Unfaithful

Chapter 25: Reveal

Deft fingers grasped tightly onto the white sheets as hot, sultry kisses trailed down her body. With legs widened, she gasped, feeling her lover explore the depths of her treasure. Her back arched and her body quivered as the wet muscle continuously probed her. She cursed blissfully as he nibbled on her clitoris before licking on her folds. When she climaxed, her lover did not hesitate to drink all of her essence. Undoubtedly, she will indeed return the favor.

Before her lover knew it, he was now on his back with his lover straddling on top. They've been going at it for hours, fighting for dominance. Normally, her lover would be the one in control, but tonight, she was taking charge. Her body glistened with sweat and the bedroom was scented with sex. The sheets were disheveled and so was her lover's strawberry-blonde hair. She leaned over, sucking on his ear lobes innately making her lover moan. She straddled him softly, her pussy smoothly gliding over his already hardened cock.

"How bad do you want this?" She teased him.

"Don't make me beg." He pleaded, squeezing her buttocks.

"Oh darling, it's not begging if you're simply telling me."

He smirked. "I can show you better than I can tell you."

Her lips pulled into a wicked grin. "I can do it better."

Without warning, she descended down onto her lover's cock, prompting him to moan her name. "Goddamn it! Meiling! Fuck!" He breathed out.

Her back arched and breasts bouncing wildly as her hips excitedly met with his. "Oh Liam! Oh God!" She moaned.

After a long day at work, Meiling was in the mood for a mind-blowing, drunk-in-love romping. Since their engagement and the company affairs, the couple hardly found the time to make love. Usually sex was wild and spontaneous, but with the stress of work, Meiling opted for the more traditional approach—the bedroom. Of course, Liam wouldn't say no to it.

Meiling's neatly styled hair was a curled mess. Before she knew it, she was on her knees with her head pulled slightly back as Liam thrust his pelvis against her buttocks. Her eyes glazed with lust as she continuously moaned his name a hundred times over. Finally, she was on her back and her lover hovered over her. Milky, toned legs rested on his shoulders while Liam continuously pound against her vaginal walls. Her warmth constricted him, so much so, that he found himself coming undone with no warning. His lover soon followed suit.

With the crescent moon casting an ethereal glow through their balcony window, the lovers finally rested, huddled together in the darkness. The only sound accompanying the silence was Liam's breathing.

Laying her head on his chest, Meiling planted a small kiss on his chest. "That was amazing babe. I needed that." She said. Liam grinned.

"We were long overdue." Liam laughed. He then rolled on top of her, planting sweet, salacious kisses all over her neck. "Care for a round two, my love?"

Gently, Meiling pushed him off and proceeded to get up with the sheets wrapped around her naked body. "As much as I want to," She began, kissing him softly on his lips, "I have work in the morning."

Liam pouted. "That's no fun." He sighed dejectedly. "You know, since you became company president, you hardly have time for me anymore."

This was not the type of complaint Meiling was willing to hear after a good romping. "You know how important this buyout is, Liam."

"I'm aware of that." He countered. "I'm just saying you should try to provide some balance. Your life can't be all about work, right? We still have a wedding to plan and that's just as important too."

"With everything going on, a wedding is the last thing I'm worried about right now."

"Meiling, the wedding is months away. We haven't even established a proper venue for the ceremony, let alone the reception. Time is running out."

"And we will cross that bridge when we get there. Why are we even having this conversation?"

Liam was taken aback at Meiling's blatant disregard of their impending event. The wedding was only seven months away and his fiancé haven't been much of an active participant in it. "Are you even listening to yourself, right now? It's like you don't even care!"

Meiling felt her mouth drop at Liam's accusation. "I do! But you're making something trivial into a big deal!"

"So our wedding is trivial to you now?"

"That's not what I meant and you know it!" Meiling cried. She sighed heavily. How was it possible to engage into an argument after having such mind-blowing sex? "I want to marry you, but I also have other priorities that I can't just ignore. Can't you understand?"

"Did you forget that I also run a company too? Yeah, it's not as big as yours and yeah, it gets pretty busy from the shitload of clients I tend to daily, but I still learn to make time for us. You're allowing your work life and everything else distract you from what's really important."

