Chemistry-Deaf: Now Season 2 really begins! After this chapter, everything is going to be first person perspective of either Piccolo or Saxophone starting with the second half of this chapter.

Gohan came down very sleepily. "M-what's goin' on?" he asked as he rubbed his eye. The front door hadn't closed fully letting wind coming in. Piccolo wanted to do something but restrained himself. He glanced at Gohan not sure if he could say it again. Chi-Chi was surprised, and her mind started working.

"How did you know that?" she asked.

"He wasn't in the house. I already checked the Earth with my senses, and he was gone. I think he went outside to check something, but I don't remember," Piccolo replied as his hands shook.

Chi-Chi got up, led Piccolo to a chair and had him sit. Gohan closed the door before taking a seat himself. Once Piccolo took a deep breath, he explained what happened last night.

Piccolo never liked the idea of brushing his teeth before he meditates. When he's alone, he may or mostly may not brush, but with Saxophone, he had to. One nice thing about it was the flavor of the toothpaste. He already changed into night clothes which consist of his dark purple gi with red sash. The house was very simple with a kitchen, living room, storage, and fake bedrooms upstairs. They generally meditates in the living room with each other company. His father wore a black tank top, red sash, and purple pants like Piccolo's.

It was the middle of the night when Saxophone heard it. Someone stepped on something and yelped. Piccolo opened his eyes and saw him going out. "I'll be back," he said to him. Piccolo nodded and returned to his meditation. The rest were foggy, but he remembered a flash of light and felt some dark ki usage. He got out of meditation and was about to walk over when an object bounced into the room. It was knock out gas. He doesn't remember anything, not even hitting the floor. That's the position he woke up from.

Chi-Chi called Bluma about Piccolo's father being missing. Bluma responded that she would gather up Goku's friends and head over. Within the hour that took everyone to arrive minus a few warriors, Piccolo, Chi-Chi, and Gohan have moved outside. After greetings were given, a telegraphic message reached the group.

"I was going to inform you that Goku should be nearing the end of Snake Way. ... Uh? Why aren't you cheering?" the new voice said.

"We already know that Goku will arrive soon!" Bluma shouted. "We got something more important!"

"Important? What could be-"

"Saxophone is missing," Chi-Chi notified him. "Piccolo's father is missing."

"Piccolo? I heard a lot about him from Goku! Where is-"

"Shut up!" Piccolo shouted. "Who the hell are you?!"

"Eh? Oh, there you are, Piccolo. I'm King Kai."

"Hey, King Kai," Krillin interrupted. "Could you help us out?"

"What are you going for, Krillin?" Bluma asked.

"I talked to him a few times when I was up at Kami's Lookout. I do know that he can find certain people in space as long as they didn't leave Northern Quadrant which is where Earth resides. If Saxophone is in space, he can find him for us!" While everyone else was shocked to hear that, Piccolo eyes gleamed hopefully.

"Saxophone, huh?" King Kai said in thought. "This will take me a while to rake through the area starting from Earth. If what I sensed from Piccolo is correct, it may be difficult to pinpoint him exactly, but I could see if I find a ship flying from Earth and see it's destination. I will contact you when I find out." The telegraphic connection was broken.

Piccolo thought not knowing where Saxophone was was nerve-wracking, he got a something else coming. The possibility of finding him or not was driving him insane. He couldn't focus on the conversation going around him. Gohan was the first to react to his distress. He jumped on Piccolo's lap and hugged him tightly. The weight startled Piccolo, and it took him several seconds to figure out what happened. Touched by the action, he returned the gesture.

The silence sounded loud to his sensitive ears and noticed their stares. In a normal situation, he would have felt uncomfortable, but instead, he felt warmth. "Thank you," he told Gohan softly.

Gohan released him and gave him a big smile, "Anytime, Piccolo!"

Piccolo heard Bluma and Launch going aw while Chi-Chi looked surprised and unsure. Launch walked up to her to ask her if she could use the kitchen. Given permission, Launch walked right inside. Bluma was wishing she had a camera with her. The only guy there was Krillin, and he felt slightly unsure how to handle the situation. As the only awkward person, he put a brave front. He walked up and said, "I'm sorry to hear about your father missing, but I know King Kai can find him."

"I'm sure he can," Piccolo replied. "I hope it's soon."

As they waited, Chi-Chi helped out Launch with whatever cooking project they had going. Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha arrived since King Kai sent them. They along with Krillin have trained under Kami during some portion of the year. Once the delicious hot snacks came, Bluma started the conversation about her findings.

