I don't own Harry Potter or Ghost Hunt, I am just having a little fun with it all.

Well, I am now done with chapter 028 for this one, so am catching up with myself, which will mean longer between updates if I do. I need the help of someone to go through the chapters, to look for mistakes or plot holes (I know there are some). Also, if you have any ideas, make sure to write them down on the forum - myforums/Duochanfan/385270/ - I have already used one of the ideas and have plans for a few of the others.

Well, I hope you enjoy this chapter, one more to go and then an Interlude and then a new case. Woot, that hasn't finished being gone through.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Case File Five – Two Sides

Part Three

Everyone walked back into the base room after breakfast, as soon as Naru and Lin had woken up, Harry and John had show them what had happened on the third floor. The four of them didn't have time to discuss it as the others were now up and breakfast was ready to be served. Mai went over to the counter that had been set up for her to make tea on and started to make some for everyone. Lin went over to the monitors and rewound the video so the others could see what happened on the third floor after they all went back to bed.

"Why don't you all watch the video," Naru said as he gestured to the monitor.

"Mai, I'll finish the tea, you watch the video." Harry said as he went over to the counter where Mai was and took over making the tea.

As Harry finished making the tea and started to hand out the cups, the video finished. They had heard his conversation with John as well. He settled down as the others did the same.

"Well, why didn't you tell us you would be going up to the third floor, we could have gone with you." Monk said to him and John.

"Well, it was a split second decision on my part. Something called me up there." Harry told him with a small grin.

Naru looked over to him and asked, "What do you mean that something called you up there?"

Harry looked at him and answered as best as he could, "well, it felt like there was a pull, just a small yank, nothing bad about it at all. It felt like someone was grabbing my hand and pulled me there."

"Did you get anything while you were up there?" he then asked him.

"She was sad and hurt, she had been hurt in the past, but that wasn't what killed her, something else did," Harry paused for a moment, wondering what he could do to get it across that they maybe magical without reviewing another world to those in front of him. He would like to have told them the truth, and maybe one day he would be able to, but for now, he couldn't say anything. "This secret that they have is something that they did, it was part of their life, not a religion, but something more. I think this is what killed her, but I don't know why she hasn't moved on. I also don't think that this spirit is the one that is attacking the men." He added, not really revealing much.

"Why do you say that?" Ayako asked him, "clearly if this is the spirit that is appearing to everyone, wouldn't she naturally be the one responsible?"

Harry shook hi head, "don't forget they did mention that a male spirit has been seen as well, and I think he is the one responsible for that. Not only that, but she feels very forgiving and welcoming. It's as though she is still herself, she's been protected, what ever it is that protects them the spirits at my old school, is here as well. If that is the case, then the spirit that is doing the attacking, knows what they are doing," he paused for a moment, "or it's only protecting her."

"Could that really be the case, from what we have heard from you a spirit behind one of these barriers is protected," Lin spoke up from where he was by the monitors.

Harry nodded, "it does happen, though it can be rare. It could be that there is something within a person when they die that helps the barriers in protecting them." He informed him. "I might talk to a friend about it, she would know a little more, its something that she has researched recently." He said thinking of Hermione; she had become fascinated by the madness that Muggle spirits delve into when they die, compared to the magical ones. She had taken to researching all she could on it, though there wasn't much to go on and had taken to talking with Sir Nicholas.

"Who would that be?" Mai asked him curious as to whom it could be; maybe it would be a new friend for her to meet.

"Hermione, since she heard I have taken this job, she has become fascinated by what we do. And she has taken to researching. Since she is still at Hogwarts, she has been talking to Sir Nicholas about being a spirit, since he is a ghost, and one that died 503 years ago. We actually went to his 500th death day party on Halloween three years ago, he'll be 504 this year." Harry answered her with a grin.

"He died over 500 years ago, how?" Mai inquired.

