IN THE PAST: PINKIE'S POV: We left the Buffalo tribe and made our way to the Everfree forest "So doc why did you leave the Chancellor with you're tardis?" I asked as we entered the Everfree Forest "Because she is one of my companions of course" said the Doctor suddenly we found ourselves face to face with yet another blue telephone box and a certain pink mare " Hi Doctor! Hi Clover! Hi Pinkie! " said the figure "Hi there Granny Pie! How is your vacation going?" I asked "Great! I've seen so many places with the Doctor! Have you remembered what I told you about giggling at the ghosties?" asked Granny Pie "Hold on! Chancellor Puddinghead is your grandma?" asked Clover "but that doesn't even make sense! I mean how is that even possible?" Asked Twilight "Yes do explain" said Rarity "simple my granny has been traveling with the Doctor" I said "we crashed here in the Everfree forest about 20 years ago and have been stuck here ever since. I needed a job and thanks to the doctor I somehow got elected chancellor of the earth ponies and ended up helping found Equestria." said Granny Pie "first off we didn't crash we emergency landed second why is the warning lights of the Tardis going off?" said the Doctor " Oh those have been going off ever since I first saw those scary zombie ponies that were leaking shadows started showing up but for some reason they won't go near the Tardis" said Granny Pie "Zombie ponies? really? are you sure you weren't just seeing things?" asked Twilight while the others just shivered at the thought "did you say they were leaking shadows?" asked the doctor "Yes why is that bad?" asked Granny Pie "Yes. very VERY bad. but why would they be inhabiting corpses? That's not like them at all. no something isn't right" said the Doctor "Doctor would you mind explaining to us non time travelers what it is you're mumbling about?" said Rainbow "Those weren't shadows they were leaking they were a swarm of Vashta Nerada, alien creatures that live and hunt in darkness from my universe. Nasty little buggers. They must of followed me through the abstract plain but that doesn't explain why they are creating zombie ponies. they usually strip their prey to the bone. this is unlike them" explained the Doctor "So how do we beat them?" asked Rainbow "We can't. they've found the perfect hunting ground unless...Diane you said that they wouldn't get near the Tardis right?" said the Doctor "Actually they won't get near any type of light it's like their afraid of it or something but that can't be true cause that would be silly of course a lot of the things we've done were silly so who knows?" said Granny Pie "Intersting...wait of course! stupid doctor! why didn't I realize this before?! they've been hunting in darkness for so long that they have lost all resistance to light based radiation!" said the Doctor "In equestrian please" asked Twilight "They're weakened by the sun's light" explained the doctor "Umm Doctor we've got company" I said as I pointed out that we were surrounded by zombie ponies
"Which one of you is the Doctor?" asked the zombie "You can speak? well that's just brilliant! Well that just makes this-" said the Doctor "Doctor!" We yelled "Right well then seeing how you are now a sentient being I can say this under Convention 15 of the Shadow Proclamation I hereby order you to cease all further hunting in this land and to leave Equesrtia immediately!" said the Doctor "and what is the Shadow Proclamation going to do from another universe away?" asked the head zombie "Oh right...Well then how about this I order you to leave Equestria and you know why? Cause this planet along with all the other planets in either universe are under my protection cause I'm the Doctor and the Doctor is in!" yelled the Doctor the zombies began screeching "Ugh what are they doing Doctor?" asked Fluttershy "laughing they are laughing at me" he said plainly "You think your threats scare us Doctor? we have found the perfect hunting ground and we have no intention of leaving in fact we're hungry and your the next meal!" said the head zombie "into the tardis!" yelled the doctor and we all ran inside just as the doctor closed the door on a zombie "What do we do now? we're trapped inside here by zombie ponies with no way to escape and we still need to get to that final forger" said Twilight "We can worry about the forger later miss Sparkle right now we need to figure out a way to escape these vashta nerada." said the Doctor " but what if they get in the Tardis? that door doesn't look very sturdy to me" said Fluttershy "Oh don't worry about that door not even the entire griffin army could break through those doors and trust me they've tried now we need a plan" said the Doctor "I've got it! Twilight! Rarity! armor up I have an idea" I yelled "are you sure pinkie?" asked Rarity "Yes now armor up" I said "alright then. Elemental