Cassie watched quietly as Dean loaded their bags up into their rental car. After a flight spent worrying about how Dean meeting Colt and spending time with her dads as her boyfriend and not a good friend of hers and Seth's, she wanted this week to go as smoothly as it possibly could. She had heard about Seth's reaction to her getting with Dean so soon, and she didn't want to have any more bumps in the road caused by how soon she and Dean got together. If she could have her way, nobody would say anything negative about their relationship. But things had a nasty habit of not going her way, so she had to be careful. Very careful.
"What's on your mind, Kitten?"
"Nothing, Sir." She quickly assured, biting her lip when she realized that she had lied to Dean and had been caught. The look in Dean's eye had her looking down to avoid the small amount of anger hidden in those beautiful blue eyes, but she couldn't hide from him for long. He pulled her over to the passenger's side of their rental where they were hidden by the SUVs parked on either side of the Range Rover that they had rented. His hand took hold of her jaw, not rough enough to hurt her but there was enough force in his grip to remind her of her place by his side as his sub. He had called her Kitten, therefore she was meant to be in her subspace and she lied to him, therefore she was going to be punished for it somehow. "I'm sorry, Sir."
"Sorry isn't going to buy you forgiveness for lying, Kitten." He warned, his hand sliding from her jaw down to her throat and gently squeezing to assert his dominance over her. "I'll punish you for it later, though. Be on your best behavior from this point forward, Cassie, because that punishment could definitely be added to. Understood?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Atta girl." Dean praised, gently patting her side twice to let her know that she could get out of her subspace before kissing her cheek. "Was I too rough?"
"Not at all." Cassie spoke up, smiling up at him to assure him that she was okay. He smiled in return as he kissed her forehead, whispering words of his love to her before opening the passenger's side door and helping Cassie into the Rover. "Thanks."
"Not a problem, Cas." Dean assured before shutting the door and jogging around to the other side. He waited until he had them on the road to her dads' house to ask when they were meeting Colt, but was pleasantly surprised to hear that she didn't know.
"Maybe tomorrow we can go get lunch at the Cabanarama? Or maybe...no. That's stupid."
"Cassie, its probably not stupid."
"No, that idea was definitely stupid, babe." She laughed, pushing her hair back before glancing out the window. "I'll text him and see what time is best. Definitely not Thursday, though."
"Why not Thursday?"
"Its his busiest day of the week. He's got finances and grocery orders to go over that day. But yeah, I'll text him and ask." Dean could tell that Cassie was nervous about something, but he couldn't tell just what she could possibly be nervous about. Was she concerned that he wouldn't get along with her former beau? He understood where she was coming from, since Seth was always easily jealous and it was easy for her to assume that he'd just be a dick. But, at the same time, she needed to remember that he was the one who brought up meeting Colt. It wasn't like she was forcing him to do anything, because he wanted this Seattle trip and he suggested going to see Colt and her dads, therefore she should have nothing to worry about. But this was Cassie and Cassie loved to worry about unnecessary things.
They drove for about half an hour through airport traffic, Cassie telling Dean all about the city and all of the fun things she got to do growing up. She found it absurd that Dean had never been to the Space Needle or Pike's Place Market, letting him know that they had to go there sometime during their trip. He was okay with being a tourist with Cassie, he even wanted to spite Seth and send him a "care package" full of Seattle themed tshirts and knick-knacks to rub it in that he was on a vacation with Cassie while Seth was stuck at home wallowing in his misery.
Once the airport traffic was over, they got sucked into city traffic. Of course, there was an accident which meant that they were stuck sitting in the car while Dean just kept his foot on the break. Cassie could only smile, looking over at her impatient boyfriend as he drummed his fingers on his thigh. He hated traffic, and she loved the opportunity that traffic provided her. Of course, this was something she had done for Seth a couple times on road trips, but she felt as though Dean would be a bit more appreciative of this little talent.
Dean felt a small hand on his thigh and looked over at Cassie, smirking when he saw the look in her eyes. That was lust and mischief, and he didn't think there was anything sexier than when she got that mischievous glint in her eye.
"What are you doing, Cas?"
"I'm going to entertain you, babe." She spoke with a smile, her hand moving to his denim covered crotch and gently rubbing her hand against him. "Something tells me that you like that idea."
"I like it a lot, Cassie." He mumbled, shifting in his seat as he watched her adjust her seat belt to give her better range of motion before her hands went to his belt.
"Thought you would." She spoke with a grin, unbuttoning his jeans and slowly sliding the zipper down. "No underwear? Can't say that I'm surprised."
"Gotta make TSA's job easy." Dean joked, his hand going to Cassie's hair wrist when her hand gripped his semi erect length. "That's it baby, get me hard."
"You're going to want to take the first right turn when that option becomes available." Cassie instructed, sitting casual and correcting her seatbelt when they drove passed responding officers. Her hand continued to work Dean's length, though, never faltering in the slow pace that she set. "Wanna just head to The Cabanarama for lunch and take our chances on seeing Colt?"
"Sounds like a plan." Dean agreed, sucking in a harsh breath when she squeezed just below the head of his erection. "You better take care of me, baby."
"I'd never leave you with a raging boner, Dean. As hilarious as that would be, I'd never want to risk embarrassing you." She assured, looking around to make sure that nobody was paying attention before leaning down and taking his erection into her mouth. She was thanking god for tinted windows while he was thanking God and every higher power that may be for his Kitten.