"A botched beheading, he has a nickname that he doesn't particularly like, Nearly Headless Nick. He wanted to join the headless hunt, but since his head is still attached, he can't. Also from what I got from him, it the nickname started some three hundred years ago and its never left. Two of the spirits there, The Grey Lady and the Bloody Barron, have been there for over a thousand years. No one remembers their real names, though I did finally find out the Grey Lady's, her names Helena. She ran off, and her mother sent the Barron after her, in anger he killed her and then in remorse killed himself. The two of them returned to the castle as spirits, and never left. Though only a small few know their story. The Barron doesn't talk with anyone; the Grey Lady prefers to keep to herself, it took me a good three years to get her to talk to me," He told her a little about the spirits in his old school.

"I wish I had gone to your school, it sounds like it would have been fun," Mai smiled to her friend.

"May sound like it, but it wasn't, at first you may have found it exciting with the different things around you, but they become ordinary after a while." Harry told her, thankful that she didn't know anything about his adventures while he went there, "though I did meet some great friends there." Harry smiled as he thought about the Weasley's and Hermione, Luna, Neville and others.

"We met Ron and Hermione, who else is there?" Monk asked him.

"Neville, his birthday is the day before mine, he is afraid of his own shadow, but braver than anyone else I know. He is so afraid that it could easily paralyse him on the spot, but he still carries on, gets up every day and goes through it. He's forgetful about a lot of things as well, but its just who he is." Harry smiled as he told them a little about his friend, "Then there is Luna, she's… different, she says the most inane things, but if you listen closely enough, you'll hear the wisdom in them. She feels like an old soul, if you know what I mean. She watched her mother die in front of her, unable to do anything, and that made her grow up and use her imagination to keep people at bay, though it didn't work for me, Hermione and Ron." He said talking about the blond teen that had an imagination, which was just old wisdom.

"I hope we get to meet them," Mai enthused, "are there any more?" She was eager at learning a little more about Harry and his life before coming to Japan.

"Ginny, Ron's little sister, had a massive crush on me at one point, I stayed at their house when I was younger. She came down to breakfast, squeaked and ran back up to her room when she saw me, later that day she ended up with hr elbow in a butter dish. She's normal around me now, and she's lost her crush. I think she was dating one of the guys in my dorm." Harry chuckled as he remembered their first meeting. "Then there is Fred and George, Ron's twin brothers, they are older than us by two years, their birthday is April 1st and it's the perfect day for them, since they love a good prank and will pull them on anyone and everyone. They did try to get their mother once, which was funny, since she turned it back on them. They'll do anything for a laugh, but they are protective at times and serious when needed." He said with a grin.

"How many siblings does Ron have, or is that it?" Ayako asked him.

"He has three more older brothers, Bill, he's the oldest, he works in Egypt as an archaeologist," Harry told them, though he couldn't really tell them that he was a curse breaker, "then there is Charlie, he works at a preserve for endangered animals." The only thing he could come up with to say that he worked with Dragons, "and last is Percy, he does government work, don't know exactly what these days, he had a bit of a falling out with his parents recently, Ron's not said if they have made amends yet."

"I hope they do, sounds like a great family." Mai said, Harry could hear the slight envy in her voice as well as feel it.

"Yeah, they are." Harry nodded in agreement, he really would love for Mai to meet them, he knew that as soon as Molly found out she was an orphan she would be mothering the poor girl within a nanosecond.

"Are you all finished?" Naru asked as he looked at them all, "we do have work to do." He added.

Harry shook his head slightly with a smile on his face, "yeah, we're finished Naru, what do you want us to do?"

"Split up into groups and look around, Mai, Ayako and Miss Hara as one group, John, Monk and yourself as another. Maybe with you all gone, especially Mai, I would be able to think." Naru groused a little, though Harry could tell he didn't really mean anything by it.

"Why you!" Mai yelled as she raised a fist towards her boss.

"I am telling the truth it was your questions that started this little chat off." Naru looked at her through narrowed eyes, amusement was rolling off his once again, making Harry roll his eyes.

"So, I wanted to know more about Harry, you can't tell me your not curious?" Mai huffed at her boss.

