well, yea." He cackled. "And you slept with me!"

Naomi blinked slowly before turning her head to look up at him. "When?"

Confusion crossed his handsome face. "When what?"

Naomi chewed on her bottom lip, "When did you become who you are?"

Jack's brows knit together and he actually truly looked to be in deep thought. Finally, he made eye contact with her again, only seriousness there. "I don't know, Naomi. I-"

Naomi got up from her seat slowly so that Jack hopefully wouldn't snap out of his thoughts at the sudden movement. She neared him, seeing him in his vulnerable, thoughtful state. "Jack-" she allowed emotion to break through the barrier. "What happened to you?"

Jack looked up from the spot on the ground he was staring at, a troubled look in his dark eyes. "I-" Naomi thought she cold see tears beginning to form. "I really do love you."

That was it, Jack had broken the barrier down. Naomi's eyes welled with tears once again and they began rolling down her face. "I love you too, but you're scaring me Jack. I need you to talk to me."

Jack dropped his knife to the floor, starring at it blankly as it clattered against the cement. "I can't." He set his jaw. "You- you need to stay away from me Naomi... I can't- I don't-"

"You don't what?" Naomi reached up with her still cuffed hands and wiped the fresh tears from her cheeks.

"I can't control this Naomi, it's who I am and I'm sorry. I-" he shook his head and licked his lips. "I tried, I can't. I'm sorry." Jack closed his eyes and reached into his pocket before incuffing Naomi gently. He looked her in the eyes. "I need you to slowly walk away and don't look back."

Naomi rubbed her wrists, not breaking eye contact with him. "What is going on with you Jack? Please"- she gently grabbed his arm, "You need help, maybe-"

Jack shoved her away roughly, almost knocking her to the ground. After so long of fighting it, he just couldn't anymore, whatever darkens had grown from within him now almost completely consumed him. It had gotten worse since he had killed his father, the blood lust, his love of violence it was like everything within him was screaming for him to unleash what lurked in the depths of his soul. More and more, it won. "Go Naomi." He could feel himself slipping, the thought of picking his knife up off the ground and stabbing her, slitting her throat grew stronger and to his horror, it thrilled him. He raked his hands through his hair, watching her finally obey and begin to walk away. He forced himself to stay where he was without moving a muscel. He feared if he moved then there would be no stopping himself, he would somehow find her dead at his feet.

Then he heard it, the quickening of her footsteps, she was out of sight but had started to run. Jack clenched his jaw, and tilted his head to the side in attempt to fight his inner self. It was too late though, it was too much, he gave in. "Naomi!" He cackled, the sadistic laughter becoming maddened. Jack yanked his knife off the floor and started off after the girl.

Naomi's heart practically stopped in her chest at hearing Jack's footsteps pounding after her, his laughter ringing hauntingly through her ears. The girl stopped in her tracks suddenly, she knew there was no way she would outrun him, she wasn't even sure of her way out of the building, it was such a maze. Quickly, Naomi ducked behind a row of wooden crates, doing her best to slow and quiet her breathing. Jack was so much stronger than her she knew she likely wouldn't stand a chance against him.

She watched, heart feeling as it it had dropped to her stomach as he walked by her, whistling lowly. "Naomi, my love, come out, it's Jackie, I'm not gonna hurt you."

She put her hand over her mouth as extra precaution to keep from being heard. Once he was a good distance away, Naomi began the search for something- anything to aid her in making her escape.

A wooden plank, that's all Naomi had in her favor, which left her with one option if she would be faced with a decision. Quietly, Naomi crept off in the direction Jack had went, broken plank in hand. She covered ground quietly, and quickly, eventually making her way past Jack on the side of crates opposite from him to keep from being seen. She had her breathing under control, now all she had to do was wait for the right time.

It seemed forever before her obviously former boyfriend made his way past her, a haunting whistle still playing through his lips and echoing through the dimly lit warehouse. There was finally a break in the rows of crates Naomi could fit through and she used it to her advantage, slipping through silently, putting herself directly behind an unaware Jack.

Then she swung, the wood cracking loudly against his skull and bringing him to his knees. Jack reached up to his head with a groan and looked up to her amusement in his soulless eyes. "Gotta say, I always thought you had an arm on you." He laughed as if something truly humored him. "That was, uh-" he licked his lips. "Unexpected."

Naomi yanked the knife from his free hand in his weakened state and tossed it across the room. While he was too weak to fight her, and in Naomi's opinion, close to passing out, Naomi shoved her hand into the pocket of his pants and pulled out the cuffs he had used on her, cuffing his wrists together. He looked up at her one last time before unconsciousness took over him.

Naomi stared at the boy she used to love for a moment longer than she'd like to admit after he had fallen unconscious, all of their memories replaying through her head. Finally, she gathered herself and stood up, set on finding her way out of the maze of a building. Knowing she would have no choice other than to turn him into the police, Naomi then and there found both pain and relief, agony and peace that she would never again have to see Jack Napier.
