DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN OURAN IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM
"Well?!" the figure asked as Haruhi kept looking back and forth between it and the sword. Haruhi was starting to feel an up most sense of vulnerability going through her body. She didn't want to fight this thing no matter what! However she didn't really seem to have a choice over the matter seeing as how the figure had made it perfectly cleat it would kill Himeko along with her twins should she refuse. Himeko was panting heavily as kept whimpering over the blade being held close to her throat.
Haruhi slowly walked over and picked up the sword.
"Wise choice Morinozuka," said the figure as it moved its blade away from Himeko's neck and advanced towards closer towards Haruhi. However it stopped and turned back to Himeko, "Oh I almost forgot." It walked back over to Himeko and started fastening her wrists to the bed posts with zip ties. "Can't have you running off and ruining the chance for Lady Morinozuka the chance to prove herself now, do we? Besides if she tries to weasel her way out of this I need to punish her somehow."
"Please, I don't want my babies to die!" Himeko pleaded.
"You seem like a good mother, willing to put your life on the line for you babies," said the figure gently slapping Himeko's smack, "It makes me wonder if Morinozuka is as loving mother as you." The figure turned its attention back towards Haruhi and her sword.
Haruhi held it up in front of her, trying her best to keep her hands steady. She wondered if it was noticeable in making her sword shake in her hands.
The figure actually started laughing.
"Look at you, you can't even hold a sword right!" it said, "And you had the gull to actually marry a Morinozuka and Takashi Morinozuka at that! Bah, this is going to be easy!"
The figure charged fast towards Haruhi with it sword. Haruhi barley had time to raise the sword up and block its thrust. The figure looked surprised.
"Very good, you knew how to block me," it actually praised, "But how long can you keep it up?"
Haruhi could start to feel the figure pushing down hard on the sword she was holding to the point she legs started to buckle. Whoever this person was, he or she was strong.
"I knew it! I knew you weren't at all strong!" it snarled, "What is it that he finds to attracting to you?!"
Haruhi shifted her eyes a bit before she suddenly ducked and rolled over towards the left causing the figure to topple over and land hard on the ground. It looked up mad.
"Smart move I guess!" it shouted as it dived bombed towards Haruhi again. Haruhi ducked and managed to avoid the second blow making the figure stumble a little.
"Is that all you're going to do? Run?!" it shouted running at her again.
"If it works!" said Haruhi as managed to duck away again.
"I don't want you to run! I want you to fight, fight me!" the figure screamed waving it sword, barley missing Haruhi's middle.
"Oh god!" Haruhi screamed.
"And no praying either!" the figured ordered, "God can't help you with this! No one can! This is all on you and me bitch!" It brought down its sword again at Haruhi and Haruhi managed to block it with her own. "You haven't even tried to strike me with it! Don't you have any thoughts to want to defeat me?!"
"Of course I do! But you caught me off guard with no time to prepare or anything!" Haruhi shouted back, "What do you expect me to do?!"
"A warrior is always prepared! I expect you to know how to adapt of course! What else would a person do, even those who aren't a warrior?!" asked the figure.
"I was adapting!" said Haruhi, "In case you haven't noticed, you haven't managed to land a blow either!"
"You are accuse me of not being a full warrior like you?!" asked the figure.
"I'm only going off of what I've seen so far in this fight!" Haruhi retorted. She once again ducked out from under the figure's blade only this time she lunged forwards knocking the figure off its feet. It landed with a thud on the floor. If Haruhi didn't know better she could have sworn she the figure looked surprised at her lunging at it like she had.
"And just for the record, my husband taught me how to do that!" she snarled.
"Your husband huh?" said the figure.
"Yes, he has taught me a little in how to defend myself!" Haruhi informed the figure. At that the figure jumped up.
"Of course he has, he's probably given you plenty of one on one attention! Yet all his efforts seem to be for not!" it snarled. It almost sounded like it was jealous of the idea that Haruhi had received one on one training from Takashi, "And I bet he'll do the same with your little offspring once she's old enough if he hasn't already. Assuming the baby lives that long."
"What are you talking about?" asked Haruhi, "you leave my baby alone!"
"I cannot allow her to live! As long as she's living as a Morinozuka she'll continue to give them a bad name seeing as she's not a warrior like her mother!" said figure.
"She's just a baby how do you know what's going to happen to her in the future?!" asked Haruhi. She pointed the sword almost straight at the figure's neck. "Now I'm going to give this one chance! In addition to you not hurting Himeko, if I win you will never go after my daughter!"
"You're that determined to try and protect her huh?" asked the figure.
"Any good mother would be!" Haruhi insisted.