"Whether I am or not has no bearing on this, we are here to work." He retorted, "now go and do something productive with your time for a while at least." He added on.

"Grrr," She growled as she stalked out of the room, Ayako and Masako following after her.

"One day Naru, one day," Harry said as he stood up and started towards the room.

John and Monk looked at each other, wondering what Harry was going on about. The two shrugged and followed Harry out of the room.

"He's right Noll," Lin said when the room was empty.

Naru looked at his friend and smirked a little, "we'll see."

XxXxX

The three men walked towards the third floor, where the male apparition had been seen once before, it was on the opposite end from where the balcony doors were. Harry looked around; there was something here, not a spirit but something else. He looked around, looking in the more out of the way areas in case something was there. Harry sighed as he turned to face John and Monk.

"There's something here, not a spirit, but there is something." Harry told them both as he then turned back and started to look around again.

"Like what?" And what are you looking for?" Monk asked him, as he looked puzzled by Harry's behaviour.

"I'm not sure what it is, but it's just a feeling and it's making itself known strongly as well. It's nothing like the female spirit and her pull from last night. This is something a lot different, it feels a little familiar as well, but I cant really place where from." Harry murmured to them, "as for what I am looking for, something out of place, that doesn't look like it belongs. I'm not too sure." He added as he answered the last question.

"That's not helping at all." Monk shook his head in annoyance.

"I can't help that Monk. There is something about this place that screams familiar, and I don't know if it is the barriers," Harry said, using barriers to explain that there is magic here, "When I come across what I am looking for, I will know that it is what I was looking for." He said.

John nodded and spoke, "I just wish we could help you look, but since you don't really know, we wont be much help."

Harry looked over to them and smiled, "I know that John. I just can't help it this time."

He carried on looking around, while the other two went around looking too, though they didn't know exactly what they were looking for but they thought if they spotted something unusual then they would be able to tell Harry and he could have a look at it. They heard a noise coming from downstairs and stopped what they were doing.

The three of them gave a quick glance at one another before they headed off towards the stairs. As they reached them another noise, this time they could tell that it was the slamming of a door. There were more slams as the three rushed down when they heard a scream. It sounded like Mai. They reached the second floor just as Naru ran towards them.

In the middle of the hallway were Ayako, Mai and Masako. Around them the doors were slamming open and closed. The noise was almost deafening. Harry lowered his shields and could feel anger coming through strongly. Harry looked over to Masako; he could tell that she felt something as well.

Then as suddenly as it started, the noise stopped. The anger was still there though it had moved away. Harry looked around and was about to say something when there was a loud yell coming from downstairs. Harry opened himself up a little more and found Lin, he could feel that the older man was in pain.

"Its Lin," Naru said, his eyes wide and worried for his friend, as he recognised the yell.

The others nodded and ran down the stairs and to the base room. Naru and Harry were first into the room, they glanced around and saw Lin over the far side, he was on the floor and was about to sit up when Naru rushed over to him saying, "don't move Lin, lets make sure you're all right first."

Harry went over as well and Naru knelt down to check him over, "Naru, why don't you let me, I can do it better." The young wizard suggested.

Naru nodded, as he remembered what Harry had done on a previous case and healed someone after they had been hurt, "go ahead."

Harry knelt down next to Naru and brought up his hands, letting the light gather around them, to masquerade the diagnostic spell that he had sent towards Lin. It didn't take long for the results to flash up within his mind. Lin had a broken left arm, bruised ribs as well as a mild concussion. There wasn't much he could do for the concussion, not even magic was able to cure that. But the broken arm and bruised ribs he could heal. Harry then sent a few healing spells to Lin, healing what was wrong.

"You still have a mild concussion, so take it easy and rest, but don't sleep. Concussions are one of the few things I can't heal," Harry told him as he finished and then, with Naru, helped Lin to his feet and over to one of the armchairs.

Lin nodded and said softly, "thank you."

Harry smiled at him and replied, "your welcome."

"What happened Lin?" Naru asked as he sat down across from his friend.

