Chapter 25

Everyone had celebrated Luna's wedding in grand style at Potter Manor, complete with wedding cake decorated various wizarding flora made from sugar icing. The weekend after was Easter and Hermione and Draco had celebrated it at their apartment with Narcissa and Helen and Richard. Hermione had introduced the Malfoys to the tradition of chocolate eggs at Easter. A couple of weeks later Teddy celebrated his seventh birthday. Harry invited his friends from school as well as his uncles and aunts to party complete with a jumping castle, which to the amusement of the adults Blaise found quiet enjoyable. Fred Weasley II was born a few days ago, the first Weasley male of this generation. He had dark brown hair with his Father's blue eyes.

Hermione was finishing off a letter to her French counterpart before Draco was coming and they were going together to pick Scarlett up from school.

Her door burst open and Sam made a beeline for her desk. Hermione looked up and saw her assistant standing on the other side of her desk,

"What's up Sam?" she asked the younger witch with a crooked smile.

"Well I know you're not much on Gossip but, I've got some to share with you" Sam replied as she took a seat opposite Hermione.

"Alright then go ahead" Hermione told her

"Really?" Surprised her boss actually wanted to have girly gossip chat with her. At the sight of Hermione's raised eyebrow she quickly continued on with her story.

"So get this Marcus and Grace finally moved in together on Monday" said Sam wiggling her eyebrows.

"Finally, she gave in I see, put poor Marcus out his misery, and what is your other story?" Hermione prompted her assistant.

"Oh, I have a date tonight" Sam said trying to hide her blush.

"Good for you, anyone I know?" Hermione asked with genuine interest.

"Well, yes you kind of do know him" replied Sam quietly.

"Well, who is he?"

"Um…Stephen Cornfoot" Sam told her Hermione, trying to sit up straighter.

"The Ravenclaw in my year?" asked Hermione.

"That's him" nodded Sam

"Who's him?" came a voice from the door.

"Oh hello Mr Malfoy" Sam greeted the blond wizard as he stepped further into Hermione's office.

"Please call me Draco, Mr Malfoy was my father" Draco told Sam as he sat down on the sofa in Hermione's office

"Stephen Cornfoot, is the Sam's date for tonight" Hermione told her fiancée

"I don't remember him" said Draco

"That doesn't surprise me" said Hermione rolling her eyes

"So what brings you here so early?" Sam asked the wizard

"We are picking up Scarlett from school, as both Ron and Pansy are busy at work" replied Draco

"How is the little darling? I haven't seen her in a while"

"She's well, growing up too fast for Pansy's liking" answered Hermione

"It's always the way" Sam told them as she exited the office shutting the door behind her.

"Oh I bought you something" Draco said handing Hermione a paper bag.

"Why thank you love" Hermione replied with a quick peck on the lips. She opened the bag to find a pumpkin pasty inside.

"How did you know I missed lunch?" Hermione asked him

"Sam sent me an owl"

Hermione smiled at him "She's a good one; I might get her to be my assistant when my promotion comes up"

"She'd like that, I'm sure" smiled Draco.

"Now, are you ready? The Master's school finishes soon." He added.

"Yep, let's go" replied Hermione as she stood up and grabbed her handbag and phone off her desk. Draco wrapped his arm around her waist as they made their way to the car park where Hermione's Jag was parked.

A little later as Hermione drove into the school's car park, Draco noticed a familiar red head taking a baby out of a car.

The both got out of the car and approached the red head.

"Well hello Ginny" Draco greeted her.

Ginny looked up at the couple "Oh hey Malfoy, Mia"

"Did you get a new car?" Hermione asked looking at her friend's shiny silver BMW X5.

"Yes I did, I needed an upgrade" replied Ginny as they made their way towards the school.

"Its perfect specimen" commented Draco

"Specimen?" asked Ginny

"What can I say, it's the healer in me" he chuckled in response.

"You sure picked a top guy here Hermione" Ginny told the brunette sarcastically.

"Thanks Ginerva" said Draco making Ginny scowl

"Now play nicely kiddies" Hermione told them.

They stood waiting for school finish when James woke up crying.

"Oh hey baby, don't cry" Ginny told her son picking him up trying to comfort him.

The doors opened and kids came streaming out.

The adults spotted Teddy and his blue hair heading their way.

"Hello everyone" he smiled at them.

"Hi Ted, how was your day?" Ginny asked him

"Oh guess what?" he replied

"What?"

"We did this worksheet today on plants…" he began as he opened his bag to get out the worksheet in question "…and I got full marks and Miss Dunbar gave me a full sticker" he grinned handing the sheet to Ginny.

"Oh well done Ted" Ginny said ruffling his hair.

"Yeah good job darling" Hermione told him

"You'll make Neville happy when you get to Hogwarts" added Draco.

"That reminds me, we need to get you new dress robes for their wedding."

"Do we have to?" whined the blue haired boy.

