S2 EP12: Armed and Dangerous
It all started back at the Plumber HQ, in the training area. Matt and I were having a staredown. Since Matt joined the team a couple days ago, we thought it'd be cool to help him train, kinda like an initiation into the team.
While Matt and I were in the training area, Logan, Charity, Max and the Plumbers were in the viewing room. Pierce was apparentely still pissed at me for destroying his car, so he wasn't talking to me. Whatever.
Matt: "I warn you, Kakarot, I was trained by the legendary King Vegeta." I rolled my eyes.
Trey: "You mean the King Vegeta whose ass I kicked a few weeks back?" He rolled his eyes and I smirked.
Matt: "Time I showed you that it was luck!" He powered up in an orange aura and flew at me, but I glowed green.
Trey: "ARMODRILLO!" As I said that, I smacked Matt back with my turbine arm, sending him flying back into a wall. He recovered and shot energy orbs at me, making me stumble back, then flew at me and punched me in the face, sending me falling to the ground, where he proceeded to clobber my face. I became KaBoom and exploded, blowing him back, then reformed and became Buzzshock, and blasted him with an electric blast. He shook with electricity and fell to the ground.
Buzzshock: "What was that you were saying about luck? HAHAHAHA!" Matt recovered and cupped his hands together.
Matt: "MASENKO!" He fired a yellow beam and it nearly hit me, but I quickly became Feedback and absorbed it into my finger plugs, then used it to launch myself up and became Power House, then slammed him to the ground. I landed and became Energem, then started shooting mana orbs at him, but he recovered and slapped them all to the side.
Energem: "Trista Combeticus!" A large red mana snake formed out of my hands and wrapped around Matt.
Logan: "Whoa! That is wicked!" While Matt struggled to get free from the snake, I fired a mana blast at him, obliterating the snake and sending Matt to the wall, face first.
Matt: "That is so it!" He flew at me and we went blow for blow, both of us landing a good number of hits to each other. Finally, Matt kicked me to the ground. I stood up and became Goku, then went Super Saiyan.
SSJ Goku: "Let's see how you match up against this, bro." I flew at him, and he tried to punch me, but I grabbed his arm and pinned it behind his back, then kicked him into a wall. He flew back, firing energy orbs, but I blocked all of them with my hand and roundhouse kicked Matt when he got to me. He was dazed, so I flew over him and flip kicked him to the ground, where I elbow-dropped him. I hovered back a bit so he could get up, which he did.
Matt: "I forgot that you could become a Super Saiyan, Kakarot. Impressive, but soon, you won't be the only one." I chuckled.
SSJ Goku: "Sorry, Matty, but you have to be totally pure of heart to go Super Saiyan, and last time I checked, you were nowhere close to pure of heart."
Matt: "You'll see!" He fired another Masenko blast at me, but I flew under it and uppercutted Matt, sending him flying a few feet away and landing on the ground. I became normal Goku, then reverted to normal. Then, I walked over and extended my hand out to Matt.
Trey: "I think that's enough training today, huh?" He reluctantly took my hand and I pulled him up.
Matt: "I am gonna beat you one day, Kakarot." I patted him on the back.
Trey: "I'll be looking forward to it, bro." We walked out of the training area and were met tby the others.
Magister: "Didn't think you'd go Super Saiyan back there, Trey. The fight wasn't that serious." I shrugged.
Trey: "Haven't used it in a while, thought I should make sure it was still available."
Logan: "I wanted to see a little more of Energem, that form is awesome! What species is that?" I shrugged again.
Trey: "I think he's some kind of Anodite rock."
Charity: "Anodite? Like Impact?" I nodded and she said, "If Ben and Gwen can do spells like you can as Energem, they're gonna be awesome!" Logan and I nodded in agreement.
Matt: "So, what do you usually do after training? Vegeta used to send us back to our capsules." I looked at him.
Trey: "Capsules?" He nodded.
Matt: "Vegeta didn't care enough to build rooms for us on his ship, so we slept in capsules. Not very comfortable, but it was all we had." I started to feel bad for him and the other Saiyans. If I'd known that, I would've went after Vegeta myself.