"When the slamming of the doors stopped upstairs, there was a sudden rush of cold air in the room, I didn't have time to react to anything when something slammed into my chest as I started to turn around to face the door. I was thrown across the room, where you found me," Lin explained what happened, "I've not felt something like that in a long time, there was a lot of force behind it."

"I think it was the male spirit, all I got was a feeling of anger. And let me tell you there was a lot of it." Harry said as he looked to the older man.

"I believe it." Lin agreed.

"Miss Hara, did you sense anything?" Naru then asked as he turned to the young medium.

She nodded her head slightly as she answered, "yes, but I couldn't tell if it was a spirit or not. It was as though it was everywhere at once, but nowhere at the same time. It's very confusing."

"There is something about this place that screams something familiar to me, but on the other hand, it's so different from what I know." Harry said softly.

"I wish you would hurry up and figure it out," Ayako said as she looked to the young wizard.

Harry smiled to her and replied, "I wish the same, Ayako." He then looked to Naru and said, "I think we should stick close today, the anger I felt earlier maybe gone, but it can always come back, we'll go around the place again, since I want to get a good look on the third floor, its where both of them appear. So there has to be something to the third floor that draws them there all the time. I haven't heard from anyone else that they have appeared anywhere else in the house. Though the attacks do happen in any part of the house."

"Well, lunch will be soon, when that is done we'll look on the third floor." Naru suggested.

"Sounds like a plan," Harry nodded as he looked to Lin and said, "You, should rest. And make sure there is someone else around at all times, remember no one is to go off alone."

The group settled down to wait to be called for lunch; they had their meals with Junko and Fumiko in the main dinning room. They used the time to keep the two of them informed on what they had found so far. Though a few things were held back a little, so they wouldn't frighten them any more than they already were.

Nothing else happened during the rest of the day, and the group that went to search around the third floor found nothing. Though Harry hoped he would be able to find something soon. That night Monk and Mai had the first shift, followed by Lin and Naru; Harry couldn't help but wonder what would be happening that night, if anything would.

XxXxX

Harry looked around and he could see Mai standing with Gene, though she still didn't know that was his name and that he was actually Naru's twin. He walked over to them and smiled as Mai noticed him first.

"Harry!" she called out with a watery smiled.

"What happened Mai?" he asked her, it was obvious to him that he had come to them at the end of what ever it was that Mai had enter the spirit realm to know.

"He loved her so much, they wanted to run away, but they found them and hurt them." She said, her eyes going sad as she remember what happened.

"Well, don't forget when you wake up to tell Naru and the rest of us all what you saw, but for now. I don't think you need to relive what had happened again." Harry said softly.

"You should listen to him, he'll guide you as best as he can, just like I do." Gene smiled down at the younger teen.

"I will Naru," she smiled up at him. Moments later she disappeared leaving the two others alone.

"What to tell me what that was about?" Harry then asked Gene, since he was more used to seeing things like that, Mai was still new to it all.

"She saw the two spirits that reside in the manor, before they died. They were beaten, almost to the point of death; they haven't showed us what happened after. Though, I think you should watch and then you maybe be able to find out who they were." Gene told him.

Harry nodded his head as the scene around him changed. It was the bedroom where he and John had first set up. He looked around and saw two teens; they were looked to be around John's age.

"Shiro, we can not remain here, if my father or grandfather find out then he will kill us both." The young woman said as she leant against Shiro.

"Then we shall run away, get married and have a family, Natsuko." Shiro smiled softly down at his lover.

"We go tonight?" she suggested.

"How about we go now, things are packed already, you said that your father and grandfather are out on business, so we have chance to go now." He told her.

She smiled brightly and nodded her head. He rushed around and gathered the case that had been put together for her trip to her cousins in a few days, it would do for her until they found a place. The two rushed out of the room, passing a little girl as they did so. No words were said as they started towards the stairs. The two of them stopped when two people blocked their way.

"I though I told you, that you were never to see him again." A middle-aged man said, his teeth ground together in anger.

"Father I love him, why can that not be enough." Natsuko pleaded with him.