Access!" the two yelled before transforming " good now follow my lead" I said before opening the doors of the tardis and pointing my hoof at the lead zombie "You mean old zombies think you can make us scared of the dark, well then let's see what you think when we make you afraid of the light!" I yelled they screeched laughing at us as they began their approach "Rarity use your crystal powers to erect a giant crystal pillar right in front of us now!" I ordered "I don't see how it will help but ok" said rarity as she erected the pillar "Just a little bit closer...OK Twilight shoot the pillar with your strongest light beam NOW!" I ordered " But Pinkie what would-" said Twilight before I interrupted her "JUST DO IT!" she then shot the pillar causing the light beam to be refracted in the prism of a pillar lighting up the entire forest causing the zombies to disintegrate and leak all their shadow like parasites at once "That...That was simply brilliant! the light from miss Sparkle's beam refracted by miss Rarity's crystal pillar lighting the entire forest paralyzing the vashta nerada. simply brilliant! Why didn't I think of that?" said the Doctor " cause you don't know how to think inside the chimney!" I said we all laughed except for the Doctor who simply said "what? I don't get it."
MEANWHILE IN THE PRESENT: Shining Armor bolted into the castle throne room with a worried expression on his face "Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!" he shouted "Yes Shining Armor? what is it?" asked Princess Celestia "It's Discord. he's got an army of his black creatures that are about to attack Canterlot. I don't think even the entire royal guard can hold up to all those creatures. we need the humans help." said Shining Armor "what do you need our help for?" asked Star who along with the rest of the gang had just walked into the throne room "It seems that Discord is getting bolder my friends. he has an entire army of those black creatures ready and waiting to attack canterlot." said Luna suddenly a guard ran into the room yelling "Captain Shining Armor the creatures have officially entered the city it's like the Changeling invasion all over again out there." "great! well guys lets get moving! Star! You take the center of the city. Dragon! Terra! Take to the sky and keep air superiority. Thunder! you take the western side of the city. Justice! you take the eastern side. Arrow! You and me give the rest of the gang cover fire. Any questions?" said Desert "What about me and the royal guards?" asked Shining Armor "You help evacuate the civilians to the castle and protect the castle at all costs leave Discord's army to us" responded Desert "got it" said Shining Armor and with that he left "alright guys lets go kick some soulless flank!" I said we then geared up and readied for battle
STAR'S POV: after exiting the castle I immediately sliced and blasted my way to the center of Canterlot taking out at least a hundred soulless along the way I then noticed two familiar ponies cornered by a group of five soulless "Hey uglies! why don't ya pick on somepony your own size!" I yelled they then turned around and lunged at me I sliced the first two in half and dodged a blow from the third before shoving my palm into it's chest and blasting through it with a beam of magic I then dodged two blows from the remaining two before cutting them into pieces while the two ponies watched in awe. I then approached the two who seemed to be frightened "don't you dare hurt my wife" said the dark blue stallion "Why would I? I'm here to protect you. You're Twilight's parents right?" I asked "You know our Twilight?" asked the mare "well considering I live with her yeah. I'm Starsaber by the way and you are?" I said "My name is Nightlight and my wife here's name is Twilight Velvet...wait Starsaber? as in the same Starsaber from the Grand Galloping Gala?" asked Nightlight "yep the one and only" I said suddenly an explosion went off behind us reminding me of where I was "Look I'd love to stay and chat but for your own safety you and your wife need to get to the castle with the rest of the civilians perhaps we can continue this conversation later when canterlot isn't under seige" I said "agreed it was nice finally meeting you Starsaber and thank you for saving us" said Nightlight "No problem and besides do you have any idea what Twilight and Shining Armor would do to me if I let their parents die? Now get to the castle while I hold off these guys" I said before jumping back into combat JUSTICE'S POV: after breaking away from the group at the castle and slashing my way to the eastern side of the city helping as many civilians along the way I found myself in the middle of a street surrounded on all sides by at least a thousand soulless "a thousand to one eh those don't seem like good odds at least not for you" I said smirking before yelling "ORION'S