Finn POV
I woke up from the cold breeze hitting my skin, I opened my eyes and I saw Shoko and Flame Princess embracing me from both sides while sleeping. "Last night was awesome, I've never seen you two lively like that". I kissed the both lightly on the lips and I snuck my way out of bed, "Nnnhh, Finn you're so good". I was surprised, I looked back and it was Flame princess she was talking in her sleep. I can't help but smile seeing the two beautiful women in my life, another cold breeze reminded me of my situation. I quickly went back to picking up my clothes, I was still a little drowsy so I didn't pay attention to what I was picking from the floor. I touched something and I put it up to my face, when I saw it was Shoko's my eyes widened and I tossed it on the bed. "Sorry about that".
I finished putting on my clothes and I fixed up some stuff inside the room, I went down to the living room and I scanned the place, "Oh yeah, Jake went to lady's place yesterday". I recalled when Jake said that he'll leave us for the day, Flame princess and Shoko's eyes were both sparkling with anticipation. I removed yesterday from my head and I went to the kitchen to prepare a ham sandwich, I took out the ingredients from the fridge and I quickly ate breakfast. "Hmmm, I should train while their still sleeping". I stood up and I wrote a note, I placed it on the table, I grabbed my sword and gun and I went out of the tree house. I savored the view of the sunrise before preparing for my training.
I picked up my sword and I holstered my gun on my waist, I made some enemies using my earth powers and I gave manipulated it with patterns of a moving enemy. While training I was thinking about the new enemy Death was talking about, what could be very evil that even the Lich despises it. "I just wish I can get out of it alive". I continued fighting with the earth beings, I used some combinations with my sword and my gun so that I can transition between them seamlessly. I took some time but I downed one of the last of the enemies, I sat back on the grass and I rested for a bit. After gathering back my strength I back up and I prepared for another round, but then I was stopped when I heard a warping noise.
I turned back and I looked left and right to see if anyone was there, "Maybe I should rest more"? I turned back and I saw a man wearing a black suit and a green tie, he had an emotionless expression I his face while his hands were crossed. He looked human and his most prominent feature was his eyes, the irises were green. I slowly walked toward him while holding on my weapons, "Who are you, are you my enemy"? "No, I'm just here to give you advice". I stuck my sword on the ground and I asked, "Are you human"? The man rubbed his chin and he said, "I was, and I'm here to tell you that don't rely on your fire power to much. Practicing on your elements is futile and may not help you in the future".
I became interested on what he will say so I said, "Would you explain why"? "You can't light a fire in a vacuum Finn, you can only use water and earth when you need it". I can't get what he was saying, but he explained thoroughly when he saw my confused expression. "You will fight the evil in space Finn, you need to stop them before even reaching earth. If they arrive here, everything will be destroyed right before your own eyes". "Why do you know this stuff are you one of them, if so I can put you down right here, right now"! I ran toward him and I tried to swing my sword towards him but the blade went through him. I stepped back and he said, "Finn I'm not your enemy, but I can't tell you any more information".
"Then what do you suggest I do"? I asked him, he smiles and said, "Throw a fire ball towards me, the bigger the better". I nodded at him and I made a fireball as tall as I am, I launched it towards him and he caught it. "Whoa, that's awesome" I said. The man closed his eyes and the fireball started to shrink, and the color was changing to green. After a few seconds the fireball became only as big as a basketball and it was glowing green, the man held it out and he said, "Finn this is the physical manifestation of nature energy, picture it in your mind when you try and convert elements back to it. That's all I can say for now, it's up to you and trust me you'll be needing it". He pushed the ball to my body and I felt the energy rushing back to me, he then walked away and disappeared. "I don't know your name, but thank you".
Third Person View
Princess Bubblegum finished tending to her candy citizens; she stretched her back and relaxed on her throne. "Hi princess do you have anywhere to go today"? Adam asks while walking inside the throne room. "Oh now that you mentioned, I planned on going to the tree house today for some research". "About what"? Adam asks. "The weapons Shoko and Finn used when they fought the lich". The princess went to her lab and Adam went with her, the two aren't dating but Adam can feel that Princess Bubblegum is slowly warming up to him. "Can I come with you"? Adam asked. Princess Bubblegum packed her stuff and she looked at Adam. "Sure you can, but don't leave when you get bored okay"?
Adam was smiling while seeing the princess' attempts at maintaining her authoritative tone. "Being a man from a different time makes everything around me very interesting". Both of them walked outside and they travelled using a car. "You have one of these to huh"? Adam asked. "Jake gave me a couple of different plans for a car when he pitched it to me, I choose what I liked and made my own". The ride continued in silence, Halfway towards their destination Adam decides to ask her. "I heard from Finn that you two had a past together". "Don't mind that, like you said it was the past. Besides I treat Finn like one of my citizens, are you getting jealous of Finn" She asked jokingly. "No, Finn is contented with Shoko and Aiden's granddaughter".
