Yuina kept gazing around the long secretive room, almost of lost in a completely different world. However she was soon brought out of such thoughts by the sound of a loud commotion. She looked over to see Shinako rummaging through a crate that was filled with all sorts toy music instruments.

"I bet I know what you're after," Yuina said, as she walked over to the crate and helped the toddler dig. Finally Yuina managed to pull out the one toy she knew Shinako had been looking for.

"Xylophone!" Shinkao shouted with delight.

"You really like the xylophone, don't you?" Yuina asked letting Shinako play with her toy. She looked around the room some more. If she wasn't careful, she just might find herself spending the whole day in here. She shook her head in frustration. "Shinako, I got to go get some of the chores done. You stay here okay?" Shinako didn't respond. She was too busy hitting her xylophone. "Wow, I guess her father was right. You really could just be left in here all day." Yuina carefully snuck out of the room and headed out to do her chores.

For most of the day Yuina was able to keep to her usual routine. The only difference was that she had to occasionally head to the music room to check on Shinako. The toddler was just fine being left alone to play. Yuina had to practically yank her away from the toy, and struggle to get her out of the room when it came time for lunch and her nap time.

"Shinako, I know you're happy your daddy decided to be nice, and give you back what you like. But you still have to take eat and take a nap!" Yuina insisted as she put Shinako into her crib.

"Play later?" Shinako asked before putting her head down on her pillow.

"Yes, you can play later," Yuina promised. "You're brother and sister will be home by then, and you can play together, okay?"

Shinako merely smiled before shutting her eyes. Yuina silently snuck out of her room and headed downstairs. She attempted to pass the music room. However, as she neared the door, she once again felt compelled to go in. She gazed around in wonder. She was sure if Chiho knew she had been allowed in here, she'd freak out.

"To think, this is where Haruka Nanami was able to sit down and make beautiful music with Mr. Ichinose. It must have been an amazing experience!" She sat down at the piano and hit a key. "I wonder how she managed to come up with such songs." She started hit some of the other keys. It seemed to come natural to her. She found herself playing over and over again, just enjoying the sound she was able to make. She didn't care if they didn't go well together. She was just having fun hitting the different key.

Rui looked up at the clock on the classroom, and saw it close to being the end of the day. She started dribbling her fingers in anticipation. "Come on, come on!" she thought. As soon as the bell rang, Rui bolted out of the door towards the front of the door. "I hope Kazu doesn't take too long to get out."

Rui had just made it out of the front door, and to her surprise, she found her brother already there waiting for her. "How, how did you managed to get out before me? You're classroom's further away from door than mine is!" she exclaimed.

"I have may ways," her brother said with a smirk. "But anyway, let's not worry about that. Let's just get home! The sooner we do, the longer we have to enjoy music before Dad come's home!" He grabbed his sister's hand and pulled her along towards the waiting bus.

"I'm so excited!" Rui said, "It's weird though. We're getting excited about seeing a room we've used to be allowed in all the time."

"Well, it's different times now," said Kazu like it was nothing. "Look, just be happy, okay? I know I am!"

Soon the two children arrived at home, and both ran as fast they could to their house.

"We're home Miss Kyouou!" Rui called out.

"Shh!" Hissed her brother, "Listen?" Rui looked at him confused before she realized she could hear beautiful music filling the house. It reminded her of times she and Kazu would come home to their parents either playing, or singing.

"Who's doing that?" Rui asked.

"Let's just go find out," Kazu said as he and his sister made his way down to the music room. Both he and Rui poked their heads in to see Yuina at the piano playing.

"Wow, that's pretty!" Rui said. Her voice was loud with excitement. At that Yuina jumped and looked behind her.

"Oh, hi kids, how's it going?" she said, trying to calm down.

"Hi," said Rui.

"I thought you said you could only really play 'Twinkle-Twinkle-Little-Star'," said Kazu.

"Well I wouldn't call what I was doing playing a song. I was just hitting some random note together," said Yuina, sheepishly.

"It still sounded good," said Rui.

"Thanks," said Yuina as she stood up. "Rui, you still need to take your medicine, and I need to go get your sister. She's probably up already, lets go."

"Oh, okay," Rui moaned. She still took Yuina's hand and started to follow her out of the room.

"I can stay here and play, right?" Kazu asked before they left.

"Of course," Yuina called over her shoulder.

Kazu smiled and ran over to the piano. He started to hit keys, just like Yuina did. He actually tried to mimic what he heard Yuina had been doing. "I wish she had written it down. Maybe I can get her to start doing that when she comes back," he thought .

"Kazu, can I ask you to watch your sister while I help your other sister with her medicine?" Yuina asked suddenly coming back into the room with the two girls in tow.

"Oh sure," said Kazu, "Hey Miss Kyouou, when you come back, do you think you can replay the song you were playing before?"

"Uh, I guess, if I can figure it out again," said Yuina.

"I want to hear it again," said Rui.

"Well, like I said, we'll see if I can re-do it again," Yuina said, tugging Rui out of the room.