SWORD" And then becoming transparent and then slashing my way though every single foe effortlessly before finally changing back to my original state "try bringing ten thousand and then tell me the odds are in your favor" I said before taking on more soulless THUNDER'S POV: I immeadiatly drew my claymore and electrified it after leaving the castle and cut down any soulless in my path as I made my way to the western part of canterlot and when I got there I found myself surrounded by soulless I managed to hack through at least twenty of them before I got an idea I electrified my own right gautlet before yelling "It's time for you soulless to ride the lightning and feel the wrath of Digimon's own legendary warrior of thunder so get ready to taste my THUNDER FIST!" I then slammed my fist down on the ground sending an electric shockwave destroying all the surrounding soulless DRAGON'S POV: While the others took the ground forces me and Terra took the skys and right when thought we had finally finished off the airborne foes we spotted at least a hundred thousand more enemies coming our way "INCOMING!" I yelled "Retreat back to the castle!" said Terra "You go I'll stay and hold them off!" I yelled back DESERT'S POV: I was in the middle of sniping when Terra came out of nowhere and yelled "Desert we got a problem!" "what could be so important that you had to ditch the plan and leave your post?" I asked then all off a sudden a huge explosion hit the castle "how bout that" he answered pointing I looked through my scope and saw the massive amount of enemy reinforcements "Shit. find the others and tell them to fall-" I was cut off by the sound of a familiar blue box appearing in front of me and six voices simultaneously saying "Elemental Access!" "what in the name of celestia?" I asked suddenly emerging from the box were the mane six only covered in new armor along with the doctor "Let me guess canterlot is under seige and the enemy just brought in a hundred thousand reinforcements" guessed the doctor "umm yeah but besides that girls what is up with that new armor?" I asked "Well old girl looks like you actually got it right this time" said the doctor after he said that the Tardis door slammed on his face " OK.. but seriously what's up with the armor?" asked Terra " Oh you'll see" said Rainbow "OK girls you know the plan now let's show them what harmony can do" said Twilight before they all left with the exception of AJ who just said "Desert follow me" "but-" I said "Just follow me" she insisted "OK Arrow stay here and cover us until further notice" I ordered
STAR'S POV: I was backed into a corner with at least three hundred soulless about to pounce on me when suddenly a golden beam of light mowed the soulless down in one sweep "Celestia?" I asked looking toward the source of the beam "Nope just me" said my savior who revealed herself to be Twilight "Twilight?! What was that? I mean I know your special talent is magic but that was ridicul- Woah what is up with that armor?" I asked "let's just say each of the elements of harmony have been upgraded and my upgrade gave me the magical abilities of an alicorn along with a heightened ability in solar based magic but that isn't important right now we've got incoming soulless in the thousands" JUSTICE'S POV: I was cutting them down one by one but no matter how many I killed ten more would take it's place and I was running out of energy for my attacks when suddenly six huge crystal pillars grew from the ground around me and after one was struck by a laser which refracted off the next and the the next and so on before striking each pillar and then finally striking each and every one of the soulless disintegrating them "I usually don't stoop to violence but when you hurt my friends you leave me no choice" said an unmistakable voice "Rarity? how in Equestria did you- where'd you get that armor?" I asked "Oh this? let's just say I got it from an old friend who upgraded my element so I can now control crystals and fire lasers from my horn. quite fashionable if I do say so myself with all the colors and all but we can talk fashion later we have a city to save" said Rarity DRAGON'S POV: I was surrounded on all sides outnumbered at least three thousand to one with no way out "Well I guess this is the day I die" I muttered when suddenly I see half the enemies get torn apart by a blur when suddenly the blur stopped revealing none other than Rainbow Dash who the by simply flicking her wings towards the wave of soulless shooting a mini sonic rainboom at them and then by flicking her wings individually she created rainbow colored blades that sliced through the enemies like a knife through butter "too easy" she said "what was that?" was all I could say "The new and improved Rainbow Dash courtesy of Commander Hurricane. Gotta love that Sonic Rainblast and Rainbow Slash and looks