"His blood has no gift, he is not fit for one such as you." He told her.

"He loves me, unlike the one you wish for me to marry. He thinks only of himself and his status." She argued back with him.

"You are my daughter, and you shall marry him, at least then your children's blood will be pure, and not mudded." He told her as he and the elder male beside him advanced on the two of them.

The scene swirled as it changed to a room, bare of everything, except two bloodied figure holding each other's hands. To Harry it looked like a ritual room but he couldn't be sure since he didn't know that mush about eastern magic's. Harry looked around and saw a small figure peeking around the door. With that, the scene faded and it was just Gene and Harry in the spirit realm once again.

"That was it?" Harry said.

"No, that wasn't all, I don't understand, they showed Mai the two of them being beaten." Gene said a little confused.

"Maybe it's because I am someone different and they need me to see other things." Harry said as he thought back on the last two scenes he had seen. The words that her father spoke of, sounded like the mudblood and pureblood comments that he had heard back in England, he didn't know what the situation was like over here. He would have to find out. Also since the room looked like a ritual room, maybe that was part of what was keeping them here. It was another thing that he would have to look into. He needed to go to the library, there was normally a magical section in some of them, and maybe he could do that. But it would need to be soon.

"Maybe, I don't really know, though I thought I would by now, I have been floating around here for almost two years." Gene spoke softly.

"Yeah, but you're not really part of this realm and, hopefully, you wont be for a long time." Harry told him.

"I suppose you're right." Gene smiled to him, "well, its time for you to sleep," he added.

Harry nodded, he stepped forwards and held Gene for a moment, "never forget, you're not a spirit, keep fighting to come back so I can tell Noll that you're alive." He smiled a little as he then let go and faded away.

"I'll try." Gene said to the ether as he then faded from the realm and tried to reconnect with his physical body.

XxXxX

A scream woke some out of a sound sleep. It came from the girl's bedroom. Monk, John and Harry stood outside as Monk knocked on the door. Ayako let them in and turned to go back to one of the beds where Mai was sat.

"What happened?" Monk asked as another knock came at the door, this time it was Lin and Naru.

"I was brushing my hair and I was looking in the mirror and it changed. I was no longer there but it was someone else, a face from my dream. She was trapped, ropes bound her in place and she couldn't move." Mai said, everyone could see that she was a little shaky after what she had seen in the mirror.

"It's all right Mai," Harry comforted her as he went over to her and wrapped an arm around her, he felt a little annoyance coming from Naru, and sent 'Should move quicker Naru.'

Mai nodded her head as she leaned into her friend. "I feel helpless because I don't know what it means. Or even if it does mean something."

"I think it does, we just have to figure out what." Harry told her softly.

She nodded her head and stood up, she took a deep breath and said, "Right, we should get to breakfast." And with that everyone left the room heading to the dinning room where they would be having breakfast with Fumiko ad Junko.

XxXxX

After breakfast the next morning they were gathered in the base room when Harry looked over to Mai and said, "you should speak about your dream now, while everyone is here."

With those words, everyone turned to Mai as Naru asked her, "You mentioned that earlier after the incident with the mirror, can you tell us?"

Mai nodded her head as she spoke softly, "I watched as these two teenagers said that they were going to run away together. They started to run and her father and grandfather caught them. He took them to a room in the house and beat them. The two of them beat them with something, and beat him with their bare hands. All I could hear was their bones breaking." She shuddered as she remembered what she had seen.

"What there anything else that you saw, this could be important," Naru prompted her.

Mai thought for a moment and then said, "there was a little girl around and she saw everything, she saw the two men take them away, and she came into the room at one point when they stopped beating them."

"Was there anything else?" Monk asked her, he, like the others, wanted to know if there was anything else that had been seen or something that had been heard.

Mai thought a little longer and closed her eyes, she shivered as the images she had seen last night came back to her, "they said something, the couple, she, Natsuko, said, 'we'll be together forever.' And he, Shiro, said, 'forever and always.' I thought it was so sweet when I heard it, but now, when I think about it. It sounds more like a promise made before death." She whispered.

