Chapter 25

Naruto tried his best not to say anything the second he noticed Sasuke looked uncomfortable. Naruto ha Hiruzen on his lap seated next to the window and Hiruzen was looking out. Sasuke had bought noise canceling ear phones for Hiruzen so the noises didn't terrify the baby. He already had two pairs for himself and Naruto.

Naruto smiled to himself seeing Sasuke was buckled up and his knuckles were white and both hands gripping the arm rest and they weren't even on the runway yet. Sasuke's breathing was controlled but the blonde could see it was forced and the flight attendant wasn't making things easier by asking him a ton of questions obviously flirting. Naruto decided to save his boyfriend.

"Hey babe? So I was thinking we could walk on the beach with Hiruzen after we land and grab a bite to eat. Maybe watch the sunset. What do you think?" Naruto asked in a slightly more feminine tone.

"Sounds wonderful. Hiruzen will probably love that." Sasuke answered Naruto with a soft, yet tight smile.

The flight attendant made a rude face at Naruto and stood to walk away.

"You should get that bitch fired before she spits in my food." Naruto commented after.

"You can have mine then. I don't plan to eat." Sasuke said quickly and tightened up as the plane was getting ready to be put on the runway.

"If you have to puke, use the bag, run to the bathroom or nail the flight attendant but don't you dare puke on me." Naruto informed.

"Oooooooooohhh." Hiruzen said realizing the plane was in motion.

Sasuke sharply exhaled through his nose and shut his eyes once he started feeling the force push back on him and shaking ensued from take off. Naruto clasped a hand over Sasuke's mentally commenting Sasuke was stiffer than a statue.

Once they reached altitude Sasuke grip loosened a smidge and he waited for the flight attendant.

"Miss, could you please bring me a shot of whiskey?" Sasuke asked quickly and she smiled before walking off.

Sasuke had managed to coax 2 more of those before Naruto cut him off.

"You really will puke all over the plane!" Naruto harshly whispered.

"I hate flying." Was Sasuke's reply. Naruto laid Sasuke's seat back and stroked his hair and after an hour had two sleeping Uchihas. Naruto tilted his own seat back and laid Hiruzen down before just relaxing. Naruto couldn't fall asleep but he would make sure Hiruzen didn't have the chance to scream bloody murder and piss everyone off on the plane. About 3 hours into the flight they delivered snacks and Naruto grabbed some for the toddler who was going to wake up. Sasuke also woke up and not shortly after that Naruto had him chug water.

Half way through they got their food and Sasuke passed his food off to Naruto who was pleased to notice spitting would've been impossible and enjoyed two chicken curry dinners and Hiruzen enjoyed animal crackers in his Dad's arms.

"Time for a diaper change buddy." Sasuke said tapping his son on the leg and stumbled his way to the changing table and changed Hiruzen in record time and walked back to the seat handing him Naruto who was done eating.

"Sasuke, you should lay down..." Naruto said seeing how sick he looked. Naruto dropped the shade down and Sasuke laid back down and Naruto did the same with Hiruzen hoping to get the one year old to nap again. Hiruzen was content and could see the little screen and Naruto smirked when a hand rested on his hip.

"Don't try anything." Naruto whispered.

Sasuke laid on his side and honestly just focused on breathing for the remainder of the flight keeping some skin on skin contact with Naruto to have some sort of comfort. He only broke his relaxation method when his prayers were answered and the plan started to land and he had to sit up.

If Naruto had thought Sasuke's diaper change time was impressive. He was in for a shock when he found Sasuke and Hiruzen along with the carry on's were gone when he had stretched.

Naruto grabbed his carry on and strolled off the plan casually and walked out into the airport. Sasuke looked about 100 times happier to be off the plan and was even getting something to eat.

Naruto looked around LAX feeling energized. He turned his phone on and called Tenten.

"Hello Blondie."

"Hey we landed."

"Kay, I'm in the parking structure. I'll head over and wait by arrivals..."

"Thanks." Naruto replied.

"See ya soon." And she hung up.

They walked through customs and and grabbed their luggage. Naruto took the lead and hopped on the escalator and came down looking for a brunette with two buns glaring death at everyone.