Charity: "That's awful! Come here!" She went over and hugged him. He hesitated for a minute, then hugged her back.
Matt: "Um, thank you." She let go and noticed my jealous expression. She chuckled and came over to me.
Charity: "Aww, does my baby want a hug too." I nodded.
Trey: "Yes, pwease." She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me close.
Charity: "Better?"
Trey: "Better." She let go and pecked me on the lips, making me smile.
Matt: "I will never understand your human terms of affection." We all laughed at that.
Max: "Well, if we're done here, we should head back to the Armory. There's this cooking show on an alien TV station and I want to see how to make one of the dishes." I was astounded.
Trey: "They have ALIEN TV?! No one tells me anything." They chuckled and we said goodbye, then left.
Magister: "Those kids are something else." He was smiling while he said that.
Pierce: "Yeah, as much as Trey irks my nerves, he and his friends have done a lot of good. I'm glad we let him keep the Omnitrix."
Magister: "I don't think we had much of a choice. That boy's Braulk form packs a punch." They chuckled and walked off to the snack area. Right after they left, a man wearing stealthy combat wear peeked out from behind a machine.
Man: "His Braulk form won't be able to keep him from me." He did a front-flip over the machine and snuck over to the computer. "But first, I need to take care of his brother. I need some information on Mr. 'Overdrive', starting with when he first used his powers."
He typed some words on the keyboard and a hologram popped up.
Man: "Here we go; File name: Logan Gold's Codon Arm."
LOGAN'S POV (3 WEEKS AGO)
It was a couple days after Trey and I got back from battling Eon and I could not wait until I got to fight crime with my new powers! Except, there was one problem..
Logan: "What do you mean I'm not ready?!" We were camped out in a park for the day and Trey and Max were talking to me. Trey sighed.
Trey: "Don't take it personally, dude. We just think that you need a bit more experience before I take you on a crime-fighting mission." I sighed.
Logan: "How much experience?" They looked at each other.
Max: "About...2 months worth." My eyes got wide.
Logan: "TWO MONTHS?! But, school will be back in by then! You're saying that I can't help Trey until September?!" Trey shrugged.
Trey: "Maybe longer..." I got mad.
Logan: "You don't trust me." Trey put his hand on my shoulder.
Trey: "It's not that I don't trust you, Loges. You barely know how to control your new arm. Last night, you almost electrocuted us all when were in the pool!"
Max: "Plus, you use your powers for no reason. I mean, it does not take a fireball to heat up a hot dog." I sighed.
Logan: "Fine, I'll only use my powers when it's absolutely necessary."
Trey and Max: "Good." They went back in the RV. Charity walked up to me.
Charity: "Hey, Logan, have you seen my phone charger?" I smiled to myself.
Logan: "Leave your phone on the table, I'll find your charger." She smiled and put it on the table.
Charity: "Thanks, bestie!" She skipped off. I waited until I was sure nobody was around, then aimed my right arm at Charity's phone and blasted an electric bolt.
Logan: "Yes! And the guys said I needed more experience." Suddenly, the phone burst into flames and it started to spread. My eyes got wide.
Logan: "Oh, no. TREY!" I ran inside the RV, accidentally pulling off the entire RV door with my right arm. I threw it down and ran inside the RV.
...
After Trey had gone Heatblast and put the fire out, we were on our way to a mall.
Logan: "Listen, guys, sorry about the whole forrest fire thing." Max was driving and ignoring me. Trey and Charity were doing a puzzle, but Trey looked up at me.
Trey: "It's fine, Logan." Then, he went back to the puzzle.
Ben: "That can't be good. Trey's never that quiet."
Gwen: "Yeah, doofus, you should watch your back." I gulped.
We arrived at the mall and went inside.
Logan: "So, guys, what are we doing?" Trey put his arm around Charity.
Trey: "Well, Charity and I are gonna catch a movie at the indoor theatre."
Ben: "I'm gonna head to the Sumo Slammers merchandise stoor."