like I'm still faster than you" said Rainbow "how bout you use that speed and get going cause we've got incoming" I said TERRA'S POV After seeing the girls I immediately transformed into a dragon and took off only to be ambushed by at least a hundred soulless. I tried my best to fight them off shooting flames at them and everything when suddenly an invisible ally started slashing them down one by one before landing gently on my snout and revealing itself to be Fluttershy in full armor featuring a set of golden talons on each of her front hooves "Fluttershy? When did you ever fight?" I asked "Oh! I usually don't like fighting at all but when canterlot is in danger and my friends need my help I can't just run and hide even though that's what I'd like to do but no I've got to help any way I can if that's okay with you of course" said Fluttershy blushing "Fluttershy that's very brave of you but just remember if things get too bad out here I want you to get out of here cause I don't want you getting hurt okay?" I asked "Sorry Terra but I can't leave this one. I'm an element of harmony and therefore I am obligated to protect Equestria please understand" said Fluttershy "Alright just please stay safe" I said "I'll try" answered Fluttershy THUNDER'S POV: I slashed, smashed and blasted my way through at least a thousand soulless before I began to wonder if there was ever an end to these things when suddenly I heard someone yell "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" and cannon fire shot off before ten different fireworks exploded in front of me taking out at least twenty soulless "What in the?" but before I could finish my sentence I saw pinkie pie literally pull a red and yellow hammer out of a thought bubble and smack ten different soulless causing them to disintegrate "You know what I don't wanna know" I simply said after seeing Pinkie clearly breaking the fourth wall by using Amy Rose's hammer DESERT'S POV: "well ya gonna explain what's up with the armor?" I asked "Y'all just cover me with yer gunslingin' skills and I'll show ya" said AJ before galloping into a swarm of soulless "AJ!" I yelled only to be stunned as she took them all on like it was child's play. I then began pumping out round after round covering her before running into the fight myself with anamantium covered fists when AJ surprised the hell out of me by bucking an apple into a group of enemies which then exploded taking the group out "what else you got up yer sleeve?" I asked "this" she responded before kicking a golden delicious apple at another group of enemies which exploded like a flashbang stunning them before I took them out one by one with my pistol
STAR'S POV: we pushed them back until each of the others met up with us in the center of the city when suddenly all the soulless left began to fuse together transforming into a black humanoid monster twice the size of a fully grown dragon "Well Terra got anything in your arsenal of creatures that can match that thing?" I asked as it began rampaging through the city "Nope" he responded "Don't you worry your silly little heads Auntie Pinkie has this one in the bag just get his attention while I set up my thing" said Pinkie "You don't mean the..." asked Twilight "Oh yeah" said Pinkie "well guys let's do this" I said we then opened fire on the beast me and Twilight with our magic Justice, Desert, and Rarity with their shield, chest, and horn lasers Dragon with his flames Thunder with his lightning and Arrow with her Spirit energy "I thought you said that wasn't an Iron man suit." said Terra "Shut the Hell up!" yelled Desert "Alrighty everypony duck and cover this is gonna be a doozy" said Pinkie before firing off what can only be described as a Party Nuke sending streamers, balloons, glitter, confetti, you name it flying everywhere along with exploding into a pink mushroom cloud obliterating the soulless or so we thought as seconds after the Party Nuke went off the creature got back up missing half it's chest and left arm ""what now?" I asked "My turn." said Arrow "and what are you gonna do? asked Terra "Show this punk what a spiritwalker can do" She said before raising her hand to the sky and chanting "Great warrior Odin arise and help us defeat those who wish to harm the innocent. awaken and join me in battle. Odin I summon thee!" suddenly a portal appeared and out of it came Odin "Why have you summoned me spiritwalker?" Asked Odin "The city is under attack by a monster so large my friends and I could not defeat it alone so if you would please help us in our fight to protect this great city destroy this beast and you may return to your slumber" answered Arrow "Very well" said Odin before turning to face the giant soulless before drawing his twin blades (Author's note: This Odin wields the same blades as the one in FF13 [I think that's the right FF I haven't played them