"I'm sure you remember the pod that space alien came in, right? My dad and I were working hard on it and found out many cool things that would improve our space flight! My dad also came up with gravity chamber to help improve your training. If there's any need for training while in space, we can make a decent ship! So, we are already working on a blueprint. If it's just Piccolo and Goku going, we can make one gravity chamber for both of you. If the others want to join, I believe we can make two gravity chambers. The problem with it is that it won't go as fast as the ship with one gravity chamber." Bluma was about to go on when another voice showed up.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt," King Kai said telegraphically, "but I found Saxophone! He's on a space craft full of Akaiario-Chika. They are heading to Namek. Lastly, I can feel that he's fine which is better than what I could say about Namek."

I groaned. My head felt like thousands of needles trying to penetrate. The rest of me was sore, but I couldn't feel it. Opening my eyes hurt not from the light, there's lack of it, but from the act of it. Once the needles slowly fade, I managed to open my heavy lidded eyes. The ceiling was a blank grey. I turned my head over slowly and saw dark colored walls. Sitting up was a task in itself. My head buzzed with pain, and my body protested. I leaned on the wall beside my bed and glanced around.

My eyes caught a table. On top of it was a glass and a pitcher of water. Seeing it caused me to go thirsty, and I drank straight from the pitcher. I sighed in relief and set the empty pitcher down shakily. I caught sight of my arms and saw the black lines. No purple meant that either they're all flowing in my body or reached some sort of equilibrium. It would definitely explain the needles; they're trying to fix up my body again. I took a calming breath and slipped into meditation. I hadn't eaten in who knows how long, and the water didn't have enough substance to finish the work. This would take longer to seal, but I managed.

The needles slowly changed to a dull ache. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the room more clearly. I wasn't confident with my strength when I tried to get off the bed. Using the table to keep my balance, I happened to glance down. I was wearing pants with my sash. I don't remember taking my shirt off. It was then my memories from last night or that night came to me. I had left the house to check the noise when he got ambushed. I vaguely remembered the aliens that ambushed me, but I was knocked unconscious before I identified them. The next thing that worried me was the possibility of Piccolo being captured as well.

I attempted to calm myself before doing a wide scan of whatever I'm on. I didn't sense Piccolo's ki signatures of either ki. I somehow managed to convinced myself that he may not be on board.

The door opened, and a red skin alien with blue bio-gems and clothed in light grey outlined by purple metallic rods entered. He recognized this to be a female in late teens. Her tail switched around nervously as she walked in the room. "Ir, konsha besi Namek? Ga, jen din lisqui?" she asked. To me, she said, "Er, do you speak Namek? Or, your preferred language?"

"I have no knowledge of how to speak Namek," I replied in her native language. She blinked in surprise.

"What do you speak? How did you know ours?"

"Recently, I spoke English. I have known your language for far longer." It's slightly ancient way of speaking for me though.

She let out a phew. "This shouldn't cause much trouble. I heard you're awake and came to check on you. Is there anything you need?"

"Some food would be nice."

She looked confused. "I thought Namekians only drink water."

"Normal Namekians. Earth is not that rich when it comes to water. There's plenty of water but far too diluted to be enough. And, I'm used to eating."

"Oh, what food do you want?"

"Something with nuts and berries, please."

"I will get it for you." With that she left. I sat on the bed wondering what to do. Before I come up with something, the door opened. My first thought was that was fast until I saw who it was. This time it was a male red alien. He had a brownish orange cloth with metallic grey rods and looked to be about 25.

"Arjonii notified me about your awakening. I am Forjin, your caretaker for this trip."

"A trip to where?"

"Namek."

"Why have you taken me?"

He did not answer immediately and stood in thought. "Because you don't belong on Earth."

"Oh, I see." I was a bit astounded. They thought I was Piccolo or child of one. This was not good. "And the other Namekians?"

"They're fine. You're the first we found in other worlds." The door opened and the female returned. She stumbled in the room barely managed to keep the food on the tray. "Ah, Arjonii. She's my assistance."

She looked confused a minute before realizing something, "Ah! I forgot to introduce myself!"

"We seem to make the same mistake," I replied. "I am Saxophone. So, there's no way I would be able to convince you to allow me to go back to Earth?"

"I am not returning you," Forjin confirmed in a serious and dangerous tone.

I sighed. What happened on Namek that made them more possessive? "Thanks for the food." Arjonii realized that she was holding the tray and quickly brought them over. "Am I going to be wearing pants all day?" I asked as I eat.

"No, once you're done, we're taking you to our tailor."

This will be a long trip.