"So we have two names, Shiro and Natsuko. It sounds like the Natsuko woman lived here. So there should be a record of it somewhere." Naru said, "So I think a trip to the library is needed."

"Yeah, I need to check something else out as well. Though I don't know if the library here will have the book I am looking for, as it's a rare one." Harry then spoke, hoping it would be all right if he went off by himself.

"Then go check." Naru told him as he looked to the other teen.

Harry nodded his head as he looked at the others and said, "So who will be coming with me?"

"I'll go," Mai smiled as she jumped up from where she sat, she really wanted to get out the house for a little while. Her dream was still playing on her mind, she didn't know if she should believe it or not.

"I'll come again." John also smiled as he too stood up.

"Word of warning when we get there I will be moving around a lot, since there is a rare book I would like to check out." Harry told them as they all started to go out of the room since no one else had spoken up about going with him.

"Okay," Mai and John said as the two of them followed him out of the room and headed towards the library.

XxXxX

Mai and John settled down into the archive part of the Library while Harry started going around, trying to find out if there was a magical library, he would be able to tell by a small symbol that would be on one of the bookcases, it would be just like platform 9 and ¾, and that he would be able to go through a gateway and into a new area. It didn't take him long to find it as he walked around. He entered the magical part of the library and smiled as he looked around the room.

He walked down the aisle having a look at the books as he walked past, hoping that one of them would stand out to him. He smiled as he went down another and came across the one that he was after. It was set apart from the other books. It was a book that was in almost every magical library would have one of them in their archives; it was a way to keep track of births, deaths and marriages, since it would record them automatically.

He looked through it to try and find the names that had been mentioned, as well as the family name. Though it was now a possibility that they were now changed, since there had been a female marrying and no one to carry on the family name. He looked through and came across two Natsuko in the time frames that they were after, one was 18, and the other was 26. He took down their details, and when they died, there was only one that had the cause of death, but the other one didn't.

Harry quickly copied what he needed, making sure that he didn't take anything that alluded to the magical world, it wouldn't do for the others to find out at this time. He looked around a little longer; he wanted to see if there was anything on curses in the library. He walked over to a young woman that was standing near the entrance and smiled to her.

"Hello, I am looking for a book about ritual curses, something that a Muggle would be able to see and read but not connect with the magical world?" he asked her, wanting to know if there was anything like that available.

"I am sorry sir, but there is nothing like that, though we do have a book on ritual curses. You will have to keep it away from any Muggle's, you are given permission to copy small amounts of it, but nothing more." She told him with an apologetic smile.

"I don't live in the area, would I be able to borrow the book and then send it back via owl at all?" he then asked her, as she walked away to show him where the book was.

"Yes, sir, as long as we can get a magical signal and address it will be fine." She nodded her head with a smile on her face.

"Brilliant, thank you." He grinned back as they reached one of the aisles.

"This is the book, Ritual Curses and Their Counters, I hope it helps you in what you are doing." She told him as she took it off the shelf and gave it to the young wizard.

"Thank you." Harry nodded as he took the book from her and then went over to one of the tables and then read through a little of it, he could tell that it might help in the future, but he didn't know if it would be able to help with the case at all.

He went over to where the woman was now standing around, he gave her his address and then used his wand to let them record his magical signature, it was the same thing he did when he was a Hogwarts and needed a book from the school library.

"Thank you," he murmured as he went away and then went to find Mai and John.

He found the two of them going through records of those within the area that might match the people that they were seeing. He sat back down and smiled at them both.

"Have you found anything Harry?" Mai asked him as she looked up from the old records that she was looking through.

"I think I might have found her, though I found no record of her death. I'll explain more when we get back so that I can tell the others as well." Harry nodded his head as he thought about what he had found.

"Oh that's good, we haven't found anything for her, and I don't know if we have found anything for Shiro at the moment. Though John might have a lead on that, he is looking up a few things for that." Mai told him with a smile, as John looked up for a moment and smiled and then went back to his research.