Bubblegum giggled and Adam hid his blush, "We'll see if you're right Adam". The Princess parked her car twenty feet away from the tree house and they walked towards the house, the first one they saw was Finn, He was concentrated with the training Clay gave him. Adam noticed it and stopped bubblegum from disturbing him, "Princess let's find Shoko instead, I think Finn is busy". Bubblegum looked at Finn and she finally noticed it too. "You're right, let's enter the house. He wouldn't mind it". "Are you sure, Finn might be sensitive when it comes to his place". The princess held Adam's shoulders and she said, "Finn is more open that you think Adam, I let myself in here every time I take their taxes".
Adam gives up and went along with her without saying hi to Finn. They stopped at the treasure room and bonnibel called shoko, "Shoko, Are you here"? Shoko and Flame princess were both awake, they were drinking coffee. She heard the princess and she said, "Up here Princess, come up". The two went up and they were surprised with what they saw. Shoko and Flame princess were on their nightgown which appeared wrinkled and both of them looked radiant, Bonnibel covered Adam's eyes and she gave the two pink jackets. "You two cover yourself with these while we talk". They wore it and then she removed her hands from Adam's face. "Why don't we have a seat"? Shoko told them.
They were about to start their conversation when Finn entered the house, "Hi guys, I didn't see you arriving"? "You were busy Finn". Bonnibel reasoned, Finn sat beside his two lovers and Bubblegum began, "Can I see your weapons Finn"? Finn places it on top of the table and she inspects it. "Where's yours Shoko". The princess asked. "Oh it's upstairs by the bed". "Would you get it Adam"? He nods and stood up but Shoko and flame princess stops him. "Wait Finn will do it, besides the room is a bit messy". Finn proceeds to get Shoko's equipment, Adam then leaned towards Princess Bubblegum and he said, "I told you Finn is contented". Bonnibel gave him an elbow to his guts.
Finn got back from upstairs and he also placed Shoko's knife and gun on the table. "The quality of the work is consistent, did Betty made both of these for you two"? They both nodded. "Yeah but the metal came from Adam I think". Finn added. Bonnibel looked at Adam waiting for answers, "What"? Adam asks. "Didn't even bothered to tell me huh"? "Well you never asked me". Bonnibel sighed and she said, "Well you and I are stuck with each other for three whole weeks". Finn caught Adam's attention and gave him a thumbs-up. "Thank you for showing these to me, we'll be going back to the kingdom now that I have the source. You three keep it safe okay"? Adam was holding his laugh in while Finn and the two girls are hiding their embarrassed faces.
Simon POV
In front of us was death, he wants to talk to us and he has a serious look on his face. "Well, are you two going to stand there the whole time"? Betty and I looked at each other with worry in our faces, we sat on out couch and Death followed. we waited for Death to speak and he said, "I think you should stop whatever you are doing right now, I can clearly hear the noise here in the dead world". I stood up and I rushed to the secret room, I stopped the machines and I turned off the main switch. I got back at the living room and Betty signaled me to sit beside her, "I'm a bit nervous Simon". "Don't be, nothing serious happened recently. Death might be exaggerating a bit".
"Are you two okay, you guys look nervous. Calm down it's not the end of the world". We sighed and Betty said, "What is it anyway? Scaring us and all, we thought something bad happened". "What? No I'm just here because I got a leeway on my schedule. Remember what we talked about back before we sent back Finn here"? My eyes widened when I remembered that particular conversation, I looked at Betty and her face was full of happiness with the news. Death nodded and he said, "That's right you two, the time I told may have passed but now you two can plan for your wedding. Think about it and the rest will be handled by me, think of it as a gift from Glob to you two".
Betty and I embraced each other, she cried tears of joy. I wiped it for her and I asked, "Where do you want us to get married". "How about Death's house, it's the closest we can have that has a human touch". We looked at death and he nodded to signal his agreement. "I will be available again after five months, you two prepare all you need and we'll hold your wedding when I get my leave". "Oh right we need to invite our friends". "It's better if anyone can come, as long as they have someone they know that's invited". Betty was getting excited with planning; she already has her ideas for our wedding. The best I can do is support her on preparing for her dream wedding.
