Epilogue

Evelyne walked to the center of the room she was standing in and looked around, from the white dress hanging in front of the window, over to the vanity that her flowers where sitting on. Twenty years ago today she died saving her family, now she's going to walk down the aisle and marry Kol. There were still problems between her brothers group of friends and the originals, but they decided to put it aside for her wedding. St first she had been reluctant to have it on this day, but Ric said they should make it a happy day.

Yes he's still on the other side, but he made Jeremy convince her. But what no one else knew was that today was also the day she met Kol over a hundred years ago. So Kol had gone for it from the get go, but it took time and convincing from everyone to get Evelyne to agree. Once she had said yes, Bekah and Caroline got to work planning her wedding together. That astonished everyone, including them. But Evelyne told them they couldn't touch her dress and that no one but her and her brothers would know what it looked like until the day.

With a slight knock on the door, Rebekah and all the other girls came in, jaws dropping at her wedding dress in front of the window.

"Ready to put it on?" Elena said with a bright smile matching all of the other girls.

"I think so," Evelyne said as Caroline and Rebekah got the dress ready for her to put on. Her hair was already done; it hung mostly in her natural loose curls with a slight bump at the top for her crown/veil. Her make was simple and completely her. The girls helped her into her dress and once she had it on their jaws all dropped again.

"Shut your mouths before you catch a fly." Evelyne said slipping her shoes and veil on herself. Finally she added her necklace and ring that complemented her dress as well.

Another knock on the door but it didn't open instead her brother asked "Are you ready?"

"Yes, I think I am." Evelyne said turning to face the door as the girls opened it so that her brothers could come in. once they saw her they both just grinned at her and she could feel how happy they were for her.

"Let's go then," Damon said holding his arm out for her to take. She accepted it and they walked out to near the staircase but not able to be seen by anyone below. Klaus, Elijah where waiting for them both with large smiles.

"Still can't believe Kol picked Jeremy as his best man," Elena said with a small laugh as everyone got in line to walk down the stairs. First Klaus and Caroline, Elijah and Bonnie, Stefan and Elena, and Rebekah as maid of honor, and Jeremy and Bonnies five year old twins as flower girl and ring bearer.

"Yeah well, I can't believe Evelyne picked Damon to walk her down the aisle." Stefan said making them all laugh.

Not a minute later the music started to play and they started down the stairs. Vampires, and witches, and some humans stood and watched them all walk with big smiles on their faces. Almost every vampire that Evelyne had met was there to see their protégé get married. Every witch she had ever help, or their family was there to honor her. And once they had all seen her coming their smiles got even brighter.

As soon as Evelyne and Kol locked eyes the rest of the ceremony was a blur and they were dancing around the dance floor with everyone else. One dared bother the couple afraid they might get snapped at, well everyone but Stefan and Damon who each wanted a dance with their little sister.

I'm thinking of another Story and i might call it Sister of Darkness. It won't have Evelyne in it but the main characters name will be Parker and she is going to be Elena and Jeremy's sister. She will also have a romance between her and Kol. Obviously it will be explained in more detail in the story. Thank you so much for reading.
