Kinoshita Yuuko
Through the movie was playing, going on with some kind of surprise attack on Japan, it did not hold as much of her attention as did Hideyoshi. He seemed to be enjoying the movie as he and Akihisa quietly laughed with each other from time to time, and the people around him (that were not of his group) did seem not to be interested in him, their attention more on the movie. For that, she was glad.
But something she wasn't glad for was that her brother was too close to Akihisa for her own comfort. They both loved each other; they both had nothing holding them back from each other. They weren't both guys anymore, and they weren't related to each other. She could lose Hideyoshi to Akihisa at any time...
Another one who seemed to be troubled by how close the two were was the hideyoshi sitting next to Akihisa; Shimada Minami. Yuuko knew that he had kissed Akihisa before, and she knew that he was in love with her. So, with Hideyoshi taking up all of Akihisa's attention, it was obvious that he would be feeling saddened.
If only Yoshii could fall in love with Shimada...
Maybe, she could get the two of them closer, somehow? That way, she wouldn't have to fear losing Hideyoshi... but, no... Hideyoshi loved Akihisa, and besides... it wasn't her business to mess with people's relationships... especially with relationships that would affect her brother in a negative way if she messed with them. She had just gotten free from Yuuji's hold, and just got Hideyoshi to feeling better... no way she could ever put Hideyoshi through something like that again.
So what could she do? She wouldn't be able to win Hideyoshi over by picking off the competition, and how could she win him over by herself when they were siblings? She'd just be a sister to him...
Unless she confessed...
Unless she made her true feelings for him known...
But how could she muster up the courage to confess to him...
Funny, she could take on a group of bigger and taller delinquents without batting an eyelash, but she could barely consider confessing her feelings to her brother...
But even if she were to confess, would he return her feelings?
But if she never confessed, she would never know.
One of these days, she'd have to confess or truly lose Hideyoshi.
But not now, it was too soon.
But later... while they're still in high school...
She couldn't be too late... neither too soon...
She'd have to find the right time...
before she risked everything and confessed...
Shimada Minami
Even though he was happy that he could spend a fun time going on an outing to the movies with his friends, he was still feeling a bit down. Even though he was sitting right next to Akihisa, the girl was barely paying any, if any, attention to her as she made low and quiet comments to Hideyoshi which ended up making both of them quietly laugh. Just by looking at them, Minami could see that the two of them had a much closer relationship with each other than he and Akihisa had.
Not only was he feeling down because of all of this, he was also feeling jealous of Hideyoshi... he knew it was wrong to feel such a feeling, especially after what had recently occurred, but still... he couldn't help but feel it…
Before he knew it the movie had ended and they were exiting the theater, Akihisa chatting with Hideyoshi about her favorite parts, not paying any mind to Minami. He knew that Akihisa's attention was only focused on Hideyoshi so much because of the week he had been feeling down, rather, he hoped that it was just that... so that he could retain some hope that Akihisa would soon be paying much more attention to him.
The way this was going, he would lose Akihisa to Hideyoshi. He had to do something to win Akihisa over, but what could he possibly do? Maybe... maybe he could ask Akihisa on a date? Just the two of them...
Before Minami knew it, they were going their separate ways. Akihisa and Hideyoshi waving each other off as they went in opposite directions, leaving Minami to sigh and start heading for her home. After several meters, he took notice of something soft and familiar pressing up against his arm. Looking over, he saw that Miharu was clinging to his arm, her chest pressing against him. "M-Miharu?" Minami questioned, trying and failing to free his arm.
The somber expression on her face made him halt his movements. "Honey," She began, looking into his eyes with her own. He immediately noticed that they did not have the familiar crazy yuri-girl sparkle in them like they did have every time Miharu spotted her, "you're looking down, what has made you so sad?"
"W-what do you mean?" Minami asked, though he already knew what she meant. He was just trying to stall time as he tried to think of how to answer her.
"It's all Yoshii's fault, isn't it? Spending more time laughing with Hideyoshi rather than you," Miharu squeezed his arm tighter, causing a light red blush to spread across his cheeks. The love evident in her voice as she continued on made his blush deeper. "I would never make you feel that way, honey. Never."
There was something in her eyes that caught his attention, something beautiful and lovely that took away his words and thoughts. He barely noticed when Miharu began to inch closer, her soft lips heading for his own. He didn't move, he just couldn't move as he continued to look into her eyes. A look so beautiful and so lovely in her eyes captivating him beyond comprehension. Her lips were even closer now, barely a centimeter away.