Gwen: "There's an indoor library calling my name."
Max: "And, I'm going to find some ingredients for dinner tonight."
Logan: "And, none of you invited me?"
All of them: "Nope." I sighed.
Logan: "Fine, I guess. I can be on my own for a while."
Trey: "Good." They started to walk off.
Logan: "Oh, and don't worry. I promise not to use my powers."
Max: "Um, good." Then, they were gone.
Logan: "That was weird. Now, what to do with no friends." I ended up just walking around the mall for a bit. I ended up at some kind of indoor mall carnival.
Logan: "This seems legit." Suddenly, a girl walked past me. She was white, had blonde hair, green eyes and was wearing black skinny jeans and a T Shirt with a picture of Biohazard on it. She was no April, but damn, was she fine. "And, so does she." I followed her at a safe distance.
Logan (thinking): "Stalker, much, Logey?" I kept following her until she got to a stand with some kind of large dumbell on it.
Announcer: "Gather around, adults and teens, and witness the ninth wonder of the world!" I walked up and stood in the middle of a crowd that was forming. He continued, "This is a dumbell that weighs over 500 pounds, making it the heaviest dumbell in the world. It would take a man of amazing muscle mass to lift it!" I smirked.
Logan (thinking): "Yeah, or a boy with Codon charged arm." I started to raise my hand, then hesitated and thought, "I'm not supposed to use my powers unless I have to."
Blonde girl: "Wow! Whoever lifts that must be the coolest guy ever."
Logan: "Now, I need to." I pushed to the front of the crowd and stood next to the announcer.
Logan: "Logan Gold, at your service."
Announcer: "What do you mean, at my service?" I smirked.
Logan: "You see, ladies and gentleman, I can lift this dumbell." After I said that, the crowd burst into laughter, even the girl I liked.
Man: "Oh yeah? And, how are you gonna do that? You're a scrawny little kid." I scowled.
Logan: "I'll show you scrawny. Watch and be amazed." I wrapped my right hand around the dumbell and tried to lift it with my super strength, but I couldn't! Instead, I was pulled to the ground by the sheer weight of it. The crowd burst into laughter. I stood up.
Logan: "What the hell?! My powers aren't working!"
Man: "Powers? HAHA, the kid thinks he's Arsenal or something!" I gritted my teeth and tried to power up a fireball in my right hand, but that wouldn't work either!
Logan: "I need to find the guys." I pushed past the laughing crowd and ran off.
...
I looked everywhere for the others, until I finally found them back inside the RV. I burst inside, seeing the others watching TV.
Logan: "*Pant* *Pant* Guys, there's something wrong with my powers! They're not working!" Max and Trey looked at each other.
Trey: "We know, dude."
Max: "We disabled them." My eyes got wide.
Logan: "WHAT?!" Trey stood up.
Trey: "After your little bonfire last night, Max told me to fly back to Chicago and have the Plumbers build a Codon jammer for your arm, so we can turn your powers off and on."
Logan: "Why the hell would you do that?"
Max: "Listen, son, we know you're excited about having powers, but we can't trust you to use them responsibly." He pulled out the jammer, which looked like a remote with a switch on it, "Think of this as training wheels." Trey nodded.
Trey: "Yeah, Logey. We'll destroy the jammer after we help you train with your...Codon Arm. Cool name, huh?" I flipped him off as a response, then sat at the table.
Logan: "This is so unfair!"
Charity: "It's for the best, Loges."
Max: "Sorry you feel that way, but, until you get proper training, I'm in charge of your Codon Arm." He placed the jammer on the table and went in the bathroom. Trey and Charity went to the back and Ben and Gwen continued watching TV. I made sure nobody was looking, then grabbed the jammer.
Logan: "Sorry, Max, but I control my own powers." I went outside the RV and flipped the switch. "Let's see if this works." I tried throwing an electric ball in the air and it worked!
Logan: "Yes! Time to lift that dumbell!"
...
I got back to the dumbell stand and saw some body-builder guy trying to lift it. After a few tries, he gave up.
