I WAS WRITING MY OTHER STORY, BUT THEN I WAS LIKE "I WANT TO DO THIS ONE" SO YEAH...

PETERS POV

All of us agreed to go to the Abnegation sector, that's where most of the Dauntless were.

We got there and we were approached by Uriah, but Four waved him off. Four led the way to a house. As we got closer, I saw people in gray milling around, talking and even laughing.

When we got to the house, Four stepped through the threshold with the flash of a pained look on his face.

I saw a bunch of Dauntless and Factionless holed up together, talking in soft voices. With horror I realized that Edward could be around here. Who knows what he would do to me. I shook my head and banished the thought.

I sat down, lea nine my back on a wall and looked around. I realized that I wasn't acquainted with anyone there. I felt an ache in my heart when I thought of Isobel. I had a feeling, though, that she hand' been caught at Erudite. She'd lain low after getting there. I was pretty sure that Stella wasn't as lucky. She had made it very clear that she was against Jeanine. Caleb, Sunny, Luke and Daniel were probably fine. They were more passive aggressive towards Jeanine.

"Hello," a voice snapped me out of my thoughts. A blond girl with a tight bun who looked around my age was standing over me.

"Hi," I said, trying to keep the annoyance out of my voice. I didn't really want to socialize right then.

"What's your name?" she asked.

I stood up. "Peter, and what's your name?" I asked her, trying to be as polite as I could.

"Susan," she said. Her voice was very soft and he body was contracted. I realized that she didn't actually want to talk either. She must have seen me alone and came over to me because of how Abnegation taught people to be polite and all that.

"Susan," I repeated. I said and stuck out my hand to her. The she didn't return the gesture, she just nodded her head towards me. I pulled my hand back and did the same. I remembered how Abnegation didn't like physical contact.

We made small talk or a while like Abnegation did. I realized that I saw her in Amity before I got caught by Erudite.

After a while, Susan got called away and I was alone again. I wished that I had a book

I was alone with m thoughts except for when we ate. After dinner, I lay down and went into a fitful sleep.

xXx

Someone shook me awake and then left. I looked at my watch. 7:00 a.m. It was almost strange not being woken up at 3 a.m. for some duty of Jeanine's.

I went downstairs and ate some eggs. I got up and was about to leave the room and eat elsewhere when a woman walked over to me.

"Hello," she said. It sounded like she was forcing her voice to come out in a nice tone.

"Um... Hi?" I replied, unsurely.

"I'm Evelyn. And You're Peter right?" she stopped, so I nodded my head. Evelyn started talking about how I should join the Factionless. She somehow made it sound very enticing, but, I'd heard how it was. How there were rats everywhere and it smelled horrible.

I heard the door open and looked over to see who it was. My heart stopped and my stomach dropped. It was Edward.

I tried to slink into the shadow of the door, but he'd already seen me.

He strode over to me and drew his fist back like he was going to punch me. I snapped my head back, but I hit the wall. Edward grinned and some Factionless snicker.

"Not so brave in broad daylight," Edward said. And then, to Evelyn, "Make sure you don't give him any utensils. Never know what he might do with them."

As he talked, he plucked the fork I was holding from my hand hand.

"Give that back," I said, trying to keep the squeak out of my voice.

Edward slammed his hand against my throat and pressed the fork to my throat. I'm screwed. So screwed...

"Keep your mouth shut around me," he said, his voice low, "or I will do this again, only next time, I'll shove it right through your esophagus."

"That's enough," Evelyn said. He let go of me and I let out a sigh of relief, then ran out of the room.