Meiling pinched the bridge of her nose, gritting her teeth before exploding into bouts of frustration. She always known Liam to be independent, going about on his own endeavors, and for the most part, Meiling was fine with it. She didn't think he'd be so suffocating. Even though she should be focusing on her wedding, a part of her knew Liam was right. There should be some type of balance, but if Liam was in her shoes, he'd be more understanding. It's not easy, managing a multibillion dollar company with employees who are three times her age, with much more experience and wisdom than her, and are more times capable of running the damned place than she. It's also not easy being the only child in an influential, powerful family with no magical abilities and working twice as hard as her magical contemporaries to prove worthy. Liam had a normal life where he wasn't surrounded by such pressures. It was her cultural norm.

On top of work life is dealing with her cousin's messes. Although Meiling could have easily washed her hands clean from the entire situation, doing so would be dishonorable to the Li family. Her unwavering support is what Syaoran needed right now, but keeping up a façade was too exhausting. Liam, of course, steered clear of the situation entirely and opted to hear little of it as much as possible, but remained supportive nonetheless. Now that Meiling had more time to ponder on her current dilemma, it seems as though she was getting too distracted. She sighed, crossing her arms with an expectant look.

"In other words, you want me to spend more time with you. Is that what you really want?" Meiling asked.

Liam sighed. His wife-to-be still wasn't getting it, but he was willing to take her answer for now. "That would be nice. If we plan on spending the rest of our lives together, now would be the time to start compromising."

Meiling nodded in agreement. "The buyout will be over soon. We're still going over negotiations and all. When that's done, I promise we can focus more on the wedding and us. Is that a deal?"

Liam smiled. He stood up out of the bed, in all his naked glory and walked over to his wife-to-be, embracing her in his lean and toned arms. Meiling felt her cheeks reddened slightly, including his nearly hardening cock poking at her stomach. "It's a deal."

She looked up at her British fiancée. He lips then pulled into a goofy smile. "Wow that fighting took a lot out of me. You definitely owe me a round two."

Meiling laughed as Liam planted kisses all over her neck. "After the meeting tomorrow, I'll allow you to have your way with me in any way you like." Meiling lightly kissed Liam on his lips before departing to the restroom.