Sasuke followed his blonde who went straight for the doors and raised an eyebrow when he saw the luggage get abandoned and his arms wrap around a smaller woman who patted him on the back.

"Sasuke, this is Tenten." Naruto introduced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Sasuke said extending his arm forward and she shook it.

"Nice to meet you as well. Thanks for returning our blonde to normal." She said with a smirk and extended her arm for Sasuke's and Hiruzen's carry on's.

"You don't have-" Sasuke began but she grasped them anyway.

"I'd rather hold luggage than a baby who just got off a plane." She replied and began walking off.

"Why didn't you grab my carry on?" Naruto pouted while grabbing his stuff.

"Shut it Uzumaki or I leave you here and let your boyfriend begin trashing your house." She yelled from the cross walk.

Cars were everywhere and this was just the airport.

"Ahhh, feels good to be back." Naruto said with a smile. Naruto, Sasuke and Tenten rushed across the street. Naruto shot a glare at the driver who was inching forward agitated he was stopped by the light. They walked in the parking structure and followed Tenten to her over-sized truck. Naruto started tossing his stuff into the truck bed and then threw Sasuke's and Hiruzen's luggage in the back. Sasuke buckled Hiruzen into the car seat blushing because he had packed it with the boxes like an idiot.

Naruto snaked past Sasuke and hopped in the front seat and Sasuke climbed in the back. Tenten climbed in the driver seat. She turned the key in the ignition and Naruto swung back and looked Sasuke in the eye.

"Hold on to 'oh shit' handles for dear life." Naruto instructed.

Sasuke noticed Naruto's hand was securely holding onto the handle above the door and mimicked the motion and held onto Hiruzen's car seat with the other arm. Tenten threw the truck in reverse and with a quick glance backed out and sped off following the exit indicators. Sasuke heard the tires squealing against the ground and the truck engine revving. Tenten made sharp turns and drove fast speeding out of the parking structure up to the booths and slammed on the brakes causing everyone to be thrown forward. She handed the attendant the cash and as soon as the pole lifted she floored the truck pushing Naruto and Sasuke into their seats. Tenten got onto the main street and Sasuke saw a huge massive blur of everything. Tenten had to be doing 70 and they weren't on the freeway. The on-ramp came into view and she swerved in and out of slower cars shaking her head muttering about idiots. She got on the freeway and went even faster.

"Naruto, what's the speed limit for Los Angeles freeways?, Sasuke asked a littler terrified.

"Uhm, like 65? I don't know. If the highway patrol isn't chasing your ass you're fine." Naruto replied with a shrug.

Sasuke peeked at the speedometer. 90 miles per hour.

The cars started to thicken and Tenten started to snake in and out effectively making traffic slower, but it seemed she was satisfied to just be moving.

Sasuke shut his eyes and tilted his head against the headrest and shut his eyes praying they'd make it safely to their destination. He felt the car slow down and opened his eyes to see they'd gotten off the freeway. She turned right and went forward until she hit a big intersection and turned right again and drove down the street slowing down until she was within the speed limit finally. Sasuke could see the ocean by the time she turned left and then right again into a long drive way.

"Thanks Tenten! You and Hinata should come over for dinner soon!" Naruto said and climbed out. She nodded and Sasuke undid the seatbelt holding the whole car seat. And took Hiruzen out completely.

"Thank you very much for the ride."

"If my driving scared you, wait until you drive with Naruto or Kiba. My advice is to get your license quickly." She replied in a dull tone.

"I will be looking into that tomorrow." Sasuke said with a tight smile and hopped out.

Naruto flipped up the keypad next to the garage and opened it. Bringing his luggage and the babies luggage. Sasuke put his son who was asleep down on the ground and grabbed his luggage so Tenten could back out. Sasuke looked up to his right and saw a high fence and realized that was the pool and tossed his luggage in the garage before picking the car seat up walking through the door seeing tiled floor and a wooden stair case to his right. He set Hiruzen down and grabbed his bags then shut the garage. He put his bags on the landing and undid the straps picking his son up and walking up the stairs. To his right was a huge flat screen t.v. and a sectional. Forward and right was a kitchen and a dining table. Sasuke ventured into the house further. He could see the swimming pool and to his left was just an open area. He walked back around and opened a door noticing it was a half bathroom and climbed up the second set of stairs. Sasuke saw 4 doors. Behind door number one was an office- he was taking it. Behind door number two was another bathroom. Door number three was a guest room and on the right hand side was a set of double doors and it was the master bedroom.

