Chapter Twenty-Five
Imprisoned
After a while, the turtles, April, Casey, Splinter and Mona arrived at the Foot Headquarters. After being forcefully escorted into the vans their hands were bound and they were shocked several times with cattle prods to stop them from fighting back.
They were soon dragged inside the Headquarters where Arashi stood before them to decide where they were to go.
As he looked into the eyes of the turtles, he could see the fury and rage within and it pleased him so much seeing them so helpless yet he knew if the ninja restraining them let their guard down he would be begging for mercy.
"Well, well." Arashi said "I never imagined I would see you back in my grasp, and this time with no hope of escape!"
As he spoke he stared at Leonardo who growled.
"All four turtles, their rat sensei, and the lizard whore..." he walked over to Mona and began to stroke her cheek, Mona grimaced in disgust.
Raphael roared through his muzzle but no-one could understand what he was saying.
"Don't touch her you filthy bastard!" Leonardo snarled. Michelangelo and Donatello glared.
"I never thought I'd see mutants trying to have children." Arashi said softly "And what thing inside you is?"
Mona spat in Arashi's face in anger.
"Fuck you!" she spat.
Arashi recoiled in disgust and slapped Mona hard across the face causing cries of shock from the turtles, April, Casey and Splinter.
"I shall be curious about that creature within you!" Arashi said running his hand over Mona's stomach "Whether I allow you to have the baby when it's ready...or have Arden cut it right out of your stomach!"
Raphael roared again in fury through his muzzle.
"Don't you dare!" Donatello spat.
"To hurt a child! A woman in pregnancy!" Snarled Splinter "The worst crime you can commit! And a cowardly act!"
Arashi walked over to Splinter and grabbed one of his whiskers before ripping it out causing the rat to yelp in pain.
"Shut up you old fool!" he snarled "I have many plans for your daughter! But I have more in store for you, your sons and your friends!" he looked at April and Casey who looked terrified.
He turned to the ninja.
"Take the turtles, the rat and the humans to the dungeons! I'll be down there later!" Arashi ordered.
He then turned to Dr Arden.
"Arden!" he barked "The Lizard is all yours! It'll be your decision if you wish to remove the baby or let it grow more, but either way, you will be charge of what to do with her and the child."
"Thank you my lord." Dr Arden smiled nastily; he then turned to the ninja holding Mona.
"To the laboratory!" he ordered.
"NO!" Leonardo yelled "Mona!"
Raphael roared through his nuzzle as tears fell from his eyes.
"Don't hurt her!" Donatello pleaded.
Michelangelo began crying as Mona was dragged away.
"Sister!" he screamed "Sister!"
Splinter also tried to fight but to no avail.
"You wait!" Leonardo screamed "We'll make you pay! We'll make you wish you were never born!"
Arashi laughed as they were dragged to the dungeon.
"And what exactly are you going to do?" he jeered "I'll deal with you later!"
He laughed as he watched the turtles, Splinter, April and Casey be lead to the dungeons.
What seemed like a long walk down, the turtles, Splinter, April and Casey were thrown into the dungeons.
Raphael as he had still continued to fight was chained up so tightly he could barely move and the ninja shocked him several times with cattle prods to break him.
The turtles, April and Casey were chained to the wall by their necks and wrists, there were still able to sit down but they couldn't move any further than a few feet.
Splinter meanwhile was strapped to an upright table with his wrists above his head.
The ninja laughed and jeered at the prisoners before leaving.
"I wonder what Arashi will do?" asked one.
"He won't kill them that's for sure." Said the second "But I shall be watching the whole show when he decides what to do with them!"
The ninja again laughed as they left the dungeon slamming the doors behind them and the whole place was silent.
After a long time, Donatello looked over to April and Casey, April was lying on the floor sobbing softly, her stomach was showing signs of bruising and bleeding and Donatello was worried there would be an infection.
"April!" he called over gently "April!"
April looked up from the floor and towards him.
"Don..." she whispered "Please...please forgive my betrayal..."