all all I know is it's the one with Snow in it]) and saying "Let's get this over with" he then lunged at the beast X-slashing it in the chest knocking it off balance "Your not even worth my time ZANTETSUKEN!" roared Odin before slicing the beast in half by connecting his twin blades and slashing the soulless monster in two before disappearing through a portal leaving us in awe "Arrow remind me never to get on your bad side" said Desert "OK oh and Terra now that you have the chance isn't there something you wanted to ask?" said Arrow "Huh? What are you...oh that yeah umm *sigh* well I guess now is a better time then ever" said Terra "Dude what are you talking about?" asked Thunder Terra completely ignoring the question asked by Thunder took a deep breath before getting down on one knee and saying "Fluttershy I know we've technically only known each other a few weeks but in that time I have grown so close to you and in the process discovered love in a place I never thought possible so now I ask you would you be willing to take our love to the next level and be my bride?" asked Terra before pulling a box which he opened to reveal a beautiful golden diamond encrusted bracelet leaving everyone speechless. Fluttershy responded by hiding behind her long pink mane and saying "Are you sure you want to marry me? I mean I'm sure there is somepony else who you'd love, right?" Terra then brushed aside Fluttershy's signature flowing pink bangs, looked her in the eyes and said "Fluttershy there is nopony in all of Equestria that can compare to an angel like you and there is NOPONY other than you that I would love so will you please make me the happiest man in Equestria and marry me?" she responded by blushing and saying "well okay" and with that Terra slid the bracelet onto her right hoof "Dude when did you decide to become Mr. Romeo?" Asked Dragon "If you're asking when did I decide I wanted to marry Fluttershy then the answer is right about when we started training in the castle" responded Terra "Umm Terra are you even sure it's legal for a pony and a human to get married?" asked Desert "Why of course it's legal! Why would the princesses punish these two for something that is obviously meant to be and besides you are the first humans to ever even exist in Equestria so why would there be any laws including your kind?" asked Rarity "Rarity although you make a good point I still have to ask, Fluttershy are you sure about this I mean he's not even a pony" said Twilight. Fluttershy then turned to Twilight, looked her in the eye and said "And you think that matters to me? He loves me and I love him and if I want to marry him then that's my choice not your's. I thought you as my close friend would be supportive and happy for me not this" Twilight along with all the others were shocked. they had never seen Fluttershy so assertive about anything sure they had seen her stand up for herself like against the dragon that one time or against Iron Will but never this "I think Fluttershy is right" said a voice we all turned to see Princess Cadence and Shining Armor "Twily I thought after hearing all you've learned from living in Ponyville that you would be the first to accept your friend's new relationship. I'm disappointed in you." said Shining Armor "Now hold on a second. Don't everyone start hating on Twilight she was just looking out for her friend and Twilight I swear...no I Pinkie Promise that I will never hurt Fluttershy besides" Terra then looked at the other guys before finishing "what kind of brony would I be if I hurt a member of the mane six especially my favorite one I mean I gotta love and tolerate or else I'd just be a-" Terra said before Pinkie interrupted "A Parasprite" "You REALLY like to break the fourth wall don't you?" asked Terra "It's part of my job" she answered back
Suddenly the clouds turned pink and in a flash HE appeared "DISCORD!" roared Luna who had just arrived alongside Celestia and the Doctor "I see you have defeated my army" said the draconequus "Yeah and will kick your ass too!" yelled Thunder "oh will you? I highly doubt that." Discord stated "Girls! Formation!" ordered Twilight "No girls! we need to finish off Discord once and for all. Discord, we'll fight you anytime, anywhere you just name it and we'll be there" I said "Alright how about tommorrow at noon in let's see" he then summoned up a map of Equestria and covered his eyes and pointed randomly he then opened them to see where he had chosen "Oooo we will fight in Apploolsa" said Discord "Great a high noon showdown in an old western town just my kind of fight" said Desert "Well see you then oh and congratulations Fluttershy on the engagement too bad you'll probably never get to live to see your wedding day" said Discord and with that he disappeared leaving us to a half destroyed Canterlot "Well guys I guess it's off to Apploosa" I said
