The four heroes came in to the tent and Merlee brought out Tales of the Mushroom Kingdom, to revel Mario, Luigi, and Peach returning to the palace of Sarasaland where a young Daisy was simply reading book about paleontology in the garden. "Another kidnapping, Peach?" Daisy calmly asked, like this was an everyday thing.
"Yeah, but Mario and Luigi saved...again," Peach awkwardly said, then turning to Mario and Luigi; "What would you like as reward?"
"Oh, no thanks. The violin and the plunger were enough," Mario said, turning down the reward. He then noticed the sky was growing darker, and it seemed as if a storm was on the horizon.
"You two better get home, and I know I've said this many times, but thank you," Daisy said, pushing the two throw the hedge, and grabbing her younger sister. Mario looked up at the sky as raindrops fell from the heavens, and quickly scrambled down the mountain to the entrance to the Serving Village. The door was at the very base of mountain's side of which the two boys were scrambling to now as the rain poured down onto the two boys as they rush towards there. They made it inside where they saw bustling Village where the houses were carved into the mountain to look like that of mushrooms. The dirt streets were crowded with people they knew very well, wells stood there while people drew water from, and sunlight shining through the sun hole.
"Well, come on," Mario said, as he and Luigi darted down the stairs, and through dozens of people.
"HEY!" the maids said when Mario and Luigi crashed into them, while carrying some pink and yellow clothes and heading for the washing room.
"Sorry!" Mario and Luigi said, simultaneously helping the koopa women to the feet, then raced up the ladder to their house. The house they lived in was stone with white outside, and mushroom shaped topper. The two raced inside where they found their mother, Pauline preparing dinner. "Hi, mom. Can we perform Who Framed Roger Rabbit? for you and dad?"
"Not right now, Mario. Go play," Pauline said stirring up some ravioli in a pot over a closed furnace.
"Okay, mom," Luigi said, as he and his brother climbed the ladder to their bedroom. Their bedroom had two beds, one red and green bed (the latter a bit more worn), and on either side was something that they loved to do. For Mario, there was a the tool that Daisy gave them months ago, and drawings from some of his favorite TV shows; meanwhile, Luigi's side possessed the silver violin, and a baseball bat and ball. Suddenly Luigi' face beamed and broke into a wide grin. "Let's play Roger Rabbit!"
"Alright. What scene?" his brother asked, happily setting down the Adventures of Sir Clogs-A-Lot (books which they parents were not the fondest of).
"How about that scene where they are trying to get the handcuffs off with that saw," Luigi said, grabbing white bunny ears from Easter last year.
"Perfect," Mario said. "Be right back." Two minutes later, he came back up with their dad's heavy trenchcoat. So, with Mario playing Eddie Valiant, and Luigi playing Roger Rabbit, they began to play. Mario and Luigi put there hands on their nightstand as if they were chained together, and used a block for a saw. Mario scraped the nightstand with the block, as Luigi fidgeted like in the movie. "Hold still will ya," Mario said, in fake gruff tone.
Luigi took his hand away from the nightstand, and said in a squeaky voice "Does this help?"
Mario continues to 'saw' at the desk, and says, "Yeah. Thanks." He looks up again and Luigi quickly places his hand back on the nightstand. "You're telling me you could've done that the whole time," Mario said, continuing the gruff tone that was very fake.
"Not the whole time. Only when it was funny!" Luigi said in the squeaky tone of voice, before both of them burst into laughter, before they heard their mother downstairs.
"Dinner time, Mario and Luigi," Pauline called to the two boys, who were throwing their costumes onto their beds.
"Last one down is Bowser," Mario said before racing one another the second level.