Announcer: "Another competitor down! Who's next to attempt to lift the best?" I smirked and stepped forward.
Logan: "I am." The crowd burst into laughter.
Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen, the 'Super Boy' is back. Kid, why don't you give up before you embarrass yourself again?" I smirked again and stood next to the dumbell.
Logan: "Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking the first time. I mean, it's not like I can actually lift it." I grabbed the dumbell and easily lifted up with my Codon Arm, "Oh, wait. I can." The crowd was in awe.
Man: "I...don't believe it. The kid actually lifted it up." The crowd started cheering and I took bows, all while still holding the dumbell. The blonde girl shyly walked up to me.
Blonde girl: "Hi, I'm Sadie. That was pretty awesome how you lifted that dumbell." I dropped the dumbell, making it crash onto the stand and break it into pieces. Then, I shook her hand.
Logan: "Logan Gold. And, thanks, it's a gift." She giggled.
Sadie: "Say, a few friends and I are getting together in a few minutes. Wanna come?" I was actually excited, but I played it cool.
Logan: "Sure!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me off.
She kept pulling me until we got to the back of the mall. There, I saw her friends: a black guy with braids, a white girl with brown hair, and a white guy with Justin Bieber hair. They were all dressed in ski gear.
Logan: "Uh, Sadie? What's going on here?" I turned to her and saw that she had also changed into ski gear.
Sadie: "Listen, cutie, we're gonna pull a job."
Logan: "Um, what are you talking about?!" The white guy pulled a blueprint of the mall out of his bag, then spread it out on the ground.
White guy: "See this? This is the entrance to the Bank of America that's located in the mall. Now, that Bank of America is swarming with security and alarms, meaning there's no way we'll be able to get in that way."
Sadie: "That's where you come in, Logan." I was seriously confused.
Logan: "HUH?!"
Black guy: "Sadie told us all about how strong you are. If you can lift that dumbell, punching through a wall should be no problem for you."
White girl: "That means you can punch through the back wall of the Bank of America, which leads right into the vault. We get in and out, before the security even knows we're there." My eyes got wide. These guys were trying to rob the bank!
Sadie: "So, Logan, you in?" I started to back away.
Logan: "I don't know, guys. This seems like way too much fro me." Suddenly, the black guy pulled out a pistol.
Black guy: "I'd do what we say, if I were you. You may be strong, but you're not bullet proof." I immediately put my hands up.
Logan: "Fine. Lead the way."
Sadie: "Good. Cute and smart." They started leading me to the back wall.
Logan (thinking): "I gotta contact Trey." Suddenly, I had an idea. I made sure nobody was looking, then quickly shot a stream of fire into the air from my Codon Arm. The fire spelled out "S.O.S. BANK" Hopefully Trey would see it and come rescue me.
After about five minutes of walking, we got to the back wall.
Sadie: "Alright, Logan, do your thing." I sighed and walked up to the wall, then punched right through it.
White guy: "That is wild! Freaks do come in handy." They all ran inside the vault and started putting money into bags. I stood there, looking in the sky for Trey. Then, I realized.
Logan: "What am I doing? I have superpowers, too! I don't need to rely on Trey!" I looked inside one of Sadie's spare bags and found a ski mask, then put it on. Needed to cover my face if I was going to use all my powers. Then, I stepped into the vault.
Logan: "Stop right there!" They stopped what they were doing. They took one look at me and laughed.
White girl: "What do you think you're doing?" I thought about it, then stood more confidently.
Logan: "Arresting you."
Sadie: "Logan, you shouldn't do this."
Logan: "Sorry, pretty lady. But this isn't right." I picked up a gold bar with my Codon Arm and flung it through a window, sounding an alarm, "And the cops should be here in about 2 minutes."
White guy: "You son of a bitch!" The black guy pulled out his pistol.
Black guy: "I'm gonna enjoy blowing your fucking brains out!" Before he could pull the trigger, I threw a fireball at his hand, knocking the gun away.
White girl: "Holy shit!"
