Chapter 25: The Final Battle Pt2

The Symbiote formally known as Swift Cloud just stares at the league, a horde of Symbiotes are waiting hungrily right behind her, Spiderman steps forward.

Spiderman: Jackie? Jackie can you hear me?

The Symbiote just stares at him menacingly.

Spiderman: Jackie I know you're in there! We're your friends, we can help you!

The Symbiote's stare seems to soften a bit, seeing this Spiderman takes a few more steps towards it.

Spiderman: That's right your friends, don't let the Symbiote take over, fight it!

At that moment, the Sym-Cloud let out a horrific screeching noise, followed by the rest of the Horde. Sym-Swift Cloud dashed forward extended its claws and tried to slash at Spiderman forcing him to jump out of the way and Sym-swift Cloud to chase him; this caused the rest of the horde to attack. Arming themselves, the rest of the league raise their gas guns.

Green Hornet: WE HAVE LIMITED AMMO FOR ANTI-VENOM, MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT!

And on that note, they open fire on the horde, a number of Symbiotes are hit causing them to transform back into humans and fall over unconscious. The league start throwing smoke grenades into them, curing more of them, but there's far too many of them and some manage to get close to the group. As a few Symbiotes rush at Kato, they morph their arms into blades and attempt to cut him down, however Zorro steps in, sword drawn and blocks their attacks and starts fighting them back.

As a group Symbiotes charge at Green Hornet, he takes out and extends his Hornet Sting with one hand while still firing his gas gun with the other. He points the Hornet sting at the group and activates it, at its full setting it blast the group off their feet and crashing into a few nearby cars.

Both the Shadow and Phantom are standing back to back, holding their dual weapons and shooting at any and all Symbiotes they can see.

Shadow: I forgot what a skilled marksman you are.

Phantom: Not so bad yourself...for a millionaire playboy.

Shadow:...First to 50?

Phantom: You're on!

As these heroes are battling on the ground, Rocketeer is flying high and attacking from above, firing his grenade launcher in to the horde while narrowly avoiding Symbiotes leaping up and trying to swat him out of the sky. Meanwhile Spiderman is swinging around, trying to keep Sym-Cloud at bay.

Spiderman: Jackie you've got to fight this! Remember who you are!

The creature screams and it ponytails extend and try to stab the wall crawler, however he manages to dodge every incoming attack and leaps out of the way, but then one tentacle grabs Spiderman by the leg and hurls him across the bridge.

I suspected that she had a thing for me but...

CRASH! He lands right on top of a wrecked car. He extends his arm up slowly and points his finger up.

Spiderman:...Ow!

Meanwhile, a group of Symbiotes try to jump Shadow and Phantom, Shadow vanishes into thin air just before they doggy pile on top of Phantom. After struggling for a few moments the Symbiotes are suddenly flung of Phantom, he stands back up and raises his right fist. His skull ring is glowing, encasing his hand in a blue glow and when each Symbiote charges at him, he punches them with his ring hand, destroying the Symbiotes and leaving the hosts unharmed. As the last one leap at him from behind, it is suddenly shot in mid fight, looking round Phantom sees the Shadow standing across from him.

Shadow: 50!

Phantom: 62!

Shadow: You didn't shot them, they don't count.

At another corner of the bridge Green Hornet, Kato and Zorro are fighting a small group of Symbiotes, Zorro using his sword, Kato, his Nunchucks and Hornet shooting them with his gas gun.

Green Hornet: So Zorro, How do you like America?

Zorro: Apart from stopping a madman, racing against a bomb and fighting these things? This has been an interesting experience.

Kato rushes at the last Symbiote and fly kicks it in the head.

Kato: You should see Shanghai!

The fight between the League and the Symbiotes is going well, the hordes numbers have dwindled leaving only a few stragglers which were easily taken out by Rocketeer.

Rocketeer: Like shooting fish in a barrel...using grenades!

Spiderman: AHHHHHHHHH!

At that point Spiderman crashes into Rocketeer, knocking them both to the ground and on top of one another.

Phantom: Are you two ok?

Spiderman: Yea! Good thing I landed on something soft.

Rocketeer: THAT'S ME!

Spiderman: Oh sorry, dude!

The other heroes help them to their feet, as they do so Sym-Cloud crashes down in front of them, leaving a small crater around her; she looks up at the league and lets out another deafening high pitch screech.

Rocketeer: Kid it's us!

Zorro: Señorita!

Green Hornet: Why haven't you cured her?