It was a few moments later when John looked up once again and said softly, "I think I might have something."

The other two stopped what they were doing and looked to him as Harry asked him, "What like?"

"Well, this Shiro Ito worked in the town and started to court the young woman in the manor house, where we are. Then one day he went up there and then disappeared and so did the daughter of the house. There is nothing else about him but that. Only that he worked at one of the factories and then disappeared. No one has seen him since then." He answered him.

"Copy out what you need and then we will get back to Naru and the others." Harry nodded as he thought about what John had told him.

"All right." John nodded as he stood up and went to photo coy what he had found.

As soon as he was done the three of them left the library and went back to Naru and the rest of the group.

XxXxX

The three walked into the Base Room and sat down. Harry looked around and could tell that nothing had happened while they had been at the library. Naru looked at them all and waited for one of them to start talking about what they had been able to find out, and if they had been able to find anything out.

"Well, I think we found this Shiro, and Natsuko." Harry said with a small smile as he looked to John to hand over the papers that he had printed off, as Harry handed over what had found on Natsuko.

Naru quickly read through them before he summed up what he had read. "Well, Shiro Ito, worked in the town, and was courting the young woman that once lived here in the manor. It says here that his disappearance came the day after he had decided to propose. He and Natsuko both disappeared at the same time and it was the general thought of those in the town and those here that the two of them had eloped together, since her Father and Grandfather both disapproved of the match, while her mother was all for it."

"But there is no proof that Natsuko or Shiro died at all, and who said they would have died here?" Mai asked, as she had read through everything as well.

"Well, the only thing that I can think of is that someone lied about what happened to them, and if you remember your dream, there was someone hanging around when they were killed," Harry said as he remembered that Mai had one of her Dreams.

"yeah, but I'm still not sure on them, and we don't know if we are right." Mai said softly, a little unsure of her dreams and what they could mean.

"Well, there is only one way to find out. Natsuko, is the elder sister of the elderly lady that lives here, Fumiko." Harry said as he pointed out that last bit of information that was on the papers that they had handed over to Naru.

"then I think we shall have to go and have a word with her." Naru said as he stood up from where he was sat and said, "Harry come with me and take notes."

"of course." Harry nodded his head as he too got up and grabbed a notebook and pen and followed Naru as he walked out of the room to search for Fumiko.

"Junko, may we talk to your grandmother please, it is important?" Naru asked, semi politely.

"Yes, I shall take you to her sitting room." Junko smiled at them all, Harry could feel that she was curious as to what they could talk to her grandmother about. She led them through the house and to some double doors on the ground floor. She knocked and waited for an answer within. When it came, she opened the doors and said softly, "Grandmother, the investigator would like to talk to you, will that be all right?"

"Let them in Junko," a voice came from a chair near the window.

Junko let them past her and smiled, "bye grandmother, Kazuya, Harry."

"Junko," Harry nodded politely as she closed the door and the two of them walked over to the elderly woman.

Fumiko was sat looking out the window; her face was tired and worried. She turned deep brown eyes to them and smiled in welcome. "Hello young ones. Please sit down and make yourselves comfortable and tell me why you need to speak with me?" she asked them as the two sat down.

"We have come across some information about a woman called Natsuko, and we believe that the one that is here is actually your sisters spirit." Harry said, not know how he could have told her that in a gentle way.

"I loved my sister very much, she was much older than me, and I miss her greatly. Everyone always said she had run away, but I knew that she would not do such a thing and not contact me, and I knew that Shiro was protective over her so much. My Father and Grandfather were tyrants. I was just glad that they both died before I was ten. The two of them demanded that Shiro and Natsuko break up. I knew they wouldn't they loved each other so much, it was like there was a special connection between the two of them. One than not even death would be able to break." She told them. Harry was beginning to get a feeling the two of them had bonded in a more magical way. If they had said the words then there was nothing that anyone could have done to break them apart.

"It sounds as though they would take the chance to run away. And have a clean break." Naru said, fishing for more information.

