Chapter 25

The possession of Phoebe

"Hay is anyone home?" Prue asks as she walked from the front door. Phoebe stopped shocking Piper and stood up trying to think of how to cover up the fact that she was possessed. "Oh my god, Piper!" Prue yelled as she saw her on the ground slightly convulsing. She looked up and saw the stun gun in Phoebe's hand. "Phoebe what the hell did you do?" she asks as she made sure to keep Piper on her side to keep her from choking.

"She attacked me," Phoebe replied as she was not sure what to say.

"What?" Prue asks.

"She might be a demon, we should vanquish her and then look for the real Piper," Phoebe replied and Prue was too concerned with Piper's condition to notice that it did not sound like her sister at all. Prue was attending to her younger sister as Phoebe walked around to her back. She got the stun gun ready to hit Prue with it.

"Stun gun!" Paige yelled and it orbed out of Phoebe's hands and into Paige's. "Toaster!" she yelled and the little white bread warmer hit Phoebe on the head and knocked her out.

"Paige what the hell?" Prue asks as now two sisters were out of commission.

"She was going to stun you," Paige replied and went to help Prue with Piper." Is she ok?"

"Yeah she is starting to relax now," Prue replied as she sat Piper up. She was shaky and her breaths were quick. "Its ok Piper just take slow breaths."

"Sh-e s- me," Piper stuttered out.

"We know I think she is possessed or it's not Phoebe," Paige said and rubbed her back as Leo orbed in.

"What happened?" he asks and got next to her.

"Phoebe used the stun gun, Leo can you heal Piper while we try to figure out what the hell is going on?" Prue asks.

"Yeah," he said and healed were the stun gun was used. The area was mostly red and small bruising could be seen. His hands glowed and Piper began to get use of her muscles again. He helped her stand as Prue was checking Phoebe's pulse. Paige orbed the book down the them so they could look for a spell.

"Host soul reject the poison essence. Let love's light end this cruel possession," Paige said and a blackish smoke came rising out of Phoebe's body and formed into a female demon.

"Oh shit," she said as Prue finished her off by using Piper's power to blow her up.

"Leo could you heal Phoebe?" Paige asks and he did what she asks.

"Piper are you ok?" Prue asks.

"Yeah, just another fun day in the maner," Piper replied with a small smile.

"Ouch," Phoebe said while standing up," Oh god Piper I am so sorry," she said as she could remember what happened.

"Your were possessed so technically it's not your fault," Paige said but Piper looked at the stun gun.

"Why do you have that?" Piper asks.

Phoebe stood uncomfortably trying to avoid eye contact," Um you know just in case a demon attacks," she said but Piper was not about to buy it. She just shook her head side to side and left the room. "Piper wait."

"Phoebe don't lie to me, you bought that because you thought I would attack you," Piper said as she turned to face her. She hated the fact that her family was afraid of her.

"Piper it was a mistake and I am taking it back," Phoebe said but the damage was already done.

"Do you think I'm not scared of that, that I may hurt someone especially the people I love," Piper said while running her hands through her hair.

"Hay I know you would never hurt any of us Piper," Prue said while walking up to her.

"You don't understand I am oblivious to what is real and what is not when I'm in an episode. What if I see you as a demon or something else. What if a real demon shows up and I don't believe it and I let it hurt one of you. Prue I am scared all the time. maybe if magic was not involved this would be easier to get through, but with possessions and demons shimmering in and out how the hell is anyone supposed to know what is real and what is a hallucination?"

"Maybe there's a spell we can do something that will signify the difference," Paige suggested.

"It might work," Leo said as he walked over to her.

"Okay it might help," Piper said but she hated all the eyes on her as everyone was smiling sympathetically but she could tell they were uncomfortable. "I am going to get dressed and go to the club," she said and headed upstairs as Phoebe went to stop her.

"No Phoebe she needs to get out," Prue said and stopped her. "Are you ok?"

"I don't know, I should have never bought that thing," Phoebe replied.

"I meant the possession thing, are you ok?"

"Yes I am myself again and thanks Paige for hitting me over the head with the toaster," Phoebe replied.

"Anytime," Paige said and gave her a playful smack on the arm.

Cole arrived later that day and was covered in demon leftovers.

"Well that's going to come out," Phoebe said as she cringed a little at the smell.

"You know we can make a fortune selling some kind of detergent that cleans this stuff up," he said while using a towel to wipe his face.

"Advertising maybe an issue," Phoebe said and helped him.

"Where is everyone?"

"Piper is at the club, Prue on a date and I really hope she gets some and Paige is relaxing upstairs," Phoebe replied.

"So we have the downstairs to ourselves," he said and grabbed her.