"It's not your fault April!" Donatello called across "It's Dr Arden who should be blamed! He dosed you with his cursed drugs; I know you wouldn't let loose your tongue under torture!"
April sniffled as she stroked her bloody stomach. Casey held her close to comfort her.
"A sneak..." she sobbed "After he dosed me with truth serum...he carved 'sneak' into my belly..."
"How does it feel?" Donatello asked "Your wounds...?"
"So painful..." April sniffed.
Donatello gritted his teeth in anger. he wished he could help April but he could hardly reach her due to the shackles.
"That bastard!" he looked upwards wondering what Dr Arden was doing with Mona.
"I'm so sorry..." April sobbed again "I'm so sorry...I should have let Dr Arden kill me before I told him anything!"
"You are not at fault April!" Splinter called out from his shackles "you must not keep torturing yourself for something you could not fight against!"
April bowed her head again and Casey held her closer.
"You're not to blame April!" he said "You were a victim in all this! Not a betrayer!"
Leonardo looked over to Raphael who hung from his wrists in defeat, he was no longer moving or protesting but tears flowed from his eyes.
He could feel something cracking within him staring at his imprisoned brothers, sensei and friends and now he felt something hurt even more as he thought of Mona captive and properly being tortured upstairs. He felt like a failure not being able to protect them, and now here they were, left to rot in the dungeons until their fate was decided.
Michelangelo was on all fours, his tears soaking his mask as he cried for his family; the sparkle was already gone from his bright blue eyes.
"Mona..." Leonardo whispered looking upwards "Oh God Mona...please stay strong!"
He looked around at his family then upstairs wondering what Mona was going through.
Mona meanwhile had been dragged to Dr Arden's lab, throughout her screaming, pleading and straining, Dr Arden had merely laughed and spoke about how he was going to make her his lab rat for life.
When they got to the lab, Dr Arden ordered Mona to be strapped to a table and drips be attached to her.
"Please!" Mona pleaded as the ninja strapped her down "Please! I beg you! Don't hurt my baby!"
Dr Arden laughed again.
"I have to say Lizard lady." He smirked "It's a right pleasure seeing you beg for mercy! The Monalisa I knew before would never plead for mercy!"
Tears streamed from Mona's eyes as she felt the ninja run their hands over her stomach, she could feel her baby moving about and it terrified her that the stress was causing the baby to become distressed.
Mona hated having to plead, but she didn't care about herself, all she could think about was her baby and that it would live through this ordeal.
"Please!" Mona sobbed "Please Arden! If you have any heart left in your cold blackened shell! Please don't hurt my baby! Do what you want with me! But please! Not an innocent child!"
Dr Arden smirked again and stroked her belly before looking at a ninja who was preparing a gas mask to put over Mona's face.
"Be assured Monalisa." He said "I don't intend on doing anything to the child...yet...but your DNA is of most importance!"
Mona struggled against the restraints and saw the ninja coming over with the gas mask.
"NO!" she screamed "NO!"
Dr Arden laughed again and the ninja placed the mask over Mona's face. As soon as he did, Mona felt helpless as the gas filled her nostrils and made her sleepy; she could no longer fight against the ninja or Dr Arden as the gas sent her into a dreamless sleep.
As she fell asleep, Dr Arden nodded at the ninja who left the lab, then the Doctor switched on the machine that would pump out her DNA to make more of the healing serum.
He stared at Mona's stomach, because she had been put to sleep, the baby had calmed down within, yet he could still see it moving about.
"It will be interesting to see what you carry within your belly Monalisa." Dr Arden mused "But I shall be speaking with Arashi to discuss what to do about it, I have knowledge of the woman's body during pregnancy, and know when it is safe to remove a newborn without ending its life..." he touched her stomach again "I wonder what this creature within possesses? If I can perform the operation safely, I might be able to find out..." he smirked then picked up a cell phone to call Arashi.
So the turtles, April, Casey and Splinter have been sent to the dungeons and Dr Arden has Mona and the unborn child in his lab!
What will the evil Foot do? And what will Dr Arden decide to do about the baby?
