After coming back from Clockwork's it was still pretty early, Allen was still asleep but Vlad was already in the kitchen fixing himself a cup of coffee. Danny had transformed back into his human half and with Dash the two went to the kitchen as well, it was too late now to try and get back to sleep. Once in the kitchen Danny grabbed himself a glass of orange juice and Dash a cup of coffee. Vlad watched them sit down in front of him before he asked.
"So what did Clockwork have to say?" Danny blushed brightly and set his cup down on the table. Dash reached his hand over and grabbed Danny's smiling in silent support.
"Well, um. It turns out" Danny adverted his eyed from Vlad and bit his bottom lip in nervousness. "It seems Allen is going at have a baby brother or sister sometime in October." Danny whispered. Vlad almost dropped his coffee mug in surprise. Turing to Dash Vlad's eye twitched, Danny was still just a teenager and here he was going to have another baby. Wiping his hand down his face Vlad sighed.
"I see." Vlad looked back at Danny and his face softened. "Well then, we might want to get Allen's old crib out and prepare another nursery near your room" Vlad stood up and walked to Danny, placing a hand on his shoulder and smiled. Danny looked back up at him and smiled in return. "Oh! We'll need to get new clothes and toys, bottles and diapers." He tapped his finger against his chin in thought. "We'll have to go out shopping to get everything, stock up on some things too. You'll have to figure out if the baby will have ghost powers or not so we know if we need to get milk from Pandora or not." Vlad rambled on as he walked out to go to his office. With another baby coming he's have a lot of planning to do. Dash looked at Danny slightly fearful. Danny only shook his head and laughed.
"He did the same thing after the shock wore off when I was carrying Allen." Danny looked Dash and frowned. "Your parents" he whispered his eyes downcast. "I'm sorry, your parents won't know about this will they?" Dash smiled and shook his head.
"We'll just come up with something to tell them." He kissed Danny's hand. "It's okay, I'm sure they'll be just as happy thinking the baby is adopted. I don't mind Danny, you already told Kwan for me. And I honestly think they might be safer if they didn't know everything" he whispered soothingly. Danny looked back up at Dash and grinned at him a bit.
"Okay then. If you're alright with it." Danny laughed when Dash kissed his forehead and then his eye lids, and nose and then finally his lips. Danny wrapped his arms around Dash and returned the kiss. After a bit the two had pulled away and leaned their foreheads on one another's'. "Dash how do you feel about all this?" Danny adverted his eyes for a moment. "I know it's a lot, I mean boys normally can't have their own kids. And I'd under-" Danny looked back at Dash as he cut him off by shushing him. "Dash?"
"Danny I don't care that you're different from everyone else. I love you Danny, and I love Allen too. I waited over two years to have you in my arms and you think us having a baby would make me let you go?" Danny blinked at him as Dash smiled. "If anything it makes me want to hold you closer. Danny you have given me a family, with you, Allen, and now this new baby" Dash moved one hand and gently placed in on Danny's stomach. "Sure normal guys can't have kids like you, but you're not normal Danny. And I love every part of you even the ghost part" Dash moved the hand that was on Danny's stomach to caress the boy's cheek. "I have everything I could ever want right here and I'm not going anywhere, ever." Danny was smiling at Dash when he finished talking to him.
"Thank you Dash. It's just it's a lot to take in and I'm so worried about how Allen will take the news to this" Danny whispered. Dash chuckled a bit.
"Oh Danny I'm sure Allen will be thrilled. He'll have someone else besides us to play with. I think he will love this baby as much as you and I." Dash reassured Danny as he kissed his forehead and then got out of the chair. "I'll make breakfast anything in particular you want?" Dash asked as he made his way over to the fridge.
"Hm, maybe some eggs, but could you use the ones from Pandora's farm for me and Allen?" Danny asked as he too got up, ready to go upstairs and wake his son.
"Sure, I'll make my stuff separate from yours then" Dash replied as he got everything out of the fridge. Smiling Danny walked out of the kitchen and headed upstairs to go get Allen. As Danny made his way up to Allen's room he couldn't help but think of how he was going to tell Allen the news. Danny hoped Allen would be happy, he didn't want Allen to feel left out when the baby is born either. Danny walked up to Allen's room and slowly opened the door. When he entered he saw Allen sleeping soundly with his stuffed Cujo toy. Smiling sweetly Danny quietly made his way to Allen's bed and sat down gently on it.
"Allen" Danny began running his hand through his son's hair to gently wake him up. "Allen, baby it's time to get up." Allen made a soft sighing noise before he slowly opened his eyes and gazed tiredly at Danny. "Hey there baby, did you sleep well?" Danny asked his voice quiet. Allen sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes while he yawned.