"Well you two have fun with the time I gave you; don't let your work spoil your wedding okay"? Both of us nodded and Death's hologram faded. Betty stood up and walked to the opening of the castle, "Are you okay Betty, are things going too fast for you"? "No Simon, I'm okay with the schedule death gave us". I joined her and I hugged her on her back, I wrapped my hands on her shoulders and I leaned my head closer to hers. "I'm so happy, after waiting for centuries we can finally have our wedding". "The way you talk makes me feel old". I said jokingly. We laughed and they stared at each other, we shared a short kiss and then I said, "We should finish our work quick". "But Death said"... "Yeah that's why we need to finish it quickly". Betty nods and we back to work.
After finishing the temperature regulator we called Jake to deliver it to the slime kingdom, "Okay, Jake be careful with the machine and also tell the other kingdoms that we won't be taking any jobs for now". I said, "Sure guys, but can I ask why". "Because we're finally getting married, tell that to the others okay, you can bring some of your friends too". Betty replied, Jake smiled while nodding and he picked up the package. "Congratulations to you two, I hope your wedding is awesome"! "It will be Jake, remember the message to the kingdoms okay"? Jake gave a thumbs-up and he became huge and he carried the machine on his back. "It's time to plan for our wedding now". Betty said.
We set up a table and Betty placed a list, "the venue is clear and I know where to find a dress and the flowers". "What about the rings"? I asked. "We can ask Adam to make it; we just need to give him the material". We took three weeks ironing out the details, after that we went to the house and practiced our wedding. Jake and the others agreed to hold the practice with us; Jake then volunteered to cook the food for our reception, he gave us some samples and we selected the ones we want. "Why don't we order a cake from the candy kingdom"? Betty asked. I agreed with her and she went to princess bubblegum to ask about it, the wedding is fast approaching and the elements are falling in place.
Betty POV (After two months)
"Okay, position the arch here and place the cloth around it". Simon said. He was in-charge with decorating the venue. I watched it for a second before I went to Flame princess, Shoko and Princess bubblegum and I told the three of them, "Can you guys help me gather the flowers"? The three of them nods and we went to the candy kingdom first, I gave them a list of what and how many flowers we need. "Is it okay to pick flowers here"? I asked. "Don't mind it Betty, you are our friend". Princess bubblegum said. After finishing there we placed it in a cold storage and we went to the fire kingdom, Maya saw us and she joined in. After gathering all the flowers we had a magician enchant it so it won't wither.
"So betty what will we write on the invitations"? Simon asked. I scanned through the templates we have and I choose the best one, "We just need to invite the royalty, write down that they can bring citizens from their kingdom to attend with them". Simon then thought about the message and we placed a map to show where the wedding will take place, we made multiple copies of the invitation for each kingdom. "Well better call Jake again". We let Jake handle the distribution, and then we gave their invitation for the wedding. "Simon did a good job with the venue Betty, when you see it you'll be amazed". Jake said. Simon smiled while scratching the back of his head. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he blushed hard.
(Three months later)
Princess Bubblegum helped me put on my dress, Shoko fixed my hair and face. "Today is the day Betty and you look gorgeous". Shoko said. The dress fitted perfectly and we proceeded with my nails and make up, "Are you nervous Betty"? Princess bubblegum asked. "Yeah a little bit". "It's natural; anyway don't let it get to you okay"? Shoko said, we finished my preparation and we went to the house. Simon was waiting on the altar with Finn, Jake was playing his viola. All the princesses from every kingdom were her, Including Aiden, Adam, Maya, Gunther, and some of Finn and Jake's friends. While walking down the aisle everyone's eyes are on me, "Don't let it get to you Betty, just walk properly". I thought to myself.
When I got to Simon the music stops and we faced the altar, then out of nowhere a yellow-skinned man with a big robe appeared and he said, "So you are the ones getting married huh, well then let's start". "Wait a minute who are you, we don't even know you". The man laughed and he said, "I'm the king of Ooo girl, and I'm the highest authority in the land". "But you're not the one who will carry out the ceremony". Simon said. The man glared at us and he asked, "And who might that be huh"? "Me". The king of Ooo turned and he was shocked, it was death. "Adam, take care of this trespasser". Adam nodded, he wrapped the king with vines and he launched him far away. Princess bubblegum the hugged Adam and gave him a kiss on the cheek
Death started our wedding; he said a few messages about us and about wedding in general, after that the vows are next. "Take the rings and answer me, will you, Simon, have Betty as your lawfully wedded wife, will you love her, honor her, comfort her and keep her in sickness and in health"? "Yes I do". Death turned to me and he said, "And will you, Betty, have Simon as your lawfully wedded husband, will you love him, honor him, comfort him and keep him in sickness and in health"? "I will". Nods and we proceeded to the giving of the rings, Finn gave it to us. The rings were made of gold with our names engraved on it, Adam gave us a thumbs-up and Death said, "Please join hands and repeat after me.