That was when they both heard the footsteps.
Both Minami and Miharu quickly backed away from each other before looking to the side and seeing a long, yellow-haired feminine man standing in shock as he watched them. "S-s-sorry for disturbing you!" He quickly stammered before hurriedly heading off.
Minami, finally managing to get his focus back, backed away from Miharu some more as he finally was able to free his arm. "I-I should be heading home." He said quickly, hurriedly heading away, not believing he had almost let Miharu kiss him.
And not wanting to believe that he was blushing so hard because of how close she had been to him.
Kinoshita Yuuko
Yuuko had hurried home after Hideyoshi had separated from Akihisa, and after she had made sure there were no possible molesters along the route back home. Thankfully, she had seen a couple of her uncles (police officers) about the streets, so she wasn't too worried for her brother's safety.
After arriving home, she had quickly gotten into her pajamas again and took her position on the couch, picking up her manga and opening it so she could try and convince Hideyoshi that she hadn't gone after him and that he hadn't seen her when he was looking straight at her. She knew it was pretty much a futile effort, but how could she be herself if she didn't try and say no?
The sound of the door opening was heard as Hideyoshi came in. "Sis, I'm home!" He called out to her as he pulled off his shoes. Yuuko was sitting with her legs hanging off the couch as usual, her pose not allowing her to immediately see Hideyoshi. When he came into the living room and into visual range, he had a cheerful smile on his face as he greeted her.
"How was your walk home?" Yuuko asked in a monotone voice, wanting to make sure no one had tried to molest him despite the officers and her own search
"Just a couple of guys tried hitting on me, but thankfully, no one tried to molest me." He said with a sigh as he took a seat on the opposite end of her, forcing her to raise her head back to look at him.
"How was the movie?" She asked him for the sake of conversation.
"You should know since you went there, sis." He responded.
"I didn't go see your little movie, little brother." She told him, knowing it was futile from the start.
"Commander Nakamoto's return was quite nice, wasn't it?"
"His name is Nakamura-" Yuuko narrowed her eyes at her brother, knowing that he had used her need to auto-correct him against her. Hideyoshi just gave her a triumphant smile before he stood up and headed for the kitchen. He came back when he had finished making some tea, no doubt wearing that smile the entire time.
"Hideyoshi, how do you know me so well?" She asked, wanting to hear his own answer through his own lips.
The smile turned from triumphant to an affectionate smile, nearly making a blush settle across her face. "You're my dearest sister." Him adding in 'dearest' made the blush wash over her, her heart beat increasing as she tried to hide her blush by reading her manga.
Hideyoshi set two teacups on the table before sitting down. "I have drama club activities tomorrow after school, two of my club members are heading straight home afterwards and they live this way, so we're going to walk together. You don't have to wait for me at school."
"Alright." Yuuko told him, placing her feet on the ground setting aside her book for the teacup. For some reason, she wanted to do something tomorrow that would require Hideyoshi to not be home... what she wanted to do, she did not know just yet.
A/N: What if Akiyama hadn't shown up?
There was something in her eyes that caught his attention, something beautiful and lovely that took away his words and thoughts. He barely noticed when Miharu began to inch closer, her soft lips heading for his own. He didn't move, he just couldn't move as he continued to look into her eyes. A look so beautiful and so lovely in her eyes captivating him beyond comprehension. Then, her lips were upon his own, a tender peck as she waited to see if he would push her away. But he didn't, he held her close to him with his free arm going around her, inviting her to kiss him more. Miharu pressed her lips against his, her tongue coming into his mouth as he responded in kind. He didn't know how long they kissed, but eventually they had to pull away from each other.
Miharu pressed her index finger against her lips, a blush on her face as she looked into his eyes. "I love you, Minami," Minami didn't respond, not moving even when Miharu pressed her lips against his own once more. This exchange was soon over through its effects were longer lasting, "I'll always love you."
A/N: Nya?
"The above has no real meaning." The author said out loud, keeping on typing as the room quietened down.
Story Creation Room
Minami and Miharu were sitting next to each other, Miharu's head on Minami's shoulder as they both slept. On the other side of the room, Akihisa and Kouta were snuggling up to Yuuji. Kubo was with Iron Man over in one of the corners of the room, just sleeping on the same wall.
And for some reason, both Shouko and Mizuki were sleeping on the bed.
Outside, the FFF Inquisition members were doing night-time rituals.