Naruto was standing out on the deck and Sasuke joined him looking out seeing a beautiful view of the ocean.

"Feels good to be home." Naruto said gazing out.

"Hmmm. You realize by the end of the week you won't recognize the interior of the house."

"That's fine. Sakura picked out all this stuff anyway." Naruto said. "Hiruzen can take the guest room as his own. And I sleep on the left side of the bed so I can wake up to this view." Naruto finished with a smirk.

"Fine. I don't like being blinded first thing in the morning."

"I'm used to being blinded. Have you seen how white your ass is?" Naruto said laughing before walking in.

"You should see Suigetsu's ass. It's whiter than his hair."

"Do I even want to know why you've seen his butt?"

"He used to flash his butt to people all the time until we got so used to it that we became immune."

"Hmmmmm."

Naruto threw himself on his California King sized bed.

"We need to go buy new furniture." Naruto said kind of muffled.

Naruto didn't realize how happy he had just made Sasuke. For the night they sucked it up and slept off the exhaustion of travel and bright and early they both got up, showered, molested each other, Naruto jogged to a cafe close by and did take-away before they climbed in Naruto's orange jeep wrangler.

"You realize I'm going to make you pay for the furniture." Naruto said with raised eyebrows.

Naruto turned the ignition and it sputtered and protested but finally started.

"I get to choose everything then." Sasuke shot back.

Long story short, the man who helped Sasuke and Naruto was going to get a nice commission off of everything and Sasuke was thrilled about the delivery being scheduled for the same day. Sheets, pillows, paint and other household accessories, including baby gates, were bought. They made sure to replace the plates and glasses as well. and they arrived back at the house before the delivery truck arrived. They carried everything upstairs all their purchases were placed on the kitchen counter. Naruto went ahead and ordered pizza which thankfully arrived quickly. The delivery truck arrived around 3 and the workers got to work with a bad mood lurking.

"Why don't you go buy some groceries. I'll wait here and supervise." Sasuke suggested.

Naruto eyed him skeptically but licked his fingers and agreed. He pecked Sasuke on the lips and left.

It had been awhile since Naruto had gone grocery shopping with items he knew and loved 100%. He loaded up on his favorites but made sure to include the basics. He bought a few boxes of Cheerios and other Hiruzen friendly snacks.

Sasuke for his part put Hiruzen in a playpen they had picked up and started helping the workers clear out the furniture on the first level of the house and helped them carry up his surprise to Naruto. Whilst his blonde had ventured off carelessly to chase the one year old who Sasuke intentionally let loose, Sasuke had bought Naruto a pool table. They only had one in stock and Sasuke didn't even care what color it was, he told them to bring it. Once it was unwrapped however and set up and Sasuke could see it. He regretted this decision. Naruto would love him and think it was intentional, but if they person had told him the felt was orange he would've waited a little longer. He hung his head and shook it.

He heard Naruto trip on something downstairs, curse, and finish climbing upstairs.

"Ok, I got us food for the week so-" Naruto froze and got really still and quiet.

"You like it?" Sasuke asked.

Naruto set the groceries down and jumped into Sasuke's arms and kissed him.

"Reason number one I will never go back to women- they don't buy pool tables as presents." Naruto said with joy in his eyes.

"I'm sure all genders buy pool tables. It's a matter of funds though." Sasuke said disapprovingly before stepping away to pick his son up and then watch his boyfriend hug the damn table.

Naruto had never been happier with a house present. It was in the perfect location. Next to the kitchen and dining area as well as the barbecue and pool. It fit perfectly in the empty awkward room he and Sakura could never fill. It belonged there. And it was magnificent.
