"Allen wait." Anita called. "Take these to your friends at school and those two nice boys who helped you at the gallery." She said handing her niece six circular boxes in a plastic bag. "What are these?" Allen asked slightly skeptic at the amount of chocolate. She had seen her aunt trying new chocolate recipes all last weekend.
"They're just friendship chocolates Allen, they're not packaged in heart shaped boxes for a reason." Anita gave a smile. "And don't worry I'll have plenty of chocolate for you when you come home, so try to have a good day." With that Allen was pushed out the door and into Cross's car.
On the way to the school Cross spoke "Allen I've been thinking that since we live near Tiedoll and his brats, you should drive to school with them. Perhaps his oldest." Allen gave him a crossed look. "Why all of a sudden?" Cross smirked "Well it seems that you and the long haired brat have been getting along great, so Tiedoll and I talked it over. He's asking him today I'm sure." Allen rolled her eyes and sighed, which Cross took as a 'whatever, fine'.
The inside of the school was decorated with pink and red hearts, an assortment of red and pink flowers, with bouquets at people's lockers with notes. "Allen!" Lavi called out and hugged her from behind. He had white jeans and a red shirt with black and red sneakers. The school had asked the students and staff to dress for the holiday.
Even Kanda had apparently dressed for it, with a red, almost skin tight sport shirt and black jeans and boots. It was weird as Allen kind of had the opposite. A white shirt dress and red leggings with white ankle boots. Allen and Kanda stared at each other for a moment. "Did you copy me, Moyashi?" Kanda asked irritated. They didn't look bad individually or together, but together they looked like a couple.
"Tch, in your dreams BaKanda." Allen gave a half sneer to him before digging in the plastic bag. She handed the first one to Lavi. "Here, for being my friend." She said blandly while keeping her glare trained on Kanda. "Aw thanks Moyashi-chan." "Its Allen." She handed another box to Kanda, who took it slower than Lavi. "My aunt made them, so wipe that look off your face." Kanda glared at her. "Eat it don't eat it, I don't really care."
"Allen you look so cute!" Road's voice echoed down the hall. She was wearing a red and pink tutu skirt and what appeared to be a matching white silk top. She had white tights and red hearts and black Mary Janes. Behind her was Wisely and Tyki. Both dressed similarly with pink collared shirts and jeans.
"Thank you Road, you do as well." Allen said with a smile. Tyki couldn't help but stare at Allen, and only took a break when he saw the dark aura Kanda was making. Then he noticed the box in his hand. "What's this, you excepted chocolate from a girl Kanda. That's not like you." "It's from the beansprout." "My name is Allen, you jerk."
She pulled out another box and handed it to Tyki. "It's friendship chocolate." He accepted the box, somewhat upset, though he didn't' show it on his face. He wished it was Valentine chocolate, but he had to start somewhere and if that meant being her friend then so be it.
"Thank you very much Allen. Happy Valentine's Day to you all." He said before walking off with his cousins. "How many of those boxes did your Aunt make?" Lavi asked he opened his to find multiple chocolates, including white and dark chocolate. "Four I believe." Allen said checking the bag and finding only one box left.
They made their way to the lockers and found that all of them had flowers and notes. "Wow Kanda, you still got valentines even though you're a complete ass? Allen said. Lavi snickered and tried to hide it but failed. "Can it Moyashi." He moved the flowers and notes over to get into his locker. Lavi placed his notes in his locker, Allen was the only one to read hers.
"To the musician,
You belong to me
My snow white queen
There's nowhere to run
So let's just get it over
Soon my love, you'll see
You're just like me
Don't scream anymore, my love
'Cause all I want is you
I look enjoy seeing you during your time here at Black Order. Enjoy your Valentine's Day."
"He quoted Evanescence 'Snow White Queen'." Kanda and Lavi just looked at Allen's calm face in shock. "That's all you have to say to this freakish valentine note?" Lavi exclaimed. "Bookman why are you screaming in the middle of the hallway?" It was Link. "Allen's got a stalker." Link paused and was handed the note.
After he read it he spoke "Would you like me to report this. It might not be safe for you if this is serious." Allen shrugged "If it bothers you all so much then go ahead." She might as well get used to this now, it may become a more common occurrence when she becomes popular.
"I shall then, behavior like this cannot be tolerated." He turned to leave but was stopped by the box that was almost shoved at him. "Friendship chocolate." Was all he got before Allen walked off to her first class. 'Friendship?' He thought but continued his walk through the halls.
"Allen how are you not bothered by this?" Lavi asked in a serious tone. "My uncle owns at least 30 guns, that I know of, and I have access to them. I carry throwing knives wherever I go, and have my own assortment of swords and guns in my room. I know how to use all of them, I think I can protect myself."
"Oh, well I guess you're well protected then." A voice from behind them said. "Uncle Neah." "Happy Valentine's Day, my wonderful niece." He said handing her roses. "Thank you uncle, are you coming over tonight?" He nodded "Yes and I look forward to hearing that new song you wrote. Have a good day you three." He walked to what they assumed was his classroom.
"Hands off my flowers!" "Can you read? They're addressed to me!" Two girls were apparently fighting over a bouquet. "Wow school hasn't even started yet and it's already become a war zone." Lavi said with a grin. "Hm."
"Do you ever say full sentences?" Allen asked. "Do you ever get watered? Cause it seems you haven't grown since you were in elementary school." Kanda retorted. "I'm not that short, you're just freakishly tall." Was the comeback. Lavi backed away from them and their argument and suddenly had a great idea.
He pulled out his cell phone and took a picture of the two arguing. Unfortunately his flash was on so it caught the attention of the other two. "Lavi did you just take a picture of us?" Allen asked calmly. Kanda pulled out Mugen and slowly unsheathed it.
"N-no I would never." He stuttered before he took another and ran off, Kanda right on his heels. "Get back here you stupid rabbit!" Allen shook her head. 'Love really is war.'