Laying back down on the bed, Liam shouted, "I'll hold you to it!"

~~~ooo~~~
It was past midnight and Syaoran realized sleep will evade him for at least three hours. Paper stacked on his desk like erected towers while typing furiously on his computer. Just a few more details to be sorted out and the company would be his for sure. It was the perfect distraction. Syaoran as a businessman was an extremely focused man, bent on perfection and calculation. Even with Li-Na quietly entering his office, clad in a sexy, silky robe with a cup of tea in her hands, Syaoran paid little attention.
His concentration broke when the sound of the tea plate landed on his desk with a clink. He glanced at his clock. It was 12:15.
"Oh thanks. I didn't know you're still awake." Syaoran said, stretching his arms above his head. "Should you be getting some sleep?"
"It's just one of those nights I suppose." Li-Na replied, sitting opposite of Syaoran. Her legs were crossed demurely with her back sitting upright.
"I see." Syaoran said, returning back to his speedy typing. "I won't be that much company to you. I have a lot of work to do."
"That's fine." Li-Na told him. "Perhaps I can help. It might make some of the load a bit easier."
Syaoran initially hesitated. Normally, he'd do all the work himself, but with so many reports to give to the board and contracts to look over, nothing will ever be done in time. He sighed to himself, silently resenting the fact that help was what he needed right now. Briefly, he stopped and gave Li-Na a stack of contracts to look over.
"These are just some of the company accounts." Syaoran said. "I need them to be organized so it can be a bit easier to look through when I get to them. You think you can handle it?"
"It shouldn't be. They're pretty much self-explanatory."
"Thanks a lot." Syaoran smiled. "You have no idea how much time you just saved me."
Li-Na smiled back. "It's not a problem."
The two engaged in a comfortable silence, only accompanied by the shuffling of papers and the tapping of the keyboards. When Li-Na was on her second stack, she then asked, "How are you holding up?"
Syaoran knew exactly what she was referring to. "I'm fine." He admitted. "I should be asking you the same thing."
"I've had better days." She replied, sighing. "You know, Aiko asked about his real mother yesterday. We were at a park and he saw many of the children playing with their mothers. He asked me if his mother was in heaven."
That immediately grabbed Syaoran's attention. The typing came to an immediate halt. "And what did you say to him?" He asked with an intense curiosity.
"I told him that she's alive and well." She answered, exhaling deeply. "He then asked me if she was alive, why she hasn't come to visit yet. He even asked if his mother still wanted him. Do you realize how much that hurt me to not tell him the truth? How much longer are you going to keep stalling? Aiko wants a mother, Xiao Lang. He wants his mother!"
Li-Na had to fight the tears from forming in her eyes. "I will when the time is right." He muttered.
"And when will that be? Xiao Lang, you've been stalling too long! Don't do that to your son!"
"Just weeks ago, you were adamant about my son not knowing who his birth mother is!" Syaoran countered. "And now you've changed your mind all of the sudden. Why change?"
"Because I want Aiko to be happy!" She shouted. She couldn't stop the tears from flowing down her cheeks. Syaoran felt the sting in his chest seeing Li-Na in her most vulnerable state. "Aiko is an innocent boy. He doesn't deserve these lies. I love Aiko as if he's my own child and I want him to have the best of everything! If he wants to know who his birth mother is, then he has the right to know. You need to tell him, Xiao Lang. Do it for him if not for anyone else!"
Her shoulders quivered as Syaoran's head lowered with shame. He immediately stood up and walked over to her, pulling Li-Na into a tight embrace. Li-Na's eyes widened. In the five years she has known Syaoran, he had never been this affectionate. It was so unexpected, so shocking, yet exhilarating all the same. A part of Li-Na wanted to hold on for a long as she could. Who knows when she'll ever be basked in his affections again?
"Doing that will cause you too much pain. I can't stand to see you like this. I…I…" Syaoran hesitated before taking deep breaths. "I care too much about you. This is affecting you too, much more than I realize."
"I just want you to do right by Aiko." She softly replied.
"I want to do right with you too." He said.
"But you have to choose."
"I know." He said bitterly. "I'm so sorry, Li-Na. I'm so sorry for putting you through this. You don't deserve any of this."
"Xiao Lang…"
The two remained embraced in each other's arms, completely forgetting about the computer and the stack of papers on the office desk.
~~~ooo~~~

As daybreak arrived and the sun rose over the horizon, Syaoran was still awake. Routinely, he was sitting on the bamboo-wooden floors, crossed legs. His eyes closed in deep concentration, momentarily suspending the rigorous day that lies before him. Today would be official day the Li Financial Group makes a historical impact on their latest buyout, making them even more powerful than before. The victory was just at the tip of his fingers and he can grasp it. He was ready to take on asinine old men and their rigid traditions, slightly incompetent employees, and a perfectionist assistant. Nothing was going to hold him back from achieving his ultimate goal.

His reverie was soon broken when he heard the sound of tiny footsteps entering his meditation chambers. Syaoran didn't need to open his eyes to know it was Aiko. He sat down crossed leg before his father, mimicking his facial expressions and making "um" sounds. With one eye opened, Syaoran donned a confused expression. "What are you doing?" He asked

"I'm meditating just like you, Daddy." Aiko said, tilting his head in a way that was reminiscent of his mother.

Syaoran chuckled inwardly. "Well, real men don't say uuuummmm."

"That's what they do in the movies."

Syaoran couldn't fight the smile off his face. "Son, I've told you many times that the things you see movies are not real."

Aiko reciprocated the smile innocently. "I know, but it looks fun."

Syaoran lightly chuckled and allowed his son to continue his own methods of meditation. Between bustling through the family businesses and heading the Li Clan, spending time with his son was such a rarity nowadays. He pondered on his conversation with Li-Na and realized how right she was. Aiko is the only purity in a world shrouded in darkness. Those large hazelnut orbs glowered with such innocence with a smile that could light a thousand rooms. How could Syaoran deny his son such rights?

He breathed deeply and then said to him, "Aiko. There is something I need to tell you."