"Well it's almost time for a lunch break," said Mr. Morinozuka looking at his watch.
"Yeah," said Mori. He gave a whistle and all of the students stopped their training.
"Lunch time," he announced, "Afterwards we'll begin another round of elimination." All of the students and instructors bowed and headed off.
"I'm very curious to see who's going to be advancing after this," said his father.
"Yes we're going to be getting closer to some of the harder rounds soon," said his mother.
"Master!" Mizuki the maid suddenly shouted running in with baby Ryo.
"Ryo?!" said Mrs. Morinozuka in shock at seeing her granddaughter.
"Hmm?" said Mori. Even though he was surprised he still managed to take the baby from the maid.
"Dada!" said Ryo happily giving her daddy small playful slaps.
"What's she doing back here?" asked Mr. Morinozuka.
"Mistress Haruhi came back!" said Mizuki.
"She did?" said Mori's parents.
"Yes with Mrs. Hitachiin but I think something's wrong!" Mizuki tired to explain in a calm manner, "I heard some glass breaking and screaming and Mistress Haruhi went to investigateā¦,"
Mori handed his baby to his mother and raced off fast out the training arena towards the main dormitory.
"You sure are bolder then I thought," said the figure at Haruhi's request.
"Well a mother would have to be bold if they're doing what they can to save their child's life!" Haruhi explained.
"Bolder but not much smarter," said the figure. All too sudden it reached out one of its arms and managed to grab Haruhi by her wrist. It griped it tight and pulled Haruhi down to the ground. In the process Haruhi dropped her sword and it flew across the floor just out of Haruhi's grasp. Before Haruhi could stand up however she felt the cool touch of a blade against her neck.
"Let's end this!" said the figure.
"No Haruhi no!" Himeko shouted from the bed.
"Wait!" Haruhi snapped right as the sword was brought up from her neck. She could see the figure freeze with the sword over its neck, "Can I make one last request in regards to my daughter and Himeko?"
"What's that?" asked the figure.
"Will you please promise me you'll spare Himeko, her babies and Ryo after you kill me?" asked Haruhi, "You have to promise me that! Promise me you won't do anything to hurt any of them!"
"You're in position to be making requests!" said the figure, "I can kill you, that knocked up bitch and that little brat you call a baby if I want even I do promise you that! There's nothing to stop me!"
"I wouldn't be so sure about that," said Haruhi, "I doubt Takashi will let you kill Himeko."
"What?" asked the figure.
"I guess I should have told you this before. I wasn't the only that knew what was going on in here. Someone else was in the house and ran off with Ryo to alert Takashi along with my in-laws for help. They should all be on their way here and now. You may get away with killing me before they get here and I'll let you without putting up much of a fight. However I doubt you'll have time to kill Himeko before they get here. You may escape but you won't be able to do both. So that's why I'm asking this right here right now. If I let you kill me, will leave Himeko and my daughter alone from now on?"
"I had no intention of really hurting that broad. I only had to use her in order to get to you so of course I'll spare her. Especially if what you say is true," the figure promised.
"And my daughter?" asked Haruhi.
"Your daughter however is a different story," said the figure, "You see your daughter isā¦,"
BAM
"Haruhi!" Mori shouted when he saw his wife on her knees with a sword above her head.
"Morinozuka," said the figure calmly lowering its sword. Mori grabbed Haruhi discarded sword.
"Get away from my wife!" he ordered furiously.
"It seems like I don't have much of a choice," said the figure, "However I will admit I am impressed with what it was you did here today Wife Of Morinozuka. Therefore I'm going to make at least promise. I'll leave you and your baby alone until the final found of the tournament, in the mountains! When that time comes, that's when we'll finish this!"
At that the figure dropped a smoke bomb and managed to disappear again without a trace.
Mori moved over to his wife and helped her up.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yes I'm fine for the most part. It didn't even get a chance to strike me," Haruhi assured her husband.
"Mrs. Hitachiin!" said Mr. Morinozuka running into the room. He quickly started to untie the woman's hand, "I'm so sorry are you alright?"
"Yes, thanks to Haruhi," said Himeko, "She risked her life to save me and my babies."
"Why was this attacker trying to hurt you?" asked the Mr. Morinozuka as he helped her to stand.
"It was using her as a hostage to get me to fight it," Haruhi explained, "Himeko I'm so sorry!"
"It's not your fault!" said Himeko, "If anything I'm sorry for making you come back. If I hadn't then you wouldn't have been put in such a position." Haruhi looked up at her husband.
"Yeah but in a weird way it was worth," she said, only she was more saying it to Mori instead of Himeko.
"Yeah," Mori agreed putting his arm around her.
