A/N: Hey guys! It's me again with another chapter for you all! I wanted to get this up last week, but I ran out of time...but I have today off of work, so I thought I'd get this up today :). It took a little longer than I thought, but I finished it! But before we get to the chapter, let's get to the reviews!
Betterdays623: Maybe, but you can't really blame her. I mean, these guys have been torturing her since she was a baby, I'd probably react the same way if I was in that same situation. But, I think you'll find this chapter interesting :). She will act like Broly eventually, I promise, just give it some time.

And I have to agree with you on all of that, Videl is just...yeah (not to offend anyone that likes Videl, but I really don't like her :/). Yeah, I like to use cliffhangers...probably more than I should...I've been trying to cut back on the cliffhangers, but I don't think it's working XD. I'm glad to hear that about that one scene, I do want try to make it to where the reader can experience the things that the characters are feeling (but I think I could use a little more work on that too). You're welcome and thanks for the review :).

Segira thrashed around as she tried to break free from the thick metal net, but she had no success. Gohan was flying over to her as fast as he could, but she was still pretty far from him.
"They are not going to take her away, I won't let them!" Gohan thought as he sped towards her.
Segira was desperately trying to break free from the net, she tried kicking through it or somehow ripping an opening in it that was big enough for her to squeeze through by pulling some of it apart, but she still had no success. "I…I don't want to go back…I can't go back…!" She thought to herself as tears formed in her eyes, still doing everything and anything she could to break free from the net. She had already spent more than enough time at the lab, and she didn't want to go back. She'd rather kill herself than go through more painful experiments. She grabbed her upper arms with her hands, tilted her head down, and closed her eyes tightly as horrific memories of the past 16 years at the lab flooded her mind. "I can't go back…" She said quietly to herself. But then, her grip on her biceps suddenly tightened and she started to tense up as she tilted her head up again. "I will not go back!" She growled before suddenly screaming loudly as a huge surge of energy exploded from her body, instantly shattering the net to pieces.
Gohan, who had almost reached her, stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the change in Segira. She looked completely different than from just a few seconds ago! But she didn't resemble his father, Vegeta, Nappa, Broly, or any other Saiyan they've ever met, which meant that this new mindset must've been from a Saiyan they've never met or seen before, assuming Bulma was correct on that. Segira floated there for a few seconds as pieces of the metal net fell away and letting the energy she released fade away. She then glared down at the scientists with a look that could kill as they fired another missile at her. Before it could open up into a net when it was close enough, however, she easily hit it to the side with her hand. The missile did several summersaults in the air, getting tangled up in the thick metal rope that connected it to the ground. Once it tried to open, however, it was too tangled up in its own rope and couldn't open up, making it malfunction and overheat before exploding in a dense cloud of smoke. The scientists on the ground quickly fired several more missiles at Segira.
Gohan looked down at them and gritted his teeth. "Crap! Segira can't possibly dodge or deflect all of those by herself!" He thought to himself.
Before he could go help her, however, she did the complete opposite of what he thought she would do. Instead of freezing in place from fear, Segira scoffed a bit in annoyance, most likely from the scientists and missiles, before powering up and diving straight down towards the missiles, shocking Gohan. She grabbed the first missile that she came across and spun it around once before throwing it into another missile, both of them exploding on impact. Then, using her momentum from throwing the missile, she spun around again to kick another missile away with her heel, the missile snapping in half and spinning out of control for several feet before exploding, one of the halves hitting another missile and making that one explode as well. She quickly came to a stop and pulled a clenched fist back to her side before thrusting it forward, opening her hand when she did, and firing a large, light blue energy wave at the remaining missiles, making them all explode once the wave hit them. Gohan stared at her with wide eyes, completely stunned and not even sure if what he just saw really happened. Just a second ago, she was scared to death and couldn't do anything but stand there frozen in fear, but now she looked like a skilled warrior. He was starting to believe that what Bulma had told him and the others was true. Segira was quiet as she floated there and watched the scientists far below with a serious look on her face, the wind blowing her hair and clothes back.
"That's weird, now that I'm actually getting a closer look at her, she kind of looks like dad, only rougher, but she doesn't resemble anyone else. Turles does look like dad, but she doesn't look like him either…" Gohan thought to himself as he stared up at Segira before he shook his head. "No, I'm probably just imagining things." What sounded like whistling and loud explosions drew his attention to the scientists on the ground, they had fired at least a dozen more missiles into the sky, this time, aiming for both of them.