"They were going to run away, they had told me that, and had said that they would be back after they were married. They had found someone that would do it, and without my Father and Grandfather knowing and interfering, they were going to have one of the maids here take me, so I could watch them marry." She said as she sighed a little, "There is something else as well, when I was a child a few days after they were supposed to have run away. I have a very vague memory, I had thought it a dream, but now, I saw my Grandfather and Father over my sister and Shiro, they were chanting something, something forbidden unless a person wished for it. But my sister she was telling them to stop, and they wouldn't. She saw me and with her hand told me to go. So I did. I don't know what happened to them after that." She added, though as she spoke she was looking out of the window, as though trying to pull the memory closer.

"Thank you, and that memory was real." Harry said, as he thought of the dream Mai had.

"Then you will be able to find out what happened to them and why their spirits are lingering here?" she asked them.

"we will do our best to find out." Harry reassured her.

"thank you for talking to us." Naru said as he stood up, looking to Harry who had written down word for word what Fumiko had told them.

"Well, we just have to find out what it was that was done to them to be able to reveres it." Harry said as he tried to think what it could be that would be able to have done this. There were a number of things that they could have done to the pair, but it was now finding the right one.

Naru and Harry walked down the hallway back toward the base room, when Harry felt an overwhelming sense of anger coming from the end of the hallway. Harry grabbed onto Naru's arm and stopped him from going any further.

"what's going on?" Naru asked him as he looked to the green-eyed wizard.

"there is something at the end of the hallway, and it isn't too happy either." Harry replied as he looked to the end of the hallway.

Naru looked to the end of the hallway and waited as well. He could tell that Harry was now on edge about what was going on and what he was feeing at that moment. Slowly something seemed to materialise at the end of the corridor, it was a young ma, his jet-black hair was cut close to his head and angry dark eyes staring at the two of them.

Harry shivered a little as he felt the emotions of the young man crash into his metal shields and crack them a little. Harry could tell that there was a build up of energy at the other end of the hallway and pushed Naru out of the way as it bolted towards them. It flew past them and then the man vanished.

"Harry?" Naru asked a little concerned.

"He threw something at us, I could feel it. I don't think it would have been a good idea for it to hit us." Harry said in answer.

"Were you able to tell what he was feeling?" Naru then said as he looked around and then down to the young wizard.

"He was angry, there was a lot of that, and it was aimed towards us. But there was a sense of loss within him as well, there is love towards someone, but it's tinged with sadness." Harry told him, "Oh, I'll need to do a little meditating, that one cracked my shields a little bit, it wont take me long to fix them back up at all," he added as the two of them started off back to the base room to tell the others, and to get another camera set up in this area, since this was one of the places that they hadn't set up one.

The two walked into the room and sat down, Harry would do it a little meditating in a moment, he knew that the two of them would be telling the others what they had just gone through.

"Lin, you and Monk set up a Camera in the ground floor hallway near the back of the building." Naru told him as he looked to the room.

"What happened?" Monk was the one to ask as he could see that something had gone on with the two of them.

"Well, first off, we talked to Fumiko and the spirit is Natsuko, her sister, and she gave us a little more information, that leads credence to Mai and her dream." Naru answered.

"What else?" Lin asked, he could tell that there was something else as well.

"We saw an apparition of a male as we were walking back." Harry started, "he was angry and threw some kind of energy at us as well. He is violent from what I can tell. But only towards men, we've not heard of him attack any of the women at all." He then added as he thought a little more of what had happened and what had been said before then.

"So we will have to be careful about this one, the female spirit seems to be very docile. While the male one is more volatile and will harm any men that are around and they don't have to be on their own." Naru said, warning the group to be careful as they went around.

"All right Naru," Monk said as the others nodded. "Shall we go Lin?" he then asked as he looked to the quiet man.

Lin nodded his head and then grabbed one of the cameras and went with Monk to set up. They went quiet as Mai went to make another drink for everyone, Harry stood up and said to the others, "I'm going to my room for a while, just going to meditate." He said as he nodded to them all and walked out of the room.
