Ash's POV

CIA Counterterrorism unit offices.

5pm.

I sat down drinking my coffee as I again checked my phone for any missed calls from Sydney or any messages and there was nothing, which surprised me as she always called me even if it was just to check if I was okay and how my case was doing. I was getting worried so I texted Alisha just to check if she was okay but I got no reply, which scared me even more.

I looked over at Morgan, he was looking over files while drinking his own coffee. He didn't look distressed or anything, I furrowed my eyebrows together before looking back down at my phone after hearing it beep. It was Sydney saying she was back home and with Alisha, something had happened at school making her stay behind. "Hey Morgan, We've got a problem," Said Gina entering the room and I looked over at her. She was playing with her hair.

"I'll be right out," He said and she nodded before leaving the room, I was still glaring at her. When Derek came over to me and turned my chair to face him. "I like when you get jealous baby, but I'm not going to leave you," He said brushing his lips against mine, I nodded before looking back down at my phone.

"I've got to phone Syd, something happened at school," I said and he nodded before pressing a kiss to my lips and walking out of the room. Leaving me alone to phone Sydney, it rung for two seconds before she picked it up. "Hey mommy," She said and I sighed.

"What happened today at school baby? Does mommy need to go and talk to your headteacher?" I asked her, I heard her giggle at my comment.

"No mommy, everything is fine. The teacher asked me to stay behind about my artwork and a club she set up for it and she was asking if I wanted to go," She said and I let out a sigh of relief, as I thought something else was happening.

"That's great baby, are you wanting to go?" I asked her and she screeched indicating that she wanted to go.

"Yeah, Will daddy be okay with that?" She asked and I let out a laugh.

"I'm sure he will be," I said when I spotted Gideon entered the room, "Hey baby, mommy has to go back to work. I love you okay?" I asked.

"I love you too mommy." She said and I ended the call.

"What's going on?" I asked him, crossing my arms over my stomach.

"Olivia has just been found dead in the room you guys were in yesterday, we think Bruno killed her because of her looking into his expenses," he said and I sighed before nodding. Great just what we need.

7 Hours Later.

Reid had just found where Aaliyah and her kids are hiding out but Hassan had beaten us to her, we had taken Kruger into custody for a lie we were doing to see if Bruno really was the mole and he had just given Gina the order to kill Hassan and she shot, but I had her talking in my ear, Hassan was still alive she didn't listen to Bruno's order so Gideon was right.

There would be a time that Gina wouldn't follow instructions, I smirked before walking over to Bruno. "Gun, and badge," I said and he looked at me confused.

"You got the mole, so I'm not." He said and I rolled my eyes as Gideon handed me the note we had made and I gave it to Bruno, he read over it before scoffing.

"That's ridiculos, you really think they will arrest me with all I know. And since your lead suspect just died you have no proof." He said and I let out a little chuckle.

"Actually, Hassan is alive and heading into police custody, now Gun and Badge," I said and he sighed before handing over it to me.

"The consequences that your going to face are going to be much harder to live with than you think." He said and I rolled my eyes before bringing forward the CIA agents that would take him away.

"Why turn against your country Bruno, that's what I don't understand," I said and he sighed before walking away with the agents, I smirked before turning to Gideon handing him Bruno's stuff and I dearrested Kruger. Patting him on the back and he gave me a hug.

"Thanks for knowing that I wasn't the mole, A," He said and I nodded before we headed out. Gina came in at the same time and pulled something off her wrist and gave it to me.

"I found it with Olivia, she would've wanted you to have it," She said smiling at me before handing me the bracelet. I sighed looking down at it, Olivia was my other best friend but I couldn't ask her to look after Sydney because of her work schedule.

"Thanks Gina, for everything," I said and she nodded before heading back into her office. She would be put up as head of the counterterriosim unit and I was happy for her. She deserved it and she was a good leader, You could see that out on the field. She just needs to learn to listen to some instructions and she should be fine. Morgan linked our hands together as we walked out of the CIA offices and walked back to the SUV's.

I leaned my head against his shoulder before we were called back by a voice, we turned to look at Aaliyah and her kids. They were little but not to much to give their mother greif and not old enough to give her attitude. "Are you the guys that helped save us?" She asked and we all nodded. "I owe you, After Summer's died. I didn't think anyone was going to save us from my husband. Do any of you guys have children?" She asked and me and Hotch nodded. "How old?" She asked.

"Mine's 2," Said Hotch.

"Mine's 7 turning on 8 in 2 months," I said smiling. She smiled.

"You do everything to protect them from the evil in this world but sometimes it's not good enough," She said before walking away and we smiled once more before walking away.