"Yes! No whining mister!" Ginny told him sternly.

"Don't you want to look good for Victoire?"Hermione asked

"Why? She's not my girlfriend" replied Teddy

"We'll see about that" Ginny whispered to Hermione, who giggled.

"Who is your girlfriend then mister?" Draco asked the boy.

"No one! Girls are yucky!" he replied in disgust.

"What about me and Aunt Hermione?" Ginny asked raising her eyebrow.

"You aren't girls, you are ladies, that's different" he stated

Ginny and Hermione shared a look as Scarlett joined them.

"Hi Aunt Mio, Uncle Draco"

"Hey Scar, did you have a good day?" Draco asked her.

"Oh yes, I drew you a picture, I give to you later" she replied taking his hand as they started walking back to the car park.

"I look forward to seeing it" Draco smiled down at the little girl.

"Aunt Mio, can you help me read after I show Uncle Draco my picture?" the young girl asked

"Of course darling" Hermione replied smiling.

They said bye to Ginny and Teddy and Draco Strapped Scarlett into the Car Seat. Hermione had shown him how it worked a few weeks ago.

They arrived back at Armando Towers and Scarlett raced to the lift to press the button. Draco laughed at the sight as he held Hermione's hand and the walked to lift.

"I wished Ron had a lift in his house" said Scarlett on their way up in the lift.

"I think Ron is quiet happy with his house Scar" Hermione told the youngster.

They entered the apartment, Hermione stepped into the kitchen and set her handbag down on the counter, Scarlett sat on the sofa and Draco set her bag down near her.

"How about a snack then you show me your picture?" he asked her.

"Yes please"

He walked in the kitchen and came up behind his Fiancée and started kissing her neck.

"Draco, what are you doing? Scarlett is in the next room" she told him

"I know love, I was giving you a taste of tonight" he winked at her as took a plate and some Macadamia cookies for Scarlett.

"Well please try and control yourself until them" she responded trying to hide her blush but failing miserably.

Draco handed Scarlett the plate of cookies which she munched on eagerly as he checked the emails on his phone.

"So I can show you my picture now?" Scarlett asked him

"Yes definitely" he replied as Hermione walked through the living room on her way to the bedroom to change.

Scarlett pulled her drawing from her bag and sat back down next to Draco.

"Okay Uncle Draco, this is Ron" pointing to a drawing of her man with orange hair "this is mummy" the lady next the man with black hair "this is me" pointing to a smaller drawing of girl with dark brown hair "and this is my baby brother" she finished pointing the drawing of baby with orange hair.

Draco was a little surprised that Scarlett was sure her new sibling would be a boy with orange hair.

"That's very good darling, who are these other people?" he asked her pointing to a drawing of a man with yellow hair.

"That's you silly" she giggled at her uncle.

"So it is, and this?" he pointed to the drawing next to him

"That's Aunt Mio" she told him. Sure enough Draco noted that the lady drawing did have curly brown hair.

Just then Hermione entered the room and sat down on the other side of Scarlett.

"Scar was just showing me her drawing" Draco told her, Hermione smiled in response.

"Uncle Draco, this baby next to Aunt Mio is your baby" she told him pointing to a drawing of baby with yellow hair.

Hermione looked at Draco in surprise.

"Is the baby a girl or boy darling?" she asked the little girl.

"It's a girl baby"

"And what's this?" Draco asked her pointing to the rectangles and triangles in the background.

"That is Hogwarts" stated Scarlett.

"Wow Scarlett, that's a great drawing" Hermione said kissing the top of the little girls head.

"You should make a copy and put it on your fridge, I take this home for my fridge" Scarlett told her Aunt.

"That's a great idea" said Draco as he pointed his wand at the drawing and a second copy appeared next to it.

"Okay, I'm going for a shower" he added standing up and walked down the hallway.

"So Scar, ready for some reading?" Hermione asked

The girl nodded as she pulled a book out of her bag and handed it to her Aunt.

"Horton hears a who" said Hermione reading the colourful front cover.

"Horton is an Elephant" smiled Scarlett.

"Yes he is….okay…On the fifteenth of May…" Hermione began reading the story.

Pansy came by and picked up Scarlett at 5pm and too was surprised by her drawing. After Dinner Hermione was lying in bed as Draco came out the bathroom.

"Do you think Scarlett is a Seer?" she asked him.

"I'm not sure love, Pansy doesn't have a family history of being one and I don't think Theo did either."

"Still, I can't believe she drew our baby with blond hair, it might have brown hair"

"Hermione, the Malfoy blond is too dominant" Draco replied

"There's nothing wrong with my brown hair" pouted Hermione

"There isn't….there's also nothing wrong with his" he said as he kissed her jawbone "or this" as he continued kissed her neck and pulled the strap down of her nighti

"You are so right Draco" Hermione told him as she allowed herself to be consumed by his kisses.
