A little lost kitten,
For a long time, the kitten had been abandoned by her mother,
For so long, she wouldn't even know if she had a sister or brother,
The only reason she had been abandoned was because she can't hear,
That's why her mother decided she didn't want her daughter near.
The kitten couldn't fend for herself, she was much too young and weak,
As winter drew near her chances of survival were beginning to look bleak.
She remembered begging her mother to watch over her, to let her stay,
But her mother had refused, who would want a deaf stray anyway?
Her belly grumbled, and the kitten followed her nose around the street,
Looking for some food, maybe even she could find some juicy meat!
The snow became so cold it sliced through her fragile body like a knife,
That's when, on the cold night, the unforgiving winter had claimed her life.