"Good" he yawned again as he blinked sleepily at Danny. Smiling Danny picked Allen up and put him in his lap holding him, as the child slowly woke. "'Morning Daddy" Allen said when he was finally awake completely.
"Good morning baby." Danny kissed Allen's forehead before he stood up with Allen resting on his hip and carried him down. The two were quiet as they made their way to the kitchen and when they got there Dash had the table set and the food ready. Dash was putting the last of the pans away when they walked in.
"Dad!" Allen caught Dash's attention, the jock turned and smiled at the two of them before walking over at taking Allen and putting him in his chair. Danny smiled as he sat down in his own with Dash following. Allen looked down at his breakfast and grinned. "Thanks Dad!" he said before he began to eat. Danny giggled and continued to eat. He had to admit it, Dash had gotten a lot better at cooking ectoplamic food than when they just moved back to Wisconsin. It didn't take long for the three of them to finish eating and put the dirty dishes away. Allen ran to Danny and grabbed his hand leading him into the living room, Dash laughed as he followed. Once in the living room Allen was going through the many Disney and Pixar movies they owed as Danny was kneeling behind him. When Allen found one he wanted, which happened to be; How to Train Your Dragon, Danny put the movie in and sat down on the couch with Allen jumping in his lap. Laughing Danny tickled Allen until Dash came and sat next to them pulling them both into him. Once the movie started Allen went still and watched it with enthusiasm. He had fun mimicking Toothless' and Hiccup's first flight with his hands and arms and started calling Stoik a bully when he tied down the black Night Fury. Danny was enjoying watching Allen play around as he watched the movie as he leaned into his lover. The movie was soon over and Allen was now over near his toy box looking through it to decide what to play with. Dash took out the movie and put it away as Danny turned off the TV.
"Allen? Baby come here for a minute" Danny said. Allen pulled his head out of his toys and looked at his daddy before slowly walking over to him and jumping on his lap. Dash had also made his was over to the duo, making sure to sit next to Danny and putting his arm around the smaller teen.
"Yeah daddy?" Danny looked over at Dash for encouragement, the blonde was smiling at him and had his arm protectively around his shoulders. Danny looked back down at his son and smiled.
"Would you ever want a baby brother or sister?" Danny asked. Allen's eyes got really wide as he smiled up at Danny.
"I'd love a baby brother or sister! Can I have one pwease Daddy? Pwease! It would be so cool! I'd play with 'em all the time and protect them from meanies!" Allen was now bouncing in Danny's lap as he happily babbled about the joys of having a younger sibling. "We'd always be together and, and we could share our toys and I could teach 'em to fly an' stuff!" Danny smiled down at Allen, all his worry gone as he watched his son get excited. Dash chuckled at the reaction he knew Allen would do something like that after all, almost every little boy's dream is to have a baby brother or sister to play with, and he knew he was the same at that age. "Oh! Oh! We could sleep together too! An' share a room."
"Okay Allen I get it baby. But you do know you can't do all those thing right away. Babies can't do all those things right away." Danny explained, Allen was still bouncing in his lap a grinning up at him.
"Yeah but they get older right? An' when they're all small I can help you a Dad take care of 'em! I'd protect 'em too!" Allen said. Danny smiled and patted Allen's head affectionately. "Daddy, can I pwease have a baby brother or sister?" Allen asked again. Danny took his hand off of Allen's head and grabbed one of his smaller hands and placed it over his stomach.
"Allen, there's a baby growing inside me now just like you did. He or she will be here in October. Do you think that'd be okay baby?" Allen looked down at his hand on his Daddy's stomach and smiled.
"They're in here?" Allen asked as he looked back up at Danny. The Halfa smiled and nodded in reply. This got a big grin out of Allen as he leaned down close to his hand and kissed Danny's stomach. "Hi baby! I'm Allen an' I'm your big brother. I can't see you yet cuz you're still growing in Daddy but I'll see you soon! And when you get here I'll be the best big brother ever!" Allen talked to Danny's stomach. Danny blushed as he watched his son. Dash smirked as he decided to join Allen in talking to the baby.
"Hi there little one. I don't know if you'll be a boy or a girl but I'm your Dad, and your Daddy is carrying you inside of him right now so you can grow to get bigger before you come into this world." Allen was smiling at Dash, the blonde looked over at Allen and smiled as he ruffled his hair. "We're all waiting for you out here and we all love you so much." Dash kissed Danny's stomach too, this made Danny's face get even redder. Allen noticed and leaned up again to hug Danny, Dash kissing the smaller teen's stomach one more time joined him. Danny smiled as he hugged them back. For right now nothing could be more perfect for the small family.
