Chapter 24: Seamless Ending

Emily's POV

Paige is not in hospital no more now she is home with her parents, and couple days ago Paige's mom had surgery and left breast had to be removed. And she is recovering and that's good but Paige is having a hard time trying to stop using drugs. But we try to help Paige not to think of drugs and we are in her room eating.

''How are you feeling?'' Lucas said.

''I feel sick and my body aches.'' Paige said.

''But you really have to promise you won't take drugs again.'' Aria said.

''I know.'' Paige said.

''You have to promise and mean it.'' Lucas said.

"I-I-I pr-promise.'' Paige said and I hold her hand.

"It'll be alright.'' I said.

''Promise what?'' Toby said.

''I promise I won't use drugs again.'' Paige said.

''What else?'' Hanna said.

''I promise I won't use drugs and I will talk to someone not put up a wall.'' Paige said.

''Good.'' I said.

'' You threw all the baggies away?'' Spencer said and Paige doesn't say anything.

"Paige I asked you something.'' Spencer said.

"Um I-I-I Y-y-yeah I I threw i-it" Paige stutters and she stutters.

"Guys let's search Paige's room for baggies.'' Hanna said.

''Come on don't do that.'' Paige said.

''You said that last time remember.'' Aria said.

''Okay go ahead and search my room and won't find no baggies.'' Paige said.

I'm still sitting next to Paige and they search room and they find no baggies.

''See told you guys won't find anything.'' Paige said.

''It was really scary knowing you overdose and we had no idea what was going to happen to you.'' I said.

''I'm sorry for everything and what I said I didn't mean it I was high.'' Paige said.

''So you really didn't mean to end it over?'' I asked.

"No Em, I really love you I never want you away from me I really love you Em." Paige said.

"I love you too Paige.'' I said and we smile Paige holds my hand.

''So romantic makes me wanna puke.'' Hanna said.

"Hanna!'' Aria scolds her.

"Shut up midget.'' Hanna said and pushes Aria, Aria smacks her arm and we all laugh.

"You both should marry each other.'' Paige said.

"I'll never marry midget.'' Hanna said and Aria pinches her.

''You two really make a cute couple.'' Paige said and we laugh

Next day-

I meet Paige at the lake and we are alone and I see Paige throwing rocks at the water.

''Hey Paige.'' I said.

''Hey Em.'' Paige said.

''Are you okay?'' I said.

''I'm getting there its hard my mind and body wants to do drugs.'' Paige said.

"I know Paige but you have to control your body don't let drugs control you.'' I said.

"I know.'' Paige said and I kiss her she kisses me back.

"I love you Paige.'' I said.

"I love you Em.'' Paige said.

''What does this mean for us?'' I said.

''I i love you and I don't want anyone else.'' Paige said.

''I only want you.'' I said.

Paige's POV

Standing here at the lake holding Emily's hand feels amazing. I wanna stop drugs forever I haven't taken it since I got out of the hospital but my body and mind just wants drugs and it's getting hard to control my body and mind. Emily and I go get something to eat and we start talking about random stuff.

''What are you going to do about college.'' Emily said.

''Not sure but I'm going to take a break from college and focus on myself and what to do.'' I said and we eat Philly cheesesteak.

''I'm happy you are getting better and you are trying.'' Emily said.

''Thanks, I couldn't done it without you guys and my parents.'' I said.

''I know what we can do.'' Emily said with a smile.

''Yea, like what?'' I said.

''I got a text from Spencer and they are going to play laser tag.'' Emily said.

''Yeah let's go.'' I said and we get in her car.

Emily turns on the radio and a song comes on and I sing along.

''Baby, I think I've lost my mind. Feels like you crashed into my life I keep on losin' track of time I'm so messed up, yeah.'' I sang.

''I can't remember what I did tonight or even yesterday Like dude, where's my car? Excuse me, what's my name?'' Emily sang.

''Someone gave me these clothes, I can't remember who. My mind's a total blank but I just can't forget about you. Ooh ooh oh forget about you.'' We sing.

We meet up with the other and we play in teams, Emily, Hanna, Aria and Spencer on the blue team and I'm the red team with Lucas, Toby and London. We start to play and I'm having so much fun right now and I got Emily she out. But I know she will get me back then Hanna got me and I didn't even see her. We keep playing later we go get something to eat.

I go home and I spend time with my mom and we are watching Wheel of Fortune and eating junk food.

''Mom are you okay?'' I said.

''I'm doing okay but what about you.'' Mom said.

''I'm okay too but sometimes it's hard but I have you guys to help me.'' I said.

''How are you and Emily doing.'' Mom said.

''We are doing well but we are not back together yet.'' I said.

''Why not? You love Emily.'' Mom said.

''We are working stuff out.'' I said.

''That's good.'' Mom said.

Some weeks later-

I haven't taken drugs in nearly more than a month and my body and mind feels fresh and happy. I never want to take drugs ever again I broke off contacts with Sam and the other drug dealers. I told Em that I used to kiss Sam whenever I was high. Emily got mad at first but she forgave me. I'm really happy to have Emily, my friends and my parents in my life. My mom has recovered from her breast cancer surgery and now she's okay and doesn't have breast cancer no more and I'm really happy for her. Today is the biggest day of my life as today I'm going to propose Emily. I'm really nervous and I hope Emily accepts the ring. Emily is in my room and nervously I walk inside my room I stand beside her than I get on my knees I have a ring.

I hold Emily's hand with my right hand.

"Emily I really love you. Since you came to my life and my life became amazing. I never want a life without you Em. I really love you. Will you marry me Emily Fields.'' I said and I look at Emily and she's not replying.

"Please say something my knees are hurting.'' I said.

"Yes I'll marry you.'' Emily said and I put the ring in her wedding finger I get up and kiss Emily and she kisses me back.

''I love you so much.'' I said and we kiss again.

''I love you too.'' Emily said and we have a big smile on our face.
