They went to get dressed, Baby helped Johnny with choosing the clothes.
"You look very gorgeous in your white jacket." Baby said with a smile.
"I don't know how fancy you father wants me to be dressed." Johnny said as he took the jacket.
"Something looking official but not too fancy I think." Baby said.
"I want you to be just yourself Johnny." Baby said.

She sat on the bed, putting her shoes on. Johnny grabbed a white shirt and puts it on. He also took his bow tie, he looks in the mirror as he arranged it and turned to Baby. She smiled at him.
"You look very handsome." She said as she stood up.
"It's good enough?" He asked.
"Yeah." Baby said.

He gave her a kiss as he straightens his collar a bit. She walks to the door, Johnny took his white jacket and puts it on. Baby took her vest and waited for him. He walked to her ini the living room.
"You look very handsome. Dad will be pleased to see that you're doing your best." Baby said.
"I hope so." Johnny said.

Baby grabbed his hands.
"You don't have to try so hard for him Johnny, he has already accepted you." Baby said.
"I just want to show him that I am good for you and that I can take care of you and the baby." Johnny said.
"You are already doing that. Can't you see?" Baby asked and he took a deep breath.
"Johnny, my parents see how much you love me. And how much you respect their wishes." Baby said, Johnny looked confused at her.

She smiled and gave him a kiss.
"I don't understand Baby." Johnny said.
"You brought me home on time. Not a minute too late. Dad was very pleased about it. And now you are trying to dress good for him as well." Baby said.
"I'll do anything for you Baby." He whispered.
"You are already doing that. I love you so much Johnny, but I want you to stay who you are. Don't change because of my father." Baby said.

Johnny kissed her and she grabbed his head.
"Let's go." She whispered and he gave her a nod.

After 10 minutes of walking, they arrived. Baby knocked on the door and they waited, Johnny took her hand and she smiled at him. Seeing that he is nervous.
"Relax a bit, it will be fine." Baby said with a smile. He gave her a little smile.

The door opens and it was a servant.
"Come in, you are expected in the dining room." She said.
"Thank you Manuela." Baby said with a smile.
"Thanks." Johnny said as he followed Baby.

Manuela looked at him with a smile. While Baby gave her vest to her.
"It needs to be washed, but don't rush it. This is Jonny, my boyfriend." Baby said with a smile.
"Oh, hello Johnny. Nice to meet you. Baby talks all the time about you." Manuela said with a smile.
"Stop the flattery." Baby said with a smile.
"You are lucky, Baby is so sweet." Manuela said. Baby hugged her.
"Go now, your parents and sister are waiting." Manuela said.
"What are we eating?" Baby asked.
"Duck with aspergers. And chocolate mouse as dessert." Manuela said.
"I told my parents not too fancy." Baby said.
"It's okay Baby. I've never had duck before." Johnny said, they look at him.
"You will like it. Now go." Manuela said and smiled.

Baby took Johnny's hand and they walked to the dining room. Johnny looked around and is truly overwhelmed.
"My god." He whispered, Baby watched him and giggled a bit.
"Don't look too much at it." Baby whispered and gave him a kiss.

He smiled at her and gave her a kiss back. Manuela is watching them and smiled. She loves the family, they treat her well. But Baby treats her like a friend and not a servant. Baby talked to her for hours when they came back home from holiday. She sounded so passionate about Johnny and now Manuela sees how happy he makes her, she couldn't have wished better for her. She could see how the house is overwhelming him, it did to her as well first time she came here. She quickly walked to the laundry room.

"There you are. Come, sit down." Jake said as he stood up. Johnny shook hands with Jake.
"This is your seat." Marge said as she stood up as well, Johnny gave her a little hug.
"Thanks." Johnny said and he sat down.

Baby walked to the other side and sat down next to Lisa. Who only gave Johnny a glance while she sat with her hands on her lap. Jake sat down as well and smiled as he looked at Johnny, Marge smiled too.

"Manuela?" Marge asked
"What do you want to drink Johnny?" Jake asked.
"Just a beer is good enough or some juice if you don't have beer." Johnny said.
"No brandy?" Jake asked.
"I'm not really a brandy drinker." Johnny said with a smile.

Manuela walked into the dining room.
"There you are." Marge said.
"Yes ma'am?" Manuela asked.
"Get Johnny a beer and dinner can be served." Marge said.

Manuela walked quickly away, Johnny looked after her and then he looks at Baby. Baby didn't really smile and Johnny swallowed once. This was making him really nervous, the way Marge talked to Manuela. It wasn't fully unfriendly, but it wasn't friendly either. It bothered Johnny a lot and Baby could see that. Manuela came back with a beer for Johnny.

"Thanks." Johnny said with a smile. She smiled at him and walked away again.
"So, you 2 had a great day today?" Jake asked, to break the silence a bit.
"Yes dad. We went to a little bar for lunch, it was very lovely." Baby said with a smile.
"You're liking the dance school Johnny?" Jake asked with a smile.
"Yeah, they are very lovely. Very warm and welcoming." Johnny said with a little smile as he looked at Jake now.
"I'm glad to hear that, I'm sure you will enjoy your job there." Jake said.

Manuela came with the food and Johnny looked at her. He looked at how she puts the food on the table. Everyone was silent now and waited until Manuela was ready. When she walked away again, Johnny looked at the food.
"I hope you enjoy it. It's one of Manuela's specialty." Jake said.

Lisa was already eating and watching her father, Baby looked at Johnny and played with the food for a bit. Johnny looks at the food, it wasn't that much. He took the fork and knife and looked at Jake. He gave Johnny a nod and they started to eat.

"Lisa, sit straight." Marge said and Lisa did so and smiled at her mother.
"What are you planning on doing tomorrow?" Marge asked with interest.
"I don't know yet, I let Baby decide." Johnny said with a little smile at Marge.
"We will see mom." Baby said with a smile at her mother.
"Thanks for inviting me here." Johnny said and looked at Jake.
"And for the job and the apartment." He added and looked at the food.

Johnny liked the duck but it wasn't really his sort of food. But he ate the food pure out of politeness. Baby could see it and wanted to comfort him but she sat at the other side of the table. Jake had her sit there on purpose. Marge called for dessert and they ate, while Jake asked Johnny out.

"How are you parents?" Jake asked.
"I only have my father, he is doing fine." Johnny said and sipped his beer.
"And your mother?" Jake aske curiously.
"She ran away with another man when I was 7, never heard from her since." Johnny said and didn't look at Jake. He ate a bit from the mouse.
"I'm sorry to hear that, it must have been awful for you." Marge said.
"More awful for my father, he really loved her." Johnny said with a sigh.

Johnny knows that his life wasn't great, and not perfect at all but so was no one. This house, no matter how nice Baby's parents are to him, their lifestyle. This is everything that oppose of what Johnny wants in life. It was really hard for him to be here and he ached to hold Baby's hand for comfort. He also still needed a talk with Jake, he really wanted his permission to ask for Baby's hand.

"Mom, Lisa." Baby said, they looked at her and Baby looked at her father. He gave her a nod.
"What is it Baby?" Marge asked. Baby looked back at her mother with a smile.
"I'm pregnant." Baby said, Marge dropped her spoon.
"Congratulations Baby. Can I go now dad?" Lisa asked.
"Of course Lissy." Jake said, Lisa stood up and walked away.
"You knew this Jake?" Marge asked.
"Yes, I did the tests. Baby wants to keep it." Jake said.
"And you are letting her? How can you accept this Jake?" Marge said, in quite an angry tone.