He clenched his fists tightly and looked at Segira to see what her reaction was. Her face hardened as she watched the scientists, obviously getting tired of this, and she clenched her fists tightly as well. "You guys are really starting to get on my nerves." She growled, her voice sounded gruff and deeper than before, a tone of voice Gohan's never heard her use before. She didn't even sound like herself though, she sounded a bit more masculine, but still feminine.
She suddenly yelled loudly, powering up as a short surge of energy exploded from her body, before diving down towards the missiles like she did before. Instead of just sitting there and watching like last time, Gohan decided to join Segira in her counterattack, he kind of wanted to fight side-by-side with her at least once, he just hoped she wouldn't mistake him for an enemy while she was like that. Segira did a front flip to bring her heel down on top of the first missile she came across, making it plummet towards the ground and crashing into the hard ground far below, making it explode. She immediately stopped herself from doing another front flip and she jerked herself back to do a back flip just in time to dodge a missile that was shooting towards her. She landed a hard knee to the muzzle of the missile when she did that, making a huge hole in the top of the missile. It plummeted to the ground, a dark trail of smoke following it, and exploded in a large cloud of smoke and fire once it hit the ground. She wasn't the only one taking missiles out though, Gohan had taken out at least 5 missiles with ease, and he was still taking more of them out. Even though they kept taking missiles out, however, the scientists kept firing more and more missiles at them.
"How many of these things do they have!?" Gohan thought as he destroyed another missile. He and Segira had already destroyed several missiles, but more and more kept coming. He glanced at Segira for a split second, and he immediately knew that this was getting on her nerves because of her expression.
"That's it!" She growled when the scientists fired another wave of missiles at them after she destroyed 2 more.
She suddenly flipped backwards to dodge a missile that was coming her way before firing a large, light blue energy wave at the incoming missiles once she straightened up, but the missiles weren't the main target. Since she fired the attack in a downward angle, and since it was strong enough to easily cut through the wave of missiles, it would hit either on or right next to the scientists that were firing missiles at them. Either way, most, if not all, of them would die or get seriously wounded. But Gohan, who didn't want the scientists to be killed since they were humans who were just following orders, tried to get between the energy wave and the scientists to block the attack from hitting and killing the scientists, but he wasn't fast enough. The energy wave hit the ground right next to where the scientists were and exploded on contact, some of the scientists getting caught in the explosion along with most of their equipment.
Gohan had to cover his eyes with his arms and back away a bit since the explosion was so powerful and since the light from it was so harsh, but once he looked back at where the explosion took place after the explosion faded away, there was a huge crater right next to where the scientists were. Most of the scientists were killed because of the explosion, and the others were injured pretty badly from it. Some of their equipment was completely destroyed, a few were too damaged to be used, and the others were damaged as well, but they were still in a good enough condition to function properly. Gohan stared at the large crater in the ground where the explosion occurred with wide eyes before looking up at Segira with a shocked look on his face. She just killed some scientists with that attack of hers! But her expression was emotionless as she stared at the crater without a hint of regret on her face.
She scoffed a bit and pulled her now clenched fist back in front of her as she glared down at the scientists far below. "Darn it, I missed them all." She growled to herself in irritation.
Gohan couldn't believe what he just heard from her. She was trying to kill them all!? "Please tell me that's someone else talking and not her." He thought to himself as he flew closer to her. "Segira, what do you think you were doing? You just killed some people down there!" He told her, not sure how she would react. He knew that the scientists had to be punished for experimenting on her for all those years, but killing them was uncalled for!
When she heard him say that, she paused for a moment before turning her head to look at him with a cold glare. "What am I doing? What does it look like I'm doing? I'm going to make sure that there's nothing left of these guys as payback for everything they've ever done to me!" She snapped at him, raising her voice a little. Well that definitely convinced Gohan that wasn't Segira talking at all. Before he could say or do anything, however, she opened her fist and a light blue energy ball formed in her hand. "In fact, I'm not even sure if I should let you live either."
His eyes widened and he immediately backed away from her, his hands up in front of him. "Hold on a minute, Segira, it's me, Gohan. I'm your friend, remember?"
She scoffed a bit. "Gohan? Never heard of you. And by the way…" she lifted her hand with the energy ball up. "I don't have any friends."