"Cole don't, great now my clothing is ruined," she said as he made sure to squeeze her in tight as they both laughed a little.

They looked into each others eyes and the day melted away. All of the tension from earlier for both of them seem to fall off like a silky coat that you could feel slide off your body. Cole shimmered away with her and to the shower.

Piper was trying desperately to focus on her paperwork that has piled up since her absence. She knew that it had to be done but had no motivation as she rested her elbows on the table and let her hands cradled her head. She could feel her entire body relaxed, her breaths slow as she began to drift to sleep.

"Piper," a employee said and Piper raised her head quickly.

"Sorry I must have dozed off, is everything okay?" Piper asks.

"Yeah I was just checking on you," she replied.

"Oh I'm fine, thanks," Piper said and began to work on her paperwork.

"I was just concerned after the freezer thing and just wanted to tell you that if you need anything just ask," she said.

"Right the freezer thing, um I just lost track of time but everything's fine."

"You don't have to explain your my boss so I should probably just stay out of it," she said and began to leave.

"No Tammy its ok and I appreciate it, but it really is nothing to worry about," Piper said and smiled as Tammy left.

Piper looked back at her desk and ran her fingers across her forehead with a little firmness to try to focus. All she wanted to do was lay down on the couch. "No get the dam paperwork done, don't you dare go to sleep," she said and went back to her desk as Leo orbed in.

"Hay I just came to check on you," Leo said and Piper was glad for the interruption.

"I'm good still a little pissed at Phoebe but considering I missed her graduation and apparently her first job, I really don't have much to say," she said as she got up from the chair and forgot to get up slowly. She immediately felt dizzy and just landed on the chair instead of the floor.

"Piper," Leo said as he went to her.

"I'm ok just got up too fast," she replied as she rested her elbows on her knees and was slightly bent over.

"Side effect?"

"Yeah I forgot that I'm starting over and have to get used to this again. Leo we really need to find a way to fix this," she said as he rubbed her back.

"I know baby but that side effect only last for a couple weeks right?"

"It still sucks," she replied.

"Do you want me to help you with the paperwork?"

"If you wouldn't mind I just can't get motivated," she replied as she raised her head while the dizziness subsided.

"Okay," he said with his usual comforting smile and grabbed a folder with a pen. He then went and sat on the couch as Piper began to work on hers. He has helped her before and knew the process of ordering things they would need for the following month. She would look up at him periodically and smiled and could not believe how lucky she was that he was still with her. At that moment she was going to do whatever it took to get back to herself, the woman he fell in love with and she forced herself to do the paperwork.

The midnight hour quickly came and went as Prue came home from her date. Her hair was slightly disheveled and was clearly in a much better mood. She went upstairs to go to her bedroom to have a delightful sleep until she opened the door. Phoebe and Cole were snuggling but still awake as Phoebe's eyes widened.

"What are you doing in my room?" Prue asks slightly horrified at what may have occurred on her bed.

"Um well that is a really good question and I thought you were staying the night with Mike," Phoebe haphazardly replied as she was trying to get dressed while still under the sheets along with Cole.

"I said I might," Prue replied.

"Oh does that mean, wait your hair is out of place and your makeup is smudged, oh honey I'm so happy for you," Phoebe said as she was trying to change the subject.

"Nice try but that still does not explain why you're in my room," Prue said as she began to head towards Phoebe's.

"Its my fault," he said while following Phoebe and Prue to the other room with just his boxers on.

"Now I'm really concerned," Prue said and opened the door. The bed was clearly broken as its legs that once held it were now in pieces. Furniture was turned over and clothing was scattered about. Prue shut the door and leaned her back against it.

"We got a little too rambunctious, I will clean it the morning," Phoebe said.

"Rambunctious doesn't cover it," Paige said as she came out of her room and clearly was suffering lack of sleep due to the noise. She walked past them and went to the bathroom.

Phoebe tensed her body as she was awaiting the normal overreacting older sister. Instead she got laughter as Prue could not help but only imagine what was going on to make all that mess.

"Yeah I think she lost it," Cole said as he covered his manly parts.

"No its fine, just make sure Piper does not see that," Prue said and was still laughing as she went back to her room and closed the door.

"Is she okay?" Cole asks.

"Sex will do that to you," Phoebe replied as the door opened and bed sheets along with Cole's clothing came flying out. "Oh there she is," Phoebe said and started laughing herself as Paige stopped for a moment after exiting the bathroom and had to step over the bed sheets. She gave a slight evil eye to her older sister as she went back to bed. "Sorry," Phoebe said quietly.

"Looks like the broken bed for us," he said and picked up his clothes off the floor as Phoebe grabbed the sheets. They both went into Phoebe's bedroom and had to make do.