Yuina was slightly surprised that it didn't take any kind of games or special treats to get Rui to take her meds this time around. Instead, Rui took them all just fine. "Let me guess, you're really anxious to get back to the music room, huh?" Yuina asked.

"Very much!" said Rui with a smile.

"Well, we're done, so let's head back," said Yuina. Rui quickly raced back to the room, with Yuina close behind.

"Kazu, I'm done. Move over and let Miss Kyouou try again," Rui called out to her brother.

"No, Rui, let your brother play," Yuina tried to insist.

"No, we want to hear you play," Kazu said, getting away from the piano , "Please? We'll even get you some paper for you to write down the melody."

"Well," Yuina said, as she watched Kazu run to a storage closet in the room and threw it open.

"I'm sure we have some blank sheet music around here somewhere!" Yuina head him mutters as he dug through some folders. Suddenly a single piece of paper seemed to come floating out of the closet, landing near Kazu's feet.

Yuina walked over and picked it up to see it barley had anything on it. Just a vague start on what she could only assume was a new song. "You know, if it's easier, we can just use this sheet right here. It's practically empty," she suggested.

"No need, I found some," Kazu said, holding up a blue folder.

"Oh," said Yuina.

"What is that anyway?" Kazu asked, trying to look at the sheet in Yuina's hand.

"I'm not sure, it doesn't look like it has much on it," said Yuina, studying the sheet. Then she noticed three letters in the top left corner; H.N.I. "Does that stand for Haruka Nanami Ichinose?" she asked out loud.

"You mean Mommy?" Rui asked, looking at sheet. "This must have been the last song she was starting to write before she died."

"Oh I see," said Yuina, "I wonder how it sounds."

"Play it!" Kazu insisted.

"You sure are a lot easier to get along when you're in this room, you know that?" Yuina asked. She still went back to the piano and started to try playing the music.

"Oh, pretty!" Shinako praised.

"You know, I bet that would go great with the melody you were playing earlier!" said Kazu.

"Are you sure?" Yuina speculated, "I don't know, I'm not even sure that I can remember it"

"That's why you need to try writing it down while you're playing it," said Kazu, "I'll go get a pencil and you can add it to Mom's work."

"Oh no!" Yuina suddenly insisted jumping up, "This was your mom's work, her last work. I can't tamper with it."

"We'll just make a copy," said Kazu, "We can do it in Daddy's office!"

'Are you sure you really wanting me to do this?" Yuina asked, "I'm an amateur at this sort of thing. This is your mom's work, a genius. Why have me do it?"

"We want Mommy's work to live on," said Rui.

"And what you were playing earlier was perfect for it. I'm sure if Mom was here she'd agree," Kazu added. He picked up the sheet and hurried out of the room. Yuina, Rui and Shinako followed him to Tokiya's office, where Kazu was already trying to fiddle with his father's printer and copier.

"Kazu, stop," Yuina ordered, trying to keep the boy for doing something wrong to the machine, "If it means that much to you, I'll make a copy, and we'll try to work on it. She managed to work it just right to make a few copies of the original work. She and the kids then quickly headed back to the music room, where Yuina sat at the piano. "You're really sure you want me to do this?"

"We'd do it, but we need help with it too," Kazu explained.

Yuina breathed a little sigh. "Well, alright, let's try it." She started hitting a few notes like she did before, again not carrying in what order she was doing it in.

"Good, good, now write it down!" Kazusaid quickly.

"Um okay," Yuina said, picking up the pencil Kazu had provided, "But what notes were they?"

"Don't worry, I'll help with it," said Kazu. He pointed to the different lines and spaces on the sheet where Yuina needed to write down the notes.

Yuina followed his instructions as best she could, while Rui and Shinako watched, eagerly.

"Mommy," Shinako said suddenly pointing to Yuina.

"No Shinkao," Rui whispered, "Just because she's acting like Mommy, it doesn't mean she is Mommy."

"Mommy," Shinako said, sounding like she was confident the woman at the piano was her mother. Rui sighed, giving up.

"Are you sure this is right?" Yuina asked after a while.

"It sounds good to me," said Kazu, "But we can also go back and fix it later."

"Well," Yuina said, She felt she shouldn't be doing this. That she didn't have the right to be continuing on the work of a legend like Haruka. Just then she looked at her watch, and was relieved to see she had an escape. "Oh look a the time. Your father's probably going to be home soon. I should go get started on dinner. You kids can keep playing in here until he gets here, alright?"

Yuina started to head out of the room before Rui asked, "Can we work on the song some more tomorrow?"

"Uh, we'll see," was all Yuina would respond before hurrying out of the room.

"She doesn't seem to like this much huh?" Rui asked her brother.

"She's just new to it. Mom once said she was the same way when she started school," said Kazu. He took the sheet he and Yuina had been working on and put it safely in a folder along with their mother's original work. "Maybe Mom wanted someone like Miss Kyouou, who's just starting out, to really help continue her work. I'd bet she'd be encouraging towards Miss Kyouou if she was here."