He raises his gas gun, points it at her and fires. In a split second Sym-Cloud dodges the shot, Hornet fires again but using her speed, she dodges every shot.

Spiderman: That's why!

Moving at incredible speed Sym-Cloud charges at them knocking over Hornet and using her tentacles to attack her teammates, knocking them all to the ground. Phantom gets back up and attacks her with his glowing fist; she dodges every attack and counters with her claws, knocking him down. Kato jumps in and tries to choke her from behind with his Nunchucks, but she flips him over and kicks him so hard that he crashes into a wrecked car.

Rocketeer flies down and tries to shoot her with his grenade launcher, but she uses her speed to dodge the attacks then leaps up and wraps one of her tentacles around his throat, dragging him to the ground and starts to slam him on the ground repeatedly.

Rocketeer: Ow!... Ow!... A little...Ow!...Help!

Zorro comes out from now where and uses his sword to slice through the tentacle, causing Sym-Cloud to scream in pain and drop Rocketeer. Hornet and Kato try to jump her from behind, but she uses her speed to run round them, grab them by one leg each and twirl them both round and round before letting go and making them crash into Phantom and Zorro.

Then Spiderman uses his webbing to ensure her, temporally.

Spiderman: Don't try to hurt her!

Rocketeer: It's not her I'm worried about.

Shadow: Spiderman!

Spiderman: Shadow! Where are you?

Shadow: Listen carefully and do exactly as I say!

As Sym-Cloud starts to break free from the webbing, Spiderman moves over to the edge of the bridge.

Spiderman: Jackie listen, this is not you! Goblin turned you into this, FIGHT HIM! Just like you've been fighting all this time! You're nothing like him, nothing like your father! You're a hero, YOU'RE SWIFT CLOUD!

Suddenly she stops struggling and pokes her face out of the webbing, the Symbiotes face seems to melt off slightly to revel part of Jackie's face.

Swift Cloud: P...Pe...terrrrrr!

Spiderman: Jackie! FIGHT IT!

Swift Cloud: I...can...I can't!

Spiderman: YES YOU CAN!

Swift Cloud: Ple...please...help!

The Symbiote engulfs her again and brakes free from the webbing and charges right for Spiderman. Just as she is about to tackle him, Shadow appears from the shadows and points his gas gun at them, he fires and the gas pellet impacts just as Sym-Cloud and Spiderman collide. But the sheer force from Sym-Cloud causes them to topple over the side and off the bridge.

Zorro: NO!

Rocketeer: SPIDERMAN!

Green Hornet: CLOUD!

The league rushes over to the side of the bridge and look down over the edge, they see a web line attached to the underside of the bridge and on the other end, Spiderman is dangling and clutching a cured Swift Cloud with one arm.

Spiderman: I'M ALRIGHT! WE'RE ALRIGHT!

Swift Cloud starts to regain conciseness and looks right at Spiderman.

Swift Cloud: Peter?

Spiderman: Hey Jackie. Are you alrig...?

He doesn't get to finish his sentence, as Swift Cloud uses her free hand to lift up his mask and kisses him deeply and passionately on the lips.

Chibi/Angel/Devil Spiderman: AWWWWWEEEEEEE.

As they continue to kiss, the wind causing them to swing slightly, they are too distracted to hear from up top.

Shadow: ERR, WERE ON A TIGHT SCEADULE!

SHIELD Tri-Carrier-2013-Night

Ava and MJ are exploring the hallways of the Tri-Carrier, although it seems to be deserted.

MJ: Ok, this is creepy.

Ava: Sam? Danny? Luke? No one is answering there communicators.

MJ: Where is everyone?

They hear a sound from behind them; they turn round to see what it was.

Ava: Who's there?

They see a shadow appearing round a corner.

Ava: MJ get behind me!

As MJ obeys and whatever is round the corner is getting closer and closer until, Nova staggers round the corner and collapse.

Ava: Sam!

Nova: Don't...come any...closer!

He begins to clutch his stomach as is he was in pain

Ava: Sam! What's wrong?

Nova: Something...wrong...everyone...changing...run.

Ava: Sam?

Nova: RUN!

As he screams, he starts to fade slightly and then a black substance engulfs his entire body, turning him into a...

Ava: SYMBIOTE!

The Sym-Nova looks right at them and lets out a long high pitch screech.

A/N: There! They kissed, are you happy now? I'm just kidding, well now that Swift Clouds back our hero's better get moving to stop that bomb. But what about Ava and MJ? Looks like they got problems of their own. Please let me know what you guys think and feel free to comment, there all that sustain me.