Cassie smiled when she saw Colt behind the counter working. But she knew that this meant that he wouldn't have time to talk because somebody had called out and he didn't have the time to call in a replacement. This was why she directed Dean to a table and made her way to the coffee bar, smiling at the way Colt grinned up at her.
"Is lover boy here with you?"
"Yeah, but I can see that you're busy as fuck and that's why I didn't get a text back." She responded, laughing at the way Colt's eyes widened as she grabbed two glasses for iced coffee.
"Oh, shit, babycakes. I'm so sorry."
"Colt, relax." She assured, loving how bothered he looked. "You're busy, not blowing me off."
"Yeah, but still." He mumbled, watching as she scooped ice into the cups. "When are you and Dean totally free?"
"Today is Tuesday, so... Friday?"
"Mmm, Kali and I have a date that night. Going to the aquarium together. I think she'd be cool with making it a double date, though."
"Dean likes aquariums. I'll talk to him and you can talk to Kali and see where things go?" Cassie asked and Colt nodded, handing her the whipped ream canister that she loved using so much.
"Sounds good." Colt agreed with the plan, letting her go overboard on the whipped cream. "Save some for everybody else, babycakes."
"Oh, shut up." She laughed, handing the canister back. "I'll be back with our orders."
"You better be eating food, too." Colt playfully demanded, watching Cassie walk away with a smile. Dean had turned to see what was taking Cassie so long, and assumed that the big guy staring at Cassie as she walked was the infamous Colt Cabana. He was an attractive guy and he could see why Cassie would want to be with him. But, at the end of the day, she was with him and not Colt Cabana, and Dean had to remind himself to not get defensive or jealous.
"Somebody called out and the restaurant is busy as hell, but Colt was going to talk to Kali and see if a double date at the aquarium was okay if it was okay with you." Cassie informed as she sat down, setting the glass of iced coffee in front of her boyfriend and smiling at him. "Is that fine with you?"
"I'd love to be at the aquarium. And if he's got his girlfriend then he won't be focusing on mine." Dean joked, making Cassie laugh before taking a drink of her coffee.
"I'm yours, though, Dean." She spoke softly and Dean nodded, taking her hand in his and kissing her knuckles.
"I know, Cas. You're as mine as I am yours."
Dean sat comfortably on the couch as Cassie and her dads caught up on the last two weeks that she had been gone. To his relief, both men seemed alright with him and Cassie being together but both warned him to look after her. There was to be no more breaking her heart, because nobody would see him again if he did. Cassie's dads may have been an interior decorator and an accountant, but he knew that both would carry out their threat. Seth cheating on her with a man royally fucked up poor Cassie and neither man wanted to see her that torn up again, which was why they were being so protective of her. Dean understood and respected that more than anything.
"...so yeah. We want to move to Oregon." Cassie finished, smiling when her dads nodded their approval. At least Dean hoped that it was approval because he wasn't changing this plan. Cassie was so excited to move to Oregon, he wasn't going to let anybody take that from her. Not even her dads.
"So, Dean." Her father started, looking to the blonde which got Dean the attention of the whole room. Cassie noticed the slight apprehension in Dean's face and leaned back into him in an effort to relax him. "Five year plan?"
"Marriage and kids." Was his instant reply, looking right into her father's eyes as he spoke confidently. "I've been in love with your daughter since I first met her, and all I want to do is take care of her. I know that I want to marry her and have kids with her. Not, like, tomorrow but in the next five years we should either have a baby or be pregnant with our first."
Cassie was wowed by that response. She and Dean hadn't had the "five year plan" talk yet, so all of this was unexpected. She agreed with it all whole heartedly, but that didn't stop her from being caught off guard by his response. Seth was never this open to talking about kids and when he wanted to have him, other than waiting until they had turned thirty to start trying for kids. All she wanted was to be a mother, and Dean was going to give her that? It was almost unreal to her.
After an hour more of casual conversation, Dean and Cassie headed up to bed. She was cuddled up to him and watching him change, smiling to herself at the thought of having his child. A hand came to rest on her stomach, gently rubbing it while she thought about her future with Dean. She hoped that they had a son with his father's good looks and gorgeous eyes, but wondered what a girl would look like. Maybe sandy blonde hair like her father's? Or her dark hair and her father's beautiful blue eyes. She knew that she didn't want her daughter looking like her, because good looks like hers were bound to attract trouble.
'Cause I'm a fucking douche. Cassie laughed at herself, successfully grabbing Dean's attention as he tied the drawstring of her pajama pants. He waited until after he had shut off the light and was was laying in bed behind her, smiling as his hand covered hers on her stomach.
"What's so funny Cas?"
"I was thinking about what our kids would look like, and I was praying that our daughter didn't look like me."
"And why's that?" Dean asked, his voice barely above a whisper as he gave her body a gentle squeeze.
"Because good looks like mine are bound to attract trouble."
"You can be such a douche sometimes, babe." He teased, gently nipping at her ear lobe before kissing her neck. "But you're my douche, so its okay. I love you regardless."
"You better."
Dean wanted to act like he wasn't bothered that she didn't tell him that she loved him, he really did. He understood why she wasn't saying it back, because she had be stuck with Seth for so long and feeling as though she loved him, and it was so soon after her divorce. But that didn't mean that he wasn't bothered by the fact that she wouldn't say it back. She'd kiss him or change the subject, but she hadn't said it back yet. But that was okay. She'd say it eventually.