Aiko looked up, curiosity fills his inquisitive look. "Yeah?" He asked back.

"Do you remember that lady that stopped by the house some time ago?"

Aiko vigorously nodded his head. "How could I forget? She was the prettiest lady ever!"

Syaoran smiled. His son indeed definitely had his mother's heart. "Well, that pretty lady you saw one time is your mother. And her name is Sakura."

Author's Note: I wonder how things will turn out this time now that Aiko knows about his mother? Hello you guys, this is Avina-Bell Rose here with an update! Cherry B. is a little unavailable for a moment. She apologizes again for another short chapter. We promise it will get better! In the previous chapter, Cherry B. and I have mentioned that there will be a focus on other characters and their personal stories because it all ties together when you get to the end of the story. Also, you get to see how others are affected by what Sakura is going through, especially Meiling's relationship with Liam (We pray no one reports us for it being graphic the way it is). I don't want to give too much away, but just wait and see!

Now it's time for review shout outs!

mrs. Zala – Thank you for your awesome review! That moment will come eventually! Patience, my love, patience!

yingfa07 – Since when is Sakura NOT stubborn? Lol! That's just a part of who she is! She'll come around eventually! I hope you enjoyed this chapter!

Anony – Oh you have seen nothing yet! Thanks for reviewing!

chasingleaves – I'm so glad you love the story! Cherry B. and I really appreciate it! We hope you like this chapter as well. Also, we hope you don't "stop" reading fanfics! I'm 27-years-old and I still read CCS fanfics to this day! I guess that part of me will never grow up!

TheLadyBurgundy – So what do you think of this one? Sorry, no OTP love yet, but Sakura & Syaoran will reunite once again eventually. We ask that you be patient! Lol

ilovesyaoranforever – One of our favorite reviewers! Thank you!

Cami – We appreciate your review and I don't think that Tomoyo or the others are dismissing easily what happened to her. Also, you have to understand that Tomoyo's kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. She wanted to tell Sakura so bad about the truth of her child, but she was bound by honor not to. She's really close to Sakura and Syaoran and deeply cares about them. It's not that she's not easily dismissing the situation. In fact, she feels very guilty and she really wants Sakura to be happy, even if she hates Kenji.

Liz – The vulnerable Sakura is not my forte either, but for the purpose of this story, she has to be. She'll get her strength back. Sooner or later.

ana – Thank you for your critique. It is reviews like yours that make us want to better the story. If there is anyone to blame, it is Fujitaka's fault because he told Syaoran, early in the story in a flashback, to not tell Sakura and to keep the child. Why? There are a number of reasons why and you will get to see Fujitaka eventually explain it. Trust me, if Sakura's loved ones could tell her, they would have already. That's why it's so forced because the parents are the ones who interfered and directly and indirectly set off a lot chain of events. I hope that explains it for ya!

angelwarriorXOXO – Thanks so much! Please keep reviewing!

Ai Star – Oh it was definitely the calm before the storm, but like I told another reviewer, you've seen nothing yet!

cherryblossoming – This is the first story that Cherry B. written that has some realism in it. I've just helped glossed over some things to make it magical because it's CCS. Thanks for your lovely review! We try to convey the message that no world is perfect, even in a world of our favorite show.

Khiyo Gizele – Thank you for wonderful insight! I can't wait for you to give us your opinion on what you think of this new chapter!

Guest – You certainly are welcome! We hope you like this one too!

StarElsie – You don't like Li-Na? Why not? I think she's absolutely sweet and loving! She's not after Syaoran in any negative way and wants best for him and Aiko, especially Aiko! I understand you want the OTP, (me too, trust me!) but patience is virtue! It will happen eventually, but our beloved characters must reach the light at the end of the tunnel first! I can't tell you if there will be a guaranteed happy ending or not. Just see for yourself.

We really encourage your reviews, especially the lengthy ones! We want to know what you really think! Critiques gives us better insights and we try to follow on those critiques, so CherryB and I can make it better for you. Remember, she's the writer and I'm the editor, so al credit goes to her (I'm just really awesome at editing)! You know the rules when it comes to reviewing. If you want to be featured on the shout out list, all you have to do is simply review! Until then, see you guys next time!