"I, Simon, take Betty, as my wedded partner, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part". Simon placed the ring on my finger while holding his laugh, the last part was very ironic and it was my turn. "I, Betty, take Simon, as my wedded partner, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part". I placed Simon's ring on his finger and Death said, "By the authority vested in my by Glob, I pronounce this couple to be united in marriage. You may now kiss". Simon and I kissed lightly and the wedding was finished, everyone was cheering for us.
Third Person View
"We want to thank everyone for coming and also our friends who helped us prepare for our wedding, the two of us were separated for a long time and we are very happy that we are officially husband and wife". Simon said. Everyone who attended clapped their hands while waiting for the food. Simon nodded at Jake and he revealed the food, there was meat, fish, and fruits. Next was tree trunks, Jake helped her with her par of the table and the displayed multiple pies with different flavors. The last was Bonnibel; she brought in a four tiered cake along with ten smaller cakes for the people to share. Simon and Betty cuts their cake and the reception finally began.
Death used his human form to roam around the reception to avoid scaring the guest, He went to the wedded couple and he said, "Congratulations you two, anyway is there anything alcoholic here. Fixing the dead world is stressful you know". Simon pointed at the bar where Adam and Aiden are both sitting at, Death went to them and he was shocked when he saw that all of the liquor he stored at the basement was on display. "Where did you guys get that"? "Oh we found it under the house man the place was loaded". Death sobs silently and the two elementals noticed, "I can't believe that we are seeing death crying right now". Adam said. "Where's Finn anyway he needs to see this"! Aiden suggested.
Finn was with Flame princess and Shoko, the three were spending time together under a tree close to where the reception was held. "You look stunning on that suit Finn". Flame princess said. Shoko agreed and Finn laughed, "both of you are gorgeous if not for Betty it looks like you two are the ones getting married". Finn kissed both of them and they relaxed, "I want a wedding like this Finn". Shoko said. "We'll have our one day and I want it to be very special". Finn and Shoko stared at each other and Finn leaned on to give her a deep kiss. Flame princess wanted one too so she tugged Finn's suit and she looked at him with cute eyes. "Aww, Don't think we're leaving you out". Finn also gave her a kiss.
The three of them are enjoying each other; Finn is taking turns with the two of them. It started with a kiss, Finn embraced the two of them and he began making out with them one at a time. Their minds were wandering off, but they were pulled back when the heard Jake. "Ahem". The three quickly fixed themselves and Jake continued, "Why don't we save it for later and enjoy the night okay"? They all nodded while hiding their faces, Jake smiles as he walked back to the reception. "That was scary". Flame princess said. The three laughed and Finn said, "We better get there or else they will grow suspicious". Finn stood up and fixed his suit, Shoko and Flame princess locked their arms on Finn's and they kissed him on both cheeks.
While walking, Finn saw Aiden and Adam. The two were drinking and they invited him to join them, Finn then whispered to his lovers, "I'm going to join those two, why don't you go and mingle with the other princesses". Finn walked towards the bar and as he moved closer and closer he saw death, he was shedding tears while downing a bottle of whiskey. "Finn, remember these"? Adam pointed the bottles and Finn said, "Yeah those are the ones we found inside the house right, what about it"? "Adam smiles and he said, "Well it was Death's and I guess he's really saving it". Finn puts his hand on death's shoulders and he said, "Well sharing is caring right"? Death cried more and the three laughed at him.
As the time passed the guest went back to their kingdoms one by one, Betty, Simon and the others were left. Bubblegum, Shoko and Flame princess are talking to each other. Finn, Adam, Death, Jake and Aiden are still drinking. Jake went down first and Lady carried him back to their house. "Well I guess I'll leave you guys to it". Death said. He opened a portal and went back to the dead world, Finn and Adam passed out but Aiden is still standing, Maya and Flame princess sked him to go home. "Shoko help me with these two". Bubblegum said. They carried Finn and Adam to her car and they drove back to the tree house. "You have Finn on your own again". Shoko nods and they entered the house; she carried Finn to the bed and laid him down. "At least flame princess trusts. right Finn"? Shoko puts on her night dress and slept beside the sleeping hero.
A wedding chapter, it's hard to write what you haven't experienced yet. Anyway Betty and Simon are finally married, Finn, Shoko and Flame princess have built a solid trust with each other. Well on another topic about the reviews, try to be nice to each other. You can be rude to me but I can't speak for the others. Anyway enough of that, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter.