Right before she could attack him, however, he saw a missile zooming towards them from behind her and he quickly jumped out of the way. "Segira, behind you!" He yelled at her as he moved out of the way.
She looked at him with a lifted eyebrow in confusion, the energy ball in her hand disappearing. "Behind me…?" She looked over her shoulder to look behind her and see what he was warning her about. Once she saw the missile coming towards her, she immediately spun around and to the side just in time to dodge the missile as it flew right passed her face. But she wasn't fast enough to completely dodge it and part of the large missile passed by so close to her face that it had hit her and made a large, long cut on her cheek. She winced in pain and put her hand on the cheek that had the cut on it as blood dripped down to her chin as she growled loudly. "That's it! I am going to-" Segira started, she suddenly stopped when she felt something large and sharp pierce her upper back between her shoulder blades.
"Segira!" Gohan yelled when he saw a missile practically shoot a large, long serrated knife straight into Segira's upper back, and, judging by how little of the back of the knife was visible, it went in pretty deep. Segira winced in pain and reached up to her chest as she started to gasp for breath, her eyes wide, but she couldn't move very much without feeling a searing pain in her chest. But before Gohan could do anything, however, another missile that the scientists just fired headed straight towards Segira from behind her. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists tightly. "Oh no they don't!" He thought before diving down towards the missile, luckily he was close enough to get there this time, just in time to kick it away right before it could hit Segira or open up into a net. Instead of flying away like he had hoped, however, the missile suddenly exploded in a cloud of smoke and fire once his foot hit it, several small pieces of the missile flying in all directions and making a powerful shockwave that went in all directions. Gohan quickly jumped away once it exploded. "Crap, I didn't think it would explode!" He thought again. He suddenly heard Segira cry out loudly in pain from behind him and he immediately jerked his head around to look at her to see her gasping for breath again, only this time, she was having way more trouble getting air in her lungs. But that wasn't the only thing that was different, the front of her shirt, in the same spot where the knife had pierced her in the back only on her chest, had a red splotch on it that was slowly but surely getting bigger. His eyes widened when he saw that. "What the...?! How did that happen!?"
Her body suddenly went limp as she lost consciousness, and before Gohan knew it, Segira plummeted headfirst towards the ground. Once he saw her fall, he immediately dived down as fast as he could and flew up ahead of her to stop just below her just in time to catch her in his arms. But since she was falling so fast, she hit his arms really hard, making Gohan stumble forward, he wasn't the only one that affected by that though, Segira's face twisted in agony and she cried out in pain, but her eyes remained closed. Gohan looked down to see what was happening on the ground to see all the scientists that weren't too injured to move aimed several machines, only the ones that could still shoot missiles, at them. He tightened his grip around Segira's limp body and protectively held her close to him. He couldn't defend them both while holding Segira, but if he let her go, she would plummet to the ground and get injured much worse, or even die, and he couldn't put her down on the ground anywhere or else the scientists would get her.
"Guess I'll have to try to run again." He thought to himself as he looked around the area before picking a random direction.
He powered up before and immediately took off in that direction as fast as he could, but the scientists weren't about to let him get away so easily. A large missile suddenly shot up right in front of Gohan, startling him and making him quickly dive to the side, but that was only the first one. Several more missiles shot up all around Gohan and Segira, Gohan did his best to dodge them all, but with every sudden move he made, Segira winced and whimpered quietly in pain. But after a while, he suddenly stopped flying around when he realized something, all around them was a small circle of missiles that looked like they were ready to open up into nets.
His arms tensed around Segira's body again and he gritted his teeth as he looked around, but then he stopped when he heard a quiet, weak voice next to him. "G…Gohan…" Gohan blinked, startled a bit, and looked down at Segira, her eyes were just barely open and they looked kind of lifeless. She slowly looked up at him, her eyes still barely open. "I'm…sorry…Gohan…" She managed to say weakly before her eyes closed and her head hung.
Gohan's eyes widened and he immediately feared the worst. "Segira?!' He asked before looking around at the missiles surrounding them, starting to panic.
He knew that the nets and/or the missiles wouldn't hurt him at all, but they could hurt Segira in the state she was in, plus, they would both get caught in the nets and pulled to the ground. Before Gohan could think of what to do next, the missiles suddenly opened up and several metal nets came flying towards them.
A/N: Well that's even worse than what happened the last chapter...things aren't look too well, huh? Hopefully they somehow make it out of this...