Sadie: "He's a freak like Arsenal, get him!" They all charged at me and Sadie swung at me with a crowbar, but I blocked with my Codon Arm and simply pushed her back, sending her flying into a wall. The black buy punched me in the stomach, but I recovered and sent a mini shockwave through his body, then kicked him back a little. The white guy ran at me, but I shot water at the ground and he slipped and fell on his behind. I kneeled down and placed my Codon Arm hand on the water, then sent an electric charge through it, shocking the white guy. The white girl picked up the pistol and started letting off rounds, but luckily my Codon Arm could deflect all of them. I threw a fireball at her, but I missed and hit the money, setting it all on fire. The inside of the vault suddenly erupted with burning money.
Logan: "Oh man! Trey's gonna kill me!" Sadie snuck up behind me and nailed me with a fire hydrant, knocking me down to the ground, where they all proceeded to stomp on me. I looked down and noticed that they were all standing in the water puddle, so I quickly sent another electric charge through it and they were all stunned enough for me to stand up and throw all of them back with my Codon Arm strength.
Black guy: "That's it!" They all reached in their bags and pulled out machine guns.
Sadie: "I'm sorry you had to die. You were really cute, too." I gulped.
Voice: "That's a weird pickup line." I looked back and saw Trey, as Feedback.
Bad guys: "Arsenal!" I sighed in relief.
Feedback: "Wow, you guys are a little young to be robbing banks. What, did your parents cut your allowances?"
White guy: "Kill him!" They started letting off rounds at us, but Trey put up an electric shield to protect us.
Feedback: "You snagged the jammer, didn't you?" I rolled my eyes.
Logan: "Is this really the time to play the blame game?!" Trey nodded.
Feedback: "Good point. But, after we fuck these guys up, we're gonna handle this."
Logan: "We?" He nodded.
Feedback: "I saw you fight these guys. You're pretty good and I think you are ready to be my partner." I smiled.
Logan: "AWESOME! Let's do it!" He nodded and became Igneo, then we charged at the bad guys. Trey made rocks come around his fists and socked the black guy in the face, then slammed him to the ground. I blocked a round of bullets from Sadie, then blasted her with a stream of water, knocking her into the wall. She hit her head and fell out cold. The white girl came at me with a crowbar and swung, but I caught it with my Codon Arm and sent a charge through it, shocking her. While she was stunned, I gave her a light push with my Codon Arm and she went flying up against a wall, knocked out cold. Trey became Spidermonkey and webbed the black guy's eyes, then jumped up and gave him a roundhouse kick, knocking him out cold. Then, he became Red Lightning and gave the white guy a supersonic kick to the face, knocking him out. Then, Trey zoomed around and tied them up at super speed. We did our handshake.
Logan: "Not bad, Arsenal." He smirked.
Red Lightning: "You either, Codon-Man." I looked at him, then shook my head,
Logan: "Lame!" He chuckled.
Red Lightning: "We'll work on it."
Later, Sadie and her friends were arrested and we were all in the RV.
Max: "Logan, I am proud of you for helping Trey stop thos kids."
Logan: "Thanks, Max-"
Max: "BUT, you did steal the jammer and use your powers even when we tol you not to."
Trey: "But, Max, he was awesome!"
Max: "That fact aside, I have to keep your powers disabled, just until you get more skilled. You never know when an accident might happen." I sighed, then Trey gave me a look. I realized what he meant and smirked.
Logan: "You're right, Max. An accident can happen at any time."
Max: "Good." He started to walk off with the jammer in his hand, but I nonchalantly shot an electric ball at the jammer, causing it to short circuit. Max looked at me and I shrugged.
Logan: "Whoops." Trey and I laughed.
Outside of the file (TREY'S POV)
The man smiled evily at what he had just saw.
Man: "Codon jammer, huh? You will soon be of no help to Sergauson...son." He laughed evily and ran out.

There we have it. Just a little back story on Logan's first 'mission', for those of you saying that Logan learned how to use his powers to quickly. Next chapter is the Season 2 finale, you guys! Can't wait, it's gonna be awesome! Review time!
