Gentleman

"Hey, Ferb?"

The green-haired teen looked up from his book in response.

"You're, erm, good with the ladies, right?" Phineas asked from his bed.

Ferb raised an eyebrow.

"I mean…" The red-head looked at his hands in embarrassment. "Well, they all think you're a gentleman and stuff and…"

"Is this about Isabella?" Ferb knew he didn't even need to ask.

"Yeah. It's just…"

"I thought your date went well?" The Brit returned his gaze to his novel.

"It did. It really did, but…"

"Then what's the problem?"

Phineas looked away, trying to hide the blush that was creeping into his cheeks. "What if… what if it's not enough? What if she…?"

"I'm going to stop you right there." Ferb closed his book and walked over to his brother. "Don't try and be anything you're not. Just be yourself."

"But…!" Phineas protested.

Ferb raised his hand. "She likes you for who you are. Changing that would ruin it." He cracked a grin and playfully nudged his brother. "You know I'm right. After all, I am the ladies expert, aren't I?"

Phineas laughed and elbowed his brother back. "You're right. Thanks Ferb."

Author's Note: First of all I'd like to apologize for this chapter. It's been so long since I've planned out everything that I forget how some of the chapters go, and I don't think this one lives up to my original idea. Either way, I can't help but imagine that Ferb would be the first one Phineas would go to for dating advice.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that we are officially a third of the way through this story! I'm sorry it's taken me years to get this far, and hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of the story out in a shorter time. Also I would like to thank everyone for the 13,000+ views and the endless support I've gotten for this story. Every review and fave and follow means the world to me! You all are so lovely and amazing! Thank you for sticking around with me for so long!
