It was going to be a battle to death. Natsume Hyuuga had always known that everything would all end up in a bloody war. Dreams would be crushed; lives would be lost; and hearts would be broken, but they were all necessary.

War was necessary to attain the peace that everyone wanted, after all.

And so despite the fear in him – the fear not only for himself but for all those that he held most precious, he said yes.

Yes, he would join the war.

Yes, he would risk his life for his friends.

Yes, he would do everything to end the war that had long plagued him and the many alices before him.

Yes: It was going to be a battle to death.
